Molecular sieve materials have been paid atten...Research and development of efficient, economical and resource-based flue gas desulfurization technology has always been a hot spot in the field of air pollution control. Molecular sieve materials have been paid attention to by SO<sub>2</sub> adsorbent researchers due to their huge specific surface area. In this paper, 13X zeolite was modified with Cu(NO<sub>3</sub>) <sub>2</sub>·3H<sub>2</sub>O to obtain 13x-Xwt %CuO (calculated by the amount of CuO loaded). The adsorption time and capacity of SO<sub>2</sub> penetration sorbent and the isothermal curve of N<sub>2</sub> adsorption-desorption were studied. The results are as follows: 13X-3wt%CuO has the best adsorption effect, the penetration adsorption time is 110 min, the penetration adsorption capacity is 43.41 mg·g<sup>-1</sup>, the saturation adsorption capacity is 49.27 mg·g<sup>-1</sup>;The amount of CuO loading has a great influence on the adsorption effect of modified 13X molecular sieve on SO<sub>2</sub>. SEM and BET characterization showed that CuO modification did not change the external morphology of 13X molecular sieve, changed the pore size, but did not block the original channel of the molecular sieve, before and after modification belong to the type I adsorption isothermal curve. The pore size distribution and type of molecular sieve, as well as the content and type of alkali metal cations jointly control the adsorption process of SO<sub>2</sub> by 13X-xwt %CuO. XPS characterization showed that Cu(NO<sub>3</sub>) <sub>2</sub> decomposed into CuO and Cu<sub>2</sub>O during roasting at 450°C, CuO/Cu<sub>2</sub>O ≈ 1.5. The R<sup>2</sup> values of the quasi-second-order kinetic models obtained from the 13X-Xwt %CuO particle diffusion kinetic models were all above 0.99, indicating that the quasi-second-order kinetic equations were more relevant. Particle diffusion dynamics model in fitting results show that the adsorption process can be divided into two stages, the first phase of surface adsorption and diffusion rate in the granules common control process, more accurate dynamics model of the secondary in the second phase particle diffusion rate control stage, mainly for the micropore adsorption or chemical adsorption, quasi level 2 dynamic model conformity of variation;C is a constant not equal to 0, indicating that the adsorption of SO<sub>2</sub> is not completely through the form of intra-particle diffusion, and a small amount of chemisorption exists. And it is the compound effect of multiple adsorption mechanisms.展开更多

How- ever, most of these models have been established on lower animals, such as rodents, and involve only a single administration of a noxious stimulus. In this study, an inflammatory soup (10 μL), consisting of prostaglandin E2 (0.2 mM), serotonin (2 mM), bradykinin (2 raM) and histamine (2 raM), was injected into the dura mater of conscious rhesus monkeys through an indwelling catheter. The infusion started on day 8 and was repeated every 3 days, for a total of six administrations, to induce neurogenic inflammation. We performed behavioral assessments and measured the expression of the oncogene c-fos, neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) and calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) ill the trigeminal system and in multiple brain regions involved in pain processing by immunohistochemical staining. Compared with monkeys in the control group, three of the four animals in the inflammatory soup group displayed decreased motor behaviors, and two showed increased ipsilateral nose and mouth secretions during the stimulus period. Higher expression levels of c-fos, nNOS and CGRP were found in various brain areas of experimental animals compared with controls, including the trigeminal nucleus caudalis, thalamus, hypothalamus, midbrain, pons and other areas involved in pain perception. These results suggest that repeated inflammatory soup stimulation of the dura activates the trigeminovascular system and produces migraine-like pathological changes and abnormal behaviors in conscious rhesus monkeys.展开更多
Objective:The aims of this retrospective study were to investigate and evaluate the safety and efficacy of three approaches for closure of secundum atrial septal defect(ASD).Methods:In this study,we reviewed clinical ...Objective:The aims of this retrospective study were to investigate and evaluate the safety and efficacy of three approaches for closure of secundum atrial septal defect(ASD).Methods:In this study,we reviewed clinical data for transcatheter occlusion(TCO,n=63),transthoracic occlusion(TTO,n=55),and right anterolateral minithoracotomy(RALT,n=60)techniques used for ASD closure.We compared the safety and efficacy of the three approaches.Results:ASD size in the TTO group was similar to that in the RALT group(P=0.645)and significantly larger than that in the TCO group(P<O.OO1).The RALT group had more non-central types of ASD than the TTO and TCO groups(P=O.019 and P<O.OO1).The operative