Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR) is a common radio emission,which can contribute to the magnetosphere-ionosphereatmosphere co u pling.Similar emissions have been observed in all magnetic planet magnetospheres of the solar system.In this study,using observations from the FAST satellite from 30 August 1996 to 9 September 2001,the distribution of AKR in altitude=500-4500 km and invariant latitude (|ILAT|)=60°-80°has been analyzed.63045 AKR samples have been identified with~48%(52%) samples on the dayside (nightside).Of considerable interest,there is a distinct MLT asymmetry with the high occurrence rate in MLT=05-08 and 18-22(02-05 and 12-17) in the northern (southern) hemisphere.The distinct MLT asymmetry is associated with the direction of Bxof the interplaneta ry magnetic field.In addition,the occurrence rate on the nightside clearly increases as the AE^(*) index increases.This study further enriches the information and understanding of AKR in the magnetosphere as well as other similar radio emissions. 展开更多

Nerve scarring after peripheral nerve injury can severely hamper nerve regeneration and functional recovery.Further,the anti-inflammatory cytokine,interleukin-10,can inhibit nerve scar formation.Saikosaponin a(SSa) is a monomer molecule extracted from the Chinese medicine,Bupleurum.SSa can exert anti-inflammatory effects in spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury.However,it has not been shown whether SSa can play a role in peripheral nerve injury.In this study,rats were randomly assigned to three groups.In the sham group,the left sciatic nerve was directly sutured after exposure.In the sciatic nerve injury(SNI) + SSa and SNI groups,the left sciatic nerve was sutured and continuously injected daily with SSa(10 mg/kg) or an equivalent volume of saline for 7 days.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay results demonstrated that at 7 days after injury,interleukin-10 level was considerably higher in the SNI + SSa group than in the SNI group.Masson staining and western blot assay demonstrated that at 8 weeks after injury,type I and III collagen content was lower and nerve scar formation was visibly less in the SNI + SSa group compared with the SNI group.Simultaneously,sciatic functional index and nerve conduction velocity were improved in the SNI + SSa group compared with the SNI group.These results confirm that SSa can increase the expression of the anti-inflammatory factor,interleukin-10,and reduce nerve scar formation to promote functional recovery of injured sciatic nerve. 展开更多

芬顿高级氧化技术是降解有机微污染物的有效手段.过一硫酸盐(PMS)类芬顿技术因具有高效的氧化剂利用率和较宽的pH操作范围,已成为目前工业中过氧化氢芬顿技术的一种有前途的替代品.非均相催化剂能够有效活化PMS,产生多种活性自由基,从... 芬顿高级氧化技术是降解有机微污染物的有效手段.过一硫酸盐(PMS)类芬顿技术因具有高效的氧化剂利用率和较宽的pH操作范围,已成为目前工业中过氧化氢芬顿技术的一种有前途的替代品.非均相催化剂能够有效活化PMS,产生多种活性自由基,从而氧化降解有机微污染物.二维过渡金属碳化物/氮化物(MXene)具有较好的电子传输效率和可调的表面官能团,是一种良好的非均相催化材料.然而,MXene的不稳定性、反应体系的自聚集作用和不明确的活性氧(ROS)生成机制极大地限制了它们在实际环境中的广泛应用.鉴于剥离的MXene中钛的高反应活性缺陷可以原位锚定过渡金属材料,本文通过氧化还原策略,将MnO_(2)纳米颗粒原位沉积在MXene纳米片上制备了MXene/MnO_(2)复合材料.X射线衍射图中(002)峰的偏移、透射电镜和电子衍射环图中交错的晶格条纹等表征结果表明,MnO_(2)纳米颗粒均匀地负载在剥离的MXene纳米片上.X射线光电子能谱证实了MXene表面钛缺陷与MnO_(2)纳米颗粒通过氧化还原作用相连接.同时,通过调整反应时间确定了18 h原位沉积制备的MXene/MnO_(2)具有最佳的产率和双酚A降解速率.此时的复合材料能够在4 min内活化PMS去除95.9%的BPA(50 mg/L),矿化效率达到了51.2%,表现出较好的催化性能.电子顺磁共振和淬灭实验结果表明,MXene/MnO_(2)活化PMS降解BPA为非自由基途径.实验观察结合密度泛函理论计算表明,大量暴露的锰位点有效吸附并活化PMS,从而促进了单线态氧的产生.通过高价Mn-oxo相直接生成1O_(2)的普遍途径具有较高的能垒(3.34 eV).相比之下,•OOH作为中间体产生1O_(2)的途径(1.84 eV)在能量上更可行.得益于MXene的快速电荷转移能力和MnO_(2)强PMS活化能力的双重优势,工程化的MXene/MnO_(2)/PVDF催化膜对京密引水渠河水中的有机微污染物表现出高效的活性和出色的长期稳定性.综上,本文通过氧化还原原位生长策略制得了MXene/MnO_(2)催化剂,并深入研究了其在类芬顿反应中催化降解有机微污染物的性能.通过实验表征和理论计算相结合的方法,揭示了该催化剂对有机微污染物的降解机理.本研究不仅为MXene基催化剂的设计和合成提供了新的思路,也为开发可广泛应用于实际水体中处理有机微污染物的催化剂提供了参考. 展开更多

