Oral immunosuppression caused by smoking creates a microenvironment to promote the occurrence and development of oral mucosa precancerous lesions.This study aimed to investigate the role of metabolism and macrophage p...Oral immunosuppression caused by smoking creates a microenvironment to promote the occurrence and development of oral mucosa precancerous lesions.This study aimed to investigate the role of metabolism and macrophage polarization in cigarette-promoting oral leukoplakia.The effects of cigarette smoke extract(CSE)on macrophage polarization and metabolism were studied in vivo and in vitro.The polarity of macrophages was detected by flow cytometric analysis and q PCR.Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)was used to perform a metabolomic analysis of Raw cells stimulated with CSE.Immunofluorescence and flow cytometry were used to detect the polarity of macrophages in the condition of glutamine abundance and deficiency.Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8),wound-healing assay,and Annexin V-FITC(fluorescein isothiocyanate)/PI(propidium iodide)double-staining flow cytometry were applied to detect the growth and transferability and apoptosis of Leuk-1 cells in the supernatant of Raw cells which were stimulated with CSE,glutamine abundance and deficiency.Hyperkeratosis and dysplasia of the epithelium were evident in smoking mice.M2 macrophages increased under CSE stimulation in vivo and in vitro.In total,162 types of metabolites were detected in the CSE group.The metabolites of nicotine,glutamate,arachidic acid,and arginine changed significantly.The significant enrichment pathways were also selected,including nicotine addiction,glutamine and glutamate metabolism,and arginine biosynthesis.The results also showed that the supernatant of Raw cells stimulated by CSE could induce excessive proliferation of Leuk-1 and inhibit apoptosis.Glutamine abundance can facilitate this process.Cigarette smoke promotes oral leukoplakia via regulating glutamine metabolism and macrophage M2 polarization.展开更多
A drought event can cause yield loss or entire crops to fail.In order to study the effects of continuous drought on physiological characteristics,yield,and water use efficiency(WUE)of winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L....A drought event can cause yield loss or entire crops to fail.In order to study the effects of continuous drought on physiological characteristics,yield,and water use efficiency(WUE)of winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.),the variety“Zhoumai 22”was grown in controlled water conditions of the pot-planted winter wheat under a mobile rainout shelter.Foot planting and safe wintering were used to evaluate,winter wheat under different drought conditions,including light,moderate and severe drought at the jointing,heading,and filling stages.The soil water content was controlled at 60–70%,50–60%,or 40–50%of field capacity.Experimental trials included 3 pre-anthesis drought hardening,3 three-stage continuous drought,and 1 test control conditions.Under drought stress conditions,winter wheat leaf water potential,soil plant analysis development(SPAD),photosynthesis parameters,and yield declined due to pre-anthesis drought hardening.And the degree of decline:continuous drought>pre-anthesis drought hardening.Changes in the post-anthesis photosynthetic capacity of winter wheat were mainly related to the pre-anthesis drought level,rather than post-anthesis rehydration.The threshold of non-stomata limiting factors caused by photosynthesis at the filling stage is 40–50%FC,while comprehensive yield and WUE affected,the yield in severe drought treatments was the most significant,B3C3 and B3C3G3 decreased by 55.68%and 55.88%,respectively.Pre-anthesis drought was the main reason for the decreased crop yield.Thus,severe drought should be avoided during planting,while pre-anthesis light drought is a suitable choice for watersaving and crop production,as proper pre-anthesis drought hardening(60–70%FC)is feasible and effective.展开更多