time in the TTO group was shorter than that in the TCO and RALT groups(P<O.OO1 and P<0.001).The ventilation time and intensive care unit duration were shorter in the TTO group than in the RALT group(P<O.OO1 and P<O.OO1).Hospital duration in the TCO group was shorter than that in the TTO and RALT groups(P<O.OO1 and P<O.OO1).There were no residual shunt and mortality in any group in hospital or during follow-up.There was no significant difference in the incidence of total complications among the three groups(P=0.738).Conclusion:TCO,TTO,and RALT can be performed with favorable cosmetic and clinical results for closing ASD.Appropriate patient selection is an important factor for successful closure.These techniques are promising alternatives to standard median sternotomy and merit additional study.展开更多

Using SPSS statistical analysis software and ORING mapping software,we process the data of Cu content in 60 sampling points and draw the normal distribution map,and then analyze the distribution of Cu content of soil in different land use types. The results show that the Cu content of the farmland soil in the suburbs of Changchun City is between 41. 71 mg /kg and 116. 77 mg /kg,with an average of 53. 35 mg /kg,and the content in all sampling points is higher than the background value; in terms of the Cu content of soil,different land use types are sequenced in descending order(vegetable field > paddy > dry land).展开更多
The present work investigates the potential applications of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x)),particularly nitric oxide(NO)and nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2)),generated through discharge plasma in diverse sectors such as medicine,nitr...The present work investigates the potential applications of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x)),particularly nitric oxide(NO)and nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2)),generated through discharge plasma in diverse sectors such as medicine,nitrogen fixation,energy,and environmental protection.In this study,a rotating sliding arc discharge reactor was initially employed to produce high concentrations of gaseous NO_(x),followed by the utilization of a molybdenum wire redox reactor for NO_(2)-to-NO conversion.The outcomes reveal that the discharge states and generations of NO_(x) are affected by varying parameters,including the applied energies,frequencies and airflow states(1.3-2.6 m/s are the laminar flow,2.6-5.2 m/s are the transition state,5.2-6.5 m/s are the turbulent flow),and the concentrations of NO_(x) within the arc discharge are higher than that in the spark discharge.Moreover,the concentrations of NO,NO_(2) and NO_(x) gradually increased,and the concentration ratios of NO/NO_(2) and NO_(x)/NO_(2) decreased with increasing the applied energy for one cycle from 14.8 mJ to 24.3 mJ.Meanwhile,the concentrations of NO,NO_(2) and NO_(x) gradually decreased,and the concentration ratios of NO/NO_(2) and NO_(x)/NO_(2) first decreased and then increased with increasing the applied frequencies from 5.0 kHz to 9.0 kHz.Further,the concentrations of NO,NO_(2) and NO_(x) gradually decreased,and the concentration ratios of NO/NO_(2) and NO_(x)/NO_(2) first increased and then decreased with increasing the air flow speeds from 1.3 m/s to 6.5 m/s.Lastly,the concentrations of NO increased and NO_(2) decreased with increasing temperature from 25℃ to 400℃ using molybdenum converted.These findings provide experimental support for the application of plasma in the fields of medicine,nitrogen fixation,energy and environmental protection.展开更多
Background and Objective:Cardiac fibrosis is a pathological reparative process that follows myocardial infarctionand is associated with compromised cardiac systolic and reduced cardiac compliance.The Wnt signaling pat...Background and Objective:Cardiac fibrosis is a pathological reparative process that follows myocardial infarctionand is associated with compromised cardiac systolic and reduced cardiac compliance.The Wnt signaling pathway is closely implicated in organ fibrosis,and Notum,a highly conserved secreted inhibitor,modulates Wnt signaling.The objective of this study was to explore the role and mechanism of Notum in cardiac fibrosis.Methods:A mouse model of cardiac remodeling was established through left coronary artery ligation surgery,with the addition of Notum injection following myocardial infarction surgery.The protective effect of Notum on myocardial infarction was assessed by evaluating cardiac function,including survival rate,echocardiographic assessment,and cardiac contraction analyses.Inflammatory cell necrosis and infiltration were confirmed through H&E and Masson staining.The expression of fibrosis-related genes andβ-catenin pathway markers was detected using Western blot quantificational RT-PCR(qRT-PCR).Additionally,EdU,wound healing,and immunofluorescence staining analyses were performed to detect the effect of Notum's in transforming growth factor beta-1(TGF-β1)induced myofibroblast