[Methods]Based on the investigation data of pH, dissolved oxygen(Do), water temperature(T) and chlorophyll a(Chl. a) of the fishery waters in Quzhou City from 2017 to 2020, the seasonal variation characteristics and influencing factors of pH in the fishery waters were analyzed and discussed. [Results] The pH of the fishery waters in Quzhou City was in the range of 6.40-11.3, and was characterized by the highest seasonal variation in spring and the lowest in winter. The correlation analysis showed that water temperature and pH were significantly positively correlated in spring and summer(P<0.05), and the photosynthesis of phytoplankton was the main reason that affected the pH of water bodies in spring and summer. There was a negative correlation between water temperature and pH in winter, and the pH in the natural waters had a significant negative correlation with water temperature(P<0.05). The balance of carbonate system in the water bodies was the main reason that affected the pH of water in winter. The level of water eutrophication(Chl. a) affected the pH of fishery waters to a certain extent. When Chl. a<10 μg/L, there was a significant positive correlation between the pH of fishery waters and Chl. a(P<0.05). Various environmental factors had different effects on the pH of different types of fishery waters. The stepwise regression analysis showed that the pH of natural waters was mainly affected by Chl. a, and the pH of aquaculture waters was mainly affected by water temperature and dissolved oxygen. [Conclusions]This study provides certain theoretical support for actual production management.展开更多

It is thought that innate immunity gene expression is disrupted in the epithelium of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), including antimicrobial peptides and pattern recognition receptors (PRRs). The aim of this preliminary study was to detect the expression of innate immunity genes in epithelial cells of hypertrophic adenoids with and without pCRS to better understand their role in pCRS. Methods: Nine pCRS patients and nine simple AH patients undergoing adenoidectomy were recruited for the study. Adenoidal epithelium was isolated, and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was employed to measure relative expression levels of the following messenger RNAs in hypertrophic adenoid epithelial cells of pediatric patients with and without CRS: Human β-defensin (HBD) 2 and 3, surfactant protein (SP)-A and D, toll-like receptors 1-10, nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptors NOD 1, NOD 2, and NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-containing protein 3, retinoic acid-induced gene 1, melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5, and nuclear factor-riB (NF-KB). RT-qPCR data from two groups were analyzed by independent sample t-tests and Mann-Whitney U-tests. Results: The relative expression of SP-D in adenoidal epithelium ofpCRS group was significantly lower than that in AH group (pCRS 0.73 ± 0.10 vs. AH 1.21 ±0.15; P = 0.0173, t = 2.654). The relative expression levels of all tested PRRs and NF-κB, as well as HBD-2, HBD-3, and SP-A, showed no statistically significant differences in isolated adenoidal epithelium between pCRS group and AH group. Conclusions: Down-regulated SP-D levels in adenoidal epithelium may contribute to the development of pCRS. PRRs, however, are unlikely to play a significant role in the inflammatory process ofpCRS.展开更多

文摘Virtual power plants can effectively integrate different types of distributed energy resources, which have become a new operation mode with substantial advantages such as high flexibility, adaptability, and economy. This paper proposes a distributionally robust optimal dispatch approach for virtual power plants to determine an optimal day-ahead dispatch under uncertainties of renewable energy sources. The proposed distributionally robust approach characterizes probability distributions of renewable power output by moments. In this regard, the faults of stochastic optimization and traditional robust optimization can be overcome.Firstly,a second-order cone-based ambiguity set that incorporates the first and second moments of renewable power output is constructed, and a day-ahead two-stage distributionally robust optimization model is proposed for virtual power plants participating in day-ahead electricity markets. Then,an effective solution method based on the affine policy and second-order cone duality theory is employed to reformulate the proposed model into a deterministic mixed-integer second-order cone programming problem, which improves the computational efficiency of the model. Finally, the numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a better balance between robustness and economy. They also validate that the dispatch strategy of virtual power plants can be adjusted to reduce costs according to the moment information of renewable power output.

文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to strengthen the understanding of the variation laws of pH in fishery waters. [Conclusions]This study provides certain theoretical support for actual production management.

