[Objectives]The paper was to establish an ultra high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/linear ion trap complex mass spectrometry for the determination of 10 kinds ofα2-receptor agonists in animal derived food.[Methods]The samples were extracted with sodium carbonate buffer solution and ethyl acetate,and analyzed by mass spectrometry after solid phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography separation.[Results]Ten kinds ofα2-receptor agonists showed a good linear relationship in the range of 1-100μg/mL,with the average recovery of over 69%and the relative standard deviation less than 8.32%.The detection limit of 10 kinds of α_(2)-receptor agonists was up to 1μg/kg.[Conclusions]The method has good selectivity and strong anti-interference ability,and can meet the requirements of 10 kinds ofα2-receptor agonists residues in animal derived food. 展开更多

The safety and effectiveness of magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound thalamotomy has been broadly established and validated for the treatment of essential tremor.In 2018,the first magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound system in Chinese mainland was installed at the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital.This prospective,single center,open-label,single-arm study was part of a worldwide prospective multicenter clinical trial(ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:NCT03253991)conducted to confirm the safety and efficacy of magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound for treating essential tremor in the local population.From 2019 to 2020,10 patients with medication refractory essential tremor were recruited into this open-label,single arm study.The treatment efficacy was determined using the Clinical Rating Scale for Tremor.Safety was evaluated according to the incidence and severity of adverse events.All of the subjects underwent a unilateral thalamotomy targeting the ventral intermediate nucleus.At the baseline assessment,the estimated marginal mean of the Clinical Rating Scale for Tremor total score was 58.3±3.6,and this improved after treatment to 23.1±6.4 at a 12-month follow-up assessment.A total of 50 adverse events were recorded,and 2 were defined as serious.The most common intraoperative adverse events were nausea and headache.The most frequent postoperative adverse events were paresthesia and equilibrium disorder.Most of the adverse events were mild and usually disappeared within a few days.Our findings suggest that magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound for the treatment of essential tremor is effective,with a good safety profile,for patients in Chinese mainland. 展开更多

A system dynamics approach for water resources policy analysis in arid land:a model for Manas River Basin 被引量:14

The Manas River Basin in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, similar to other arid regions, is facing water constraints which challenge decision-makers as to how to rationally allocate the available water resources to meet the demands from industries and natural ecosystems. Policies which integrate the supply and demand are needed to address the water stress issues. An object-oriented system dynamics model was developed to capture the interrelationships between water availability and increasing water demands from the growth of industries, agri- cultural production and the population through modeling the decision-making process of the water exploration ex- plicitly, in which water stress is used as a major indicator. The model is composed of four sectors: 1 ) natural surface and groundwater resources; 2) water demand; 3) the water exploitation process, including the decision to build reservoirs, canals and pumps; 4) water stress to which political and social systems respond through increasing the supply, limiting the growth or improving the water use efficiency. The model was calibrated using data from 1949 to 2009 for population growth, irrigated land area, industry output, perceived water stress, groundwater resources availability and the drying-out process of Manas River; and simulations were carried out from 2010 to 2050 on an annual time step. The comparison of results from calibration and observation showed that the model corresponds to observed behavior, and the simulated values fit the observed data and trends accurately. Sensitivity analysis showed that the model is robust to changes in model parameters related to population growth, land reclamation, pumping capacity and capital contribution to industry development capacity. Six scenarios were designed to inves- tigate the effectiveness of policy options in the area of reservoir relocation, urban water recycling, water demand control and groundwater pumping control. The simulation runs demonstrated that the technical solutions for im- proving water availability and water use efficiency are not sustainable. Acknowledging the carrying capacity of water resources and eliminating a growth-orientated value system are crucial for the sustainability of the Manas River Basin. 展开更多

