With the introduction of more recent deep learning models such as encoder-decoder,text generation frameworks have gained a lot of popularity.In Natural Language Generation(NLG),controlling the information and style of...With the introduction of more recent deep learning models such as encoder-decoder,text generation frameworks have gained a lot of popularity.In Natural Language Generation(NLG),controlling the information and style of the output produced is a crucial and challenging task.The purpose of this paper is to develop informative and controllable text using social media language by incorporating topic knowledge into a keyword-to-text framework.A novel Topic-Controllable Key-to-Text(TC-K2T)generator that focuses on the issues of ignoring unordered keywords and utilising subject-controlled information from previous research is presented.TC-K2T is built on the framework of conditional language encoders.In order to guide the model to produce an informative and controllable language,the generator first inputs unordered keywords and uses subjects to simulate prior human knowledge.Using an additional probability term,the model in-creases the likelihood of topic words appearing in the generated text to bias the overall distribution.The proposed TC-K2T can produce more informative and controllable senescence,outperforming state-of-the-art models,according to empirical research on automatic evaluation metrics and human annotations.展开更多

With the evolution of location-based services(LBS),a new type of LBS has already gain a lot of attention and implementation,we name this kind of LBS as the Device-Dependent LBS(DLBS).In DLBS,the service provider(SP)wi...With the evolution of location-based services(LBS),a new type of LBS has already gain a lot of attention and implementation,we name this kind of LBS as the Device-Dependent LBS(DLBS).In DLBS,the service provider(SP)will not only send the information according to the user’s location,more significant,he also provides a service device which will be carried by the user.DLBS has been successfully practised in some of the large cities around the world,for example,the shared bicycle in Beijing and London.In this paper,we,for the first time,blow the whistle of the new location privacy challenges caused by DLBS,since the service device is enabled to perform the localization without the permission of the user.To conquer these threats,we design a service architecture along with a credit system between DLBS provider and the user.The credit system tie together the DLBS device usability with the curious behaviour upon user’s location privacy,DLBS provider has to sacrifice their revenue in order to gain extra location information of their device.We make the simulation of our proposed scheme and the result convince its effectiveness.展开更多

We report on an idler-resonant femtosecond optical parametrical oscillator(OPO)based on BiB_(3)O_(6)(BiBO)crystal,synchronously pumped by a frequency-doubled,mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at 515 nm.The idler wavelengths of...We report on an idler-resonant femtosecond optical parametrical oscillator(OPO)based on BiB_(3)O_(6)(BiBO)crystal,synchronously pumped by a frequency-doubled,mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at 515 nm.The idler wavelengths of OPO can be tuned from 1100 nm to 1540 nm.At a repetition rate of 75.5 MHz,the OPO generates as much as 400 mW of idler power with 3.1 W of pump power,the corresponding pulse duration is 80 fs,which is 1.04 times of Fourier transform-limited(FTL)pulse duration at 1305 nm.In addition,the OPO exhibits excellent beam quality with M^(2)<1.8 at 1150 nm.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first idler-resonant femtosecond OPO pumped by 515 nm.展开更多

Microbially induced carbonate precipitation(MICP)is a promising technique for the autonomous healing of concrete cracks.In this study,the effect of pH on MICP was investigated.The results indicate that the MICP proces...Microbially induced carbonate precipitation(MICP)is a promising technique for the autonomous healing of concrete cracks.In this study,the effect of pH on MICP was investigated.The results indicate that the MICP process was inhibited when the pH was higher than 11.Both vaterite and calcite were produced when the pH was<8,whereas only calcite was produced when the pH was>8.Recycled concrete aggregates(RCA)coated with sodium silicate have been proposed as protective carriers for microbial healing agents.Although the presence of the coated RCA resulted in a loss of the splitting tension strength of the concrete,the loaded healing agents were highly efficient in self-healing cracks.Concrete incorporated with 20%RCA loaded with healing agents exhibited the best self-healing performance.When the initial crack widths were between 0.3 and 0.4 mm,the 7-d mean healing rate was approximately 90%.At 28 d,the crack area filling ratio was 86.4%,while its water tightness recovery ratio was 74.4%and 29.8%,respectively,for rapid and slow absorption.This study suggests that RCA coated with sodium silicate is an effective method for packaging microbial healing agents and has great potential for developing cost-effective self-healing concrete.展开更多

