The lethality of a semi-preformed fragment warhead is closely related to the expand velocity and spatial distribution of the fragments from ruptured metal casing. The topic of how to improve the utilization of charge of have been drawing great attention from researchers and designer in this filed. In present paper,in order to investigate the influence of charge initiation manners on the scattering characteristics of semi-preformed fragment warhead, the numerical simulations and experimental test are conducted.Firstly, the influence of grid density on numerical results is investigated, and a proper numerical model with relatively high accuracy and effectiveness is determined. Then. numerical simulations of three kinds of different initiation position of a semi-preformed fragment warhead are carried out. An experimental test of the explosion of a semi-preformed fragment warhead is carried out. By comparing and analyzing the numerical results and experimental data, it is found that the initiation manners have great influence on scattering characteristics of semi-preformed fragment warhead. The researcher work of this paper would provide an effective alternative method to optimize the design of warhead. 展开更多

Background:Infections still represent the main factors influencing morbidity and mortality following liver transplantation.This study aimed to evaluate the incidence and risk factors for infection and survival after liver transplantation.Methods:We retrospectively examined medical records in 210 liver recipients who underwent liver transplantation between April 2015 and October 2017 in our hospital.Clinical manifestations and results of pathogen detection test were used to define infection.We analyzed the prevalence,risk factors and prognosis of patients with infection.Results:The median follow-up was 214 days;the incidence of infection after liver transplantation was 46.7%(n=98)which included pneumonia(43.4%),biliary tract infection(21.9%),peritonitis(21.4%)and bloodstream infection(7.6%).Among the pathogens in pneumonia,the most frequently isolated was Acinetobacter baumanii(23.5%)and Klebsiella pneumoniae(21.2%).Model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)score(OR=1.083,95%CI:1.045–1.123;P<0.001),biliary complication(OR=4.725,95%CI:1.119–19.947;P=0.035)and duration of drainage tube(OR=1.040,95%CI:1.007–1.074;P=0.017)were independent risk factors for posttransplant infection.All-cause mortality was 11.0%(n=23).The prognostic factors for postoperative infection in liver recipients were prior-transplant infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation.Kaplan-Meier curves of survival showed that recipients within 2 weeks prior infection had a significantly lower cumulative survival rate compared with those without infection(65.2%vs.90.0%;hazard ratio:4.480;P<0.001).Conclusions:Infection,especially pneumonia within 2 weeks before transplantation,complication with impaired renal function and MELD score after 7 days of transplantation was an independent prognostic factor for postoperative infection in liver transplant recipients. 展开更多

As an advanced near-net shape technology, squeeze casting is an excellent method for producing high integrity castings. Numerical simulation is a very effective method to optimize squeeze casting process, and the interfacial heat transfer coefficient(IHTC) is an important boundary condition in numerical simulation. Therefore, the study of the IHTC is of great significance. In the present study, experiments were conducted and a "plate shape" aluminum alloy casting was cast in H13 steel die. In order to obtain accurate temperature readings inside the die, a special temperature sensor units(TSU) was designed. Six 1 mm wide and 1 mm deep grooves were machined in the sensor unit for the placement of the thermocouples whose tips were welded to the end wall. Each groove was machined to terminate at a particular distance(1, 3, and 6 mm) from the front end of the sensor unit. Based on the temperature measurements inside the die, the interfacial heat transfer coefficient(IHTC) at the metal-die interface was determined by applying an inverse approach. The acquired data were processed by a low pass filtering method based on Fast Fourier Transform(FFT). The feature of the IHTC at the metal-die interface was discussed. 展开更多

In the present study, we investigated the role of endogenous neurotrophin-3 in nerve terminal sprouting 2 months after spinal cord dorsal root rhizotomy. The left L1-5 and L7-S2 dorsal root ganglia in adult cats were exposed and removed, preserving the L6 dorsal root ganglia. Neurotrophin-3 was mainly expressed in large neurons in the dorsal root ganglia and in some neurons in spinal lamina II. Two months after rhizotomy, the number of neurotrophin-3-positive neurons in the spared dorsal root ganglia and the density of neurite sprouts emerging from these ganglia were increased. Intraperitoneal injection of an antibody against neurotrophin-3 decreased the density of neurite sprouts. These findings suggest that endogenous neurotrophin-3 is involved in spinal cord plasticity and regeneration, and that it promotes axonal sprouting from the dorsal root ganglia after spinal cord dorsal root rhizotomy. 展开更多