文摘BACKGROUND We invented Endoscopic Ruler,a new endoscopic device to measure the size of varices in patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension.AIM To assess the feasibility and safety of Endoscopic Ruler, and evaluate the agreement on identifying large oesophageal varices(OV)between Endoscopic Ruler and the endoscopists,as well as the interobserver agreement on diagnosing large OV using Endoscopic Ruler.METHODS We prospectively and consecutively enrolled patients with cirrhosis from 11 hospitals, all of whom got esophagogastroduodenoscopy(EGD)with Endoscopic Ruler. The primary study outcome was a successful measurement of the size of varices using Endoscopic Ruler. The secondary outcomes included adverse events, operation time, the agreement of identifying large OV between the objective measurement of Endoscopic Ruler and the empirical reading of endoscopists, together with the interobserver agreement on diagnosing large OV by Endoscopic Ruler.RESULTS From November 2020 to April 2022,a total of 120 eligible patients with cirrhosis were recruited and all of them underwent EGD examinations with Endoscopic Ruler successfully without any adverse event. The median operation time of Endoscopic Ruler was 3.00 min[interquartile range(IQR):3.00 min].The kappa value between Endoscopic Ruler and the endoscopists while detecting large OV was 0.52,demonstrating a moderate agreement. The kappa value for diagnosing large OV using Endoscopic Ruler among the six independent observers was 0.77,demonstrating a substantial agreement.CONCLUSION The data demonstrates that Endoscopic Ruler is feasible and safe for measuring the size of varices in patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension.Endoscopic Ruler is potential to promote the clinical practice of the two-grade classification system of OV.
文摘Covariate-adaptive randomisation has a long history of applications in clinical trials. Shao, Yu,and Zhong [(2010). A theory for testing hypotheses under covariate-adaptive randomization.Biometrika, 97, 347–360] and Shao and Yu [(2013). Validity of tests under covariate-adaptivebiased coin randomization and generalized linear models. Biometrics, 69, 960–969] showed thatthe simple t-test is conservative under covariate-adaptive biased coin (CABC) randomisation interms of type I error, and proposed a valid test using the bootstrap. Under a general additivemodel with CABC randomisation, we construct a calibrated t-test that shares the same propertyas the bootstrap method in Shao et al. (2010), but do not need large computation required by thebootstrap method. Some simulation results are presented to show the finite sample performanceof the calibrated t-test.
文摘Background Dysphagia is a common complication after stroke.Water swallowing test(WST)is a recognised but limited tool in providing details about dysphagia, including severity and how to adjust the diet based on the test results. Methods We performed a prospective observational study of comparing WST and volume-viscosity swallow test(V-VST)in patients with acute stroke within 14 days. All patients had WST and if failed would have a V-VST.The primary outcome was to compare the dysphagia levels assessed by these two test tools. The secondary outcome was to explore the predictive capability in patients who were at high risk of pneumonia by these two swallowing tests.results Consecutively 276 patients with stroke were enrolled in our study, and 197 had normal WST.Among 79 patients who had both WST and V-VST,20 showed swallowing safety and effectiveness by V-VST.The chance of being on tube feeding was strongly related to the positive results of failed WST(p<0.001).Both tests showed good predictive ability in patients with stroke for pneumonia even some of them were placed on tube feeding(p=0.001 in WST and p<0.001 in V-VST).Conclusions V-VST performed better as a clinical screening test for dysphagia in patients with acute stroke at the bedside.Trial registration number ChiCTR1800016442.

文摘Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),was found initially in Wuhan,China in early December 2019.The pandemic has spread to 216 countries and regions, infecting more than 23310000 people and causing over 800000 deaths globally by Aug.24,2020,according to World Health Organization(https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019).Fever,cough,and dyspnea are the three common symptoms of the condition, whereas the conventional transmission route for SARS-CoV-2 is through droplets entering the respiratory tract.
文摘Background: Adenoid hypertrophy (AH) is associated with pediatric chronic rhinosinusitis (pCRS), but its role in the inflammatory process of pCRS is unclear. PRRs, however, are unlikely to play a significant role in the inflammatory process ofpCRS.

文摘Autologous tumor cells and cell-derived secretions(CDS)can induce antitumor immune responses. The conditions in which cells are cultured and treated impact CDS,and cellular insults alter their composition and function. In this study,we generated CDS from tumor cells exposed to normal culture conditions, hypoxia, cisplatin, radiotherapy, photodynamic therapy,or hypochlorous acid(HOCl).In vitro HOCl-CDS showed the strongest stimulatory effects on dendritic cells and macrophages compared to CDS generated by hypoxia, cisplatin, radiotherapy or photodynamic therapy. To improve HOCl-CDS activity at the tumor site,we loaded HOCl-CDS into a melittin-encapsulated hydrogel scaffold. When injected intratumorally, the HOCl-CDS hydrogel promoted tumor cell death, cytotoxic T lymphocyte infiltration, and tumor-associated macrophage reprogramming towards an M1 phenotype. The hydrogel inhibited tumor growth and prolonged the survival of mice bearing B16-F10 melanoma.Furthermore,hydrogel-delivered HOCl-CDS augmented the antitumor effects of immune checkpoint blockade. These results underscore the importance of the CDS generation method and delivery approach for improving cancer immunotherapy.
