This study sought to elucidate the genetic correlation of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis caused by a hereditary antithrombin deficiency in a Chinese family, at the genetic and protein levels. A nonsense mutation from C to T on locus 6431 in exon 3B of the antithrombin gene was observed, leading to an arginine (CGA) to stop codon (TGA) change in the protein. This is the first report of this mutation in China. Ineffective heparin therapy in the propositus patient is associated with a lack of heparin binding sites after antithrombin gene mutation. Characteristic low intracranial pressure in the acute phase might be specific to this patient with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of kyphoplasty in the treatment of multiple osteoporotic vertebral fractures in the elderly.Methods:The duration of the study was selected from January 2018 to December 2020,and 38 patients with multiple osteoporotic spinal fractures were selected for study evaluation.All patients were treated with kyphoplasty.The clinical indicators of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:The total effective rate was 94.7%and the complication rate was 5.3%.The height of midline,anterior and posterior vertebral body,Cobb angle,VAS score,ODI score and ADL score of 38 patients before and after treatment were compared,which were significantly better than those before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of kyphoplasty in the treatment of elderly patients with multiple osteoporosis is significant,which can be promoted in all levels of medical institutions. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of posterior internal fixation and fusion in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures.Methods:36 patients with thoracolumbar fractures from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into study group and control group according to the random number table model.The control group was treated with anterior internal fixation,while the study group was treated with posterior internal fixation and fusion.The indexes of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:Compared with the operation related indexes of the two groups,the study group had more advantages(P<0.05);The postoperative kyphosis Cobb angle,height of anterior and posterior vertebral body,wedge index of the two groups were better than those before operation(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of posterior internal fixation and fusion in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures is significant,and the body damage is slight,which is worthy of comprehensive promotion. 展开更多

Objective:Objective to explore the curative effect of transforaminal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:From October 2018 to October 2020,36 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into group A and group B.the curative effect,pain,lumbar function and quality of life were analyzed.Results:The curative effect of group A was 94.44%,better than that of group B 61.11%,P<0.05;The visual analogue scale(VAS)of group A was lower than that of group B on 3D,5D and 7d after operation(P<0.05);The KSS of group A was higher than that of group B(P<0.05);The score of quality of life in group A was better than that in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:Lumbar disc herniation patients underwent transforaminal endoscopic surgery,the effect is good,can improve lumbar function,relieve pain,improve the quality of life of patients. 展开更多

The dissociative chemisorption of N_(2) is the rate-limiting step for ammonia synthesis in industry.Here,we investigated the role of initially vibrational excitation and ro-tational excitation of N_(2) for its reactivity on the Fe(111)surface,based on a recently developed six-dimensional potential energy surface.Six-dimensional quantum dynamics study was carried out to investi-gate the effect of vibrational excitation for incidence energy below 1.6 eV,due to sig-nificant quantum effects for this reaction.The effects of vibrational and rotational excitations at high incidence energies were revealed by quasiclassical trajectory calculations.We found that raising the translational energy can enhance the dissociation probability to some extent,however,the vibrational excitation or rotational excitation can promote disso-ciation more efficiently than the same amount of translational energy.This study provides valuable insight into the mode-specific dynamics of this heavy diatom-surface reaction. 展开更多

Objective:To study and evaluate the incidence of pain and complications in patients with spinal trauma after minimally invasive treatment.Methods:The research period was selected from January 2018 to December 2020,and 40 patients with spinal trauma were selected.According to the random number table scheme,they were divided into the study group and the control group.The treatment scheme of the control group was traditional surgery,and the treatment scheme of the study group was minimally invasive surgery.The indicators of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:Compared with the two groups of surgery and postoperative recovery related indicators,the study group had more advantages(P<0.05);Compared two groups of postoperative NRS score,VAS score and the incidence of complications,the study group had more advantages(P<0.05).Conclusion:Minimally invasive treatment of spinal trauma has significant clinical effect,which can effectively relieve postoperative pain and reduce the incidence of various complications. 展开更多

Objective:To analyze the effect of posterior V-osteotomy in the treatment of traumatic kyphosis.Methods:From August 2018 to August 2020,40 patients with kyphosis were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Results:The postoperative Cobb angle of the observation group was(8.29±1.24)°better than that of the control group(15.68±2.73)°,P<0.05;The preoperative Cobb angle of the observation group was(49.78±4.15)°compared with that of the control group(50.11±4.23)°,P>0.05;The incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence rate in the observation group were 5.00%and 5.00%respectively,which were lower than 25.00%and 30.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Posterior V-osteotomy for traumatic kyphosis can improve Cobb angle,reduce the risk of postoperative complications and recurrence,which is safe and feasible. 展开更多

