This study assessed the effect of N addition on soil microbial properties and soil organic matter distribution in a larch(Larix gmelinii) plantation. In a 9-year experiment in the plantation, N was applied at100 kg N ha-1 a-1 to study the effects on soil C and N mineralization, microbial biomass, enzyme activity, and C and N in soil organic matter density fractions, and organic matter chemistry. The results showed that N addition had no influence on C and N contents in whole soil. However,soil C in different fractions responded to N addition differently. Soil C in light fractions did not change with N addition, while soil C in heavy fractions increased significantly. These results suggested that more soil C in heavy fractions was stabilized in the N-treated soils. However,microbial biomass C and N and phenol oxidase activity decreased in the N-treated soils and thus soil C increased in heavy fractions. Although N addition reduced microbial biomass and phenol oxidase activity, it had little effect on soil C mineralization, hydrolytic enzyme activities, d13 C value in soil and C–H stretch, carboxylates and amides, and C–O stretch in soil organic matter chemistry measured by Fourier transform infrared spectra. We conclude that N addition(1) altered microbial biomass and activity without affecting soil C in light fractions and(2) resulted in an increase in soil C in heavy fractions and that this increase was controlled by phenol oxidase activity and soil N availability.展开更多
Objective:Mcl-1 overexpression confers acquired resistance to Bcl-2 inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),but no direct Mcl-1 inhibitor is currently available for clinical use.Thus,novel therapeutic strategi...Objective:Mcl-1 overexpression confers acquired resistance to Bcl-2 inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),but no direct Mcl-1 inhibitor is currently available for clinical use.Thus,novel therapeutic strategies are urgently needed to target Mcl-1 and sensitize the anti-NSCLC activity of Bcl-2 inhibitors.Methods:Cell proliferation was measured using sulforhodamine B and colony formation assays,and apoptosis was detected with Annexin V-FITC staining.Gene expression was manipulated using siRNAs and plasmids.Real-time PCR and Western blot were used to measure mRNA and protein levels.Immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence were used to analyze co-localization o f dual specificity tyrosine-phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A(DYRK1A)and Mcl-1.Results:Suppression of DYRK1A resulted in reduced Mcl-1 expression in NSCLC cells,whereas overexpression of DYRK1A significantly increased Mcl-1 expression.Suppression of DYRK1A did not alter Mcl-1 mRNA levels,but did result in an accelerated degradation o f Mcl-1 protein in NSCLC cells.Furthermore,DYRK1A mediated proteasome-dependent degradation o f Mcl-1 in NSCLC cells,and DYRK1A co-localized with Mcl-1 in NSCLC cells and was co-expressed with Mcl-1 in tumor samples from lung cancer patients,suggesting that Mcl-1 may be a novel DYRK1A substrate.We showed that combined therapy with harmine and Bcl-2 antagonists significantly inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis in NSCLC cell lines as well as primary NSCLC cells.Conclusions:Mcl-1 is a novel DYRK1A substrate,and the role of DYRK1A in promoting Mcl-1 stability makes it an attractive target for decreasing Bcl-2 inhibitor resistance.展开更多
The separation of ethylene glycol(EG)and 1,2-butanediol(1,2-BDO)azeotrope in the synthesis process of EG via coal and biomass is becoming of increasing commercial and environmental importance.Selective adsorption is d...The separation of ethylene glycol(EG)and 1,2-butanediol(1,2-BDO)azeotrope in the synthesis process of EG via coal and biomass is becoming of increasing commercial and environmental importance.Selective adsorption is deemed as the most promising methods because of energy saving and environment favorable.In this paper,NaY zeolite was used to separate 1,2-BDO from EG,and its adsorption properties was then investigated.The isotherms of EG and 1,2-BDO in vapor and liquid phases from 298 to 328 K indicated that they fitted Langmuir model quite well,and the NaY zeolite absorbent favored EG more than 1,2-BDO.The Grand Canonical Monte Carlo(GCMC)and molecular dynamics(MD)simulation techniques were conducted to investigate the competition adsorption and diffusion characteristics in different adsorption regions.It was observed that EG and 1,2-BDO molecules all have the most probable locations of the center of the 12-membered ring near the Na cations.The diffusivities of EG are lower than those of 1,2-BDO at the same adsorption concentration.At last,the breakthrough curves of the binary mixture regressed from the empirical Dose–Response model in fixed-bed column showed that the adsorption selectivity of EG could reach to as high as 2.43,verified that the NaY zeolite could effectively separate EG from 1,2-BDO.This work is also helpful for further separation of other dihydric alcohol mixtures from coal and biomass fermentation.展开更多

