The platelet count;vascular activity-related factors v WF, VCAM-1, and TM;and VEGF and b FGF were used as observational indicators. Results: On the 8th day of administration, compared with the model group, platelet counts in the prednisone and JYSD groups increased(both P <.001). Compared with the control group, the levels of v WF, VCAM-1, and TM in the other groups were lower(all P <.05). The VCAM-1 level in the JYSD group was higher than that in the prednisone group(P =.012), but without significant difference compared with the model group(P =.051). The TM level in the JYSD group was the lowest(vs. the model group,P =.047;vs. the prednisone group, P =.006). Compared with the control group, the IOD values of VEGF and b FGF in the other three groups were lower(all P <.01). The IOD values of VEGF in the prednisone and JYSD groups were both higher than those in the model group(P =.002 and P <.001, respectively). The IOD values of b FGF among the model, prednisone, and JYSD groups were not statistically significant(P >.05).Conclusion: A vascular factor disorder is involved in the pathogenesis of ITP. JYSD can increase the platelet count, upregulate VEGF expression, and reduce the TM level. JYSD has the same effect as prednisone tablets in regulating platelet, v WF, VEGF, and b FGF, with a stronger effect in normalizing VCAM-1 and TM levels. The hemostatic mechanism of JYSD is closely related to the effective balance of vascular factors.展开更多

In this algorithm, dynamic adaptation to phase fluctuations maintained constant measurement results of spectral line positions and intensities. A mode-resolved broadband absorption spectrum was obtained over the full-spectral range of the comb with a Hertz linewidth of radio frequency comb mode. The measured spectrum spanned over 10 THz, which covered the multiplexed absorption regions of mixed gases, such as CO2 and N2 O. The calibrated interferograms were also capable of direct coherent averaging in the time domain. The transmittance obtained deviated from the theoretical calculation by no more than 2% in the whole spectral span.展开更多

文摘Tannin foam is a new functional material. It can be widely applied to the automobile industry, construction industry, and packaging industry due to its wide range of raw materials, renewable, easily degraded, low cost and almost no pollution.Preparing tannin foam is a very complex process that includes high temperature, two phases, mechanical agitation, and phase change. To investigate the influence of the stirring velocity and paddle shape, simulation was calculated by making use of the volume of fluid(VOF)method and multiple reference frame(MRF)method in a three-dimensional flow field of tannin-based foaming precursor resin. The gas holdup and velocity magnitude were analysed with various conditions of mechanical velocities and paddle shape in the stirring flow field. The result shows the higher the velocity, the greater the disturbance and paddle shape between the eggbeater and the Rushton turbine, obviously the paddle shape of the eggbeater with a wider range of agitation, which can entrap more air into the tannin-based foaming precursor resin in a short time.Especially when the speed is 1500 rpm,the flow field of the Rushton turbine comes out of a ditch, which decreases the efficiency of mass transfer;there is less air to mix into the tannin-based foaming precursor resin, which causes unevenness. At the same time, the eggbeater shows the marvelous capability of hybrid as it has two vortexes and multiple cycles that make a difference from the Rushton turbine, which has only one vortex and two upper and lower loops;the structure makes the flow field more stable allowed evenness of flow field tannin-based foaming precursor resin. The results reveal that it is beneficial for tannin-based foaming precursor resin to use an eggbeater with a speed of 1500 rpm to reduce the consumption of resources while obtaining a uniform flow field.
文摘Wood plays a major role in the production of furniture and wooden structures.Nevertheless,in this process, the massive use of adhesives and plural connectors remains a definite problem for health and the environment. Therefore, wood welding is a breakthrough in this respect. This paper reviews the applications of wood welding in furniture and construction and then examines advances in improving the durability of welded wood against water. Our contribution also highlights the need to join African tropical woods using the rotational friction welding technique.According to our results, these woods present interesting chemical singularities, which could provide solutions to the water vulnerability of the welded wood. Moreover, the use of such a joining method would first free the Cameroonian furniture industry from the chemical industry, secondly position it at the forefront of new eco-design trends and thirdly make it competitive with other countries in the Central African sub-region.These works enrich the long and rich bibliography on the technique of wood welding, which has long been conspicuous by its absence of tropical woods.