Rotating machinery is widely applied in industrial applications.Fault diagnosis of rotating machinery is vital in manufacturing system,which can prevent catastrophic failure and reduce financial losses.Recently,Deep L...Rotating machinery is widely applied in industrial applications.Fault diagnosis of rotating machinery is vital in manufacturing system,which can prevent catastrophic failure and reduce financial losses.Recently,Deep Learning(DL)-based fault diagnosis method becomes a hot topic.Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is an effective DL method to extract the features of raw data automatically.This paper develops a fault diagnosis method using CNN for InfRared Thermal(IRT)image.First,IRT technique is utilized to capture the IRT images of rotating machinery.Second,the CNN is applied to extract fault features from the IRT images.In the end,the obtained features are fed into the Softmax Regression(SR)classifier for fault pattern identification.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated using two different experimental data.Results show that the proposed method has a superior performance in identification various faults on rotor and bearings comparing with other deep learning models and traditional vibration-based method.展开更多

Genome-wide association studies were conducted for seed composition, including protein, oil, fatty acids, an...The complex genetic architecture of quality traits has hindered efforts to modify seed nutrients in soybean. Genome-wide association studies were conducted for seed composition, including protein, oil, fatty acids, and amino acids, using 313 diverse soybean germplasm accessions genotyped with a high-density SNP array. A total of 87 chromosomal regions were identified to be associated with seed composition, explain- ing 8%-89% of genetic variances. The candidate genes GmSAT1, AK-HSDH, SACPD-C, and FAD3A of known function, and putative MtN21 nodulin, FATB, and steroid-5-^-reductase involved in N2 fixation, amino acid biosynthesis, and fatty acid metabolism were found at the major-effect loci. Further analysis of additional germplasm accessions indicated that these major-effect loci had been subjected to domes- tication or modern breeding selection, and the allelic variants and distributions were relevant to geographic regions. We also revealed that amino acid concentrations related to seed weight and to total protein had a different genetic basis. This helps uncover the in-depth genetic mechanism of the intricate relationships among the seed compounds. Thus, our study not only provides valuable genes and markers for soybean nutrient improvement, both quantitatively and qualitatively, but also offers insights into the alteration of soybean quality during domestication and breeding.展开更多

One significant challenge of most real-world CQA systems is the lack...Community question answering (CQA) represents the type of Web applications where people can exchange knowledge via asking and answering questions. One significant challenge of most real-world CQA systems is the lack of effective matching between questions and the potential good answerers, which adversely affects the efficient knowledge acquisition and circulation. On the one hand, a requester might experience many low-quality answers without receiving a quality response in a brief time; on the other hand, an answerer might face numerous new questions without being able to identify the questions of interest quickly. Under this situation, expert recommendation emerges as a promising technique to address the above issues. Instead of passively waiting for users to browse and find their questions of interest, an expert recommendation method raises the attention of users to the appropriate questions actively and promptly. The past few years have witnessed considerable efforts that address the expert recommendation problem from different perspectives. These methods all have their issues that need to be resolved before the advantages of expert recommendation can be fully embraced. In this survey, we first present an overview of the research efforts and state-of-the-art techniques for the expert recommendation in CQA. We next summarize and compare the existing methods concerning their advantages and shortcomings, followed by discussing the open issues and future research directions.展开更多
We demonstrate a harmonically pumped femtosecond optical parametric oscillator(OPO)laser using a frequency-doubled mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at a repetition rate of 75.5 MHz as the pump laser.Based on a bismuth borate ...We demonstrate a harmonically pumped femtosecond optical parametric oscillator(OPO)laser using a frequency-doubled mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at a repetition rate of 75.5 MHz as the pump laser.Based on a bismuth borate nonlinear crystal,repetition rates up to 1.13 GHz are realized,which is 15 times that of the pump laser.The signal wavelength is tunable from 700 nm to 887 nm.The maximum power of the signal is 207 m W at the central wavelength of 750 nm and the shortest pulse duration is 117 fs at 780 nm.The beam quality(M^2 factor)in the horizontal and vertical directions of the output beam are 1.077 and 1.141,respectively.展开更多

For 32.7 W of incident pump power, we generate 261 fs pulses with the maximum average output power of up to 13.0 W and spectrum centered around 1039 nm at 68.4 MHz, corresponding to 190 n J of single pulse energy and0.72 MW of peak power. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is 39.8%, and the slope efficiency is 64.4%. The Yb:KGW laser exhibits a power stability better than 0.543% of the root-mean-square in 2 h.展开更多

The pulse duration is compressed from 12.5 ps to 601...We demonstrate nonlinear pulse compression of an 8 k Hz Nd:YVO4 picosecond laser using the multi-pass-cell(MPC) technique with fused silica as the nonlinear medium. The pulse duration is compressed from 12.5 ps to 601 fs, corresponding to a pulse shortening factor of 20.8. The output pulse energy is 154 μJ with an efficiency of 74.5%. To the best of our knowledge,this is the highest pulse compression ratio achieved in a single-stage MPC with bulk material as the nonlinear medium. The laser power stability and the beam quality(M2) before and after the MPC are also experimentally studied. Both the laser power stability and the beam quality are barely deteriorated by the MPC device.展开更多

