MET...OBJECTIVE To investigate the relationship between p 120^ctn translocation and hepatocellular carcinoma cell malignant features and the relationship between p 120^ctn and β-catenin translocation in cell signaling. METHODS Human hepatocellular carcinoma cells were over expressed with p120^ctn isoform 3A using a DNA transfection method. The effects of transfection and expression of p120^ctn and its binding capacity to E-cadherin were examined using immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting methods. p120^ctn subcellular localization and its relation with β-catenin were detected using immunofluorescent microscopy, p120^ctn phosphorylation was produced by EGF treatment. Cell adhesion, cell migration and cell proliferation were also examined in this study. RESULTS We found that p 120^ctn expression was increased after transfection and the binding capacity of p120^ctn to E-cadherin was enhanced. Tyrosine phosphorylation of p120^ctn increased after transfection and EGF treatment. p120^ctn and β-catenin cellular localization displayd a membrane and cytoplasmic expression pattern, but they translocated into the nucleus for relocalization after p120^ctn overexpression plus EGF stimulation. Cell adhesion ability was increased and migration ability reduced after transfection without EGF. Following transfection without EGF cellular proliferation was reduced, but increased after EGF treatment. CONCLUSION Our results suggest that p120^ctn plays an important role in hepatocellular carcinoma cell adhesion, migration and proliferation. In addition there is a relationship between p120^ctn and β-catenin subcellular localization and signaling.展开更多
What methods would you choose apart from increasing sedatives for agitation in an advanced patient with hypercapnic encephalopathy due to AECOPD?This is a 94-year-old female who suffered from COPD for over 30 years,oc...What methods would you choose apart from increasing sedatives for agitation in an advanced patient with hypercapnic encephalopathy due to AECOPD?This is a 94-year-old female who suffered from COPD for over 30 years,occurred with an accelerated episode of cough,productive sputum and a dropping down to 86%in SatO₂due to a cold weather.A diagnosis of pulmonary encephalopathy(PE)was made on the basis of the subsequent agitation and delirium,and the sedatives,such as quatiepine and haloperidol,had to be given for her mental excitation respectively,but she still pulled out indwelling needle herself and refused to any infusion therapy.As an alternative,a vaporized therapy integrated with tea herb drinking had to be applied to relieving her agitation,being designed as the vaporization of the inhaled oxygenation by means of high-flow oxygenation device(HFOD),with an ampoule of ambroxol mixed into the inhaler and simultaneous drinking of TCM tea herb for reducing sputum,helping dissolve the mucoid bolts inside her terminal bronchioles when being infected.We thought that a better efficacy would be achieved for hypercapnic encephalopathy due to AECOPD if we concentrate on a good ventilation of small airway through the vaporized therapy.展开更多
With the rapid development of the Internet technology,millimeter wave(mmWave)will be used as a supplement to 5G low frequency bands to meet the extremely high system capacity requirements of 5G in hot spots.Although 5...With the rapid development of the Internet technology,millimeter wave(mmWave)will be used as a supplement to 5G low frequency bands to meet the extremely high system capacity requirements of 5G in hot spots.Although 5G mmWave communication can adapt to the needs of 5G network and carry a large amount of transmitted data,transmission stability has become one of the key technical issues of 5G network mmWave communication due to problems such as strong attenuation and poor penetration of mmWave.In order to improve the efficiency of the mmWave multi-hop transmission,we propose a 5G mmWave multi-hop transmission method based on network coding,which can adapt to the current wireless network environment,improve spectrum efficiency and increase network throughput.Based on MATLAB simulation experiments,it is verified that the proposed method can greatly improve the transmission efficiency and reduce the signal loss under the premise of ensuring the accurate signal transmission.展开更多
It has been reported that a 92-year-old female had got a bruise superficial wound on her right leg one and a half years ago,developing into refractory skin ulcer due to improper management before.A prepared cream,mixe...It has been reported that a 92-year-old female had got a bruise superficial wound on her right leg one and a half years ago,developing into refractory skin ulcer due to improper management before.A prepared cream,mixed royal jelly with berberine for dressing change,was made on the scene through the crush of berberine tablets,working with fresh royal jelly.Topical dressing change with the cream was done every 3 days,and two months later,such the ulcer became clean and was covered fully with fresh granulation tissue.This kind of cream consists of the ingredients of TCM purely,free of antibiotic,and being quite effective clinically,also helpful for proper use of antibiotic.展开更多