In this paper, we concentrate on the influence of noises on gene network regulated by small RNA using chemical Langevin equation. It shows that the noise can cause oscillation when the oscillate does not occur in the corresponding deterministic system. The coherence of the noise induced oscillation reaches a maximum for an optimal intensity of noise, and the coherence resonance appears accordingly. In order to improve the red luminescent properties,Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)was selected as a blue persistent luminescent donor phosphor,while light conversion agent was utilized to tune the persistent lumin...In order to improve the red luminescent properties,Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)was selected as a blue persistent luminescent donor phosphor,while light conversion agent was utilized to tune the persistent luminescent spectra from blue to red.Composite red luminescent material Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)/light conversion agent(SMED/LCA)was fabricated with light conversion agent and Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)at a certain mass ratio.SiO_(2)(Al2 O_(3) or MgF2)were coated on the surface of SMED/LCA through heterogeneous deposition method.The structural and optical characteristics of the resulting samples were launched in terms of X-ray diffraction and emission spectrum as well as afterglow brightness.The results demonstrate that the emission spectrum exhibits two emission bands,and the peaks are located at around 470 and 615 nm.SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3) and MgF_(2) are coated on the surface of SMED/LCA like a protective shell to maintain its stability and luminescent properties,the afterglow initial brightness is still up to 0.37 cd/m^(2) and the afterglow color purity calculated from CIE color coordinates is basically unchanged.展开更多
The late Mesozoic antimony(Sb)mineralization belt in South China hosts a large portion of the world’s Sb reserves.However,the source and mineralization processes of these Sb deposits remain controversial.Here,we meas...The late Mesozoic antimony(Sb)mineralization belt in South China hosts a large portion of the world’s Sb reserves.However,the source and mineralization processes of these Sb deposits remain controversial.Here,we measured mercury(Hg)concentrations and isotopic compositions of stibnite in the Banpo Sb-only and Woxi Sbpolymetallic ore deposits,as well as associated rocks in the Yangtze Block in order to constrain the metal sources and ore formation processes in the South China Sb mineralization belt.Stibnite samples from both deposits exhibit significant enrichment in Hg(4.23–50.6 ppm)and have higher δ^(202)Hg values(−0.47‰to 2.03‰)than the studied Precambrian basement rocks(−1.42‰to 0.59‰),Paleozoic sedimentary rocks(−2.40‰to−0.32‰),and other natural Hg reserves(e.g.,marine and continental systems).This indicates that significant mass-dependent fractionation of Hg isotopes occurred during hydrothermal processes.Negative to slightly positive Δ^(199)Hg values of−0.17‰to 0.02‰were obtained for stibnite from the studied deposits,similar to values for the Precambrian basement rocks,but different from those of the Paleozoic sedimentary rocks and data previously reported for mantle materials.This suggests that Precambrian basement rocks were the source of Hg and associated metals.Our data and the tectonic evolution of South China indicate that late Mesozoic asthenospheric upwelling,in response to the Paleo-Pacific oceanic slab foundering,generated heat that drove the circulation of fluids in the basement and crustal basinal rocks.These fluids leached Sb,Hg,and other metals from the Precambrian basement rocks and formed the world-class Sb mineralization belt in South China.展开更多

