Effects of Different Alkaloids in Coptis chinensis on Inhibiting TGEV Proliferation

[Objectives]To study the effects of different alkaloids in Coptis chinensis on inhibiting the proliferation of Transmissible gastroenteritis virus(TGEV).[Methods]The components and content of the main alkaloids in the extract of C.chinensis were analyzed.The main alkaloids were selected as drugs to inhibit the proliferation of TGEV.The maximum non-toxic concentration of Columbamine,Jatrorrhizine,Epiberberine,Coptisine,Palmatine,and Berberine was screened.The protective rate of each drug on TGEV-infected ST cells was determined,and the transcriptional inhibitory effect of the drug on TGEV N gene was detected by fluorescent quantitative PCR.[Results]The extract of C.chinensis mainly contains 6 alkaloids:Columbamine,Jatrorrhizine,Epiberberine,Coptisine,Palmatine,and Berberine,accounting for 2.03%,8.88%,9.21%,15.07%,14.63%,and 50.18%,respectively.In the range of the safe concentration,Jatrorrhizine,Palmatine,and Coptisine had better protective effects on ST cells infected with TGEV;compared with the Columbamine group,the cell protection rate was significantly different(P<0.05);compared with the Berberine group,the difference was extremely significant(P<0.01).The Coptisine and Palmatine groups had significant inhibitory effects on the transcription of TGEV N gene,and the difference was extremely significant compared with the virus group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Jatrorrhizine and Palmatine in C.chinensis are the main components to inhibit the proliferation of TGEV. 展开更多

Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), a class of anionic clays consisting of brucite-like host layers and interlayer anions, have been widely investigated in the last decade due to their promising applications in many areas such as catalysis, ion separation and adsorption. Owing to the highly tunable compositi on and uniform distribution of metal cations in the brucite-like layers, as well as the facile exchangeability of intercalated anions, LDHs can be modified and functionalized to form various nanostructures/composites through versatile processes such as anion intercalation and exfoliation, decoration of nanoparticles, selfassembly with other two-dimensional (2D) materials, and controlled growth on conductive supports (e.g., nanowire arrays, nano tubes, 3D foams). In this article, we briefly review the recent advances on both the LDH nano structures and functionalized composites toward the applications in energy conversion, especially for water oxidation. 展开更多

In this work,the super-hydrophobic(SH)surface was prepared through chemical vapor deposition process by an argon atmospheric pressure plasma jet source with HMDSN(hexamethyldisilazane)as the polymerization precursor.Plasma synthesized organosilicon(SiOxCyHz)thin films with water contact angle over 160°and sliding angle below 5°,were able to be achieved.FTIR and XPS analysis indicates a large number of hydrocarbon compositions were polymerized in the thin films enduing the latter very-low surface free energy.SEM shows the SH films display micro-nanostructure and with high degree of averaged surface roughness 190 nm evaluated by AFM analysis.From experiments under controlled low-temperature and moisture conditions,the prepared SH surface exhibits good anti-icing effects.Significantly prolonging freezing time was achievable on the SH thin films for both static and sliding water droplets.This investigation demonstrates the anti-icing potentials of SH surface prepared through low-cost simple atmospheric-pressure plasma polymerization process. 展开更多

Flow through arrays of micropillar embedded inside microfluidic chip systems is important for various microfluidic devices. It is critical to accurately predict the mass flow rate through pillar arrays based on the pillar design. This work presents a dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) model to simulate a problem of flow across periodic arrays of circular micropillar and investigates the permeability of two types of micropillar arrays. The flow fields including horizontal and vertical velocity fields, the number density field, and the streamline of the flow are analyzed. The predicted solid volumes by the presented DPD simulation of both types of arrays are quite close to the actual counterparts. These quantitative agreements show usefulness and effectiveness of the DPD model in simulating arrays of micropillar. By comparing two types of micropillar arrangement patterns, we find that the arrangement pattern of micropillar does not have significant influence on the permeability of the array. 展开更多

Ni0.5Co0.5(OH)2 nanosheets coated CuCo2O4 nanoneedles arrays were successfully designed and synthe- sized on carbon fabric. The core/shell nanoarchitectures directly served as the binder-free electrode with a superior capacity of 295.6 mAh g-1 at 1 Ag-1, which still maintained 220 mAh g-1 even at the high current density of 40 A g-l, manifesting their enormous potential in hybrid supercapacitor devices. The asassembled CuCo2O4@Ni0.5Co0.5(OH)2]]AC hybrid supercapacitor device exhibited favorable properties with the specific capacitance as high as 90 F g 1 at 1 A g-1 and the high energy density of 32 Wh kg 1 at the power density of 800 Wkg-1. Furthermore, the as-assembled device also delivered excellent cycling performance (retaining 91.9% of the initial capacitance after 12,000 cycles at 8 A g 1) and robust mechanical stability and flexibility, implying the huge potential of present hierarchical electrodes in energy storage devices. 展开更多
