To clarify the contribution of oxygen vacancies to room-temperature ferromagnetism(RTFM)in cobalt doped TiO_(2)(Co-TiO_(2)),and in order to obtain the high level of magnetization suitable for spintronic devices,in thi...To clarify the contribution of oxygen vacancies to room-temperature ferromagnetism(RTFM)in cobalt doped TiO_(2)(Co-TiO_(2)),and in order to obtain the high level of magnetization suitable for spintronic devices,in this work,Co-TiO_(2) nano-particles are prepared via the sol-gel route,followed by vacuum annealing for different durations,and the influence of vacu-um annealing duration on the structure and room-temperature magnetism of the compounds is examined.The results reveal that with an increase in annealing duration,the concentration of oxygen vacancies rises steadily,while the saturation magnetiza-tion(Ms)shows an initial gradual increase,followed by a sharp decline,and even disappearance.The maximum Ms is as high as 1.19 emu/g,which is promising with respect to the development of spintronic devices.Further analysis reveals that oxygen va-cancies,modulated by annealing duration,play a critical role in tuning room-temperature magnetism.An appropriate concentra-tion of oxygen vacancies is beneficial in terms of promoting RTFM in Co-TiO_(2).However,excessive oxygen vacancies will result in a negative impact on RTFM,due to antiferromagnetic superexchange interactions originating from nearest-neighbor Co^(2+)ions.展开更多
Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been demonstrated to be one of the most promising technologies in the field of renewable energy.However,the presence of the defects in the perovskite films greatly limits the efficienc...Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been demonstrated to be one of the most promising technologies in the field of renewable energy.However,the presence of the defects in the perovskite films greatly limits the efficiency and the stability of the PSCs.The additive engineering is one of the most effective approaches to overcome this problem.Most of the successful additives are extracted from the petroleum-based materials,while the research on the biomass-based additives is still lagging behind.In this paper,two ecofriendly hydroxyalkyl cellulose additives,i.e.,hydroxyethyl cellulose(HEC)and hydroxylpropyl cellulose(HPC),are investigated on the performance of the MAPbl_(3)-based inverted PSCs.Due to the strong interaction between the hydroxyl groups of the cellulose and the divalent cations of the perovskite,these additives enhance the crystal grain orientation and significantly repair the defects of the perovskite films.Working as the additives,these two cellulose derivatives show a strong passivation ability,which significantly reduces the trap density and improves the optoelectronic feature of the PSCs.Compared with the average power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the control device(19.19%),an enhancement of~10%is achieved after the addition of HEC.The optimized device(PCE=21.25%)with a long-term stability(10:80 h,PCE=20.93%)is achieved by the incorporation of the HEC additives into the precursor solution.It is the best performance among the PSCs with the cellulose additives up to now.This research provides a novel choice to develop a cost-effective and renewable additive for the PSCs with high efficiency and excellent long-term stability.展开更多
Fluorinated salts and/or high salt concentrations are usually necessary to produce protective films on the electrodes for high-voltage aqueous batteries,yet these approaches increase the cost,toxicity and reaction res...Fluorinated salts and/or high salt concentrations are usually necessary to produce protective films on the electrodes for high-voltage aqueous batteries,yet these approaches increase the cost,toxicity and reaction resistances of battery.Herein,we report a dilute fluorine-free electrolyte design to overcome this dilemma.By using the LiClO_(4) salt and polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether(PED)solvent and optimizing the LiClO_(4)/PED/H_(2)O molar ratio,we formulate a 1 mol kg^(-1)3 V-class hybrid aqueous electrolyte that enables reversible charge/discharge of 2.5 V LiMn_(2)O_(4)|Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12) full cell at both low(0.5C,92.4%capacity retention in 300 cycles)and high(5C,80.4%capacity retention in 2000 cycles)rates.This excellent performance is reached even without the generation of protective film on either anode or cathode as identified by in/ex situ characterizations.The selection of appropriate ingredients that have both high stability and strong interactions with water is critical to widen the potential window of electrolyte while suppressing parasitic reactions on the electrodes.This work suggests that expensive and toxic fluorinate salts are no longer necessary for 3 V-class aqueous electrolytes,boosting the development of low-cost,environmentally-friendly,high-power and high-energy-density aqueous batteries.展开更多

In recent years,orbital angular momentum(OAM),as a new usable degree of freedom of photons,has been widely applied in both classical optics and quantum optics.For example,digital spiral imaging uses the OAM spectrum o...In recent years,orbital angular momentum(OAM),as a new usable degree of freedom of photons,has been widely applied in both classical optics and quantum optics.For example,digital spiral imaging uses the OAM spectrum of the output beam from the object to restore the symmetry information of the object.However,the related experiments have been carried out in free space so far.Due to the poor anti-noise performance,limited transmission distance and other reasons,the practicability is seriously restricted.Here,we have carried out a digital spiral imaging experiment through a few-mode fiber,to achieve the identification of the symmetry of object by measuring the OAM spectrum of the output beam.In experiment,we have demonstrated the identification of the symmetry of amplitude-only and phase-only objects with the two-,three-and four-fold rotational symmetries.We also give the understanding of the physics.We believe that our work has greatly improved the practical application of digital spiral imaging in remote sensing.展开更多