These SrMoO4 samples were...To probe the potential utilities in the photocatalyst and luminescent materials, a series of SrMoO4 samples have been prepared via the hydrothermal preparation with different stirring speeds. These SrMoO4 samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, UV-diffuse reflection spectroscopy (UV-vis). It has been found that the lattice parameters and [MOO4] tetrahedmn distortion of SrMoO4 samples are increased with the increased stirring speed in the process of bydrothermal preparation. By changing the stirring speeds, spindle and succulent-like morphologies have been obtained. UV-vis results show that the band gaps of SrMoO4 samples are sensitive to the stirring speed. As for the luminescent and photocatalytic properties, our experimental results clearly suggest that, compared with those samples without stirring, the luminescent and photocatalytic activities are enhanced with stirring in the hydrothermal preparation. The photodegradation of methyl blue (MB) over SrMoO4 system increases from 30% to 50%; with stirring, which may be related to small band gaps and porous surfaces. Our results indicate that stirring may he one important technique to improve the photocatalytic properties, especially in the process of hydrothermal method.展开更多
Background:Presbyopia has become a global disease affecting the world's aging population.Among various treatments,cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL)implantation have become the most popular and common m...Background:Presbyopia has become a global disease affecting the world's aging population.Among various treatments,cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL)implantation have become the most popular and common methods of presbyopia correction.During the twentieth century,IOLs have underwent significant innovation and advancements to meet the patients'high demands for functional vision at all distances.Main Text:To meet the increasing needs for excellent near and intermediate vision for daily activities,some premium IOLs with more than one focus have been developed,for example,the refractive MfIOLs,diffractive MfIOLs,extended depth of field(EDOF)IOLs,and accommodating IOLs(AIOLs)were introduced to meet this need.In addition,the add-on MfIOLs have been explored as promising supplementary IOLs for pseudophakic presbyopia.When selecting the MfIOLs,the IOLs'features,patients’characteristics,preoperative eye conditions,and treatment expectations should be considered.Conclusions:In this review,we focus on the multifocal IOLs(MfIOLs)commonly used for presbyopia correction and systematically summarized their optical designs and clinical outcomes.More evidence-based studies are required to provide guidelines for MfIOL selection,provide maximum visual benefits,and develop personalized visual solutions in the future.展开更多
SrMoO4:Eu^3+(10%) phosphors were produced via hydrothermal synthesis and co-precipitation.We systematically analyzed how the morphology and luminescence properties of the phosphors were affected by the synthesis c...SrMoO4:Eu^3+(10%) phosphors were produced via hydrothermal synthesis and co-precipitation.We systematically analyzed how the morphology and luminescence properties of the phosphors were affected by the synthesis conditions,including the p H of the precursor solution,stirring speed,and postsintering temperature.The samples synthesized at p H = 8 and 9 were spindle-like rods with a core-shell structure.When the stirring speed increased to Vs = 150 r/min,the core-shell structure disappeared.Photoluminescence measurements indicated that the Sr Mo O4:Eu^3+samples under ultraviolet radiation produced strong red emission centered at 616 nm.The luminescence properties were greatly affected by the p H,stirring during hydrothermal reaction,and use of post-annealing.The related mechansim is discussed.展开更多
Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)monomers end-capped with 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)moieties are electropolymerized to formπ-conjugated polymers with distinct electrochromic(EC)properties.Steric and electronic factors...Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)monomers end-capped with 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)moieties are electropolymerized to formπ-conjugated polymers with distinct electrochromic(EC)properties.Steric and electronic factors(electron donor and acceptor substituents)in the side groups of the TT core,as well as the structure of the polymer backbone strongly affect the electrochemical and optical properties of the polymers and their electrochromic characteristics.The studied polymers show low oxidation potentials,tunable from-0.78 to+0.30 V(vs.Fc/Fc^+)and the band gaps from 1.46 to 1.92 eV and demonstrate wide variety of color palettes in polymer films in different states,finely tunable by structural variations in the polymer backbone and the side chains.EC materials of different colors in their doped/dedoped states have been developed(violet,deep blue,light blue,green,brown,purple-red,pinkish-red,orange-red,light gray,cyan and colorless transparent).High optical contrast(up to 79%),short response time(0.57-0.80 s),good cycling stability(up to 91%at 2000 cycles)and high coloration efficiency(up to 234.6 cm2C^(-1))have been demonstrated and the influence of different factors on the above parameters of EC polymers have been discussed.展开更多

Recently, it is found collective charge density oscillations with strong i...Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs), are regarded as molecular fragments of graphene and are facilely available through chemical synthesis. Recently, it is found collective charge density oscillations with strong induced electromagnetic field display in PAH derivatives. This phenomenon, analogue to plasmonic excitation in metal, called molecular plasmonics, arise the significant interest of physicists. Instead of discussing its rich physics, this work aims at the application of molecular plasmon-like excitations in electrochromics and optoelectronics. We found that the energy and the intensity of plasmonic-like oscillation could be largely tuned by increasing the conjugation size along both the longitude/transverse axis in PAHs. Besides, the dimeric PAH demonstrates the possibility that molecular plasmonics could be designed using PAHs as building blocks for integration into larger molecular systems. Moreover, this work straightforwardly extends the molecular plasmonic-like property from C–H composed PAHs to much more versatile planar conjugation systems with heteroatoms, achieving transferring between p-type and n-type organic semiconductors. Therefore, with the natural abundance, low cost, easily chemical synthesis of PAH derivatives, we believe this work paves the way for the application of molecular plasmonic-like properties in optoelectronics.展开更多
Herein,we propose a new strategy to develop air-stable n-type organic semiconductors with non-classical thiophene aromatic diimide derivatives by replacing aromatic naphthalene with a heteroaromatic isothianaphthene c...Herein,we propose a new strategy to develop air-stable n-type organic semiconductors with non-classical thiophene aromatic diimide derivatives by replacing aromatic naphthalene with a heteroaromatic isothianaphthene core.We designed and successfully synthesized the isothianaphthene core based diimide material,N,N′-bis(n-hexyl)isothianaphthene-2,3,6,7-tetracarboxylic acid diimide(BTDI-C6)as an n-type semiconductor.Compared to N,N′-bis(n-hexyl)naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic acid diimide(NDI-C6),BTDI-C6 possesses a deeper LUMO energy level of-4.21 eV,which is 0.32 eV lower than that of NDI-C6.Both molecular modelling and experimental results elucidated that organic thin film transistors(OTFTs)based on both of these materials exhibit comparable mobilities;however,the threshold voltage of BTDI-C6 based device(+7.5 V)is significantly lower than that of NDI-C6 based counterpart(+34V).Moreover,the low-lying LUMO energy level of BTDI-C6 ensures excellent air-stability which is further validated by the device performance.In addition,BTDI-C6 shows high luminescence while NDI-C6 is not luminescent at all in solution,which reveals the potential application of our newly synthesized material in n-type light-emitting transistors.展开更多