transformation.Results:The administration of Notum treatment resulted in enhanced survival rates,improved cardiac function,and decreased necrosis and infiltration of inflammatory cells in mice subjected to left coronary artery ligation.Furthermore,Notum effectively impeded the senescence of cardiac fibroblasts and hindered their pathological transformation into cardiac fibroblasts.Additionally,it significantly reduced collagen production and attenuated the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.Our preliminary investigations successfully demonstrated the therapeutic potential of Notum in both fibroblasts in vitro and in a mouse model of myocardial infarction-induced cardiac fibrosis in vivo.Conclusion:Notum inhibition of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and cardiac fibroblast senescence ultimately hampers the onset of cardiac fibrosis.Our findings suggest that Notum could represent a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of cardiac fibrosis.展开更多

Firstly, a mathematical model for topology opti...In this study, a microchannel liquid cooling plate (LCP) is proposed for Intel Xeon 52.5 mm * 45 mm packaged architecture processors based on topology optimization (TO). Firstly, a mathematical model for topology optimization design of the LCP is established based on heat dissipation and pressure drop objectives. We obtain a series of two-dimensional (2D) topology optimization configurations with different weighting factors for two objectives. It is found that the biomimetic phenomenon of the topologically optimized flow channel structure is more pronounced at low Reynolds numbers. Secondly, the topology configuration is stretched into a three-dimensional (3D) model to perform CFD simulations under actual operating conditions. The results show that the thermal resistance and pressure drop of the LCP based on topology optimization achieve a reduction of approximately 20% - 50% compared to traditional serpentine and microchannel straight flow channel structures. The Nusselt number can be improved by up to 76.1% compared to microchannel straight designs. Moreover, it is observed that under high flow rates, straight microchannel LCPs exhibit significant backflow, vortex phenomena, and topology optimization structures LCPs also tend to lead to loss of effectiveness in the form of tree root-shaped branch flows. Suitable flow rate ranges for LCPs are provided. Furthermore, the temperature and pressure drop of experimental results are consistent with the numerical ones, which verifies the effectiveness of performance for topology optimization flow channel LCP.展开更多

Accurate reproduction of the physiological pulsatile flow waveform in the abdominal aorta at various anatomic locations is an important component of these experimental methods. The objective of this study is to establish an experimental set-up to generate a physiological pulsatile flow for in vitro simulations of the abdominal aorta. The physiological flow was established by a computer-controlled peristaltic pump and the flow field in a circular straight pipe is measured under pulsatile flow conditions by a 2-dimensional particle image velocimetry system (2D-PIV). Experimental results show that the in vitro experimental set-up provides a flow with a period of 2 s, a reasonable cross-sectional velocity distribution and an approximate inlet velocity profile that is close to the human abdominal aorta.展开更多

A hemostatic material with biocompatibility and effective hemostatic properties was developed to avoid blood loss. The thrombin spray was prepared by using the polypeptide RDAD16 as a stabilizer. The circular dichroism study showed that the chemical structure of the polypeptide did not change as a stabilizer. The atomic force microscope analysis showed that RDAD16 has formed a fibrous substance in the aqueous solution and could effectively encapsulate the thrombin. The simple coagulation experiment showed that the polypeptide RDAD16 could be the effective stability of the thrombin. The coagulant time of thrombin encapsulated by polypeptide RDAD16 was 14 s after 30 days which showed a significant difference compared with the control sample. Wound closure test in mice showed that thrombin embedded with Polypeptide RDAD16 does not affect wound closure.展开更多