METHODS: Wild-type male BALB/c mice were treated with CCl4 to induce a model of chronic liver injury. Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) were isolated from the liver of BALB/c mice and were treated with small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) targeting Gadd45a or the pcDNA3.1-Gadd45a recombinant plasmid. Cellular alpha-smooth muscle actin (alpha-SMA), beta-actin, type I collagen, phospho-Smad2, phospho-Smad3, Smad2, Smad3, and Smad4 were detected by Western blots. The mRNA levels of alpha-SMA, beta-actin, and type I collagen were determined by quantitative real-time (qRT)-PCR analyses. Reactive oxygen species production was monitored by flow cytometry using 2,7-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate. Gadd45a, Gadd45b, anti-Gadd45g, type I collagen, and SMA local expression in liver tissue were measured by histologic and immunohistochemical analyses. RESULTS: Significant downregulation of Gadd45a, but not Gadd45b or Gadd45g, accompanied by activation of the TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathways was detected in fibrotic liver tissues of mice and isolated HSCs with chronic liver injury induced by CCl4 treatment. Overexpression of Gadd45a reduced the expression of extracellular matrix proteins and alpha-SMA in HSCs, whereas transient knockdown of Gadd45a with siRNA reversed this process. Gadd45a inhibited the activity of a plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 promoter construct and (CAGA)(9) MLP-Luc, an artificial Smad3/4-specific reporter, as well as reduced the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of Smad3. Gadd45a showed protective effects by scavenging reactive oxygen species and upregulating antioxidant enzymes. CONCLUSION: Gadd45a may counteract hepatic fibrosis by regulating the activation of HSCs via the inhibition of TGF-beta/Smad signaling.展开更多
In this study,nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) was prepared by thermal exfoliation of bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) under hydrogen.A series of Ru/g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) catalysts with Ru species supported on the nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_...In this study,nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) was prepared by thermal exfoliation of bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) under hydrogen.A series of Ru/g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) catalysts with Ru species supported on the nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) were synthesized via ultrasonic assisted impregnation-deposition method.Ultrafine Ru nanoparticles(<2 nm)were highly dispersed on nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2).Strong interaction due to Ru-Nx coordination facilitated the uniform distribution of Ru species.Meanwhile,the involvement of surface basicity derived from abundant nitrogen sites was favourable for enhancing the selective hydrogenation performance of bi-benzene ring,i.e.,almost complete 4,40-diaminodiphenylmethane(MDA)conversion and>99%4,40-diaminodicyclohexylmethane selectivity,corresponding to a reaction activity of 35.7 mol_(MDA) mol_(Ru)^(-1) h^(-1).Moreover,the reaction activity of catalyst in the fifth run was 36.5 mol_(MDA) mol_(Ru)^(-1) h^(-1),which was comparable with that of the fresh one.The computational results showed that g-C_(3)N_(4) as support was favorable for adsorption and dissociation of H_(2) molecules.Moreover,the substrate scope can be successfully expanded to a variety of other aromatic diamines.Therefore,this work provides an efficient and green catalyst system for selective hydrogenation of aromatic diamines.展开更多
The separation of light hydrocarbon mixtures(C_(1)–C_(3))generated from petrochemical industry is vital and challenging process for obtaining valuable pure chemical feedstocks.In comparison to the energy intensive co...The separation of light hydrocarbon mixtures(C_(1)–C_(3))generated from petrochemical industry is vital and challenging process for obtaining valuable pure chemical feedstocks.In comparison to the energy intensive conventional separation technologies(cryogenic distillation,absorption and hydrogenation),the adsorptive separation is considered as a low energy cost and high efficiency process.Porous carbons have been demonstrated as excellent adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons,owing to their designable structure and tailorable properties.This review summarizes the recent advances of using porous carbons as adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons,including methane/nitrogen,methane/alkane,methane/carbon dioxide,ethylene/ethane and propylene/propane.We discuss the separation mechanisms and highlight the material features including pore structure,surface chemistry and target molecular properties that determine the separation performance.Furthermore,the challenges and development direction associated with carbonaceous adsorbents for light hydrocarbon separation are discussed,meanwhile the guidelines for the design of porous carbons are proposed.展开更多

However, whether ...BACKGROUND: Our group previously reported that right-sided vagus nerve stimulation(RVNS) significantly improved outcomes after cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) in a rat model of cardiac arrest(CA). However, whether left-sided vagus nerve stimulation(LVNS) could achieve the same effect as RVNS in CPR outcomes remains unknown.METHODS: A rat model of CA was established using modified percutaneous epicardial electrical stimulation to induce ventricular fibrillation(VF). Rats were treated with LVNS or RVNS for 30 minutes before the induction of VF. All animals were observed closely within 72 hours after return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC), and their health and behavior were evaluated every 24 hours.RESULTS: Compared with those in the RVNS group, the hemodynamic measurements in the LVNS group decreased more notably. Vagus nerve stimulation(VNS) decreased the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and the arrhythmia score, and attenuated inflammatory infiltration in myocardial tissue after ROSC, regardless of the side of stimulation, compared with findings in the CPR group. Both LVNS and RVNS ameliorated myocardial function and increased the expression of α-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the myocardium after ROSC. Moreover, a clear improvement in 72-hour survival was shown with VNS pre-treatment, with no significant difference in efficacy when comparing the laterality of stimulation. CONCLUSIONS: LVNS may have similar effects as RVNS on improving outcomes after CPR.展开更多

