Analysis of the Application Effect of Family Collaborative Care Model on Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and the Situation of Self-Care Ability

Objective: To study the application effect of the family collaborative care model on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and its influence on self-care ability. Methods: The elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus patients (400 cases) treated in our hospital between March 2020 and July 2023 were divided into two groups by randomized grouping method;the control group received the conventional nursing program, while the observation group received the family collaborative nursing model. Blood glucose level, self-care ability, and quality of life were compared between the groups. Results: The blood glucose level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The self- care ability and quality of life scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The family collaborative care model for elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can promote their self- care ability, improve the effect of glycemic control, and improve their quality of life, and is suitable for further promotion and application. 展开更多

It is essential to ac quire sound speed profiles(SSPs)in high-precision spatiotemporal resolution for undersea acoustic activities.However,conventional observation methods cannot obtain high-resolution SSPs.Besides,S SPs are complex and changeable in time and space,especially in coastal areas.We proposed a new space-time multigrid three-dimensional variational method with weak constraint term(referred to as STC-MG3DVar)to construct high-precision spatiotemporal resolution SSPs in coastal areas,in which sound velocity is defined as the analytical variable,and the Chen-Millero sound velocity empirical formula is introduced as a weak constraint term into the cost function of the STC-MG3DVar.The spatiotemporal correlation of sound velocity observations is taken into account in the STC-MG3DVar method,and the multi-scale information of sound velocity observations from long waves to short waves can be successively extracted.The weak constraint term can optimize sound velocity by the physical relationship between sound velocity and temperature-salinity to obtain more reasonable and accurate SSPs.To verify the accuracy of the STC-MG3DVar,SSPs observations and CTD observations(temperature observations,salinity observations)are obtained from field experiments in the northern coastal area of the Shandong Peninsula.The average root mean square error(RMSE)of the STC-MG3DVar-constructed SSPs is 0.132 m/s,and the STC-MG3DVar method can improve the SSPs construction accuracy over the space-time multigrid 3DVar without weak constraint term(ST-MG3DVar)by 10.14%and over the spatial multigrid 3DVar with weak constraint term(SC-MG3DVar)by 44.19%.With the advantage of the constraint term and the spatiotemporal correlation information,the proposed STC-MG3DVar method works better than the ST-MG3DVar and the SCMG3DVar in constructing high-precision spatiotemporal re solution SSPs. 展开更多

With the emergence and development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), different sensors have become more miniaturized and intelligent. UAVs equipped with various sensors are now an important approach for acquiring spatial data. Many advantages, such as low cost, short revisiting cycle, flexibility and high precision, have made UAVs powerful tools in geological, agricultural, ecological and forestry growth monitoring, as well as evaluation. Now, UAVs are a hotspot in scientific research. Their application in mining areas (MA), although still in its infancy, is developing rapidly in terms of speed, scale and service scope. This research examines aspects such as UAV platforms, different sensors and their application fields, as well as reviewing the advances of scientific research in MA at the present time. By combining current research and the functions of multiple sensors, an application framework for UAV monitoring in MA is constructed. Finally, the challenge and prospects for the development of UAVs and sensors are also considered. This research hopes to provide a technical reference, expanding the knowledge and recognition of UAV monitoring in MA, as well as an assessment of applications in mining, reclamation and environment. 展开更多

Empirical orthogonal function(EOF)analysis was applied to a 50-year long time series of monthly mean positions of the Kuroshio path south of Japan from a regional reanalysis.Three leading EOF modes characterize the contributions from three typical paths of the Kuroshio meander:the typical large meander path,the offshore nonlarge meander path,and the nearshore non-large meander path,respectively.Accordingly,the spatial variation characteristics of oceanic anomaly fields can be depicted by their regression fields upon the associated three leading principal components(PCs),which are well-matched with the results of composite analysis corresponding to each period of the three typical Kuroshio paths.A new index for the typical large meander is defined by using the second leading PC,which is highly correlated with the Kushimoto-Uragami index.Spectral analysis of this new index series shows variability of the Kuroshio path south of Japan at time scales of about 7–8 years and 20 years. 展开更多

