BACKGROUND Primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma is a rare and aggressive condition with a poor prognosis.Its clinical presentation can be challenging to differentiate from benign prostatic hyperplasia.Given the rar...BACKGROUND Primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma is a rare and aggressive condition with a poor prognosis.Its clinical presentation can be challenging to differentiate from benign prostatic hyperplasia.Given the rarity of primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma,its diagnosis and treatment remain unclear.CASE SUMMARY This report presents a case of a 57-year-old male with primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma,initially misdiagnosed as prostatic hyperplasia.This case's operative process,intraoperative findings and postoperative management are discussed in detail.CONCLUSION Primary prostate lymphoma is difficult to distinguish from other prostate diseases.Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate(HoLEP),a minimally invasive procedure,is crucial in diagnosing and treating this rare disease.Clinicians should remain vigilant and thoroughly combine physical examination,imaging and test results when encountering patients of younger age with small prostate size but a rapid progression of lower urinary tract symptoms.HoLEP is an essential diagnostic and therapeutic tool in managing primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma.展开更多
Under the guidance of the finding that the tyrosine residues in proteins could undergo three-component Mannich-type reactions with formaldehyde and electron-rich aniline-containing compounds,which forms covalent bondi...Under the guidance of the finding that the tyrosine residues in proteins could undergo three-component Mannich-type reactions with formaldehyde and electron-rich aniline-containing compounds,which forms covalent bonding connections between the protein of interest and the aniline with high levels of selectivity under relatively mild conditions,an orange aromatic primary amine-containing acid dye AMODB was designed and readily synthesized.The molecular structure was characterized by FTIR,^1H NMR,mass spectrometry and elemental analysis.The synthesized dye and a similar control dye(C.I.Acid Yellow 11) without primary amine groups were applied to dye silk fabric by three dyeing processes:Mannich-type dyeing(with and without the addition of formaldehyde) and acidic dyeing.Their washing and rubbing fastness properties with different dyeing methods were examined and compared.It was found that the dyed silk fabric with AMODB by the Mannich-type dyeing showed higher color depth,better anti-stripping ability to DMF and better washing fastness than those of the dyed silk fabric with C.I.Acid Yellow 11 by acidic dyeing due to the covalent bond formation between the dye chromophore of AMODB and silk fiber.In addition,mild Mannich dyeing conditions suitable for silk(AMODB at 3%owf,75:1 liquor-to-goods ratio,dyebath pH 5.5,30℃,10 h) were provided.展开更多

The synthesized dye and a similar control dye containing the acylamide moiety(I) were applied to dyeing poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and their washing and rubbing fastness properties with different post-treatment methods(reduction clearing and alkali clearing) were examined and compared. It is found that the ester-containing disperse dye shows good alkali-clear ability on poly(ethylene terephthalate) fabric and contaminates little to environment due to the absence of reductants, as well as low toxicity and easy recycling of the hydrolysates.展开更多