METHODS: The case-control association analysis was used. The study included 100 independent myopia patients (-0.75 D <= spherical refraction <= -8.00 D) and 100 sex -matched healthy controls (with binocular spherical equivalent ranges between -0.50 D and +0.50 D). Four single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) tags (rs3976523, rs13098637, rs6762399 and rs7618348) were selected for genotyping by direct sequencing. The frequencies of genotypes and their alleles were calculated based on the number of SNP genotypes in each sample. The Chi-square test was used to examine the difference in the frequency between the myopia cases and controls. RESULTS: Genotype distributions in the four SNPs were all in accordance with the Hardy -Weinberg equilibrium; analysis showed that rs13098637 was significantly associated with low to moderate myopia (P=0.003 and empirical P=0.010). There were no statistically significant differences observed for the genotype or allele frequencies of the other three SNPs between the myopia cases and controls in the Chinese population in this study. CONCLUSION: The current study has revealed that the C allele of rs13098637 in MFN1 had a significant association with low to moderate myopia.展开更多
BACKGROUND: Our previous research proved that vagus nerve stimulation(VNS) improved the neurological outcome after cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) by activating α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor(α7nAChR) in a r...BACKGROUND: Our previous research proved that vagus nerve stimulation(VNS) improved the neurological outcome after cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) by activating α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor(α7nAChR) in a rat model, but the underlying mechanism of VNS in neuroprotection after CPR remains unclear.METHODS: In vivo, we established a mouse model of cardiac arrest(CA)/CPR to observe the survival rate, and the changes in inflammatory factors and brain tissue after VNS treatment. In vitro, we examined the effects of α7nAChR agonist on ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)-induced inflammation in BV2 cells under oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation(OGD/R) conditions. We observed the changes in cell survival rate, the levels of inflammatory factors, and the expressions of α7nAChR/Janus kinase 2(JAK2) and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB).RESULTS: In vivo, VNS preconditioning enhanced functional recovery, improved the survival rate, and reduced hippocampal CA1 cell damage, and the levels of inflammatory mediators after CA/CPR. The application of α7nAChR agonists provided similar effects against cerebral injury after the return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC), while α7nAChR antagonists reversed these neuroprotective impacts. The in vitro results mostly matched the findings in vivo. OGD/R increased the expression of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α), TLR4 and NF-κB p65. When nicotine was added to the OGD/R model, the expression of TLR4, NF-κB p65, and TNF-α decreased, while the phosphorylation of JAK2 increased, which was prevented by preconditioning with α7nAChR or JAK2 antagonists.CONCLUSION: The neuroprotective effect of VNS correlated with the activation of α7nAChR. VNS may alleviate cerebral IR injury by inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB and activating the α7nAChR/JAK2 signaling pathway.展开更多