The MGM(1,m) with optimized background value is used to eliminate the random fluctuations or errors of the observational data of all variables, and the combined prediction model together with the multiple linear regression is established in order to improve the simulation and prediction accuracy of the combined model. Finally, a combined model of the MGM(1,2) with optimized background value and the binary linear regression is constructed by an example. A BiOCl-Bi12O17Cl2 nanocomposite with a high visible-light response and a low photoinduced electron-hole pair recombination rate was successfully synthesized using an ultrasonic-hydrothermal method.The texture,structure,optical,and photocatalytic properties of the composite were characterized.The results showed that the composite had a sheet flower-like structure with a large specific surface area.Ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectra and photoluminescence spectra showed that the composite had an excellent visible-light response and a low recombination rate of photoinduced electron hole pairs.The photocatalytic property of the composite was evaluated by the removal efficiency of rhodamine B and ciprofloxacin under visible-light illumination.The composite’s reaction rate constant of removing rhodamine B(/ciprofloxacin)was approximately 8.14(/4.94),42.63(/11.91)and 64.66(/36.07)times that of Bi12O17Cl2,P25,and BiOCl,respectively.Furthermore,the composite showed a wide applicable pH range and excellent reusability.Mechanism analysis showed that photogenerated holes played a dominant role and·O2–also contributed to photocatalytic degradation.In summary,this study presents a high-efficiency photocatalyst for wastewater treatment. 展开更多

Runoff formation is a complex meteorological-hydrological process impacted by many factors,especially in the inland river basin.Based on the data of daily mean air temperature,precipitation and runoff during the period of 1958-2007 in the Kaidu River watershed,this paper analyzed the changes in air temperature,precipitation and runoff and revealed the direct and indirect impacts of daily air temperature and precipitation on daily runoff by path analysis.The results showed that mean temperature time series of the annual,summer and autumn had a significant fluctuant increase during the last 50 years(P 0.05).Only winter precipitation increased significantly(P 0.05) with a rate of 1.337 mm/10a.The annual and winter runoff depthes in the last 50 years significantly increased with the rates of 7.11 mm/10a and 1.85 mm/10a,respectively.The driving function of both daily temperature and precipitation on daily runoff in annual and seasonal levels is significant in the Kaidu River watershed by correlation analysis.The result of path analysis showed that the positive effect of daily air temperature on daily runoff depth is much higher than that of daily precipitation in annual,spring,autumn and winter,however,the trend is opposite in summer. 展开更多

Objective Injured tubular reabsorption is highlighted as one of the causes of increased albuminuria in the early stage of diabetic nephropathy;however,the underlying mechanism has not been fiilly elucidated.In this study,we aimed to explore whether reducing inflammation and remodeling the insulin signaling pathway could improve albumin uptake of renal tubules.Methods 8-week-old male db/db mice(n=8),a type 2 diabetic nephropathy model,administered with nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-kB)inhibitor parthenolide(PTN,1 mg/kg)intraperitoneally every other day for 8 weeks,were as the treatment group.Meanwhile,the age-matched male db/m mice(n=S)and db/db mice(n=8)were treated with saline as the control group and type 2 diabetic nephropathy group.When the mice were sacrificed,blood and urine were collected to examine homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)and urine albumin creatinine ratio,and kidney samples were used to analyze histopathologic changes with periodic acid-Schiff(PAS)staining,NF-kB p65,phosphorylation of AKT(p-AKT),amnionless and cubilin expressions with immunohistochemistry as well as western blot,and the albumin uptake of renal tubules by using immunofluorescence.In addition,HKC cells were divided into the insulin group treated with insulin alone,the TNF-a group treated with insulin and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-a),and the TNF-a+PTN group exposed to PTN,insulin and TNF-a.The levels of albumin uptake and expression levels of NF-kB p65,p-IRS-l/IRS-1,p-AKT/AKT,amnionless and cubilin in HKC cells were measured.Results Compared with the db/db group,the db/db+PTN group demonstrated decreased levels of HOMA-IR(36.83±14.09 vs.31.07+28.05)and urine albumin creatinine ratio(190.3±7.3 vs.143.0±97.6 mg/mmol);however,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Periodic acid-Schiff staining showed PTN could alleviate the glomerular hypertrophy and reduce the matrix in mesangial areas of db/db mice.The renal expression of NF-kB p65 was increased and p-AKT(s473)decreased in the db/db group compared with the db/m group(P<0.05).PTN significantly reduced the renal expression of NF-kB p65 and ameliorated the decline of p-AKT(s473)compared with the db/db group(P<0.05).Compared with the db/m group,the expression of amnionless and cubilin decreased and albumin uptake in tubules were reduced in the db/db group(P<0.05),and PTN could significantly increase the expression of cubilin(P<0.05),and improve albumin uptake in tubules.Insulin promoted albumin uptake and the expression of amnionless and cubilin in HKC cells(P<0.05).TNF-a stimulated the expression of NF-kB p65,increased p-IRS-1(s307)and reduced p-AKT(s473)in HKC cells(PV 0.05).In theTNF-a+PTN group,the expression of NF-kB p65 declined and p-IRS-1(s307)and p-AKT(s473)were restored,compared with theTNF-a group(P<0.05).The expression of amnionless and cubilin decreased in theTNF-a group(P<0.05),and PTN could significantly increase the expression of cubilin(P<0.05).Conclusions Inflammation caused damage to insulin signaling,which reduced amnionless-cubilin expression and albumin uptake.PTN could reduce inflammation and remodel the impaired insulin signaling pathway,which promoted the expression of cubilin and albumin uptake.Our study can shed light on the role of inflammation in the reduction of albumin uptake of renal tubules in type 2 diabetic nephropathy. 展开更多

