The ATP-binding cassette(ABC)transporter is a gene superfamily in plants.ATP-binding cassette subfamily C(ABCC)protein is a multidrug resistance-associated(MRP)transporter.They play various roles in plant growth, development, and secondary metabolite transport. However, there are few studies on ABCC transporters in tea plants. In this study,genome-wide association study(GWAS)analysis of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)content in 108 strains of Kingbird revealed that CsABCCs may be involved in EGCG transport. We identified 25 CsABCC genes at the genomic level of the tea plant, their phylogenetic tree, gene structure, targeted miRNA and other bioinformatics were analyzed. The expression patterns of CsABCCs in eight different tissues and abiotic stress indicate that they have potential roles in regulating the growth, development, and defense of tea plants. The correlation analysis revealed that the expression of the CsABCC11 gene was closely related to the EGCG content in tea buds of 108 strains of the Kingbird, and the subcellular localization experiments in tobacco showed that CsABCC11 protein was localized on the plasma membrane. The virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)strategy in tea plants further verified that CsABCC11 was involved in EGCG accumulation. Our study laid a foundation for studying the biological function of CsABCC and provided a new candidate molecular marker gene for further EGCG-related variety breeding, which will be of great interest to breeders. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of quick repositioning maneuver for horizontal semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (H-BPPV). Methods:Clinical data of 67 patients with H-BPPV who underwent quick repositioning maneuver in our hospital from July 2009 to November 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. The maneuver involved rotating the patient in the axial plane for 180? from the involved side towards contralateral side as quickly as possible. Results:Complete symptom resolution was achieved in 61 patients (91.0%) at one week and in 64 patients (95.5%) at 3 months post-treatment. During the repositioning maneuver process, there were no obvious untoward responses except transient nausea with or without vomiting in a few patients. Conclusion:The results indicate that the quick repositioning maneuver is an easy and effective alternative treatment in the management of H-BPPV. Copyright ? 2015 The Authors. Objective:To examine whether pharyngeal swallowing function is impaired in glo-bus patients with swallowing difficulty by dynamic swallowing study. Methods:Dynamic swallowing studies were performed on 80 normal adult volunteers and 33 globus patients with swallowing difficulty. Objective parameters such as maximum displace-ment of the hyoid bone, pharyngeal transit time, pharyngeal constriction ratio, and maximum opening of the esophageal entrance were measured, which were closely associated with the pharyngeal swallowing function in the swallowing process. Results:There were no significant differences between globus patients and normal adults in hyoid bone displacement, pharyngeal transit time, pharyngeal constriction ratio, or maximum opening of the esophageal entrance (p>0.05). Conclusion:The results of the dynamic swallowing study indicated that the pharyngeal swal-lowing function of globus patients was not impaired. 展开更多