Aims Species abundance distributions(SADs)are often used to verify mechanistic theories underlying community assembly.However,it is now accepted that SADs alone are not sufficient to reveal biological mechanisms.Recen...Aims Species abundance distributions(SADs)are often used to verify mechanistic theories underlying community assembly.However,it is now accepted that SADs alone are not sufficient to reveal biological mechanisms.Recent attention focuses on the relative importance of stochastic dispersal processes versus deterministic processes such as interspecific competition and environmental filtering.Here,we combine a study of the commonness and rarity of species(i.e.the SAD)with mechanistic processes underlying community composition.By comparing the occurrence frequen-cies of each and every species with its abundance,we quantify the relative contributions of common and rare species to the maintenance of community structure.Essentially,we relate the continuum between commonness and rarity with that of niches and neutrality.Methods An individual-based,spatially explicit model was used to simu-late local communities in niche spaces with the same parameters.We generated sets of assemblages from which species were elim-inated in opposing sequences:from common to rare and from rare to common,and investigated the relationship between the abundance and frequency of species.We tested the predictions of our model with empirical data from a field experiment in the environmentally homogeneous alpine meadows of the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau.Important Findings Our simulations support the widespread notion that common species maintain community structure,while rare species maintain species diversity,in both local and regional communities.Our results,both from theoretical simulations and from empirical observations,revealed positive correlations between the abundance of a particular species and its occurrence frequency.SAD curves describe a continuum between commonness and rarity.Removing species from the‘rare’end of this continuum has little effect on the similarity of communities,but remov-ing species from the‘common’end of the continuum causes significant increases in beta diversity,or species turnover,between communities.In local communities distributed in a homogenous habitat,species located at the‘common’end of the continuum should be selected by environmental filtering,with niche space partitioning governed by interspecific competition.Conversely,species located at the‘rare’end of the continuum are most likely subject to stochastic dispersal pro-cesses.Species situated at intermediate locations on this continuum are therefore determined by niche and neutral processes acting together.Our results suggest that,in homogeneous habitats,SAD curves describ-ing the common-rare continuum may also be used to describe the con-tinuum between niches and neutrality.展开更多

文摘Rotating machinery is widely applied in industrial applications.Fault diagnosis of rotating machinery is vital in manufacturing system,which can prevent catastrophic failure and reduce financial losses.Recently,Deep Learning(DL)-based fault diagnosis method becomes a hot topic.Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is an effective DL method to extract the features of raw data automatically.This paper develops a fault diagnosis method using CNN for InfRared Thermal(IRT)image.First,IRT technique is utilized to capture the IRT images of rotating machinery.Second,the CNN is applied to extract fault features from the IRT images.In the end,the obtained features are fed into the Softmax Regression(SR)classifier for fault pattern identification.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated using two different experimental data.Results show that the proposed method has a superior performance in identification various faults on rotor and bearings comparing with other deep learning models and traditional vibration-based method.
文摘The complex genetic architecture of quality traits has hindered efforts to modify seed nutrients in soybean. Genome-wide association studies were conducted for seed composition, including protein, oil, fatty acids, and amino acids, using 313 diverse soybean germplasm accessions genotyped with a high-density SNP array. A total of 87 chromosomal regions were identified to be associated with seed composition, explain- ing 8%-89% of genetic variances. The candidate genes GmSAT1, AK-HSDH, SACPD-C, and FAD3A of known function, and putative MtN21 nodulin, FATB, and steroid-5-^-reductase involved in N2 fixation, amino acid biosynthesis, and fatty acid metabolism were found at the major-effect loci. Further analysis of additional germplasm accessions indicated that these major-effect loci had been subjected to domes- tication or modern breeding selection, and the allelic variants and distributions were relevant to geographic regions. We also revealed that amino acid concentrations related to seed weight and to total protein had a different genetic basis. This helps uncover the in-depth genetic mechanism of the intricate relationships among the seed compounds. Thus, our study not only provides valuable genes and markers for soybean nutrient improvement, both quantitatively and qualitatively, but also offers insights into the alteration of soybean quality during domestication and breeding.
文摘Community question answering (CQA) represents the type of Web applications where people can exchange knowledge via asking and answering questions. One significant challenge of most real-world CQA systems is the lack of effective matching between questions and the potential good answerers, which adversely affects the efficient knowledge acquisition and circulation. On the one hand, a requester might experience many low-quality answers without receiving a quality response in a brief time; on the other hand, an answerer might face numerous new questions without being able to identify the questions of interest quickly. Under this situation, expert recommendation emerges as a promising technique to address the above issues. Instead of passively waiting for users to browse and find their questions of interest, an expert recommendation method raises the attention of users to the appropriate questions actively and promptly. The past few years have witnessed considerable efforts that address the expert recommendation problem from different perspectives. These methods all have their issues that need to be resolved before the advantages of expert recommendation can be fully embraced. In this survey, we first present an overview of the research efforts and state-of-the-art techniques for the expert recommendation in CQA. We next summarize and compare the existing methods concerning their advantages and shortcomings, followed by discussing the open issues and future research directions.