Objective:To compare the effectiveness and safety of Banxia Xiexin Decoction (BXD) as alternative therapy versus standard triple therapy or quadruple therapy for patients with peptic ulcer or chronic gastritis infected with Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori).Methods:Databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chongqing VIP,Wanfang Database,PubMed,the Cochrane Library and clinicaltrials.gov were searched in December 2018 for relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs).Two authors independently screened and selected studies,extracted data and checked data extraction.Methodological quality was evaluated using the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool.Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3.5 software.Results:Fourteen RCTs were included in our analysis involving 1300 patients.Thirteen RCTs compared the effects of BXD alone versus standard therapy,11 involving triple therapy and 2 in quadruple therapy.The cure rate for both diseases were higher in the BXD alone group than in the standard therapy group (RR and 95% Cl:1.85 [1.07,3.17] and 1.48 [1.24,1.75],respectively).And also,the same result with effectiveness rate (RR and 95% CI:1.18 [1.08,1.29] and 1.14 [1.08,1.20],respectively).However,there was no significant difference in the clearance of H.pylori one month after treatment,neither compared with quadruple therapy nor triple therapy (RR and 95% CI:1.10 [1.00,1.22] and 1.04 [0.97,1.12],respectively).Adverse events appeared in 3 participants in the BXD group and 26 participants in the conventional therapy group.The quality of the trials included in this review was not very good.Conclusion:BXD has a superior effect to standard conventional therapy in improving clinical symptoms and repair of the mucosal lesion,and a similar effect to standard conventional therapy in clearing H.pylori.We still need good quality trials,especially placebo-controlled trials,in the future to confirm this result. 展开更多

There has been a continuous need for high active, excellently durable and low-cost electrocatalysts for rechargeable zinc-air batteries. Among many low-cost metal based candidates, transition metal oxides with the CNTs composite have gained increasing attention. In this paper, the 3-D hollow sphere MnO_2 nanotube-supported Co_3O_4 nanoparticles and its carbon nanotubes hybrid material(Co_3 O_4/MnO_2-CNTs) have been synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method combined with post-heat treatment. The morphology and composition of the catalysts are thoroughly analyzed through SEM, TEM, TEM-mapping, XRD, EDX and XPS. In comparison with the commercial 20% Pt/C, Co_3O_4/MnO_2,bare MnO_2 nanotubes and CNTs, the hybrid Co_3O_4/MnO_2-CNTs-350 exhibits perfect bi-functional catalytic activity toward oxygen reduction reaction and oxygen evolution reaction under alkaline condition(0.1 M KOH). Therefore, high cell performances are achieved which result in an appropriate open circuit voltage(~1.47 V),a high discharge peak power density(340 mW cm^(-2)) and a large specific capacity(775 mAh g^(-1) at 10 mA cm^(-2)) for the primary Zn-air battery, a small charge-discharge voltage gap and a high cycle-life(504 cycles at 10 mA cm^(-2) with 10 min per cycle) for the rechargeable Zn-air battery. In particular, the simple synthesis method is suitable for a large-scale production of this bifunctional material due to a green, cost effective and readily available process. 展开更多