Effects of improved amino acid balance diet on lysine mammary utilization, whole body protein turnover and muscle protein breakdown on lactating sows

Background The study objective was to test the hypothesis that low crude protein(CP)diet with crystalline amino acids(CAA)supplementation improves Lys utilization efficiency for milk production and reduces protein turnover and muscle protein breakdown.Eighteen lactating multiparous Yorkshire sows were allotted to 1 of 2 isocaloric diets(10.80 MJ/kg net energy):control(CON;19.24%CP)and reduced CP with“optimal”AA profile(OPT;14.00%CP).Sow body weight and backfat were recorded on d 1 and 21 of lactation and piglets were weighed on d 1,14,18,and 21 of lactation.Between d 14 and 18,a subset of 9 sows(CON=4,OPT=5)was infused with a mixed solution of 3-[methyl-2H3]histidine(bolus injection)and[13C]bicarbonate(priming dose)first,then a constant 2-h[13C]bicarbonate infusion followed by a 6-h primed constant[1-13C]lysine infusion.Serial blood and milk sampling were performed to determine plasma and milk Lys enrichment,Lys oxidation rate,whole body protein turnover,and muscle protein breakdown.Results Over the 21-d lactation period,compared to CON,sows fed OPT had greater litter growth rate(P<0.05).Compared to CON,sows fed OPT had greater efficiency of Lys(P<0.05),Lys mammary flux(P<0.01)and whole-body protein turnover efficiency(P<0.05).Compared to CON,sows fed OPT tended to have lower whole body protein breakdown rate(P=0.069).Muscle protein breakdown rate did not differ between OPT and CON(P=0.197).Conclusion Feeding an improved AA balance diet increased efficiency of Lys and reduced whole-body protein turnover and protein breakdown.These results imply that the lower maternal N retention observed in lactating sows fed improved AA balance diets in previous studies may be a result of greater partitioning of AA towards milk rather than greater body protein breakdown. 展开更多

The high critical electric field strength of Ga_(2)O_(3)enables higher operating voltages and reduced switching losses in power electronic devices.Suitable Schottky metals and epitaxial films are essential for further enhancing device performance.In this work,the fabrication of vertical Ga_(2)O_(3)barrier diodes with three different barrier metals was carried out on an n--Ga_(2)O_(3)homogeneous epitaxial film deposited on an n+-β-Ga_(2)O_(3)substrate by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition,excluding the use of edge terminals.The ideal factor,barrier height,specific on-resistance,and breakdown voltage characteristics of all devices were investigated at room temperature.In addition,the vertical Ga_(2)O_(3)barrier diodes achieve a higher breakdown volt-age and exhibit a reverse leakage as low as 4.82×10^(-8)A/cm^(2)by constructing a NiO/Ga_(2)O_(3)heterojunction.Therefore,Ga_(2)O_(3)power detailed investigations into Schottky barrier metal and NiO/Ga_(2)O_(3)heterojunction of Ga_(2)O_(3)homogeneous epitaxial films are of great research potential in high-efficiency,high-power,and high-reliability applications. 展开更多

