[Objectives]This study was conducted to systematically present the research and development status of Wuling Powder over the years, and comprehensively analyze the hot spots and trends of Wuling Powder in the treatmen...[Objectives]This study was conducted to systematically present the research and development status of Wuling Powder over the years, and comprehensively analyze the hot spots and trends of Wuling Powder in the treatment of diseases, so as to provide reference for scholars in this field in the future. [Methods] China National Knowledge Network(CNKI) database was used as the literature retrieval source to search the literature related to Wuling Powder in the treatment of nephropathy, and then the data visualization analysis was carried out by using the software citespace.5.7.R2. [Results] Through accurate retrieval, a total of 204 effective literatures were included. It was found that domestic research on the treatment of nephropathy by Wuling Powder was on the rise. From the analysis of knowledge graph, it was concluded that after long-term research and development, a relatively concentrated core research group had been formed in China, which mainly focused on "Wuling Powder", "chronic kidney disease" and "diabetic nephropathy". [Conclusions] The research on the treatment of nephropathy by Wuling Powder shows a good development trend, and the research content is constantly enriched, and this research is still the current and future research hotspot.展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the renal protective effects of Wuling Powder on mice with nephrotic syndrome(NS)based on Notch pathway.[Methods]Sixty KM mice were randomly divided into normal grou...[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate the renal protective effects of Wuling Powder on mice with nephrotic syndrome(NS)based on Notch pathway.[Methods]Sixty KM mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,prednisone acetate positive group,high-dose Wuling Powder group,medium-dose Wuling Power group and low-dose Wuling Power group,with 10 mice in each group.Three days after prophylactic administration,a comprehensive nephropathy model was prepared by injecting 1 mg/ml doxorubicin hydrochloride solution(7.5 mg/kg)into the tail vein.After successful modeling,prednisone acetate and Wuling SAN were given high,medium and low doses for intervention for 28 d,respectively.After that,urinary protein and creatinine contents of mice in each group were detected,and pathological damage of renal tissue was observed by HE and Masson staining.The mRNA levels of Notch1,Jagged1 and Hes1 in mouse kidney tissues were detected by RT-PCR,and the expression levels of Notch1,Jagged1 and Hes1 proteins were detected by Western blot.[Results]Wuling Powder could effectively reduce the contents of urine protein(P<0.01)and Scr(P<0.01)in NS mice,and alleviate the pathological injury of kidney.Compared with the model group,the prednisone acetate group and various Wuling Powder groups could down-regulate the expressions of Notch1,Jagged1 and Hes1 mRNA in the kidney tissue of mice(P<0.01),and the expression of Notch1 protein in the renal tissue of mice decreased(P<0.01).The contents of Hes1 in the prednisone acetate group and the high-and medium-dose Wuling Powder groups significantly decreased(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Wuling Powder could protect the kidneys in mice with NS through Notch pathway.展开更多
Knowledge of the function of growth-regulating factors(GRFs)in sugarcane(Saccharum officinarum and S.spontaneum)growth and development could assist breeders in selecting desirable plant architectures.However,limited i...Knowledge of the function of growth-regulating factors(GRFs)in sugarcane(Saccharum officinarum and S.spontaneum)growth and development could assist breeders in selecting desirable plant architectures.However,limited information about GRFs is available in Saccharum due to their polyploidy.In this study,22 GRFs were identified in the two species and their conserved domains,gene structures,chromosome location,and synteny were characterized.GRF7 expression varied among tissues and responded to diurnal rhythm.SsGRF7-YFP was localized preferentially in the nucleus and appears to act as a transcriptional cofactor.SsGRF7 positively regulated the size and length of rice leaves,possibly by regulating cell size and plant hormones.Of seven potential transcription factors binding to the SsGRF7 promoter in S.spontaneum,four showed positive expression patterns,and two showed negative expression patterns relative to SsGRF7.展开更多

The transport mechanisms of water,heat,and salt in unsaturated frozen soil,as well as its response to future climate change are in urgent need of study.In this study,western Jilin Province in north-eastern China was s...The transport mechanisms of water,heat,and salt in unsaturated frozen soil,as well as its response to future climate change are in urgent need of study.In this study,western Jilin Province in north-eastern China was studied to produce a model of coupled water-heat-salt in unsaturated frozen soil using CoupModel.The water,heat,and salt dynamics of unsaturated frozen soil under three representative concentration pathway(RCP)scenarios were simulated to analyze the effects of future climate change on unsaturated frozen soil.The results show that water,heat,and salt migration are tightly coupled,and the soil salt concentration in the surface layer(10 cm)exhibits explosive growth after freezing and thawing.The future(2020–2099)meteorological factors in the study area were predicted using the Statistical Downscaling Model(SDSM).For RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5 scenarios,future temperatures during the freeze–thaw period increased by 2.68°C,3.18°C,and 4.28°C,respectively;precipitation increased by 30.28 mm,28.41 mm,and 32.17 mm,respectively;and evaporation increased by 93.57 mm,106.95 mm,and 130.57 mm,respectively.Climate change will shorten the freeze–thaw period,advance the soil melting time from April to March,and enhance water and salt transport.Compared to the baseline period(1961–2005),future soil salt concentrations at 10 cm increased by 1547.54 mg/L,1762.86 mg/L,and 1713.66 mg/L under RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5,respectively.The explosive salt accumulation is more obvious.Effective measures should be taken to prevent the salinization of unsaturated frozen soils and address climate change.展开更多
The protein kinase B(Akt)pathway can regulate the growth,proliferation,and metabolism of tumor cells and stem cells through the activation of multiple downstream target genes,thus affecting the development and treatme...The protein kinase B(Akt)pathway can regulate the growth,proliferation,and metabolism of tumor cells and stem cells through the activation of multiple downstream target genes,thus affecting the development and treatment of a range of diseases.thioesterase superfamily member 4(THEM4),a member of the thioesterase superfamily,is one of the Akt kinase-binding proteins.Some studies on the mechanism of cancers and other diseases have shown that THEM4 binds to Akt to regulate its phosphorylation.Initially,THEM4 was considered an endogenous inhibitor of Akt,which can inhibit the phosphorylation of Akt in diseases such as lung cancer,pancreatic cancer,and liver cancer,but subsequently,THEM4 was shown to promote the proliferation of tumor cells by positively regulating Akt activity in breast cancer and nasopharyngeal carcinoma,which contradicts previous findings.Considering these two distinct views,this review summarizes the important roles of THEM4 in the Akt pathway,focusing on THEM4 as an Akt-binding protein and its regulatory relationship with Akt phosphorylation in various diseases,especially cancer.This work provides a better understanding of the roles of THEM4 combined with Akt in the treatment of diseases.展开更多