Clinical Pathological Analysis in 104 Ductal Breast Cancer Cases

Ductal breast cancer is a clinically heterogeneous disease;we investigate the correlation between tumor size, comedo necrosis, number of cell mitoses and axillary lymph node metastasis in ductal breast cancer. In this study, 104 ductal breast cancer specimens were collected and divided into 3 groups: T1 group (tumor size ≤ 2 cm), T2 group (2 5.0 cm). Among those specimens, 95 cases were diagnosed with invasive ducted carcinoma, and 9 cases were ductal carcinoma in-situ (DCIS). Results show that T3 group has a higher rate of axillary lymph node metastasis than T2 group and T1 group;T2 group has a higher rate of lymph node metastasis than T1 group. The patients with the number of cell mitoses (≥10) were also has a higher rate of axillary lymph node metastasis (P = 0.0139) than the patients with the number of cell mitoses (<10). No significance was found between comedo necrosis lesions and axillary lymph node metastasis, though the frequency of comedo necrosis lesions in patients with axillary lymph node metastasis was higher than those in non-metastatic patients. It is concluded that the tumor size and the number of cell mitoses were risk factors for axillary lymph node involvement in ductal breast cancer. 展开更多

Comprehensive transportation evaluation objects using multi-objective decision method is a process of choosing the best one from a few objects through calculating, analyzing, and comparing the index system. The result may be different because of the difference of the index weight and index value. Therefore, sensitivity analysis should be one of the necessary parts of the decision-making. It is desired to give the index with higher sensitivity and its varying scope to control the index strictly during the execution process. This paper derives transfer index weight, which changes the rank evaluation order of the projects. Meanwhile, a simple, effective and practical method based on sensitivity district and sensitivity matrix is proposed for the sensitivity analysis of decision-making. As an example, the index sensitivity in decision-making of some provinces comprehensive transportation objects, and their influence on the final decision are discussed. 展开更多

[Objectives]The paper was to establish a rapid screening method of pesticide residues in strawberry based on HPLC-QTOF/MS SWATH acquisition mode.[Methods]The strawberry sample was extracted with acetonitrile,purified with anhydrous magnesium sulfate,sodium chloride and primary secondary amine(PSA)powder,and then loaded on the machine.The full information spectrum was collected by positive ion mode and screened by comparing with the spectrum library,and 20 kinds of pesticide residues were quantitatively analyzed.[Results]The detection limits of 20 pesticide residues were 0.0002-0.0100 mg/kg,and they showed good linearity in the range of 0.0005-0.1000μg/mL(R 2≥0.995).The recoveries ranged from 62.8%to 106.3%.[Conclusions]This method is rapid,simple,sensitive and non-targeted,and can be used for rapid screening of multiple pesticide residues in strawberry. 展开更多

