A Si-based micro-detonator is ...For the chip integration of MEMS(micro-electromechanical system) safety and arming device, a miniature detonator needs to be developed to reduce the weight and volume of explosive train. A Si-based micro-detonator is designed and fabricated, which meets the requirement of MEMS safety and arming device. The firing sensitivity of micro-detonator is tested according to GJB/z377A-94 sensitivity test methods:Langlie. The function time of micro-detonator is measured using wire probe and photoelectric transducer. The result shows the average firing voltage is 6.4 V when the discharge capacitance of firing electro-circuit is 33 mF. And the average function time is 5.48 ms. The firing energy actually utilized by Si-based micro-detonator is explored.展开更多
Refractory antibiotics in domestic wastewater are hard to be completely eliminated by conventional methods,and then lead to severe environmental contamination and adverse effects on public health.In present work,advan...Refractory antibiotics in domestic wastewater are hard to be completely eliminated by conventional methods,and then lead to severe environmental contamination and adverse effects on public health.In present work,advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)are adopted to remove the antibiotic of sul-fachloropyridazine(SCP).Nanosized Mn_(2)O_(3) was fabricated on the SBA-15 material to catalytically acti-vate potassium peroxydisulfate(PDS)to generate reactive oxygen radicals of.OH and SO_(4).for SCP degradation.The effects of location and size of Mn_(2)O_(3) were explored through choosing either the as-made or template free SBA-15 as the precursor of substrate.Great influences from the site and size of Mn_(2)O_(3) on the oxidation activity were discovered.It was found that Mn_(2)O_(3) with a large size at the exterior of SBA-15(Mn-tfSBA)was slightly easier to degrade SCP at a low manganese loading of 1.0-2.0 mmol.g;however,complete SCP removal could only be achieved on the catalyst of Mn_(2)O_(3) with a refined size at the interior of SBA-15(Mn-asSBA).Moreover,the SO_(4).species were revealed to be the decisive radicals in the SCP degradation processes.Exploring the as-made mesoporous silica as a support provides a new idea for the further development of environmentally friendly catalysts.展开更多

However, more and more evidence shows that it has many other functions, such as tRNA precursor processing, stress sensing and it is also involved in gene silencing, senescence and cell cycle regulation. Here, we summarize the recent understandings about the nucleolar functions, the regulation of nucleolar localization of proteins and the role that the nucleolus plays in virus infection, in which some related studies of Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) US11, UL24 and bovine herpesvirus-1 infected cell protein 27 (BICP27) carried out in our lab will also be included.展开更多
Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is the causative agent of cold sores and other more serious diseases. HSV-1 infected-cell protein 27 (ICP27) is an immediate-early regulatory phosphoprotein homologous to gene produ...Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is the causative agent of cold sores and other more serious diseases. HSV-1 infected-cell protein 27 (ICP27) is an immediate-early regulatory phosphoprotein homologous to gene products identified in all classes of herpesviruses so far. To raise the antiserum to ICP27 for further characterization of its biological function, the ICP27 gene was cloned into the pET-28a (+) vector, then ICP27 protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by nickel-nitrilotriacetic acid (Ni 2+ -NTA) affinity resin column, finally the purified protein was used to raise antiserum. Western blot analysis demonstrated that the antiserum recognized the recombinant protein, and the antiserum was able to probe the ICP27 in HSV-1 infected cells with high specificity by immunofluorescence assay (IFA). Therefore, the specific antiserum will provide a valuable tool for further studies investigating ICP27's biological function during HSV-1 infection.展开更多
