Analysis of mechanical strengths of extreme line casing joint considering geometric, material, and contact nonlinearities

To address the challenges associated with difficult casing running,limited annular space,and poor cementing quality in the completion of ultra-deep wells,the extreme line casing offers an effective solution over conventional casings.However,due to its smaller size,the joint strength of extreme line casing is reduced,which may cause failure when running in the hole.To address this issue,this study focuses on the CST-ZTΦ139.7 mm×7.72 mm extreme line casing and employs the elastic-plastic mechanics to establish a comprehensive analysis of the casing joint,taking into account the influence of geometric and material nonlinearities.A finite element model is developed to analyze the forces and deformations of the extreme line casing joint under axial tension and external collapse load.The model investigates the stress distribution of each thread tooth subjected to various tensile forces and external pressures.Additionally,the tensile strength and crushing strength of the extreme line casing joint are determined through both analytical and experimental approaches.The findings reveal that,under axial tensile load,the bearing surface of each thread tooth experiences uneven stress,with relatively high equivalent stress at the root of each thread tooth.The end thread teeth are valuable spots for failure.It is observed that the critical fracture axial load of thread decreases linearly with the increase of thread tooth sequence.Under external pressure,the circumferential stress is highest at the small end of the external thread,leading to yield deformation.The tensile strength of the joint obtained from the finite element model exhibits a relative error of less than 7%compared to the analytical and experimental values,proving the reliability of the finite element model.The tensile strength of the joint is 3091.9 k N.Moreover,in terms of anti-collapse capability,the joints demonstrate higher resistance to collapse compared to the casing body,which is consistent with the test results where the pipe body experiences collapse and failure while the joints remain intact during the experiment.The failure load of the casing body under external collapse pressure is 87.4 MPa.The present study provides a basic understanding of the mechanical strengths of extreme line casing joint. 展开更多

A sciatic nerve transection and repair model was established in Sprague-Dawley rats by transecting the tendon of obturator internus muscle in the greater sciatic foramen and suturing with nylon sutures. The models were treated with tacrolimus gavage (4 mg/kg per day) for 0, 2, 4 and 6 weeks. Specimens were harvested at 6 weeks of intragastric administration. Masson staining revealed that the collagen fiber content and scar area in the nerve anastomosis of the sciatic nerve injury rats were significantly reduced after tacrolimus administration. Hematoxylin-eosin staining showed that tacrolimus significantly increased myelinated nerve fiber density, average axon diameter and myelin sheath thickness. Intragastric administration of tacrolimus also led to a significant increase in the recovery rate of gastrocnemius muscle wet weight and the sciatic functional index after sciatic nerve injury. The above indices were most significantly improved at 6 weeks after of tacrolimus gavage. The myelinated nerve fiber density in the nerve anastomosis and the sciatic nerve functions had a significant negative correlation with the scar area, as detected by Spearman's rank correlation analysis. These findings indicate that tacrolimus can promote peripheral nerve regeneration and accelerate the recovery of neurological function through the reduction of scar formation. 展开更多

Challenges and Methods to Improve Well Cementing Quality for 177.8 mm Liner in Gaoshiti-Moxi Area

Gaoshiti-Moxi structure belt of An-Yue Sinian gas reservoir, which was China’s largest monomer Marine carbonate gas reservoir up to now, located in vying-dragon female temple structure group that belong to the ancient uplift slope of the middle of Sichuan. With the exploration and development of high temperature and high pressure carbonate reservoir, a large number of challenges and problems, such as long isolation section, active oil-gas show, large temperature difference, prone to super retarding cement slurry and gas channeling at flare position, have been encountered in the cementing of 177.8 mm hang-liner. In order to solve these problems, numerous measures and methods have been put into use for reducing the safety risk of cementing and improving cementing quality. The large temperature difference channeling cement slurry system, effective anti-pollution spacer and high-pressure packer type liner hanger were developed and applied for field tests in the early stage of development. In addition, equilibrium pressure cementing technology, optimizing of centralizer placement and plasma column structure, improvement of pump displacement and hold pressure while waiting on cement were used to ensure nice displacement efficiency and cementing quality. As Moxi X well for example, the cementing quality factor of merit was 40.29% and the qualification rate was up to 78.87% after adopting the cementing measures and methods above. The cementing quality was much higher than previous level and provided technical support for Gaoshiti-Moxi area. 展开更多

目的研究细菌过滤器联合加热湿化器对呼吸机相关性肺炎(VAP)发生率的影响。方法采用前瞻性随机对照试验方法,选择2017年3月至2020年3月在南京医科大学第一附属医院ICU需行机械通气≥48 h的患者210例,将其随机分为细菌过滤器组(104例)和... 目的研究细菌过滤器联合加热湿化器对呼吸机相关性肺炎(VAP)发生率的影响。方法采用前瞻性随机对照试验方法,选择2017年3月至2020年3月在南京医科大学第一附属医院ICU需行机械通气≥48 h的患者210例,将其随机分为细菌过滤器组(104例)和对照组(106例)。对照组患者采用加热湿化器,不联合任何过滤装置,实验组采用加热湿化器联合细菌过滤器。采用单因素logistic回归分析研究VAP发生的危险因素,采用Kaplan-Meier法比较2组患者VAP的累积发生率,采用亚组分析及Cox生存回归分析研究细菌过滤器预防VAP的效果。结果细菌过滤器组气管切开患者比例较对照组低,差异有统计学意义(19.2%vs 38.7%,χ^(2)=9.634,P=0.002)。2组VAP患病率比较,差异无统计学意义(22.1%vs 34.0%,χ^(2)=3.647,P=0.066),Logistic回归分析显示,细菌过滤器未能有效减少VAP的发生率(OR=0.552,95%CI=0.299~1.019,P=0.058);Kaplan-Meier分析未显示细菌过滤器在预防VAP方面具有显著优势(log-rank检验,P=0.060);亚组分析及Cox生存回归分析显示,在机械通气<25 d的患者中,细菌过滤器显著减少VAP的发生率(HR=0.373,P=0.004)。结论在机械通气<25 d的患者中,细菌过滤器联合加热湿化可以显著减少VAP的发生率,但随着机械通气时间的延长而不再有意义。 展开更多

Methane hydrate preparation is an effective method to store and transport methane.In promoters to facilitate methane hydrate formation,homogeneous surfactant solutions,sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)in particular,are more favorable than heterogeneous particles,thanks to their faster reaction rate,more storage capacity,and higher stability.Foaming,however,could not be avoided during hydrate dissociation with the presence of SDS.This paper investigated the ability of five fluorinated surfactants:potassium perfluorobutane sulfonate(PBS),potassium perfluorohexyl sulfonate(PHS),potassium perfluorooctane sulfonate(POS),ammonium perfluorooctane sulfonate(AOS),and tetraethylammonium perfluorooctyl sulfonate(TOS)to promote methane hydrate formation.It was found that both PBS and PHS achieve a storage capacity of 150(V/V,the volume of methane that can be stored by one volume of water)within 30 min,more than that of SDS.Cationic ions and the carbon chain length were then discussed on their effects during the formation.It was concluded that PBS,PHS,and POS produced no foam during hydrate dissociation,making them promising promoters in large-scale application. 展开更多