Coinfusion of unrelated cord blood(UCB)units in haploidentical hematopoietic cell transplantation(haplo-HCT)(haplo-cord HCT)for hematopoietic malignancies showed promising results in previous reports,but the efficiency of haplo-cord HCT in acute myeloid leukemia(AML)still lacks sufficient evidence.This multicenter,randomized,phase 3 trial(ClinicalTrials.gov NCT03719534)aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of haplo-cord HCT in AML patients.A total of 268 eligible patients aged 18-60 years,diagnosed with measurable residual disease in AML(excluding acute promyelocytic leukemia),with available haploidentical donors and suitable for allotransplantation,were randomly allocated(1:1)to receive haplo-cord HCT(n=134)or haplo-HCT(n=134).The 3-year overall survival(OS)was the primary endpoint in this study.Overall median follow-up was 36.50 months(IQR 24.75-46.50).The 3-year OS of Haplo-cord HCT group was better than haplo-HCT group(80.5%,95%confidence interval[CI]:73.7-87.9 vs.67.8%95%CI 60.0-76.5,p=0.013).Favorable progression-free survival(70.3%,95%CI 62.6-78.8 vs.57.6%,95%CI 49.6-67.0,p=0.012)and cumulative incidence of relapse(12.1%,95%CI 12.0-12.2 vs.30.3%,95%CI 30.1-30.4,p=0.024)were observed in haplo-cord HCT group.Grade 3-4 adverse events(AEs)within two years posttransplantation in the two groups were similar.Haplo-cord HCT patients exhibited a faster cumulative incidence of neutrophil recovery(p=0.026)and increased T-cell reconstitution in the early period posttransplantation.Haplo-cord HCT can improve OS in AML patients without excessive AEs,which may exert additional benefits for recipients of haplo-HCT. 展开更多

Background and Aims:Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1(TIMP-1)plays a role in the excessive generation of extracellular matrix in liver fibrosis.This study aimed to explore the pathways through which TIMP-1 controls monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)expression and promotes hepatic macrophage recruitment.Methods:Liver fibrosis was triggered through carbon tetrachloride,and an adenoassociated virus containing small interfering RNA targeting TIMP-1(siRNA-TIMP-1)was administered to both rats and mice.We assessed the extent of fibrosis and macrophage recruitment.The molecular mechanisms regulating macrophage recruitment by TIMP-1 were investigated through transwell migration assays,luciferase reporter assays,the use of pharmacological modulators,and an analysis of extracellular vesicles(EVs).Results:siRNA-TIMP-1 alleviated carbon tetrachloride-induced liver fibrosis,reducing macrophage migration and MCP-1 expression.Co-culturing macrophages with hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)post-TIMP-1 downregulation inhibited macrophage migration.In siRNATIMP-1-treated HSCs,microRNA-145(miRNA-145)expression increased,while the expression of Friend leukemia virus integration-1(Fli-1)and MCP-1 was inhibited.Downregulation of Fli-1 led to decreased MCP-1 expression,whereas Fli-1 overexpression increased MCP-1 expression within HSCs.Transfection with miRNA-145 mimics reduced the expression of both Fli-1 and MCP-1,while miRNA-145 inhibitors elevated the expression of both Fli-1 and MCP-1 in HSCs.miRNA-145 bound directly to the 3'-UTR of Fli-1,and mi RNA-145-EN-riched EVs secreted by HSCs after TIMP-1 downregulation influenced macrophage recruitment.Conclusions:TIMP-1 induces Fli-1 expression through miRNA-145,subsequently increasing MCP-1 expression and macrophage recruitment.MiRNA-145-enriched EVs from HSCs can transmit biological information and magnify the function of TIMP-1. 展开更多

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)present unique properties determined by their chiral structure.The main hurdle towards the wide applications is the difficulty to control the structure of CNTs and their hybrids that determines the properties.Precise synthesis with well-defined templates is a promising approach to control the identical structure of carbon nanomaterials.In this review,we summarize main achievements on controlled synthesis of CNTs and hybrids on two aspects:chirality-specific growth of CNTs from well-defined catalysts and nanocarbon templates,atomically precise synthesis of one-dimensional(ID)materials with the templates of CNTs.In the chirality-controlled growth part,we focus on the design of structural templates and growth mechanisms.In the synthesis of CNT hybrids part,we organize the existing strategies based on types of ID hybrids templated by CNTs,including confined nanotubes,linear carbon chains,nanowires,quasi-ID van der-Waals materials.The main advantages,challenges,and perspectives in further development are discussed. 展开更多