目的探讨十二井穴放血对颅脑创伤(TBI)大鼠脑水肿及线粒体生物合成的影响。方法将56只SD大鼠随机等分为7组,即轻度TBI组、轻度TBI加井穴放血组、中度TBI组、中度TBI加井穴放血组、重度TBI组、重度TBI加井穴放血组和对照组,每组8只。应... 目的探讨十二井穴放血对颅脑创伤(TBI)大鼠脑水肿及线粒体生物合成的影响。方法将56只SD大鼠随机等分为7组,即轻度TBI组、轻度TBI加井穴放血组、中度TBI组、中度TBI加井穴放血组、重度TBI组、重度TBI加井穴放血组和对照组,每组8只。应用电子控制性脑皮质撞击仪,轻度、中度、重度TBI组的打击深度分别为1、3和4 mm。对照组仅开骨窗后缝合皮肤,不进行打击。井穴放血通过1 ml注射器针头于大鼠双侧前肢趾端的十二井穴点刺出血完成,出血量为每穴10μl,每12 h进行1次放血。手术后72 h,进行神经功能损伤评分(m NSS),随后取10 mg损伤周围脑组织,q RT-PCR检测过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体γ共激活因子1α(PGC-1α)、线粒体转录因子A(TFAM)基因的表达和线粒体DNA(mt DNA)拷贝数,剩余脑组织进行脑含水量测量。结果 TBI后大鼠的m NSS评分均高于对照组,且随着TBI严重程度的增加,评分依次增高(P<0.05),且轻、中度TBI组大鼠在应用井穴放血疗法后m NSS评分与相应的单纯损伤组比较降低(P<0.05);TBI模型大鼠的PGC-1α和TFAM基因表达水平以及mt DNA拷贝数均高于对照组(P<0.05);轻度TBI组大鼠在应用井穴放血疗法后,mt DNA拷贝数高于相应的未应用放血疗法的大鼠(P<0.05),中度TBI组大鼠在应用放血疗法后PGC-1α基因表达水平和mt DNA拷贝数升高(P<0.05),轻、重度TBI组大鼠在应用井穴放血疗法后,虽然PGC-1α和TFAM基因表达水平均有升高趋势,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);TBI后各组大鼠脑组织含水量与对照组比较均增高,且中度TBI组大鼠在应用井穴放血疗法后脑组织含水量与相应的单纯损伤组大鼠比较降低(P<0.05)。结论井穴放血可能通过激活PGC及下游通路,促进mt DNA的生物合成,从而增强损伤脑组织的能量供应,进而改善脑水肿程度,发挥脑保护作用。 展开更多

Many studies have shown that bio-scaffolds have important value for promoting axonal regeneration of injured spinal cord.Indeed,cell transplantation and bio-scaffold implantation are considered to be effective methods for neural regeneration.This study was designed to fabricate a type of three-dimensional collagen/silk fibroin scaffold (3D-CF) with cavities that simulate the anatomy of normal spinal cord.This scaffold allows cell growth in vitro and in vivo.To observe the effects of combined transplantation of neural stem cells (NSCs) and 3D-CF on the repair of spinal cord injury.Forty Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into four groups: sham (only laminectomy was performed),spinal cord injury (transection injury of T10 spinal cord without any transplantation),3D-CF (3D scaffold was transplanted into the local injured cavity),and 3D-CF + NSCs (3D scaffold co-cultured with NSCs was transplanted into the local injured cavity.Neuroelectrophysiology,imaging,hematoxylin-eosin staining,argentaffin staining,immunofluorescence staining,and western blot assay were performed.Apart from the sham group,neurological scores were significantly higher in the 3D-CF + NSCs group compared with other groups.Moreover,latency of the 3D-CF + NSCs group was significantly reduced,while the amplitude was significantly increased in motor evoked potential tests.The results of magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging showed that both spinal cord continuity and the filling of injury cavity were the best in the 3D-CF + NSCs group.Moreover,regenerative axons were abundant and glial scarring was reduced in the 3D-CF + NSCs group compared with other groups.These results confirm that implantation of 3D-CF combined with NSCs can promote the repair of injured spinal cord.This study was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of People’s Armed Police Force Medical Center in 2017 (approval No.2017-0007.2). 展开更多

