The development of various artificial electronics and machines would explosively increase the amount of information and data,which need to be processed via in-situ remediation.Bioinspired synapse devices can store and process signals in a parallel way,thus improving fault tolerance and decreasing the power consumption of artificial systems.The organic field effect transistor(OFET)is a promising component for bioinspired neuromorphic systems because it is suitable for large-scale integrated circuits and flexible devices.In this review,the organic semiconductor materials,structures and fabrication,and different artificial sensory perception systems functions based on neuromorphic OFET devices are summarized.Subsequently,a summary and challenges of neuromorphic OFET devices are provided.This review presents a detailed introduction to the recent progress of neuromorphic OFET devices from semiconductor materials to perception systems,which would serve as a reference for the development of neuromorphic systems in future bioinspired electronics. 展开更多

Objective:This meta-analysis aims to systematically evaluate the effects of massage on infants with jaundice.Methods:Multiple electronic databases,including Cochrane Library,PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,China Biology Medicine (CBM),Wan Fang Data,VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),were used to search for studies on the effects of massage on infants with jaundice.Data were analysed by Rev Man 5.3.Results:A total of 14 randomised controlled trials with 1889 patients were included.Statistically significant difference in percutaneous bilirubin [MD =-1.21,95% CI (-1.90,-0.52),P< 0.05;MD =-2.00,95% CI (-2.68,-1.32),P<0.05;MD=-2.00,95% CI (2.56,-1.44),P<0.05;MD=-1.93,95% CI (-2.44,-1.43),P< 0.05] was found between two groups at 48,72,96 and 168 h.Studies on the serum total bilirubin level were divided into two subgroups according to sample size,and the results of subgroup analysis showed that the serum total bilirubin level in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group [MD =-52.06,95% CI (-57.76,-46.36),P< 0.05 and MD =-10.65,95% CI (-14.66,-6.63),P < 0.05].Statistically significant difference in defecation frequency was observed between the two groups at 48 h after birth[SMD =0.44,95%CI (0.02,0.87),P< 0.05].Conclusion:Massage can decrease serum total bilirubin and percutaneous bilirubin levels and increasing defecation frequency.However,due to heterogeneity among studies,numerous multi-centre,largesample and high-quality randomised controlled trials are needed to verify the effects of massage. 展开更多

Objective:The meta-analysis is to objectively evaluate the efficacy of Tai Chi exercise for motor function and sleep quality in patients with stroke.Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about the effects of Tai Chi versus a non-exercise or conventional rehabilitation exercise control group on motor function and sleep quality in patients with stroke were searched from multiple electronic databases(PubMed,Web of Science,the Cochrane Library,EMBASE,AMED,CBM,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP)until August 2016.Two investigators independently screened eligible studies,extracted data,and assessed the methodological quality by using the quality evaluation criteria for RCTs recommended by Cochrane Handbook.Then meta-analysis was performed by RevMan5.3 software.Results:A total of 17 RCTs with 1209 participants were included.The meta-analysis indicated that there was a significant difference on improving the balance function(P<0.001)and ability of daily activity(P=0.0003)of patients with stroke between Tai Chi group and control group.However,no significant effect was found on Tai Chi for walking function and sleep quality(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tai Chi exercise can significantly improve the balance function and ability of daily activities of patients with stroke,and there are no significant differences in walking function and sleep quality.Therefore,lots of multicenter,large-sample,higher quality randomized controlled trials are needed to verify the effects of Tai Chi exercise in improving walking function and sleep quality for patients with stroke. 展开更多

Background:Miniature pigs are attractive animal models for exploring diabetes because they are similar to humans in terms of physiological structure and metabolism.However,little is known about the complications of diabetes in pigs.Methods:In this study,a 28-month observation of a Wuzhishan miniature pig with streptozotocin(STZ)-induced(120 mg/kg)diabetes was conducted,to investigate diabetes-related complications and the possibility of self-recovery in miniature pigs.Blood glucose,serum and urinary biochemistry was measured,and histopathologic examinations of eyes,kidney and pancreas were made.Results:During the observation,diabetic complications of eyes and kidney were observed.The eye complications included bilateral cataracts in the 15th month and degeneration of inner retina and microaneurysm in the 28th month.Kidney complications included glomerular mesangial expansion,focal segmental glomerular sclerosis,and renal tubular epithelial degeneration,but no proteinuria was observed.By 28 months after the application of STZ,with no treatment given,blood glucose had recovered and the number of pancreatic islet beta-cells had increased significantly.Conclusions:We showed that the STZ-induced diabetes model in miniature pigs could accurately mimic the pathological changes of human diabetes,and that pancreatic islet beta-cell regeneration did occur in an adult miniature pig,providing a new means for exploring diabetic complications and pancreatic islet beta-cell regeneration. 展开更多