In forest ecosystems,landslides are one of the most common natural disturbances,altering the physical,chemical and microbial characteristics of soil and thus further altering ecosystem properties and processes.Althoug...In forest ecosystems,landslides are one of the most common natural disturbances,altering the physical,chemical and microbial characteristics of soil and thus further altering ecosystem properties and processes.Although secondary forests comprise more than 50%of global forests,the influence of landslides on the soil properties in these forests is underappreciated.Therefore,this study investigates the influence of landslides on the chemical and microbial nature of the soil.Study of these modifications is critical,as it provides baseline evidence for subsequent forest revegetation.We selected four independent landslides and adjacent secondary forest stands as references in a temperate secondary forest in northeastern China.Soils were obtained from each stand at 0–10 cm and 10–20 cm depths to determine chemical and microbial properties.Soil total carbon(TC),total nitrogen(TN),nitrate(NO_(3)^(-)-N),available phosphorus(P),microbial biomass carbon(MBC),microbial biomass nitrogen(MBN),microbial biomass phosphorus(MBP)and phenol oxidase,exoglucanase,β-glucosidase,N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase,L-asparaginase and acid phosphatase activities were 29.3–70.1%lower at the 0–10 cm soil depth in the landslide sites than at the secondary forest sites,whereas total phosphorus(TP)and ammonium(NH_(4)^(+)-N)were unaffected by the landslides.N-related enzymes,N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase and L-asparaginase were reduced by more than 65%in the landslide sites,consistent with the decrease in nitrate concentration at the same 0–10 cm depth.At a depth of 10–20 cm,the variations in the soil properties were consistent with those at the 0–10 cm depth.The results demonstrated that soil chemical and microbial properties were significantly disrupted after the landslides,even though the landslides had occurred 6 years earlier.A long time is thus needed to restore the original C and nutrient levels.In temperate secondary forests,soil TC and TN contents were found to be more suitable for estimating the state of soil restoration than soil TP content.展开更多
Cross-document relation extraction(RE),as an extension of information extraction,requires integrating information from multiple documents retrieved from open domains with a large number of irrelevant or confusing nois...Cross-document relation extraction(RE),as an extension of information extraction,requires integrating information from multiple documents retrieved from open domains with a large number of irrelevant or confusing noisy texts.Previous studies focus on the attention mechanism to construct the connection between different text features through semantic similarity.However,similarity-based methods cannot distinguish valid information from highly similar retrieved documents well.How to design an effective algorithm to implement aggregated reasoning in confusing information with similar features still remains an open issue.To address this problem,we design a novel local-toglobal causal reasoning(LGCR)network for cross-document RE,which enables efficient distinguishing,filtering and global reasoning on complex information from a causal perspective.Specifically,we propose a local causal estimation algorithm to estimate the causal effect,which is the first trial to use the causal reasoning independent of feature similarity to distinguish between confusing and valid information in cross-document RE.Furthermore,based on the causal effect,we propose a causality guided global reasoning algorithm to filter the confusing information and achieve global reasoning.Experimental results under the closed and the open settings of the large-scale dataset Cod RED demonstrate our LGCR network significantly outperforms the state-ofthe-art methods and validate the effectiveness of causal reasoning in confusing information processing.展开更多
BACKGROUND:Targeted temperature management(TTM),as a therapeutic temperature control strategy for cardiac arrest(CA),is recommended by guidelines.However,the relationship between postrewarming fever(PRF)and the progno...BACKGROUND:Targeted temperature management(TTM),as a therapeutic temperature control strategy for cardiac arrest(CA),is recommended by guidelines.However,the relationship between postrewarming fever(PRF)and the prognosis of CA patients is unclear.Therefore,we aim to summarize the studies regarding the infl uence of PRF on patients with CA.METHODS:EMBASE,PubMed,and Cochrane Central databases were searched from inception to March 13,2022.Randomized clinical trials(RCTs)and cohort studies on PRF in CA patients were included.According to the heterogeneity,the meta-analysis was performed using a random eff ects model or fi xed eff ects model to calculate the pooled odds ratios(ORs)and corresponding 95%confi dence intervals(CIs).The outcome data were unfavorable neurological outcome and mortality.RESULTS:The meta-analysis included 11 observational studies involving 3,246 patients.The results of the meta-analysis show that PRF(body temperature>38.0℃)has no eff ect on the neurological outcome of CA patients(OR 0.71,95%CI 0.43–1.17,I282%)and has a signifi cant relationship with lower mortality(OR 0.63;95%CI 0.49–0.80,I239%).However,PRF with a stricter defi nition(body temperature>38.5℃)was associated with worse neurological outcome(OR 1.44,95%CI 1.08–1.92,I245%)and higher mortality(OR 1.71,95%CI 1.25–2.35,I247%).CONCLUSION:This study suggests that PRF>38.0℃ may not affect the neurological outcome and have a lower mortality in CA patients who completed TTM.However,PRF>38.5℃ is a potential prognostic factor for worse outcomes in CA patients.展开更多

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of plastic surgery of asymmetric double eyelid.Methods:The clinical data of 70 patients with asymmetrical double eyelid who underwent plastic surgery in our hospital from Apr...Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of plastic surgery of asymmetric double eyelid.Methods:The clinical data of 70 patients with asymmetrical double eyelid who underwent plastic surgery in our hospital from April 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into different groups based on different plastic surgery procedures.The control group(n=35 cases)were the patients who underwent double eyelid incision method,and the patients who used embedding double eyelid method were included in the observation group(n=35 cases).The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,incision size,healing time of incision,satisfaction of p1astic surgery and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time and incision healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group.The intraoperative blood 1oss and incision were less than those of the control group,and the satisfaction was higher than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was slightly lower than the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:For asymmetric double eyelid,it should undergo embedding double eyelid plastic surgery,because the operation time and incision healing time are shorter.And intraoperative blood 1oss and incision size are smal1er,which can improve patient satisfaction and reduce the incidence of complications.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the effect of vault on conjunctiva combined with fascia sheath suspension on the mobility and aesthetics of eyelid in patients with ptosis.Methods:A total of 80 patients with ptosis who were a...Objective:To investigate the effect of vault on conjunctiva combined with fascia sheath suspension on the mobility and aesthetics of eyelid in patients with ptosis.Methods:A total of 80 patients with ptosis who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the subjects.They were divided into 2 groups with random number table method,40 cases each.The control group was treated with modified single-incision frontalis fascia flap suspension,and the observation group was treated with vault on conjunctiva combined with fascia sheath suspension.The eyelid margin activity,aesthetics and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The eyelid margin activity of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the aesthetic satisfaction of the observation group after treatment was 95.00%(38/40)higher than that of the control group 70.00%(28/40)The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%(1/40)lower than that in the control group 20.00%(8/40),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with ptosis are treated with superior conjunctival fornix combined with fascia sheath suspension,which can improve the mobility of eyelid margin,and it is more beautiful and has less complications.展开更多

