Low Complexity Multiuser Detection Algorithm for Multi-Beam Satellite Systems

The minimum mean square error-successive interference cancellation( MMSE-SIC) multiuser detection algorithm has high complexity and long processing latency. A multiuser detection algorithm is proposed for multi-beam satellite systems in order to decrease the complexity and latency. The spot beams are grouped base on the distance between them in the proposed algorithm. Some groups are detected in parallel after a crucial group-wise interference cancellation. Furthermore, the multi-stage structure is introduced to improve the performance. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve better performance with less complexity compared with the existing group detection algorithm. Moreover,the proposed algorithm using one stage can reduce the complexity over the fast MMSE-SIC and existing group detection algorithm by 9% and20. 9%. The processing latency is reduced significantly compared with the MMSE-SIC. 展开更多

An iterative detection and decoding algorithm with outer code decision feedback is proposed for the dual polarized( DP) land mobile satellite( LMS) MIMO systems using concatenated codes. A feedback structure is added after the outer decoder in the proposed algorithm. The feedback information is exploited to control the detecting list in the MIMO detector and reduce the number of symbols which have to be processed at each iteration. As a result,the computational complexity is reduced. Meanwhile,the successfully decoded outer code words are used to calculate the more reliable initial information for the inner decoder and the system performance can be improved by this step. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the computational complexity compared to the traditional iterative detection and decoding algorithm and achieve better performance. 展开更多

Biodegradable polymers are a promising sustainable alternative to conventional petroleum-based polymers and have attracted recent extensive research interest due to their potential environmental friendliness and sustainability. Among them, aliphatic polyesters and polycarbonates are the most extensively studied ones. The metal-catalyzed ring-opening polymerization(ROP) of cyclic esters and ring-opening copolymerization(ROCOP) of epoxides with anhydrides or CO_(2) are often considered to be the classic and efficient methods to synthesize stereoregular polymers. Moreover, the versatile salen-type metal complexes have been used to prepare almost all types of biodegradable polymers with excellent stereoselectivity control. Hence, this review focuses on stereoselective synthesis of biodegradable polymers by salen-type metal catalysts developed in the last decade.Aliphatic polyesters from ROP of cyclic esters, ROCOP of epoxides with cyclic anhydrides, and carbonylative polymerization of epoxides, as well as aliphatic poly(thio)carbonate from ROCOP of epoxides with CO_(2) or COS are discussed in detail. This review highlights the polymerization mechanisms, catalyst characteristics, and factors controlling the stereoselectivity of each polymerization reaction, aiming to provide general rules for the future design of stereoselective catalysts. 展开更多

Photocatalytic degradation of sulfadiazine in suspensions of TiO_(2)nanosheets with exposed(001)facets 被引量:1

Antibiotics such as sulfonamides are widely used in agriculture as growth promoters and medicine in treatment of infectious diseases.However,the release of these antibiotics has caused serious environmental problems.In this paper,photocatalytic oxidation technology was used to degrade sulfadiazine(SDZ),one of the typical sulfonamides antibiotics,in UV illuminated TiO_(2)suspensions.It was found that TiO_(2)nanosheets(TiO_(2)-NSs)with exposed(001)facets exhibit much higher photoreactivity towards SDZ degradation compared to TiO_(2)nanoparticles(TiO_(2)-NPs)with a rate constant increases from0.017 min^(-1)to 0.035 min^(-1),improving by a factor of 2.1.Under the attacking of reactive oxygen species(ROSs)such as superoxide radicals(*O_(2)^(-))and hydroxyl radicals(*OH),SDZ was steady degraded on the surface of TiO_(2)-NSs.Based on the identification of the produced intermediates by LC–MS/MS,possible degradation pathways of SDZ,which include desulfonation,oxidation and cleavage,were put forwards.After UV irradiation for 4 h,nearly 90%of the total organic carbon(TOC)can be removed in suspensions of TiO_(2)-NSs,indicating the mineralization of SDZ.TiO_(2)-NSs also exhibits excellent stability in photocatalytic degradation of SDZ in wide range of pH.Even after recycling used for 7 times,more than 91.3%of the SDZ can be efficiently removed,indicating that they are promising to be practically used in treatment of wastewater containing antibiotics. 展开更多