文摘In aquaculture,high-density seaweed farming brings higher economic benefits but also increases outbreaks of diatom felt. The effective control of diatom felt in high-density seaweed farming has always been a research hotspot. This study selected two potential allelochemicals 2-hydroxycinnamic acid and quinic acid to explore their effects on a diatom Nitzschia closterium and an economic seaweed Monostroma nitidum. The results showed that 2-hydroxycinnamic acid had better inhibitory effects than quinic acid on the growth, pigment content and photosynthetic efficiency of N.closterium.Their half-maximal inhibitory concentrations at 120 h(IC_(50–120 h))were 0.9000 and 1.278 mM,respectively.Additionally, these allelochemicals had limited inhibitory effects on the growth, pigment content and photosynthetic efficiency of M.nitidum before 24 h.To further explore the allelopathic effect of these chemicals, this study focused on the photosystem II energy fluxes of N.closterium.It was found that 3 mM 2-hydroxycinnamic acid could destroy the whole photosynthetic system by devastating the PSII reaction centre(RC)before 24 h;however, the same concentration of quinic acid could only down-regulate the electron transport efficiency by changing the effective antenna size of an active RC and downregulating the PSII reaction centre density. These experimental results are expected to provide a new strategy to control diatom felt blooms on the high-density seaweed farming areas.

文摘Glioma is the most common primary brain tumor.Exploration of new tumorigenesis mechanism of glioma is critical to determine more effective treatment targets as well as to develop effective prognosis methods that can enhance the treatment efficacy. We previously demonstrated that the deubiquitinase biquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase L5(UCHL5)was downregulated in human glioma. However, the effect and mechanism of UCHL5 on the proliferation of glioma cells remains unknown. Methods:Transfection of siRNA was used to knockdown the expression of UCHL5 in U251 cells. The 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay,Edu assay, and colony formation assay were employed to identify the effect of UCHL5 on the proliferation of U251 glioma cells.Western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR were carried out to detect the interaction of UCHL5 and PTEN.The effect of UCHL5 on the growth of glioma in vivo was evaluated in nude mice. Then Immunohistochemistry(IHC)were performed to analysis the expression of UCHL5 and PTEN in human glioma tissues. Results:Here,we have reported that silencing of UCHL5 could promote the proliferation of U251 glioma cells through MTT assay,Edu assay, and colony formation assay.Mechanically,we revealed that UCHL5 stabilizes the phosphatase and tensin homolog(PTEN)expression by deubiquitination, thereby inhibiting cell proliferation in U251 cells.Tumor xenograft experiments further demonstrated that silencing the UCHL5 expression could accelerate U251 cell growth in vivo. Finally,in human glioma tissue microarray, the positive correlation between UCHL5 and PTEN expression was confirmed through IHC assay.Conclusion:UCHL5 restrains the proliferation of U251 glioma cells by stabilizing and deubiquitinating PTEN.Our findings provide ideas for developing enhanced targeted PTEN therapy for patients with glioma.
文摘Soy-protein isolate(SPI)was used to prepare non-isocyanate polyurethane(NIPU)thermosetting adhesives for wood panels by reacting it with dimethyl carbonate(DMC)and hexamethylene diamine. Both linear as well as branched oligomers were obtained and identified, indicating how such oligomer structures could further cross-link to form a hardened network.Unusual structures were observed, namely carbamic acid-derived urethane linkages coupled with lactam structures. The curing of the adhesive was followed by thermomechanical analysis(TMA).It appeared to follow a two stages process:First,at a lower temperature(maximum 130℃),the growth of linear oligomers occurred, finally forming a physically entangled network. This appeared to collapse and disentangle, causing a decrease of MOE,as the temperature increases. This appears to be due to the ever more marked Brownian movements of the linear oligomer chains with the increase of the temperature.Second, chemical cross-linking of the chains appeared to ensue, forming a hardened network. This was shown by the thermomechanical analysis(TMA)showing two distinct MOE maxima peaks, one around 130℃ and the other around 220℃,with a very marked MOE decrease between the two.Plywood panels were prepared and bonded with the SPI-NIPU wood adhesive and the results obtained are presented. The adhesive appeared to pass comfortably the requirements for dry strength of relevant standards, showing to be suitable for interior grade plywood panels. It did not pass the requirements for wet tests. However, addition of 15%of glycerol diglycidyl ether improved the wet tests results but still not enough to satisfy the standards requirements.
文摘Objective:This study investigated the regulatory effect of non-classical immune parameters on immune thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP)mice by a spleen-invigorating,qi-replenishing and blood-containing formula(SQBF).Method:A total of 80 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into four equal groups(20 mice each):control group, model group, prednisone group and spleen-invigorating,qi-replenishing and blood-containing(SQBF)group.Mice in the model group, prednisone group, and SQBF group were administered anti-platelet serum to induce ITP.The dynamic variations of platelet counts in ITP mice were measured with an automatic blood analyzer before modeling and 48 h,and 8,12 and 15 days following APS injection.Levels of b-endorphin(b-EP),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)and salivary IgA(SIgA)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)on 15th day of experiment. Results:SQBF enhanced peripheral blood platelet counts in ITP mice similar to that of prednisone, and both groups showed a statistically significant response compared with the model group(P<.01).The SQBF significantly decreased b-EP levels compared with the model and prednisone intervention groups(P<.05),significantly increased the levels of VIP and SIgA in ITP mice compared with the model group(P<.05)and had significant protective effects on the thymus of ITP mice compared with the model group(P<.01).Conclusions:The SQBF had a similar effect to prednisone with regards to enhancing peripheral blood platelet counts in ITP mice.Furthermore,it decreased b-EP levels and increased VIP and SIgA,and protected the thymus. This shows that,on base of the brain-gut axis functions, some non-classical immune vascular active factors or neurotransmitters are also involved in immune responses, and also have relationship with the onset of ITP and bleeding and/or hemostasis. It needs further study to determine whether a change in these active factors is related to immediate hemostasis.