文摘The late Mesozoic antimony(Sb)mineralization belt in South China hosts a large portion of the world’s Sb reserves.However,the source and mineralization processes of these Sb deposits remain controversial.Here,we measured mercury(Hg)concentrations and isotopic compositions of stibnite in the Banpo Sb-only and Woxi Sbpolymetallic ore deposits,as well as associated rocks in the Yangtze Block in order to constrain the metal sources and ore formation processes in the South China Sb mineralization belt.Stibnite samples from both deposits exhibit significant enrichment in Hg(4.23–50.6 ppm)and have higher δ^(202)Hg values(−0.47‰to 2.03‰)than the studied Precambrian basement rocks(−1.42‰to 0.59‰),Paleozoic sedimentary rocks(−2.40‰to−0.32‰),and other natural Hg reserves(e.g.,marine and continental systems).This indicates that significant mass-dependent fractionation of Hg isotopes occurred during hydrothermal processes.Negative to slightly positive Δ^(199)Hg values of−0.17‰to 0.02‰were obtained for stibnite from the studied deposits,similar to values for the Precambrian basement rocks,but different from those of the Paleozoic sedimentary rocks and data previously reported for mantle materials.This suggests that Precambrian basement rocks were the source of Hg and associated metals.Our data and the tectonic evolution of South China indicate that late Mesozoic asthenospheric upwelling,in response to the Paleo-Pacific oceanic slab foundering,generated heat that drove the circulation of fluids in the basement and crustal basinal rocks.These fluids leached Sb,Hg,and other metals from the Precambrian basement rocks and formed the world-class Sb mineralization belt in South China.

文摘To probe the potential utilities in the photocatalyst and luminescent materials, a series of SrMoO4 samples have been prepared via the hydrothermal preparation with different stirring speeds. These SrMoO4 samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy, UV-diffuse reflection spectroscopy (UV-vis). It has been found that the lattice parameters and [MOO4] tetrahedmn distortion of SrMoO4 samples are increased with the increased stirring speed in the process of bydrothermal preparation. By changing the stirring speeds, spindle and succulent-like morphologies have been obtained. UV-vis results show that the band gaps of SrMoO4 samples are sensitive to the stirring speed. As for the luminescent and photocatalytic properties, our experimental results clearly suggest that, compared with those samples without stirring, the luminescent and photocatalytic activities are enhanced with stirring in the hydrothermal preparation. The photodegradation of methyl blue (MB) over SrMoO4 system increases from 30% to 50%; with stirring, which may be related to small band gaps and porous surfaces. Our results indicate that stirring may he one important technique to improve the photocatalytic properties, especially in the process of hydrothermal method.

文摘Background:Presbyopia has become a global disease affecting the world's aging population.Among various treatments,cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL)implantation have become the most popular and common methods of presbyopia correction.During the twentieth century,IOLs have underwent significant innovation and advancements to meet the patients'high demands for functional vision at all distances.Main Text:To meet the increasing needs for excellent near and intermediate vision for daily activities,some premium IOLs with more than one focus have been developed,for example,the refractive MfIOLs,diffractive MfIOLs,extended depth of field(EDOF)IOLs,and accommodating IOLs(AIOLs)were introduced to meet this need.In addition,the add-on MfIOLs have been explored as promising supplementary IOLs for pseudophakic presbyopia.When selecting the MfIOLs,the IOLs'features,patients’characteristics,preoperative eye conditions,and treatment expectations should be considered.Conclusions:In this review,we focus on the multifocal IOLs(MfIOLs)commonly used for presbyopia correction and systematically summarized their optical designs and clinical outcomes.More evidence-based studies are required to provide guidelines for MfIOL selection,provide maximum visual benefits,and develop personalized visual solutions in the future.