文摘Continuous increases in anthropogenic nitrogen(N) deposition are likely to change soil microbial properties, and ultimately to affect soil carbon(C) storage.Temperate plantation forests play key roles in C sequestration, yet mechanisms underlying the influences of N deposition on soil organic matter accumulation are poorly understood. This study assessed the effect of N addition on soil microbial properties and soil organic matter distribution in a larch(Larix gmelinii) plantation. In a 9-year experiment in the plantation, N was applied at100 kg N ha-1 a-1 to study the effects on soil C and N mineralization, microbial biomass, enzyme activity, and C and N in soil organic matter density fractions, and organic matter chemistry. The results showed that N addition had no influence on C and N contents in whole soil. However,soil C in different fractions responded to N addition differently. Soil C in light fractions did not change with N addition, while soil C in heavy fractions increased significantly. These results suggested that more soil C in heavy fractions was stabilized in the N-treated soils. However,microbial biomass C and N and phenol oxidase activity decreased in the N-treated soils and thus soil C increased in heavy fractions. Although N addition reduced microbial biomass and phenol oxidase activity, it had little effect on soil C mineralization, hydrolytic enzyme activities, d13 C value in soil and C–H stretch, carboxylates and amides, and C–O stretch in soil organic matter chemistry measured by Fourier transform infrared spectra. We conclude that N addition(1) altered microbial biomass and activity without affecting soil C in light fractions and(2) resulted in an increase in soil C in heavy fractions and that this increase was controlled by phenol oxidase activity and soil N availability.

文摘Objective:Mcl-1 overexpression confers acquired resistance to Bcl-2 inhibitors in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),but no direct Mcl-1 inhibitor is currently available for clinical use.Thus,novel therapeutic strategies are urgently needed to target Mcl-1 and sensitize the anti-NSCLC activity of Bcl-2 inhibitors.Methods:Cell proliferation was measured using sulforhodamine B and colony formation assays,and apoptosis was detected with Annexin V-FITC staining.Gene expression was manipulated using siRNAs and plasmids.Real-time PCR and Western blot were used to measure mRNA and protein levels.Immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence were used to analyze co-localization o f dual specificity tyrosine-phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A(DYRK1A)and Mcl-1.Results:Suppression of DYRK1A resulted in reduced Mcl-1 expression in NSCLC cells,whereas overexpression of DYRK1A significantly increased Mcl-1 expression.Suppression of DYRK1A did not alter Mcl-1 mRNA levels,but did result in an accelerated degradation o f Mcl-1 protein in NSCLC cells.Furthermore,DYRK1A mediated proteasome-dependent degradation o f Mcl-1 in NSCLC cells,and DYRK1A co-localized with Mcl-1 in NSCLC cells and was co-expressed with Mcl-1 in tumor samples from lung cancer patients,suggesting that Mcl-1 may be a novel DYRK1A substrate.We showed that combined therapy with harmine and Bcl-2 antagonists significantly inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis in NSCLC cell lines as well as primary NSCLC cells.Conclusions:Mcl-1 is a novel DYRK1A substrate,and the role of DYRK1A in promoting Mcl-1 stability makes it an attractive target for decreasing Bcl-2 inhibitor resistance.

文摘The separation of ethylene glycol(EG)and 1,2-butanediol(1,2-BDO)azeotrope in the synthesis process of EG via coal and biomass is becoming of increasing commercial and environmental importance.Selective adsorption is deemed as the most promising methods because of energy saving and environment favorable.In this paper,NaY zeolite was used to separate 1,2-BDO from EG,and its adsorption properties was then investigated.The isotherms of EG and 1,2-BDO in vapor and liquid phases from 298 to 328 K indicated that they fitted Langmuir model quite well,and the NaY zeolite absorbent favored EG more than 1,2-BDO.The Grand Canonical Monte Carlo(GCMC)and molecular dynamics(MD)simulation techniques were conducted to investigate the competition adsorption and diffusion characteristics in different adsorption regions.It was observed that EG and 1,2-BDO molecules all have the most probable locations of the center of the 12-membered ring near the Na cations.The diffusivities of EG are lower than those of 1,2-BDO at the same adsorption concentration.At last,the breakthrough curves of the binary mixture regressed from the empirical Dose–Response model in fixed-bed column showed that the adsorption selectivity of EG could reach to as high as 2.43,verified that the NaY zeolite could effectively separate EG from 1,2-BDO.This work is also helpful for further separation of other dihydric alcohol mixtures from coal and biomass fermentation.

文摘AIM: To investigate the role of Gadd45a in hepatic fibrosis and the transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta/ Smad signaling pathway. METHODS: Wild-type male BALB/c mice were treated with CCl4 to induce a model of chronic liver injury. Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) were isolated from the liver of BALB/c mice and were treated with small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) targeting Gadd45a or the pcDNA3.1-Gadd45a recombinant plasmid. Cellular alpha-smooth muscle actin (alpha-SMA), beta-actin, type I collagen, phospho-Smad2, phospho-Smad3, Smad2, Smad3, and Smad4 were detected by Western blots. The mRNA levels of alpha-SMA, beta-actin, and type I collagen were determined by quantitative real-time (qRT)-PCR analyses. Reactive oxygen species production was monitored by flow cytometry using 2,7-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate. Gadd45a, Gadd45b, anti-Gadd45g, type I collagen, and SMA local expression in liver tissue were measured by histologic and immunohistochemical analyses. RESULTS: Significant downregulation of Gadd45a, but not Gadd45b or Gadd45g, accompanied by activation of the TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathways was detected in fibrotic liver tissues of mice and isolated HSCs with chronic liver injury induced by CCl4 treatment. Overexpression of Gadd45a reduced the expression of extracellular matrix proteins and alpha-SMA in HSCs, whereas transient knockdown of Gadd45a with siRNA reversed this process. Gadd45a inhibited the activity of a plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 promoter construct and (CAGA)(9) MLP-Luc, an artificial Smad3/4-specific reporter, as well as reduced the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of Smad3. Gadd45a showed protective effects by scavenging reactive oxygen species and upregulating antioxidant enzymes. CONCLUSION: Gadd45a may counteract hepatic fibrosis by regulating the activation of HSCs via the inhibition of TGF-beta/Smad signaling.