This paper summarizes the current knowledge regarding the possible modes of action and nutritional factors involved in the use of essential oils (EOs) for swine and poultry. EOs have recently attracted increased interest as feed additives to be fed to swine and poultry, possibly replacing the use of antibiotic growth promoters which have been prohibited in the European Union since 2006. In general, EOs enhance the production of digestive secretions and nutrient absorption, reduce pathogenic stress in the gut, exert antioxidant properties and reinforce the animal's immune status, which help to explain the enhanced performance observed in swine and poultry. However, the mechanisms involved in causing this growth promotion are far from being elucidated, since data on the complex gut ecosystem, gut function, in vivo oxidative status and immune system are still lacking. In addition, limited information is available regarding the interaction between EOs and feed ingredients or other feed additives (especially pro- or prebiotics and organic acids). This knowledge may help feed formulators to better utilize EOs when they formulate diets for poultry and swine. 展开更多

Currently, there is no effective strategy to promote functional recovery after a spinal cord injury. Collagen scaffolds can not only provide support and guidance for axonal regeneration, but can also serve as a bridge for nerve regeneration at the injury site. They can additionally be used as carriers to retain mesenchymal stem cells at the injury site to enhance their effectiveness. Hence, we hypothesized that transplanting human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells on collagen scaffolds would enhance healing following acute complete spinal cord injury. Here, we test this hypothesis through animal studies and a phase I clinical trial.(1) Animal experiments: Models of completely transected spinal cord injury were established in rats and canines by microsurgery. Mesenchymal stem cells derived from neonatal umbilical cord tissue were adsorbed onto collagen scaffolds and surgically implanted at the injury site in rats and canines;the animals were observed after 1 week–6 months. The transplantation resulted in increased motor scores, enhanced amplitude and shortened latency of the motor evoked potential, and reduced injury area as measured by magnetic resonance imaging.(2) Phase I clinical trial: Forty patients with acute complete cervical injuries were enrolled at the Characteristic Medical Center of Chinese People's Armed Police Force and divided into two groups. The treatment group(n = 20) received collagen scaffolds loaded with mesenchymal stem cells derived from neonatal umbilical cordtissues;the control group(n = 20) did not receive the stem-cell loaded collagen implant. All patients were followed for 12 months. In the treatment group, the American Spinal Injury Association scores and activities of daily life scores were increased, bowel and urinary functions were recovered, and residual urine volume was reduced compared with the pre-treatment baseline. Furthermore, magnetic resonance imaging showed that new nerve fiber connections were formed, and diffusion tensor imaging showed that electrophysiological activity was recovered after the treatment. No serious complication was observed during follow-up. In contrast, the neurological functions of the patients in the control group were not improved over the follow-up period. The above data preliminarily demonstrate that the transplantation of human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells on a collagen scaffold can promote the recovery of neurological function after acute spinal cord injury. In the future, these results need to be confirmed in a multicenter, randomized controlled clinical trial with a larger sample size. The clinical trial was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Characteristic Medical Center of Chinese People's Armed Police Force on February 3, 2016(approval No. PJHEC-2016-A8). All animal experiments were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Characteristic Medical Center of Chinese People's Armed Police Force on May 20, 2015(approval No. PJHEC-2015-D5). 展开更多