文摘Wet dust removal is one of the main technical measures in coal dust control, and coal dust wetting is the key factor to determine the effect of wet dust removal. In order to explore the micro-wetting process of coal dust, this paper uses molecular dynamics simulation to study the micro-wetting process of coal dust in different simulation conditions. The molecular dynamics simulation was carried out under different ensemble, thermodynamic states as well as relaxation pretreatment methods, then the H_(2)O molecular layer and coal dust molecular layer in each simulation were quantitatively analyzed by relative concentration. The research results show that a method for establishing molecular model of lignite is proposed and the 2D periodic surface structure is more reasonable. The surface system of coal-H_(2)O molecule is established by NVT aeration method, where the simulation result is close to the actual coal dust wetting process. The simulation effect of medium and large coal dust-H_(2)O molecular system is better than that of small coal dust-H_(2)O molecular system. This study provides a new solution for changing the empirical method of molecular dynamics simulation of coal system wetting and oversimplification of coal system.
文摘ABSTRACT Non-isocyanate polyurethane(NIPU)foams using a hydrolysable tannin, also vulgarly called tannic acid, namely here commercial chestnut wood tannin extract was prepared.Compression strength did not appear to depend on the foam apparent density while the formulation composition of the NIPU foams has been shown to be more determinant. These NIPU foams appeared to be self-extinguishing once the high temperature flame is removed. The ignition time gave encouraging results but for improved fire resistance the foams may need some fire-retardant addition.FTIR spectrometry showed the formation of non-isocyanate urethane linkages.Thermogravimetric analysis indicated a good thermal resistance of these foams, with thermal degradation following four phases.First in the interval 25℃–120℃ range, mainly evaporation of water occurs with a maximal loss of 10%weight.In the 150℃–450℃ temperature range foams mass loss is of almost 70%.In particular in the 125℃–275℃ range occurs the degradation of some small molecular weight substances. In the 500℃–790℃ temperature range the foams do not present any further large degradation.

文摘Objective: To explore the hemostatic mechanism of Jianpi Yiqi Shexue decoction(JYSD) by regulating vascular factors in an immune thrombocytopenia(ITP) mouse model. Methods: An ITP mouse model was established by the passive-immune modeling method, and interventional drugs used were prednisone tablets and JYSD. The hemostatic mechanism of JYSD is closely related to the effective balance of vascular factors.