文摘In this study,nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) was prepared by thermal exfoliation of bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) under hydrogen.A series of Ru/g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) catalysts with Ru species supported on the nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2) were synthesized via ultrasonic assisted impregnation-deposition method.Ultrafine Ru nanoparticles(<2 nm)were highly dispersed on nanosheet g-C_(3)N_(4)-H_(2).Strong interaction due to Ru-Nx coordination facilitated the uniform distribution of Ru species.Meanwhile,the involvement of surface basicity derived from abundant nitrogen sites was favourable for enhancing the selective hydrogenation performance of bi-benzene ring,i.e.,almost complete 4,40-diaminodiphenylmethane(MDA)conversion and>99%4,40-diaminodicyclohexylmethane selectivity,corresponding to a reaction activity of 35.7 mol_(MDA) mol_(Ru)^(-1) h^(-1).Moreover,the reaction activity of catalyst in the fifth run was 36.5 mol_(MDA) mol_(Ru)^(-1) h^(-1),which was comparable with that of the fresh one.The computational results showed that g-C_(3)N_(4) as support was favorable for adsorption and dissociation of H_(2) molecules.Moreover,the substrate scope can be successfully expanded to a variety of other aromatic diamines.Therefore,this work provides an efficient and green catalyst system for selective hydrogenation of aromatic diamines.

文摘The separation of light hydrocarbon mixtures(C_(1)–C_(3))generated from petrochemical industry is vital and challenging process for obtaining valuable pure chemical feedstocks.In comparison to the energy intensive conventional separation technologies(cryogenic distillation,absorption and hydrogenation),the adsorptive separation is considered as a low energy cost and high efficiency process.Porous carbons have been demonstrated as excellent adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons,owing to their designable structure and tailorable properties.This review summarizes the recent advances of using porous carbons as adsorbents for the separation of light hydrocarbons,including methane/nitrogen,methane/alkane,methane/carbon dioxide,ethylene/ethane and propylene/propane.We discuss the separation mechanisms and highlight the material features including pore structure,surface chemistry and target molecular properties that determine the separation performance.Furthermore,the challenges and development direction associated with carbonaceous adsorbents for light hydrocarbon separation are discussed,meanwhile the guidelines for the design of porous carbons are proposed.

文摘BACKGROUND: Our group previously reported that right-sided vagus nerve stimulation(RVNS) significantly improved outcomes after cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) in a rat model of cardiac arrest(CA). However, whether left-sided vagus nerve stimulation(LVNS) could achieve the same effect as RVNS in CPR outcomes remains unknown.METHODS: A rat model of CA was established using modified percutaneous epicardial electrical stimulation to induce ventricular fibrillation(VF). Rats were treated with LVNS or RVNS for 30 minutes before the induction of VF. All animals were observed closely within 72 hours after return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC), and their health and behavior were evaluated every 24 hours.RESULTS: Compared with those in the RVNS group, the hemodynamic measurements in the LVNS group decreased more notably. Vagus nerve stimulation(VNS) decreased the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and the arrhythmia score, and attenuated inflammatory infiltration in myocardial tissue after ROSC, regardless of the side of stimulation, compared with findings in the CPR group. Both LVNS and RVNS ameliorated myocardial function and increased the expression of α-7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the myocardium after ROSC. Moreover, a clear improvement in 72-hour survival was shown with VNS pre-treatment, with no significant difference in efficacy when comparing the laterality of stimulation. CONCLUSIONS: LVNS may have similar effects as RVNS on improving outcomes after CPR.

文摘AIM: To explore whether genetic variations in the MFN1 gene are associated with low to moderate myopia in Chinese population. METHODS: The case-control association analysis was used. The study included 100 independent myopia patients (-0.75 D <= spherical refraction <= -8.00 D) and 100 sex -matched healthy controls (with binocular spherical equivalent ranges between -0.50 D and +0.50 D). Four single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) tags (rs3976523, rs13098637, rs6762399 and rs7618348) were selected for genotyping by direct sequencing. The frequencies of genotypes and their alleles were calculated based on the number of SNP genotypes in each sample. The Chi-square test was used to examine the difference in the frequency between the myopia cases and controls. RESULTS: Genotype distributions in the four SNPs were all in accordance with the Hardy -Weinberg equilibrium; analysis showed that rs13098637 was significantly associated with low to moderate myopia (P=0.003 and empirical P=0.010). There were no statistically significant differences observed for the genotype or allele frequencies of the other three SNPs between the myopia cases and controls in the Chinese population in this study. CONCLUSION: The current study has revealed that the C allele of rs13098637 in MFN1 had a significant association with low to moderate myopia.