AIM: To investigate the effect of integrin-linked kinase (ILK) on proliferation, metastasis, and invasion of the colorectal cancer cell line SW480.METHODS: In this study, the colorectal cancer cell line SW480 was stably transfected with ILK plasmids, and small interfering RNA (siRNA) was used to knockdown expression of nuclear factor (NF)-&#x003ba;B/p65. Methylthiazole tetrazolium (MTT) assay was performed to measure proliferation, and the wound healing migration assay and matrigel invasion assay were used to test the metastasis and invasion ability of SW480 cells. To explore the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) process, embryonic development, and the invasion and metastasis of tumors, the protein level of E-cadherin, vimentin, snail, and slug was detected by western blot. Immunofluorescence was also used to detect E-cadherin expression. Western blot was used to determine the level of phosphorylated-inhibitor of kappa B (I&#x003ba;B)a, inhibitor of gamma B (I&#x003b3;B)a, and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-&#x003ba;B) expressions and to explore the ILK signaling pathway.RESULTS: Western blot results revealed that ILK expression significantly increased when ILK was overexpressed in SW480 cells (P &#x0003c; 0.05). Proliferation, metastasis, and invasion ability were improved in the vector-ILK group compared to the vector group (P &#x0003c; 0.05). Immunofluorescence results revealed that E-cadherin fluorescence intensity decreased after ILK was overexpressed (P &#x0003c; 0.05). Western blot results revealed that the protein expression of E-cadherin was reduced, while vimentin, snail, and slug were upregulated when ILK was overexpressed in SW480 cells (P &#x0003c; 0.05). In order to determine the role of the NF-&#x003ba;B signaling pathway in ILK overexpression promoted EMT occurrence, we overexpressed ILK in SW480 cells and found that levels of NF-&#x003ba;B/p65 and cytoplasmic phosphorylated-I&#x003ba;Ba were increased and that cytoplasmic I&#x0043a;Ba levels were decreased compared to the control group (P &#x0003c; 0.05). However, the mecha- nism underlying this action remains unknown. This study investigated human SH-SYSY cells overexpressing the A53T mutant of α-synuclein. Four groups of cells were assayed: a control group (without any treatment), a genistein group (incubated with 20 μM genistein), a rote- none group (treated with 50 μM rotenone), and a rotenone + genistein group (incubated with 20 μM genistein and then treated with 50μM rotenone). A lactate dehydrogenase release test confirmed the protective effect of genistein, and genistein remarkably reversed mitochondrial oxidative injury caused by rotenone. Western blot assays showed that BCL-2 and Beclin ! levels were markedly higher in the genistein group than in the rotenone group. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling revealed that genistein inhibited rotenone-induced apoptosis in SH-SYSY cells. Compared with the control group, the expression of NFE2L2 and HMOX1 was significantly increased in the genistein + rotenone group. However, after treatment with estrogen receptor and NFE2L2 channel blockers (ICI-182780 and ML385, respectively), genistein could not elevate NFE2L2 and HMOX1 expression. ICI-182780 effectively prevented genistein-mediated phosphorylation of NFE2L2 and remarkably suppressed phosphorylation of AKT, a protein downstream of the estrogen receptor. These findings confirm that genistein has neuroprotective effects in a cell model of Parkinson's dis- ease. Genistein can reduce oxidative stress damage and cell apoptosis by activating estrogen receptors and NFE2L2 channels. 展开更多

Background:The study objective was to test the hypothesis that 1)lowering dietary crude protein(CP)increases dietary energetic efficiency and reduces metabolic heat associated with lactation,and 2)excessive dietary leucine(Leu)supplementation in a low CP diet decreases dietary energetic efficiency and increases metabolic heat associated with lactation.Methods:Fifty-four lactating multiparous Yorkshire sows were allotted to 1 of 3 isocaloric diets(10.80 MJ/kg net energy):1)control(CON;18.75%CP),2)reduced CP with a near ideal or optimal AA profile(OPT;13.75%CP)and 3)diet OPT with excessive Leu(OPTLEU;14.25%CP).Sow body weight and backfat were recorded on day 1 and 21 of lactation and piglets were weighed on day 1,4,8,14,18,and 21 of lactation.Energy balance was measured on sows during early(day 4 to 8)and peak(day 14 to18)lactation,and milk was sampled on day 8 and 18.Results:Over 21-day lactation,sows fed OPT lost body weight and body lipid(P<0.05).In peak lactation,sows fed OPT had higher milk energy output(P<0.05)than CON.Sows fed OPTLEU tended(P=0.07)to have less milk energy output than OPT and did not differ from CON.Maternal energy retention was lower(P<0.05)in OPT and OPTLEU compared to CON sows,and did not differ between OPTLEU and OPT sows.Sows fed OPT had higher(P<0.05)apparent energy efficiency for milk production compared to CON.Heat production associated with lactation was lower(P<0.05)or tended to be lower(P=0.082),respectively,in OPT and OPTLEU compared to CON sows.Conclusion:The OPT diet,in peak lactation,improved dietary energy utilization for lactation due to less urinary energy and metabolic heat loss,and triggered dietary energy deposition into milk at the expense of maternal lipid mobilization.Leucine supplementation above requirement may reduce dietary energy utilization for lactation by decreasing the energy partitioning towards milk,partially explaining the effectiveness of OPT diet over CON diets. 展开更多

