This study explored the potential of polysaccharides from Actium lappa(ALPs)as natural wall materials for producing ALP-based nanoparticles to deliver poorly water-soluble oleanolic acid(OA)and ursolic acid(UA).Encapsulating OA+UA with ALPs(ALP:OA+UA,50:1;OA:UA,1:1)changed the crystalline nature to a more amorphous state through hydrogen bonding and involving O-H/C-O/O-C-O groups.ALP-OA/UA nanoparticles had a particle size and zeta potential(in water)of 199.1 nm/-7.15 mV,with a narrow unimodal size distribution,and excellent pH,salt solution,temperature and storage stability.Compared with ALPs,ALPOA/UA nanoparticles showed enhanced anti-inflammatory activity(especially at a dose of 100μg/mL)in a CuSO-induced zebrafish inflammation model via down-regulating the NF-κB signalling pathway and gene expression of associated transcription factors and cytokines(TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-8).Therefore,ALP-based nanoparticles are natural and anti-inflammatory carriers for hydrophobic bioactive molecules. 展开更多

We report a case of atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT) with ostial atresia of the coronary sinus (CS). Without the anatomic angiography, radiofrequency (RF) energy was applied at the mitral valve annulus and the bypass tract was eliminated. After the therapy procedure, by CS angiography, we knew the persistent left superior vena cava (PLSVC), and the coronary sinus was connected with vena cava superior, very thin in a diameter. The therapy procedure was successful. The patient has remained completely symptom free. 展开更多

Na_(4)Fe_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)(P_(2)O_(7))(NFPP)with the advantages of low cost and stable crystal structure has been considered a highly promising cathode candidate for sodiumion batteries.However,limited by its undesirable intrinsic conductivity,it still suffers from unsatisfactory electrochemical performance.Herein,we synthesized NFPP/C composites with porous structure(p-NFPP)by a facile selfassembly strategy.Its well-developed pore structure can effectively reduce the ion diffusion path,accelerate electrolyte infiltration and accommodate volume expansion during the charge/discharge process.In addition,in-situ X-ray diffraction revealed the superior structural stability of p-NFPP.They enable a high reversible capacity(104.8 mAh g−1),and good rate performance(75.0 mAh g−1 at 10 A g−1),and excellent cycling stability(a reversible capacity of 85.1 mAh g−1 after 2000 cycles).More importantly,the p-NFPP realizes a stable operation in a wide temperature range of 55℃ to−10℃.This work highlights morphology engineering as a powerful strategy to boost the all-climate sodium storage performance of electrode materials. 展开更多

We have improved the photovoltaic performance of 2,4-bis[4-(N,N- diisobutylamino)-2,6-dihydroxyphenyl] squaraine:[6,6]-phenyl C71-butyric acid methyl ester (DIBSQ:PC71BM) organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells via incorporating Liq-doped Bphen (Bphen-Liq) as a cathode buffer layer (CBL). Based on the Bphen-Liq CBL, a DIBSQ:PC71BM OPV cell possessed an optimal power conversion efficiency of 4.90%, which was 13% and 60% higher than those of the devices with neat Bphen as CBL and without CBL, respectively. The enhancement of the device performance could be attributed to the enhanced electron mobility and improved electrode/active layer contact and thus the improved photocurrent extraction by incorporating the Bphen-Liq CBL. Light-intensity dependent device performance analysis indicates that the incorporating of the Bphen-Liq CBL can remarkably improve the charge transport of the DIBSQ:PC71BM OPV cell and thus decrease the recombination losses of the device, resulting in enhanced device performance. Our finding indicates that the doped Bphen-Liq CBL has great potential for high-performance solution-processed small-molecule OPVs. 展开更多