文摘BACKGROUND: Our previous research proved that vagus nerve stimulation(VNS) improved the neurological outcome after cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) by activating α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor(α7nAChR) in a rat model, but the underlying mechanism of VNS in neuroprotection after CPR remains unclear.METHODS: In vivo, we established a mouse model of cardiac arrest(CA)/CPR to observe the survival rate, and the changes in inflammatory factors and brain tissue after VNS treatment. In vitro, we examined the effects of α7nAChR agonist on ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)-induced inflammation in BV2 cells under oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation(OGD/R) conditions. We observed the changes in cell survival rate, the levels of inflammatory factors, and the expressions of α7nAChR/Janus kinase 2(JAK2) and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB).RESULTS: In vivo, VNS preconditioning enhanced functional recovery, improved the survival rate, and reduced hippocampal CA1 cell damage, and the levels of inflammatory mediators after CA/CPR. The application of α7nAChR agonists provided similar effects against cerebral injury after the return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC), while α7nAChR antagonists reversed these neuroprotective impacts. The in vitro results mostly matched the findings in vivo. OGD/R increased the expression of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α), TLR4 and NF-κB p65. When nicotine was added to the OGD/R model, the expression of TLR4, NF-κB p65, and TNF-α decreased, while the phosphorylation of JAK2 increased, which was prevented by preconditioning with α7nAChR or JAK2 antagonists.CONCLUSION: The neuroprotective effect of VNS correlated with the activation of α7nAChR. VNS may alleviate cerebral IR injury by inhibiting TLR4/NF-κB and activating the α7nAChR/JAK2 signaling pathway.

文摘Background:We investigated the determination of the pledged loan-to-value ratio in an optionpricing environment and mainly articulated the theoretical framework and analytical method.Methods:The basic idea is that the present value of the pledged loan payoff is equal to a put option’s value.While the interest rate is fixed and the loan is without coupon,we analyzed the pledged loan-to-value ratioin the option pricing perspective and got it that the pledged loan-to-value ratio is decided by term,excessreturn,and the value volatility of the pledge.Next,we extended the same work to coupon loan and portfoliopledge circumstances.For zero coupon and fixed interest rate circumstances,we performed a numericalanalysis.Results:Our results indicate the following:the pledged loan-to-value ratio is a convex decreasing function ofthe term;and the pledged loan-to-value ratio is a concave decreasing function of the value volatility of the pledge;and the pledged loan-to-value ratio is a concave increasing function of the risk premium.For floating interest rate circumstances,we should specify the function form between the loan interest and the risk-free rate.Conclusions:The scientific measurement of the pledged loan-to-value ratio means that simple rules of thumb or the VaR method may lead to mispricing,which could create the possibility of arbitrage.In this way,a new direction for trading derivative products of pledges will be provided.

文摘In forest ecosystems,landslides are one of the most common natural disturbances,altering the physical,chemical and microbial characteristics of soil and thus further altering ecosystem properties and processes.Although secondary forests comprise more than 50%of global forests,the influence of landslides on the soil properties in these forests is underappreciated.Therefore,this study investigates the influence of landslides on the chemical and microbial nature of the soil.Study of these modifications is critical,as it provides baseline evidence for subsequent forest revegetation.We selected four independent landslides and adjacent secondary forest stands as references in a temperate secondary forest in northeastern China.Soils were obtained from each stand at 0–10 cm and 10–20 cm depths to determine chemical and microbial properties.Soil total carbon(TC),total nitrogen(TN),nitrate(NO_(3)^(-)-N),available phosphorus(P),microbial biomass carbon(MBC),microbial biomass nitrogen(MBN),microbial biomass phosphorus(MBP)and phenol oxidase,exoglucanase,β-glucosidase,N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase,L-asparaginase and acid phosphatase activities were 29.3–70.1%lower at the 0–10 cm soil depth in the landslide sites than at the secondary forest sites,whereas total phosphorus(TP)and ammonium(NH_(4)^(+)-N)were unaffected by the landslides.N-related enzymes,N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase and L-asparaginase were reduced by more than 65%in the landslide sites,consistent with the decrease in nitrate concentration at the same 0–10 cm depth.At a depth of 10–20 cm,the variations in the soil properties were consistent with those at the 0–10 cm depth.The results demonstrated that soil chemical and microbial properties were significantly disrupted after the landslides,even though the landslides had occurred 6 years earlier.A long time is thus needed to restore the original C and nutrient levels.In temperate secondary forests,soil TC and TN contents were found to be more suitable for estimating the state of soil restoration than soil TP content.