Opencast coal mining has a large impact on the land surface,both at the mining pits themselves and at waste sites.After artifcial management is stopped,a reclaimed opencast coal mine dump is afected by wind and water erosion from natural processes,resulting in land degradation and even safety incidents.In this paper,the soil erosion and land degradation after 5 years of such natural processes,at the Xilinhot opencast coal mine dump in Inner Mongolia,were investigated.A multisource data acquisition method was applied:the vegetation fraction coverage(VFC)was extracted from GF-1 satellite imagery,high-precision terrain characteristics and the location and degree of soil erosion were obtained using a drone,and the physical properties of the topsoil were obtained by feld sampling.On this basis,the degree and spatial distribution of erosion cracks were identifed,and the causes of soil erosion and land degradation were analyzed using the geographical detector.The results show that(1)multi-source data acquisition method can provide efective basic data for the quantitative evaluation of the ecological environment at dumps,and(2)slope aspect and VFC are the main factors afecting the degree of degradation and soil erosion.Based on above analysis,several countermeasures are proposed to mitigate land degradation:(1)The windward slope be designed to imitate the natural landform.(2)Reasonable engineering measures should be applied at the slope to restrain soil erosion.(3)The Pioneer plants should be widely planted on the platform at the early stage of reclamation. 展开更多

The full fluxes and associated air-sea variables based on three months of operational buoy observations in the East China Sea(ECS)in summer 2020 were analyzed for the first time.The surface net heat flux(Q_(net))was positive(139.7±77.7 W/m^(2))and was dominated by the combined eff ects of solar shortwave radiation(SW)and latent heat fluxes(LH).The mean heat flux components of 4 reanalysis datasets(NCEP2,MERRA-2,CFSR,and ERA5)and buoy data were compared to assess the mean ability of the modeling/reanalysis simulation.Among the four components of air-sea flux,SW was the best simulated,while LH was the worst simulated.The longwave radiation(LW)and LH values from reanalysis were higher than those from buoy data,especially LH.The high LH resulted in low Q_(net).Furthermore,the 4 reanalysis datasets were compared with the buoy dataset.Among all flux products,the difference in radiation flux was the smallest,while that in the turbulent flux was the greatest.The observed variables related to turbulent flux were analyzed to help determine the cause of the flux discrepancies.High wind speeds were the main cause of this difference.Using the variables provided by the reanalysis data and the same bulk formulas of the Coupled Ocean-Atmospheric Response Experiment(COARE 3.0),we found that the recalculated sensible heat flux(SH)and LH were closer to the observed heat fluxes than the direct model outputs.The signifi cant diff erences between these methods could account for the discrepancies among diff erent data.Among all air-sea flux products,the air-sea flux in ERA5 was closer to the in-situ observations than the other products.The comparison results of reanalysis data provide an important reference for more accurate studies of the summer heat flux in the ECS at the synoptic and climatic scales. 展开更多

Static shortest path has been studied widely and many efficient searching methods have been developed, for example Dijkstra’s algorithm, Floyd-Warshall, Bellman-Ford, A* et al. However, practical travel time is not a constant value but a stochastic value. How to take full use of the stochastic character to find the shortest path is a significant problem. In this paper, GPS floating car is used to detect road section’s travel time. The probability distribution of travel time is estimated according to Bayes estimation method. The combined probability distribution of a feasible route is calculated according to probability operation. The objective function is to find the route that has the biggest probability to arrive for desired time thresholds. Improved Genetic Algorithm is used to calculate the optimal path. The efficiency of the proposed method is illustrated with a practical example. 展开更多

叶际微生物在维持植物健康生长方面具有重要的作用,然而,目前我们对珍稀孑遗植物半日花(Helianthemum songaricum)叶际真菌的多样性和群落结构等知之甚少。因此,本研究利用Illumina高通量测序技术检测西鄂尔多斯自然保护区半日花叶片表... 叶际微生物在维持植物健康生长方面具有重要的作用,然而,目前我们对珍稀孑遗植物半日花(Helianthemum songaricum)叶际真菌的多样性和群落结构等知之甚少。因此,本研究利用Illumina高通量测序技术检测西鄂尔多斯自然保护区半日花叶片表生和内生真菌的多样性,探究其网络结构特征以及群落构建的机制。结果显示:棋盘井地区的叶际表生真菌丰富度指数(156.38±8.42)显著高于内生真菌(111.13±5.57),棋盘井叶际表生真菌丰富度指数显著高于拉僧庙(125.57±7.20)和千里山(114.75±10.35),而拉僧庙的内生真菌丰富度指数(155.71±15.40)显著高于棋盘井。叶际真菌以子囊菌门、毛霉菌门和担子菌门为优势门,叶际表生真菌和内生真菌分别在3个不同地点具有显著的指示类群,叶片部位(即叶表和叶内)和地点显著影响叶片真菌的群落组成。共存网络分析表明,叶际表生和内生真菌主要是协同作用,拮抗作用较小。半日花叶际表生和内生真菌群落的构建主要由随机性过程驱动。综上所述,半日花叶际表生和内生真菌的多样性和群落组成受到叶片部位(叶表和叶内)和地点的显著影响,随机性过程主导叶际表生和内生真菌的群落构建。研究结果可为珍稀濒危植物的保护和合理利用提供一定的科学基础和实践指导。 展开更多

