Due to the rapid advancement of the transportation industry and the continual increase in pavement infrastructure,it is difficult to keep up with the huge road maintenance task by relying only on the traditional manual detection method.Intelligent pavement detection technology with deep learning techniques is available for the research and industry areas by the gradual development of computer vision technology.Due to the different characteristics of pavement distress and the uncertainty of the external environment,this kind of object detection technology for distress classification and location still faces great challenges.This paper discusses the development of object detection technology and analyzes classical convolutional neural network(CNN)architecture.In addition to the one-stage and two-stage object detection frameworks,object detection without anchor frames is introduced,which is divided according to whether the anchor box is used or not.This paper also introduces attention mechanisms based on convolutional neural networks and emphasizes the performance of these mechanisms to further enhance the accuracy of object recognition.Lightweight network architecture is introduced for mobile and industrial deployment.Since stereo cameras and sensors are rapidly developed,a detailed summary of three-dimensional object detection algorithms is also provided.While reviewing the history of the development of object detection,the scope of this review is not only limited to the area of pavement crack detection but also guidance for researchers in related fields is shared. 展开更多

Comprehensive treatment of acute-on-chronic liver failure in a patient with hepatitis B: a case report

The patient has suffered from hepatitis B for 30 years. His liver function deteriorated, yielding Child-Pugh grade C and reaching a model for end-stage liver disease score of 33 points within a short period; this condition was complicated with highly active variceal bleeding and coagulation system failure (PT 〉 100 s). The patient also presented hepatocellular carcinoma. Comprehensive treatments included effective inhibition of hepatitis B virus replication and intensive care support. Piggyback orthotopic liver transplantation was performed as the final treatment. The patient recovered uneventfully and was discharged after surgery. 展开更多

Fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)evaluation is essential for initial risk stratification in multiple myeloma(MM).The presence of specific cytogenetic abnormalities(CA)confers a heterogeneity impact on prognosis.However,the cutoff values among different centers are not uniform.Therefore,we conduct this study to better predict the prognosis of newly diagnosed MM patients based on FISH results.The Kaps method was used to calculate the chromosomal abnormal cutoff values.A total of 533 participants were included in the study.The best cutoff value of overall survival were as follows:17p20.1%,13q85%,1q21+39%,t(11;14)55.5%,t(14;16)87%,and t(4;14)53.5%.The survival analysis showed that 17pand 1q21+were the independent factors affecting both OS and progress free survival(PFS)among CA.The analysis based on the cutoff value obtained by Kaps suggested that 13q,t(14;16),17p,and 1q21+were independent factors affecting OS among CA;t(14;16),17p,and 1q21+were independent factors affecting PFS among CA.The prognostic model was constructed by the Kaps method with the Harrell concordance index(c-index)at 0.719(95%CI,0.683–0.756;corrected 0.707),which was higher than that calculated by the European Myeloma Network criteria(0.714;95%CI,0.678–0.751;corrected 0.696).In conclusion,chromosomal abnormalities in different proportions and combinations can affect the prognosis ofMMpatients.Therefore,effective criteria should be formulated to evaluate the prognosis ofMMpatients better. 展开更多