文摘Background and Objective:Cardiac fibrosis is a pathological reparative process that follows myocardial infarctionand is associated with compromised cardiac systolic and reduced cardiac compliance.The Wnt signaling pathway is closely implicated in organ fibrosis,and Notum,a highly conserved secreted inhibitor,modulates Wnt signaling.The objective of this study was to explore the role and mechanism of Notum in cardiac fibrosis.Methods:A mouse model of cardiac remodeling was established through left coronary artery ligation surgery,with the addition of Notum injection following myocardial infarction surgery.The protective effect of Notum on myocardial infarction was assessed by evaluating cardiac function,including survival rate,echocardiographic assessment,and cardiac contraction analyses.Inflammatory cell necrosis and infiltration were confirmed through H&E and Masson staining.The expression of fibrosis-related genes andβ-catenin pathway markers was detected using Western blot quantificational RT-PCR(qRT-PCR).Additionally,EdU,wound healing,and immunofluorescence staining analyses were performed to detect the effect of Notum's in transforming growth factor beta-1(TGF-β1)induced myofibroblast transformation.Results:The administration of Notum treatment resulted in enhanced survival rates,improved cardiac function,and decreased necrosis and infiltration of inflammatory cells in mice subjected to left coronary artery ligation.Furthermore,Notum effectively impeded the senescence of cardiac fibroblasts and hindered their pathological transformation into cardiac fibroblasts.Additionally,it significantly reduced collagen production and attenuated the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.Our preliminary investigations successfully demonstrated the therapeutic potential of Notum in both fibroblasts in vitro and in a mouse model of myocardial infarction-induced cardiac fibrosis in vivo.Conclusion:Notum inhibition of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and cardiac fibroblast senescence ultimately hampers the onset of cardiac fibrosis.Our findings suggest that Notum could represent a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of cardiac fibrosis.
文摘In this study, a microchannel liquid cooling plate (LCP) is proposed for Intel Xeon 52.5 mm * 45 mm packaged architecture processors based on topology optimization (TO). Firstly, a mathematical model for topology optimization design of the LCP is established based on heat dissipation and pressure drop objectives. We obtain a series of two-dimensional (2D) topology optimization configurations with different weighting factors for two objectives. It is found that the biomimetic phenomenon of the topologically optimized flow channel structure is more pronounced at low Reynolds numbers. Secondly, the topology configuration is stretched into a three-dimensional (3D) model to perform CFD simulations under actual operating conditions. The results show that the thermal resistance and pressure drop of the LCP based on topology optimization achieve a reduction of approximately 20% - 50% compared to traditional serpentine and microchannel straight flow channel structures. The Nusselt number can be improved by up to 76.1% compared to microchannel straight designs. Moreover, it is observed that under high flow rates, straight microchannel LCPs exhibit significant backflow, vortex phenomena, and topology optimization structures LCPs also tend to lead to loss of effectiveness in the form of tree root-shaped branch flows. Suitable flow rate ranges for LCPs are provided. Furthermore, the temperature and pressure drop of experimental results are consistent with the numerical ones, which verifies the effectiveness of performance for topology optimization flow channel LCP.
文摘In vitro experimental set-up is an important tool for investigating abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Accurate reproduction of the physiological pulsatile flow waveform in the abdominal aorta at various anatomic locations is an important component of these experimental methods. The objective of this study is to establish an experimental set-up to generate a physiological pulsatile flow for in vitro simulations of the abdominal aorta. The physiological flow was established by a computer-controlled peristaltic pump and the flow field in a circular straight pipe is measured under pulsatile flow conditions by a 2-dimensional particle image velocimetry system (2D-PIV). Experimental results show that the in vitro experimental set-up provides a flow with a period of 2 s, a reasonable cross-sectional velocity distribution and an approximate inlet velocity profile that is close to the human abdominal aorta.
文摘Limiting blood loss following trauma is critical for survival and can reduce the risk of death from coagulopathy, infection, and multisystem organ failure. A hemostatic material with biocompatibility and effective hemostatic properties was developed to avoid blood loss. The thrombin spray was prepared by using the polypeptide RDAD16 as a stabilizer. The circular dichroism study showed that the chemical structure of the polypeptide did not change as a stabilizer. The atomic force microscope analysis showed that RDAD16 has formed a fibrous substance in the aqueous solution and could effectively encapsulate the thrombin. The simple coagulation experiment showed that the polypeptide RDAD16 could be the effective stability of the thrombin. The coagulant time of thrombin encapsulated by polypeptide RDAD16 was 14 s after 30 days which showed a significant difference compared with the control sample. Wound closure test in mice showed that thrombin embedded with Polypeptide RDAD16 does not affect wound closure.