文摘Blood-arresting Formula on simvastatin-induced zebrafish hemorrhage model compared with that of the Heat-clearing and Blood-cooling Formula. Methods:AB strain wild type zebrafish were treated with 0.5 mM simvastatin for 24 hours to establish the zebrafish hemorrhage model.Under strictly blind experimental conditions, the zebrafish were then treated with experimental agents in different concentration within the maximum non-lethal dose. The intervention effect of the Spleen-invigorating,Qi-replenishing and Blood-arresting Formula was comprehensively assessed by examining the main observational parameters such as the bleeding reduction rate and hemostatic rate while referring to the additional parameters such as blood flow, improvement rate of blood flow, velocity of movement, improvement rate of motion under spleen-qi deficiency. Results:Hemostatic effect:The bleeding rate and hemostatic rate in the zebrafish were respectively,30%,15%,45%,40%and 60%,80%,40%,47%when equal concentration of 500 mg/mL,1000 mg/mL were used. This showed that the experimental herbs B1 was superior to B2 in decreasing the bleeding rate and improving hemostatic effect in the zebrafish.Improvement of blood flow:With equal concentration, the experimental herb B1 was superior to B2 in increasing the blood flow and improvement rate of blood flow in hemorrhagic zebrafish.Promotion of the improvement of motion:With equal concentration of 500 mg/mL and 1000 mg/mL,the experimental herb B1 was superior to B2 in promoting the velocity of motion in the zebrafish and promoting the improvement rate of motion. Conclusion:The manifestations of simvastatin-induced zebrafish hemorrhage are basically similar to that of failure of the spleen to control blood in human beings. The Spleeninvigorating,Qi-replenishing and Blood-arresting Formula has good hemostatic effect on simvastatin-induced hemorrhage in the zebrafish. It also boasts the functions of improving blood flow and velocity of motion in the hemorrhagic zebrafish.Such a conclusion provides the experimental basis for the treatment of the syndrome of failure of the spleen to control blood by this formula.
文摘This consensus statement is organized into six parts:1)Definitions:cancer-related depressed mood state is defined as a group of depressive symptoms, rather than major depressive disorder.Thus,“cancer-related depression”or“depressed mood state”is introduced as standard terminology and associated with the Chinese medicine concept of“yu zheng”(depression syndrome).2)Pathogenesis:factors including psychological stress, cancer pain, cancer fatigue, sleep disorders, surgery trauma, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy are strongly associated with cancer-related depressed mood state.Crucial elements of pathogenesis are cancer caused by depression, depression caused by cancer, and the concurrence of phlegm, dampness, and stasis from constrained liver-qi and spleen deficiency.3)Symptoms:these include core symptoms, psychological symptoms, and somatic symptoms.Depressed mood and loss of interest are the main criteria for diagnosis.4)Clinical evaluation:based on the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview and a numeric rating scale, and taking mood changes during cancer diagnosis and treatment into consideration,a questionnaire can be drafted to distinguish between major depressive disorder and cancer-related depression. The aim is to assist oncology clinicians to identify, treat, and refer patients with cancer-related depression.5)Diagnosis:diagnosis should be based on the Chinese Classification for Mental Disorders(CCMD-3),taking patients’mood changes during diagnosis and treatment into consideration.6)Treatment:treatments for cancer-related depression must be performed concurrently with cancer treatment. For mild depression,non-pharmacologic comprehensive therapies, including psychological intervention, music therapy, patient education, physical activity, and acupuncture, are recommended;for moderate depression, classical Chinese herbal formulas based on syndrome pattern differentiation combined with antidepressants are suggested;for severe depressive symptoms that have progressed to major depressive disorder, patients should be referred to a psychiatric clinician for specialized care.

文摘From the perspective of error compensation in the sampling process, a digital calibration algorithm was studied for the processing of spectral data in dual-comb spectroscopy. The transmittance obtained deviated from the theoretical calculation by no more than 2% in the whole spectral span.