Objective: To analyze the trends of incidence rate and age at diagnosis for cervical cancer incidence in China using population-based cancer registration data from 2000 to 2014. Methods: Data were from National Central Cancer Registry of China. Crude incidence rates (CIRs), age-specific incidence rate, age-standardized incidence rates (ASIRs), age percentage distribution, standardized age percentage distribution, mean age at diagnosis and standardized mean age at diagnosis for cervical cancer in all areas of China, urban China and rural China were calculated separately. The world Segi's population was applied to remove the age structure influence. Joinpoint regression was performed to obtain average annual percent change (AAPC) and age- period-cohort analysis was used to examine the incidence trends. Results: CIRs and ASIRs for cervical cancer increased in China from 2000 to 2014. The AAPC of ASIRs in China was at 9.2% [95% confidence interval (95% CI): 7.0%-I 1.5%, P〈0.05], and the AAPC in rural areas was relatively high. The age-specific incidence rate in groups aged 0-69 years have significantly increased over time. Groups aged 40-69 years showed the highest incidence risk, and the annual percent changes (APCs) of incidence rate in groups aged 40-59 years in urban China and groups aged 0-49 years in rural China were more than 10%. For each age group, the urban-to-rural incidence rate ratios (IRRs) got close to 1 over time. There were clear birth cohort effects in successive generations born from 1940 to 1970 in China. In rural China, the standardized mean age at diagnosis had significantly declined by 5.18 years. In China, the main peak and secondary peak of standardized age percentages appeared in the groups aged 45-49 and 40-44 years, respectively. In rural China, the main peak of standardized age percentage moved from the group aged 55-59 years to the group aged 45-49 years, and the standardized age percentages of groups aged 25-34 years also increased. In China, the standardized age percentages has significantly increased in groups aged 35-64 and 30-64 years over time, and accounted for about 80% and 85% in 2014, respectively. Conclusions: The cervical cancer incidence increased in China and the gap of incidence between urban and rural China was narrowed. The trends of increasing cervical cancer incidence among younger women existed in China, especially in rural China. A more appropriate screening, vaccination and health education strategies should be established. 展开更多

Methods:RDT using a mixture of recombinant 56-kDa proteins of O.tsutsugamushi and mIFA assay were performed on 20 patients from Fujian and 13 patients from Yunnan Province,and 82 sera samples from healthy farmers in Anhui Province and Beijing City in 2009.Comparison of the RDT and mIFA assay was performed by using X test and the P level of 【0.05 was considered to be significance.Results:Among these 82 normal sera samples,the specificity of RDT was 100%for both IgM and IgG tests.In 33 samples from patients with scrub typhus,5 cases were positively detected earlier by RDT than by mIFA in IgM test,and 2 cases were positive in IgG test.Sensitivities of RDT were 93.9%and 90.9%for IgM and IgG,respectively.The sensitivity of combination lest of IgM and IgG was 100%.Geometric mean titer diluted sera from confirmed cases by IFA and RDT assay were 1:37 vs.1:113(P【0.001) in IgM test and 1:99 vs.1:279 (P【0.05) in IgG test.Conclusions:RDT is more sensitivite than mIFA in the early diagnosis of scrub typhus and it is particularly applicable in rural areas. 展开更多

A highly efficient and green process was developed for the synthesis of useful 5-amino-1-pentanol(5-AP)from biomass-derived dihydropyran by coupling the in situ generation of 5-hydroxypentanal(5-HP,via the ring-opening tautomerization of 2-hydroxytetrahydropyran(2-HTHP))and its reductive amination over supported Ni catalysts.The catalytic performances of the supported Ni catalysts on different oxides including SiO2,TiO2,ZrO2,γ-Al2 O3,and MgO as well as several commercial hydrogenation catalysts were investigated.The Ni/ZrO2 catalyst presented the highest 5-AP yield.The characterization results of the oxide-supported Ni catalysts showed that the Ni/ZrO2 catalyst possessed high reducibility and a high surface acid density,which lead to the enhanced activity and selectivity of the catalyst.The effect of reaction parameters on the catalytic performance of the Ni/ZrO2 catalyst was studied,and a high 5-AP yield of 90.8%was achieved in the reductive amination of 2-HTHP aqueous solution under mild conditions of 80℃and 2 MPa H2.The stability of the Ni/ZrO2 catalyst was studied using a continuous flow reactor,and only a slight decrease in the 5-AP yield was observed after a 90-h time-on-stream.Additionally,the reaction pathways for the reductive amination of 2-HTHP to synthesize 5-AP were proposed. 展开更多
