Strategies for Improving Diet Education for Children Under the Background of Building a Healthy China

Diet education can expand children’s life experience,cultivate good living habits,and develop their character,contributing to the construction of a healthy China.Developing diet education helps children improve their health awareness and enables them to form healthy eating behaviors and lifestyles,laying the foundation for their healthy growth and lifelong development.It is not just about disseminating nutrition knowledge but also involves the integration of health education,labor education,and family education through practical experiences.This study analyzes the importance of promoting diet education for children and proposes four promotion strategies that draw on families,schools,relevant departments,and social groups,as well as pilot projects.The application of these strategies will help enhance the effectiveness of diet education and enable children to form healthy eating habits and develop the basic ability to maintain their health.

Research on Practical Pathways of Strengthening Labor Education for College and University Students in the New Era

Labor education is an essential component of college and university education that can help students to develop a strong work ethic,acquire practical skills,and better understand the value of work.Strengthening labor education for college and university students is an urgent need of the high-quality development of the society and the internal requirement of promoting the all-round development of individuals.This study analyzes the importance of strengthening labor education for college and university students in the new era and proposes four practical pathways which draw on labor courses and campus activities,social practices,scientific research projects,and internships.After implementing these pathways,a survey of 967 students showed that students’understanding and awareness of labor was deepened,their hands-on skills and interests in science and labor practices were improved,and they became more cordially respectful to the working class.Taken together,the exploration and practice of these pathways helps college and university students to recognize their abilities,strengths,and interests,and guides them to form good labor habits that permeate all aspects of their studies and lives.

Research on Innovative Ways of Integrating Aesthetic Education with Ideological and Political Education in the New Era

Aesthetic education and ideological and political education undertake the educational responsibilities of educating people with beauty and cultivating people with morals,respectively.The innovation of aesthetic education and the reform of ideological and political education have common educational goals and target students.Integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education can promote the overall healthy development of students,which has both historical and practical significance.In this paper,the importance and characteristics of integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education in colleges and universities are analyzed from multiple dimensions,and four feasible ways of integrating aesthetic education with ideological and political education are proposed.The latter draws on extracurricular activities,emotional touch,a pleasant aesthetic atmosphere,and educational synergy to improve students’aesthetic literacy and cultivate correct ideological and political concepts among students.A survey of 1,047 students showed that the understanding and acceptance of ideological and political education were strengthened and improved after implementing these innovative integration ways.Taken together,the exploration and practice of these integration ways contribute to expanding the effect of ideological and political education in the new era and constitute important parts of the reform of college and university education in the new journey.

Efficient purification of cell culture-derived classical swine fever virus by ultrafiltration and size-exclusion chromatography

Large-scale production of cell culture-based classical swine fever virus(CSFV)vaccine is hampered by the adverse reactions caused by contaminants from host cell and culture medium.Hence,we have developed an efficient method for purifying CSFV from cell-culture medium.Pure viral particles were obtained with two steps of tangential-flow filtration(TFF)and size-exclusion chromatography(SEC),and were compared with particles from ultracentrifugation by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),infectivity and recovery test,and real time fluorescent quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR).TFF concentrated the virus particles effectively with a retention rate of 98.5%,and 86.2%of viral particles were obtained from the ultrafiltration retentate through a Sepharose 4 F F column on a biological liquid chromatography system.CSFV purified by TFF-SEC or ultracentrifugation were both biologically active from 1.0×10–4.25 TCID50·mL^(–1) to 3.0×10^(–6.25) TCID50·mL^(–1),but the combination of TFF and SEC produced more pure virus particles than by ultracentrifugation alone.In addition,pure CSFV particles with the expected diameter of 40–60 nm were roughly spherical without any visible contamination.Mice immunized with CSFV purified by TFF-SEC produced higher antibody levels compared with immunization with ultracentrifugation-purified CSFV(P<0.05).The purification procedures in this study are reliable technically and feasible for purification of large volumes of viruses.