In order to solve oscillation of head of the underwater snake-like robot,the Central Pattern Generator( CPG)-based control scheme with head-controller was presented. The Kane dynamic model was constructed to be processed with a commercial package MotionGenesis Kane 5. 3,to which the proposed control scheme was applied. The relation between CPG parameters and orientation offset of head was investigated. The target orientation of head-controller was calculated through a convenient method. The advantage of this control scheme is that the head of the underwater snake-like robot remains in the forward direction during swimming. To prove the feasibility of the proposed methodology,two basic motion patterns,swimming along the straight line and swimming along the curved path,had been implemented in our simulation platform. The results showed that the simulation platform can imitate the swimming of the underwater snake-like robot and the head of the underwater snake-like robot remains in a fixed orientation directed towards the target. The oscillation of head's orientation is inhibited effectively. 展开更多

In order to alleviate this shortage,a simulation platform for the underwater quadruped walking robot based on Kane dynamic model and CPG-based controller is constructed. The Kane dynamic model of the underwater quadruped walking robot is processed with a commercial package MotionGenesis Kane 5. 3. The forces between the feet and ground are represented as a spring and damper. The relation between coefficients of spring and damper and stability of underwater quadruped walking robot in the stationary state is studied. The CPG-based controller consisted of Central Pattern Generator( CPG) and PD controller is presented,which can be used to control walking of the underwater quadruped walking robot. The relation between CPG parameters and walking speed of underwater quadruped walking robot is investigated. The relation between coefficients of spring and damper and walking speed of underwater quadruped walking robot is studied. The results show that the simulation platform can imitate the stable walking of the underwater quadruped walking robot. 展开更多

This paper presents a disturbance rejection scheme for walking robots under unknown external forces and moments. The disturbance rejection strategy, which combines the inverse dynamics control with the acceleration projection onto the ZMP (zero moment point)-plane, can ensure the overall dynamic stability of the robot during tracking the pre-computed trajectories. Under normal conditions, i.e., the system is dynamically balanced, a primary inverse dynamics control is utilized. In the case that the system becomes unbalanced due to external disturbances, the acceleration projection control (APC) loop, will be activated to keep the dynamic stability of the walking robot through modifying the input torques. The preliminary experimental results on a robot leg demonstrate that the proposed method can actually make the robot keep a stable motion under unknown external perturbations. 展开更多

The solidification microstructure of Mg-Gd-YZr alloy was investigated via an experimental study and cellular automaton(CA)simulation.In this study,stepshaped castings were produced,and the temperature variation inside the casting was recorded using thermocouples during the solidification process.The effects of the cooling rate and Zr content on the grain size of the Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy were studied.The results showed that the grain size decreased with an increase in the cooling rate and Zr content.Based on the experimental data,a quantitative model for calculating the heterogeneous nucleation rate was developed,and the model parameters were determined.The evolution of the solidification microstructure was simulated using the CA method,where the quantitative nucleation model was used and a solute partition ceoefficient was introduced to deal with the solute trapping in front of the solid-liquid(S/L)interface.The simulation results of the grain size were in good agreement with the experimental data.The simulation also showed that the fraction of the eutectics decreased with an increasing cooling rate in the range of 2.6-11.0℃·s^(-1),which was verified indirectly by the experimental data. 展开更多

Three-dimensional(3D) thin-film electrodes are promising solution to the volume change of active materials in lithium-ion batteries.As a conductive current collector,the 3D TiO_(2) nanotube array networks(TNAs) have a one-dimensional stable electronic conductive path and increase the adhesion between the current collector and raw material,thereby improving the cycle stability of active materials.In this study,a novel 3D-TNAs@Sb_(2)S_(3) anode was fabricated by directly depositing natural stibnite onto3D TNAs.The adhesion of Sb_(2)S_(3) particles to the substrate was enhanced due to the large surface area provided by 3D-TNAs.Moreover,the porous layered structure composed of Sb_(2)S_(3) nanoparticles relieved the stress generated during lithiation and adapted to the volume change of Sb_(2)S_(3) during cycling.Therefore,the resulting composite anode exhibits high cycle and rate performance,reaching0.36 mAh·cm^(-2) after 80 cycles at the galvanostatic rate of1 mA·cm^(-2),with high coulombic efficiency of 98%. 展开更多
