The results showed that astragalus polysaccharide (APS), epimedium polysaccharide (EPS), Chinese angelica polysaccharide (CAPS), propolis flavone (PF), and astrogalosides (AS) promoted IL-2 mRNA levels in T lymphocytes in vitro and in vivo to differing degrees, and the level of IL-2 mRNA induced by propolis polysaccharide (PPS) in vitro was higher than that induced by the control, which differed from that of PPS in vivo.展开更多

Comparison of Hinf I restriction enzyme sites of p32 genes showed that there were two sites located at 391 and 691 bp, respectively, among all the SPV strains, and one site at 688 bp among GPV strains. Cladogram generated by sequence alignment of GpCR genes showed that the SPV and GPV belonged to two different branches. These results indicate that p32. and GpCR genes can be candidates used for discrimination of GPV and SPV.展开更多

In recent years, mutations as an essential element in the HBV evolution have been extensively studied. However, the study of the conserved sequence for the evolution of HBV is still in its infancy. In this paper, we applied MEME(multiple EM for motif elicitation) algorithm for motif discovery and proposed a new metric CI(conserved index) to make phylogenetic analysis of HBV sequences. Our results indicate that MEME can efficiently discover multiple motifs from HBV sequences and the new measurement CI for the conservative of sequences can effectively help us to build the phylogenetic tree.Thus, we can get evolutionary relationship of HBV sequence through the phylogenetic tree.展开更多