文摘Objective:To investigate the anti-cancer effects and mechanism of modified Liangfu granule(MLFG)in BGC-823 gastric cancer cells. Methods:The drug serum was extracted from abdominal aorta of Wistar rats treated by cyclophosphamide,dioscin,MLFG(high-,medium-,and low-dose),respectively.MTS assay was performed to detect the effect of different concentrations of MLFG and dioscin on cell growth. The effect of MLFG on cellular apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry.Western blot was used to examine Bcl-2 and Akt in BGC-823 cells treated with MLFG.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction assay was performed to determine the expression level of caspase-3,E2F1 and E2F3 genes in cells treated by MLFG-and dioscin-containing serum.Results:MLFG-and dioscin-containing serum inhibited the cell proliferation of BGC-823 cells.MLFG induced gastric carcinoma cell apoptosis and inhibited the expression of Bcl-2 and Akt in a dosedependent manner.MLFG also significantly induced the gene expression of caspase-3 and downregulated E2F1 and E2F3 gene expression. Conclusion:The effect of MLFG and dioscin on inhibiting cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis of gastric cancer cells might be related to the regulation of Bcl-2 and Akt proteins and the expression of caspase-3,E2F1 and E2F3 genes.
文摘Objective:To explore new mechanisms of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)spleen-based treatment of immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) from the perspective of blood neurotransmitters. Methods:In this randomized controlled multi-center clinical study,271 ITP patients who met the diagnostic criteria of 'syndrome of spleen failing to manage blood' were randomized into three groups:group A administered Jianpi Yiqi Shexue (JYS) granules,1 bag per treatment, bid;group C administered prednisone as a draught at an initial dose of 1.0-1.5 mg/kg/day at 8:00 AM;and group B administered a combination of the interventions in groups A and C.Each treatment cycle lasted 21 days. Results:After treatment, scores of platelet distribution width (PDW) were significantly decreased in groups B and C,and there were significant differences among the three groups (P =.0131).Pairwise comparisons showed that PDW was significantly different between group A and group B (P =.005) and between group A and group C (P =.041) but not between group B and group C.Hemorrhage grading scores were significantly different between day 1 and day 7 in group A and group B (P <.001) but not in group C.The hemorrhage grading scores on day 14 and day 21 were significantly different from that on day 1 in all three groups (P <.001).Serum 5-hydroxytryptaminelevels did not change significantly before and after treatment in the three groups (P >.05).Serum β-endorphin and vasoactive intestinal peptide levels were significantly different between group A and group B (both P <.001).Conclusions:The JYS prescription may regulate the expression levels of blood neurotransmitters via the brain-gut axis in patients with 'spleen deficiency' ITP and thus activate hemostatic mechanisms to promote hemostasis.β-EP and VIP are key neurotransmitters of the JYS-induced functional regulation.

文摘Electrocatalysis, which involves oxidation and reduction reactions with direct electron transfer,is essential for a variety of clean energy conversion devices.Currently, the vast majority of studies regarding electrocatalysis reactions focus on strong acidic or alkaline media because of the higher catalytic activity.Nevertheless, some inherent drawbacks, including the corrosive environment, expensive proton exchange membranes, and side effects, are still hard to break through.A sustainably promising way to overcome these shortcomings is to deploy neutral/near-neutral electrolytes for electrocatalysis reactions.Unfortunately, insufficient research in this area due to the lack of attention to related issues has slowed down the development process. In this review,we systematically review the catalytic reaction mechanisms, neutral electrolytes, electrocatalysts, and modification strategies carried out in neutral media on the three most common electrocatalytic reactions, that is,hydrogen evolution reaction, oxygen reduction reaction, and oxygen evolution reaction.Furthermore, the advanced characterization tools for guiding catalyst synthesis and mechanistic studies are also summarized.Eventually,we propose some challenges and perspectives on electrocatalysis reactions in neutral media and hope it will attract more research interest and provide guidance in neutral electrocatalysis.

文摘Iron-chromium redox flow batteries (ICRFBs) possess advantages of high safety, long cycle time, and lowcost.Increasing Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+)reaction activity is suggested as one of the most promising strategies to improve the performance and prolong the lifetime of ICRFBs.To improve the slow reaction kinetics of the negative electrode,a type of defected carbon cloth with Bismuth (Bi) catalyst introduction is prepared by defect engineering method and electrochemical deposition, which provided defect sites and active sites to catalyze the redox couple’s reaction of ICRFBs.Furthermore, this modified carbon cloth adsorbs Cr(Ⅲ)hydrate more easily, which has a more stable structure and can significantly improve the performance of ICRFBs.Both experimental analysis and theoretical calculation indicated that the modified electrode has excellent electrocatalytic ability, which can enhance the reaction rate of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+),improve capacity retention and stabilize cycling performance. The capacity degradation rate of an ICRFB single cell with the modified electrodes is just 0.23%per cycle at a current density of 140 m A/cm^(2).Additionally,the energy efficiency (EE) remains around 83%,which is 8.45%higher than that of the pristine electrode assembled battery under 60 cycles. This work supplies a simple method to obtain a high-performance electrode material for ICRFBs and makes it a practical solution to promote ICFRBs large-scale commercialization process.