文摘SrMoO4:Eu^3+(10%) phosphors were produced via hydrothermal synthesis and co-precipitation.We systematically analyzed how the morphology and luminescence properties of the phosphors were affected by the synthesis conditions,including the p H of the precursor solution,stirring speed,and postsintering temperature.The samples synthesized at p H = 8 and 9 were spindle-like rods with a core-shell structure.When the stirring speed increased to Vs = 150 r/min,the core-shell structure disappeared.Photoluminescence measurements indicated that the Sr Mo O4:Eu^3+samples under ultraviolet radiation produced strong red emission centered at 616 nm.The luminescence properties were greatly affected by the p H,stirring during hydrothermal reaction,and use of post-annealing.The related mechansim is discussed.

文摘Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)monomers end-capped with 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)moieties are electropolymerized to formπ-conjugated polymers with distinct electrochromic(EC)properties.Steric and electronic factors(electron donor and acceptor substituents)in the side groups of the TT core,as well as the structure of the polymer backbone strongly affect the electrochemical and optical properties of the polymers and their electrochromic characteristics.The studied polymers show low oxidation potentials,tunable from-0.78 to+0.30 V(vs.Fc/Fc^+)and the band gaps from 1.46 to 1.92 eV and demonstrate wide variety of color palettes in polymer films in different states,finely tunable by structural variations in the polymer backbone and the side chains.EC materials of different colors in their doped/dedoped states have been developed(violet,deep blue,light blue,green,brown,purple-red,pinkish-red,orange-red,light gray,cyan and colorless transparent).High optical contrast(up to 79%),short response time(0.57-0.80 s),good cycling stability(up to 91%at 2000 cycles)and high coloration efficiency(up to 234.6 cm2C^(-1))have been demonstrated and the influence of different factors on the above parameters of EC polymers have been discussed.

文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs), are regarded as molecular fragments of graphene and are facilely available through chemical synthesis. Recently, it is found collective charge density oscillations with strong induced electromagnetic field display in PAH derivatives. This phenomenon, analogue to plasmonic excitation in metal, called molecular plasmonics, arise the significant interest of physicists. Instead of discussing its rich physics, this work aims at the application of molecular plasmon-like excitations in electrochromics and optoelectronics. We found that the energy and the intensity of plasmonic-like oscillation could be largely tuned by increasing the conjugation size along both the longitude/transverse axis in PAHs. Besides, the dimeric PAH demonstrates the possibility that molecular plasmonics could be designed using PAHs as building blocks for integration into larger molecular systems. Moreover, this work straightforwardly extends the molecular plasmonic-like property from C–H composed PAHs to much more versatile planar conjugation systems with heteroatoms, achieving transferring between p-type and n-type organic semiconductors. Therefore, with the natural abundance, low cost, easily chemical synthesis of PAH derivatives, we believe this work paves the way for the application of molecular plasmonic-like properties in optoelectronics.

文摘Herein,we propose a new strategy to develop air-stable n-type organic semiconductors with non-classical thiophene aromatic diimide derivatives by replacing aromatic naphthalene with a heteroaromatic isothianaphthene core.We designed and successfully synthesized the isothianaphthene core based diimide material,N,N′-bis(n-hexyl)isothianaphthene-2,3,6,7-tetracarboxylic acid diimide(BTDI-C6)as an n-type semiconductor.Compared to N,N′-bis(n-hexyl)naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic acid diimide(NDI-C6),BTDI-C6 possesses a deeper LUMO energy level of-4.21 eV,which is 0.32 eV lower than that of NDI-C6.Both molecular modelling and experimental results elucidated that organic thin film transistors(OTFTs)based on both of these materials exhibit comparable mobilities;however,the threshold voltage of BTDI-C6 based device(+7.5 V)is significantly lower than that of NDI-C6 based counterpart(+34V).Moreover,the low-lying LUMO energy level of BTDI-C6 ensures excellent air-stability which is further validated by the device performance.In addition,BTDI-C6 shows high luminescence while NDI-C6 is not luminescent at all in solution,which reveals the potential application of our newly synthesized material in n-type light-emitting transistors.