Mild induced hypothermia has also been shown to have neuroprotective effects. However, the therapeutic effects of bloodletting at Jing points and mild induced hypothermia alone are limited. Therefore, we investigated whether combined treatment might have clinical effectiveness for the treatment of acute severe traumatic brain injury. Using a rat model of traumatic brain injury, combined treatment substantially alleviated cerebral edema and bloodbrain barrier dysfunction. Furthermore, neurological function was ameliorated, and cellular necrosis and the inflammatory response were lessened. These findings suggest that the combined effects of bloodletting at Jing points(20 μL, twice a day, for 2 days) and mild induced hypothermia(6 hours) are better than their individual effects alone. Their combined application may have marked neuroprotective effects in the clinical treatment of acute severe traumatic brain injury. 展开更多

However,most of the existing evaluation methods in basic research and clinical practice are not objective or intuitive for assessing the neurological function of big animals, and are also difficult to use to qualify the extent of damage and recovery. In the present study, we established a big animal model of traumatic brain injury by impacting the cortical motor region of beagles. At 2 weeks after successful modeling, we detected neurological deficiencies in the animal model using a series of techniques, including three-dimensional motion capture, electromyogram and ground reaction force. These novel technologies may play an increasingly important role in the field of traumatic brain injury diagnosis and rehabilitation in the future. Conventional fabrication methods lack the ability to control both macro- and micro-structures of generated scaffolds. Three-dimensional printing is a solid free-form fabrication method that provides novel ways to create customized scaffolds with high precision and accuracy. In this study, an electrically controlled cortical impactor was used to induce randomized brain tissue defects. The overall shape of scaffolds was designed using rat-specific anatomical data obtained from magnetic resonance imaging, and the internal structure was created by computer- aided design. As the result of limitations arising from insufficient resolution of the manufacturing process, we magnified the size of the cavity model prototype five-fold to successfully fabricate customized collagen-chitosan scaffolds using three-dimensional printing. Results demonstrated that scaffolds have three-dimensional porous structures, high porosity, highly specific surface areas, pore connectivity and good internal characteristics. Neural stem cells co-cultured with scaffolds showed good viability, indicating good biocompatibility and biodegradability. This technique may be a promising new strategy for regenerating complex damaged brain tissues, and helps pave the way toward personalized medicine. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Capecitabine(CAP)is a classic antimetabolic drug and has shown potential antirejection effects after liver transplantation(LT)in clinical studies.Our previous study showed that metronomic CAP can cause the programmed death of T cells by inducing oxidative stress in healthy mice.Ferroptosis,a newly defined non-apoptotic cell death that occurs in response to iron overload and lethal levels of lipid peroxidation,is an important mechanism by which CAP induces cell death.Therefore,ferroptosis may also play an important role in CAP-induced T cell death and play an immunosuppressive role in acute rejection after transplantation.AIM To investigate the functions and underlying mechanisms of antirejection effects of metronomic CAP.METHODS A rat LT model of acute rejection was established,and the effect of metronomic CAP on splenic hematopoietic function and acute graft rejection was evaluated 7 d after LT.In vitro,primary CD3+T cells were sorted from rat spleens and human peripheral blood,and co-cultured with or without 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)(active agent of CAP).The levels of ferroptosis-related proteins,ferrous ion concentration,and oxidative stress-related indicators were observed.The changes in mitochondrial structure were observed using electron microscopy.RESULTS With no significant myelotoxicity,metronomic CAP alleviated graft injury(Banff score 9 vs 7.333,P<0.001),prolonged the survival time of the recipient rats(11.5 d vs 16 d,P<0.01),and reduced the infiltration rate of CD3+T cells in peripheral blood(6.859 vs 3.735,P<0.001),liver graft(7.459 vs 3.432,P<0.001),and spleen(26.92 vs 12.9,P<0.001),thereby inhibiting acute rejection after LT.In vitro,5-FU,an end product of CAP metabolism,induced the degradation of the ferritin heavy chain by upregulating nuclear receptor coactivator 4,which caused the accumulation of ferrous ions.It also inhibited nuclear erythroid 2 p45-related factor 2,heme oxygenase-1,and glutathione peroxidase 4,eventually leading to oxidative damage and ferroptosis of T cells.CONCLUSION Metronomic CAP can suppress acute allograft rejection in rats by triggering CD3+T cell ferroptosis,which makes it an effective immunosuppressive agent after LT. 展开更多