Herbal medicines have recently been recognized as the second most common cause of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) in the United States. However, reliable methods to identify the DILl causality of some herbs, such a... Herbal medicines have recently been recognized as the second most common cause of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) in the United States. However, reliable methods to identify the DILl causality of some herbs, such as Heshouwu (dried root ofPolygonum multiflorum), remain lacking. In this study, a total of 12 307 inpatients with liver dysfunction and 147 literature-reported cases of Heshouwu DILI were screened. A general algorithm indicated that only 22.5% (9/40) and 30.6% (45/147) of all hospitalization and literature case reports, respectively, demonstrate the high probability of DILI causality of Heshouwu. By contrast, 95% (19/20) of all cases prospectively investigated by pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, and metabolomic tests exhibited highly probable causality, including a patient who was previously incorrectly attributed and a case that was excluded from Heshouwu causality by pharmacognostic evidence. Toxin (heavy metals, pesticides, and mycotoxins) contamination was also excluded from Heshouwu DILI causality. The objectivity of these screening methods for Heshouwu DILI diagnosis addresses safety concerns regarding stilbene-containing herbal medicines and dietary supplements. 展开更多

The main constituents of a typical medicinal herb, Polygonum multiflorum (Heshouwu in Chinese), that induces idiosyncratic liver injury remain unclear. Our previous work has shown that cotreatment with a nontoxic dose of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and therapeutic dose of Heshouwu can induce liver injury in rats, whereas the solo treatment cannot induce observable injury. In the present work, using the constituent "knock-out" and "knock-in" strategy, we found that the ethyl acetate (EA) extract of Heshouwu displayed comparable idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity to the whole extract in LPS-treated rats. Results indicated a significant elevation of plasma alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, and liver histologic changes, whereas other separated fractions failed to induce liver injury. The mixture of EA extract with other separated fractions induced comparable idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity to the whole extract in LPS-treated rats. Chemical analysis further revealed that 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy trans-stilbene-2-O-p-glucoside (trans-SG) and its cis-isomer were the two major compounds in EA extract. Furthermore, the isolated cis-, and not its trans-isomer, displayed comparable idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity to EA extract in LPS-treated rats. Higher contents of cis-SG were detected in Heshouwu liquor or preparations from actual liver intoxication patients associated with Heshouwu compared with general collected samples. In addition, plasma metabolomics analysis showed that cis-SG-disturbing enriched pathways remarkably differed from trans-SG ones in LPS-treated rats. All these results suggested that cis-SG was closely associated with the idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity of Heshouwu. Considering that the cis-trans isomerization oftrans- SG was mediated by ultraviolet light or sunlight, our findings serve as reference for controlling photoisomerization in drug discovery and for the clinical use of Heshouwu and stilbene-related medications. 展开更多

In the present study, we aimed to compare the efficacy and adherence of Runzhong;(generic drug, Chiatai Tianqing,Nanjing) and Baraclude;(branded drug, Bristol-Myers Squibb) in patients with chronic hepatitis B. We collected patient data from three hospitals within 48 weeks and compared the two groups by using the propensity-score matching method. A total of 4889 patients were enrolled in this study;503 initiated a brand-name drug, and 4386 received a generic drug. There was no significant difference in the rates of CVR(complete virologic response) and VB(virologic breakthrough) between the Runzhong;group and Baraclude;group at 24 and 48 weeks. Similar results for HBeAg loss, medication possession ratio(MPR), and biological response were obtained. Age, gender(HR 0.909(0.842–0.981)), normal baseline ALT rate(HR 0.789(0.731–0.851)), HBeAg-positive rate, and baseline undetectable HBV DNA rate(HR 0.306(0.234–0.399)) were independent factors for achieving CVR. 展开更多