文摘We demonstrate a harmonically pumped femtosecond optical parametric oscillator(OPO)laser using a frequency-doubled mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at a repetition rate of 75.5 MHz as the pump laser.Based on a bismuth borate nonlinear crystal,repetition rates up to 1.13 GHz are realized,which is 15 times that of the pump laser.The signal wavelength is tunable from 700 nm to 887 nm.The maximum power of the signal is 207 m W at the central wavelength of 750 nm and the shortest pulse duration is 117 fs at 780 nm.The beam quality(M^2 factor)in the horizontal and vertical directions of the output beam are 1.077 and 1.141,respectively.

文摘We report on a high-power diode-pumped Yb∶KG(WO_(4))_(2)(Yb:KGW) mode-locked laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror(SESAM). For 32.7 W of incident pump power, we generate 261 fs pulses with the maximum average output power of up to 13.0 W and spectrum centered around 1039 nm at 68.4 MHz, corresponding to 190 n J of single pulse energy and0.72 MW of peak power. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is 39.8%, and the slope efficiency is 64.4%. The Yb:KGW laser exhibits a power stability better than 0.543% of the root-mean-square in 2 h.

文摘We demonstrate nonlinear pulse compression of an 8 k Hz Nd:YVO4 picosecond laser using the multi-pass-cell(MPC) technique with fused silica as the nonlinear medium. The pulse duration is compressed from 12.5 ps to 601 fs, corresponding to a pulse shortening factor of 20.8. The output pulse energy is 154 μJ with an efficiency of 74.5%. To the best of our knowledge,this is the highest pulse compression ratio achieved in a single-stage MPC with bulk material as the nonlinear medium. The laser power stability and the beam quality(M2) before and after the MPC are also experimentally studied. Both the laser power stability and the beam quality are barely deteriorated by the MPC device.

文摘We demonstrate a diode-pumped femtosecond Yb:CaGdAlO_(4)(Yb:CALGO)laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror(SESAM)for stable mode-locking operation.A perfect beam profile is measured under 10 W output power with M_(x)^(2)=1.017 and M_(y)^(2)=1.016 in the horizontal and vertical directions,respectively.At the repetition rate of 71.66 MHz,the optical pulse duration is 247 fs and the pulse energy is 140 nJ at the central wavelength of 1041 nm,corresponding to a peak power of 0.56 MW.In addition,we also generate continuous wave(CW)power of more than 15 W with TEM00 mode,corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 44.1%.

文摘Aims Species abundance distributions(SADs)are often used to verify mechanistic theories underlying community assembly.However,it is now accepted that SADs alone are not sufficient to reveal biological mechanisms.Recent attention focuses on the relative importance of stochastic dispersal processes versus deterministic processes such as interspecific competition and environmental filtering.Here,we combine a study of the commonness and rarity of species(i.e.the SAD)with mechanistic processes underlying community composition.By comparing the occurrence frequen-cies of each and every species with its abundance,we quantify the relative contributions of common and rare species to the maintenance of community structure.Essentially,we relate the continuum between commonness and rarity with that of niches and neutrality.Methods An individual-based,spatially explicit model was used to simu-late local communities in niche spaces with the same parameters.We generated sets of assemblages from which species were elim-inated in opposing sequences:from common to rare and from rare to common,and investigated the relationship between the abundance and frequency of species.We tested the predictions of our model with empirical data from a field experiment in the environmentally homogeneous alpine meadows of the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau.Important Findings Our simulations support the widespread notion that common species maintain community structure,while rare species maintain species diversity,in both local and regional communities.Our results,both from theoretical simulations and from empirical observations,revealed positive correlations between the abundance of a particular species and its occurrence frequency.SAD curves describe a continuum between commonness and rarity.Removing species from the‘rare’end of this continuum has little effect on the similarity of communities,but remov-ing species from the‘common’end of the continuum causes significant increases in beta diversity,or species turnover,between communities.In local communities distributed in a homogenous habitat,species located at the‘common’end of the continuum should be selected by environmental filtering,with niche space partitioning governed by interspecific competition.Conversely,species located at the‘rare’end of the continuum are most likely subject to stochastic dispersal pro-cesses.Species situated at intermediate locations on this continuum are therefore determined by niche and neutral processes acting together.Our results suggest that,in homogeneous habitats,SAD curves describ-ing the common-rare continuum may also be used to describe the con-tinuum between niches and neutrality.