Whistler mode waves are critical emissions in magnetized plasmas that usually influence the electron dynamics in a planetary magnetosphere.In this paper,we present a unique event in the Martian magnetosphere in which enhanced whistler mode waves(~10^(−11) V^(2)/m^(2)/Hz)with frequency of 0.1 f_(ce)-0.5 f_(ce) occurred,based on MAVEN data,exactly corresponding to a significant decrease of suprathermal electron fluxes.The diffusion coefficients are calculated by using the observed electric field wave spectra.The pitch angle diffusion coefficient can approach 10^(−2) s^(−1),which is much larger,by~100 times,than the momentum diffusion coefficient,indicating that pitch angle scattering dominates the whistler-electron resonance process.The current results can successfully explain the dropout of the suprathermal electrons in this event.This study provides direct evidence for whistler-driven electron losses in the Martian magnetosphere. 展开更多

When a robot is required to machine a complex curved workpiece with high precision and speed,the tool path is typically dispersed into a series of points and transmitted to the robot.The conventional trajectory planning method requires frequent starts and stops at each dispersed point to complete the task.This method not only reduces precision but also causes damage to the motors and robot.A real-time look-ahead algorithm is proposed in this paper to improve precision and minimize damage.The proposed algorithm includes a path-smoothing algorithm,a trajectory planning method,and a bidirectional scanning module.The path-smoothing method inserts a quintic Bezier curve between small adjacent line segments to achieve G^(2)continuity at the junctions.The trajectory planning method utilizes a quartic polynomial and a double-quartic polynomial that can achieve a constant velocity at the velocity limitation.The bidirectional scanning module calculates the velocity at each trajectory planning segment point,simplifying calculation complexity and can be run in real time.The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulations and experiments,which can be run in real time.In addition,high machining precision can be achieved by adjusting the relevant parameters. 展开更多

Plasma density is an important factor in determining wave-particle interactions in the magnetosphere.We develop a machine-learning-based electron density(MLED)model in the inner magnetosphere using electron density data from Van Allen Probes between September 25,2012 and August 30,2019.This MLED model is a physics-based nonlinear network that employs fundamental physical principles to describe variations of electron density.It predicts the plasmapause location under different geomagnetic conditions,and models separately the electron densities of the plasmasphere and of the trough.We train the model using gradient descent and backpropagation algorithms,which are widely used to deal effectively with nonlinear relationships among physical quantities in space plasma environments.The model gives explicit expressions with few parameters and describes the associations of electron density with geomagnetic activity,solar cycle,and seasonal effects.Under various geomagnetic conditions,the electron densities calculated by this model agree well with empirical observations and provide a good description of plasmapause movement.This MLED model,which can be easily incorporated into previously developed radiation belt models,promises to be very helpful in modeling and improving forecasting of radiation belt electron dynamics. 展开更多