In this study, a continuous and airtight twin-spiral dryer was developed in accordance with the characteristics and challenges in the process of disposing polysilicon slurry. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations were used to investigate the flow field in the rotating twin-spiral continuous dryer and an original discrete phase model was also elaborated to compare with the cold-modeling experimental results. The corresponding flow field was obtained using the available inlet velocity of 0.05–0.3 m/s and the rotational speed of the inner cone of 12–44 r/min, the residence time distribution, and tracked particles trajectory. Results showed that the residence time of the tracer particles in the cone cylinder was about 15.8–25.4% of the time spent out of it, and the particle’s residence time was much shorter in contrast to the rotational speed and inlet velocity. The external ribbon had a larger influence on the fluid, thereby leading to a larger velocity in the region outside the cone compared to that in the region inside the cone. In addition, the appearance of the vortex and boundary layer separation at the back of the ribbon and the spoke bar had secondary diversion effects on the fluid. Furthermore, the inlet velocity had little influence on the flow field while the rotational speed of the cone greatly affected the flow field. Considerable developments have been observed in fragment-based lead/drug discovery(FBLD/FBDD)recently,with four drugs approved and many others under investigation.Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)has gained increasing popularity in FBLD due to its intrinsic capability in characterizing protein-ligand interactions in a large dynamic range of affinity,from weak hits to highly potent drugs.Here,we summarize NMR applications in fragment-based hit-to-lead evolution,including the construction of a fragment library,screening methods,spectra processing,and the delineation of the protein-ligand binding modes.These state-of-the-art NMR techniques have been exemplified in the discovery of inhibitors against multiple targets over the past five years,and they are expected to continue to provide new insights in the future. 展开更多

The increasing Chinese online reviews contain rich product demand information,especially for search products.This study suggests a product feature extraction model from online reviews based on multi-feature fusion named PFEMF(products features extraction based on multi-feature fusion)model.Combining sentence and word characteristics of Chinese online reviews,the model explores the lexical features,frequency features,span features,and semantic similarity features of words.And then,they are fused to identify the features that customers are concerned about most by sequential relationship analysis.The identified product feature provides direction for product innovation and facilitates the product selection for customers.Finally,the study takes iPad Air as an example to prove this model.The results show that the extraction performance of the PFEMF model is superior to the traditional term frequency-inverse document frequency(tf-idf)algorithm,word span algorithm,and semantic similarity algorithm. 展开更多

In modern medicine, coronary heart disease is also one of the most common coronary disease which affects people's health. And physical activity is proved to be closely related to rehabilitation and prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease. Since physical activity is good for coronary heart disease, so what is the current level of physical activity in patients with coronary heart disease? And what is the causes of different levels of it? Here, we reviewed the measurement and influencing factors of physical activity for coronary heart disease patients. Objective:Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa)contains a hierarchy of quorum sensing(QS)network,consisting of the las,rhl and pqs systems,which play a key role in coordinating the expression of virulence factors.PA2146 was found to be associated with P.aeruginosa pathogenicity in macrophage and host Immune response.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of PA2146 on the virulence of P.aeruginosa and explore its mechanism.Methods:PA2146 gene knockout strain and complement strain of P.aeruginosa PAO1 were constructed.The biomass of biofilm was detected by crystal violet staining;the virulence factors were measured,including pyocyanin,rhamnolipid,LasA elastase,LasB elastase and hemolytic activity;RNA-seq and label-free relative quantitative proteomics analyses were carried out to test the influence of PA2146 on transcriptomics and proteomics.This study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Third Xiangya Hospital,Central South University,China(approval No.2019-S021).Results:PA2146-deficient strains showed reduced biofilm formation and increased pyocyanin,rhamnolipid,LasA elastase,LasB elastase,and hemolytic activity,as well as increased motility,compared with the wild-type strain.RNA-seq and label-free relative quantitative proteomics analyses revealed that PA2146 repressed the transcription of several genes that are integral to the pqs system and to pyocyanin biosynthesis,and increased the expression of MexEF-OprN efflux pump components at the gene and protein level.Conclusion:PA2146 gene was found to inhibit the pqs system.PA2146 may affect quorum sensing by directly inhibiting the pqs system or by enhancing the expression of MexEF-OprN efflux pump components,thereby promoting efflux of 2-heptyl-4(1H)-quinolone,a Pseudomonas quinolone signal precursor,and thus affecting P.aeruginosa virulence. 展开更多
