Objective: To explore the antibacterial activity of combined use of Shuanghuanglian and cefoperazone sulbactam sodium on resistant strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Methods: The Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains which were sensitive and resistant to cefoperazone sulbactam sodium were selected to prepare different test bacterial solutions respectively; The experimental liquid of Shuanghuanglian and Cefoperazone Sulbactam Sodium were prepared separately and set as different test groups and control groups; The Drug Sensitivity Tests of Shuanghuanglian and cefoperazone sulbactam sodium at different concentration gradients which were used alone or used in combination were carried out for different strains with sensitivity and resistance, And use standard entry as a reference control. Result: The results of drug sensitivity test of Shuanghuanglian combined with Cefoperazone-Sulbactam sodium against the resistant strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were compared with the results of drug sensitivity test of the two separately used, and the difference was statistically significant (P 〈 0.05) [The drug sensitivity test results of Shuanghuanglian and cefoperazone sulbactam sodium to Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant strains were statistically significant compared with the drug sensitivity test results of Shuanghuanglian and Cefoperazone Sulbactam Sodium used separately (P 〈 0.05)];There was a dependence between strains and concentration in the effect of the combination of the two drugs. Conclusion: The combination of Shuanghuanglian and cefoperazone sulbactam sodium has synergistic antibacterial or bactericidal effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant strains. . 展开更多

To increase the spectral efficiency of the underwater acoustic(UWA)communication system, the high order quadrature amplitude modulations(QAM)are deployed.Recently, the prob-abilistic constellation shaping(PCS)has been a novel technology to improve the spectral efficiency. The PCS with high-order QAM is introduced into the UWA communication system.A turbo equal-ization scheme with PCS was proposed to cancel the severe inter-symbol interference(ISI).The non-zero a priori information is available for the equalizer and decoder before turbo iteration.A pri-ori hard decision approach is proposed to improve the detection performance and the equalizer con-vergence speed. At the initial turbo iteration, the relation between the a priori information and the probability of the amplitude of 16QAM symbols in one dimension is given. The simulation results verified the efficiency of the proposed method, and compared to the uniform distribution(UD),the PCS-16QAM had a significant improvement of the bit error rate(BER)performance with PCS-ad-aptive turbo equalization(PCS-ATEQ).The UWA communication experiments further verified the performance superiority of the proposed method. 展开更多

Enterotypes, which are defined as bacterial clusters in the gut microbiome, have been found to have a close relationship to host metabolism and health. However, this concept has never been used in the rumen, and little is known about the complex biological relationships between ruminants and their rumen bacterial clusters. In this study,we used young goats(n=99)as a model, fed them the same diet, and analyzed their rumen microbiome and corresponding bacterial clusters. The relationships between the bacterial clusters and rumen fermentation and growth performance in the goats were further investigated. Two bacterial clusters were identified in all goats:the P-cluster(dominated by genus Prevotella,n=38)and R-cluster(dominated by Ruminococcus,n=61).Compared with P-cluster goats,Rcluster goats had greater growth rates, concentrations of propionate, butyrate, and 18 free amino acids)and proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, but lower acetate molar percentage, acetate to propionate ratio, and several odd and branched chain and saturated fatty acids in rumen fluid(P<0.05).Several members of Firmicutes, including Ruminococcus,Oscillospiraceae NK4A214 group, and Christensenellaceae R-7 group were significantly higher in the R-cluster,whereas Prevotellaceae members, such as Prevotella and Prevotellaceae UCG-003,were significantly higher in P-cluster(P<0.01).Co-occurrence networks showed that R-cluster enriched bacteria had significant negative correlations with P-cluster enriched bacteria(P<0.05).Moreover,we found the concentrations of propionate, butyrate and free amino acids, and the proportions of unsaturated fatty acids were positively correlated with R-cluster enriched bacteria(P<0.05).The concentrations of acetate, acetate to propionate ratio, and the proportion of odd and branched chain and saturated fatty acids were positively correlated with P-cluster enriched bacteria(P<0.05).Overall,our results indicated that rumen bacterial clusters can influence rumen fermentation and growth performance of young goats, which may shed light on modulating the rumen microbiome in early life to improve the growth performance of ruminant animals. 展开更多