文摘Cross-document relation extraction(RE),as an extension of information extraction,requires integrating information from multiple documents retrieved from open domains with a large number of irrelevant or confusing noisy texts.Previous studies focus on the attention mechanism to construct the connection between different text features through semantic similarity.However,similarity-based methods cannot distinguish valid information from highly similar retrieved documents well.How to design an effective algorithm to implement aggregated reasoning in confusing information with similar features still remains an open issue.To address this problem,we design a novel local-toglobal causal reasoning(LGCR)network for cross-document RE,which enables efficient distinguishing,filtering and global reasoning on complex information from a causal perspective.Specifically,we propose a local causal estimation algorithm to estimate the causal effect,which is the first trial to use the causal reasoning independent of feature similarity to distinguish between confusing and valid information in cross-document RE.Furthermore,based on the causal effect,we propose a causality guided global reasoning algorithm to filter the confusing information and achieve global reasoning.Experimental results under the closed and the open settings of the large-scale dataset Cod RED demonstrate our LGCR network significantly outperforms the state-ofthe-art methods and validate the effectiveness of causal reasoning in confusing information processing.

文摘BACKGROUND:Targeted temperature management(TTM),as a therapeutic temperature control strategy for cardiac arrest(CA),is recommended by guidelines.However,the relationship between postrewarming fever(PRF)and the prognosis of CA patients is unclear.Therefore,we aim to summarize the studies regarding the infl uence of PRF on patients with CA.METHODS:EMBASE,PubMed,and Cochrane Central databases were searched from inception to March 13,2022.Randomized clinical trials(RCTs)and cohort studies on PRF in CA patients were included.According to the heterogeneity,the meta-analysis was performed using a random eff ects model or fi xed eff ects model to calculate the pooled odds ratios(ORs)and corresponding 95%confi dence intervals(CIs).The outcome data were unfavorable neurological outcome and mortality.RESULTS:The meta-analysis included 11 observational studies involving 3,246 patients.The results of the meta-analysis show that PRF(body temperature>38.0℃)has no eff ect on the neurological outcome of CA patients(OR 0.71,95%CI 0.43–1.17,I282%)and has a signifi cant relationship with lower mortality(OR 0.63;95%CI 0.49–0.80,I239%).However,PRF with a stricter defi nition(body temperature>38.5℃)was associated with worse neurological outcome(OR 1.44,95%CI 1.08–1.92,I245%)and higher mortality(OR 1.71,95%CI 1.25–2.35,I247%).CONCLUSION:This study suggests that PRF>38.0℃ may not affect the neurological outcome and have a lower mortality in CA patients who completed TTM.However,PRF>38.5℃ is a potential prognostic factor for worse outcomes in CA patients.

文摘Banxia Xiexin Decoction(BXXXD),a traditional herbal formula,has been used to treat ulcerative colitis(UC)clinically.In this study,chemical compounds and putative targets of BXXXD and UC related therapeutic targets were screened from multiple databases.The protein-protein interaction(PPI)was conducted using String database,and 31 candidate targets were screened from CytoNCA database.The Database for Annotation,Visualization and Integrated Discovery(DAVID)and Metascape database were used for Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)channel and Gene Ontology(GO)enrichment analysis respectively,and the enrichment analysis results were visualized by OmicShare platform.Meanwhile,the interaction network among Chinese herbs,active compounds,candidate targets and pathways was built by Cytoscape 3.7.2 software,and the potential compounds of BXXXD in the treatment of UC were screened.Finally,molecular docking technology was used to verify the putative key compounds.Combined with literature research,5 key compounds for the treatment of UC were identified,which are mainly involved in TNF signaling pathway,cancer signaling pathway,inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),Toll-like receptor signaling pathway,and NF-κB signaling pathway.This study provides a scientific basis for BXXXD as an effective alternative therapeutic agent for UC from a new perspective,and also provides a feasible method for basic chemical research and pharmacological research of BXXXD.
文摘Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of plastic surgery of asymmetric double eyelid.Methods:The clinical data of 70 patients with asymmetrical double eyelid who underwent plastic surgery in our hospital from April 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into different groups based on different plastic surgery procedures.The control group(n=35 cases)were the patients who underwent double eyelid incision method,and the patients who used embedding double eyelid method were included in the observation group(n=35 cases).The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,incision size,healing time of incision,satisfaction of p1astic surgery and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time and incision healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group.The intraoperative blood 1oss and incision were less than those of the control group,and the satisfaction was higher than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was slightly lower than the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:For asymmetric double eyelid,it should undergo embedding double eyelid plastic surgery,because the operation time and incision healing time are shorter.And intraoperative blood 1oss and incision size are smal1er,which can improve patient satisfaction and reduce the incidence of complications.
文摘Objective:To investigate the effect of vault on conjunctiva combined with fascia sheath suspension on the mobility and aesthetics of eyelid in patients with ptosis.Methods:A total of 80 patients with ptosis who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected as the subjects.They were divided into 2 groups with random number table method,40 cases each.The control group was treated with modified single-incision frontalis fascia flap suspension,and the observation group was treated with vault on conjunctiva combined with fascia sheath suspension.The eyelid margin activity,aesthetics and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The eyelid margin activity of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the aesthetic satisfaction of the observation group after treatment was 95.00%(38/40)higher than that of the control group 70.00%(28/40)The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%(1/40)lower than that in the control group 20.00%(8/40),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with ptosis are treated with superior conjunctival fornix combined with fascia sheath suspension,which can improve the mobility of eyelid margin,and it is more beautiful and has less complications.
