Objective Ferritin,initially acting as an iron-storage protein,was found to be associated with metabolic diseases.Our study was designed to investigate the association between serum ferritin and metabolic-associated f...Objective Ferritin,initially acting as an iron-storage protein,was found to be associated with metabolic diseases.Our study was designed to investigate the association between serum ferritin and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)of the United State of America.Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted,enrolling a total of 2145 participants from the NHANES in the 2017–2018 cycles.Hepatic steatosis and liver fibrosis were assessed by ultrasound images and several non-invasive indexes.Multiple regression analysis was conducted to determine the associations between serum ferritin concentration and MAFLD and liver fibrosis.Results The analysis revealed that participants with higher serum ferritin levels(Q3 and Q4 groups)had a higher prevalence of MAFLD than those with the lowest serum ferritin levels[Q3 vs.Q1:OR=2.17(1.33,3.53),P<0.05 in fatty liver index(FLI);Q4 vs.Q1:OR=3.13(1.91,5.13),P<0.05 in FLI].Additionally,participants with the highest serum ferritin levels(Q4 group)displayed a higher prevalence of liver fibrosis[Q4 vs.Q1:OR=2.59(1.19,5.62),P<0.05 in liver stiffness measurement;OR=5.06(1.12,22.94),P<0.05 in fibrosis-4 index],with significantly increased risk observed in participants with concomitant diabetes[OR=7.45(1.55,35.72),P=0.012].Conclusion Our study revealed that elevated serum ferritin levels are associated with a higher prevalence of MAFLD and advanced liver fibrosis in patients.Elevated serum ferritin levels combined with diabetes are important risk factors for liver fibrosis.展开更多
Objective Cuproptosis is a novel cell death pathway that was newly discovered in early 2022.However,cuproptosis is still in its infancy in many respects and warrants further research in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).T...Objective Cuproptosis is a novel cell death pathway that was newly discovered in early 2022.However,cuproptosis is still in its infancy in many respects and warrants further research in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).This study aimed to analyze the mechanism of cuprptosis in HCC.Methods Herein,the tumor microenvironment infiltration landscape of molecular subtypes was illustrated using GSVA,ssGSEA,TIMER,CIBERSORT,and ESTIMATE algorithms based on the expression profile of cuproptosis-related genes(CRGs)from TCGA and GEO databases.Then,the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression method was applied to construct a cuproptosis signature to quantify the cuproptosis profile of HCC.Further,we explored the expression of three hub CRGs in cell lines and clinical patient tissues of HCC by Western blotting,qRT-PCR and immunohistochemistry.Finally,we examined the function of dihydrolipoamide S-acetyltransferase(DLAT)in cuproptosis in HCC by loss-of-function strategy,Western blotting and CCK8 assay.Results Three distinct molecular subtypes were identified.Cluster 2 had the greatest infiltration of immune cells with best prognosis.The cuproptosis signature was indicative of tumor subtype,immunity,and prognosis for HCC,and specifically,a low cuproptosis score foreshadowed good prognosis.DLAT was highly expressed in liver cancer cell lines and HCC tissues and positively correlated with clinical stage and grade.We also found that potent copper ionophore elesclomol could induce cuproptosis in a copper-dependent manner.Selective Cu^(++)chelator ammonium tetrathiomolybdate and downregulating DLAT expression by siRNA could effectively inhibit cuproptosis.Conclusion Cuproptosis and DLAT as a promising biomarker could help to determine the prognosis of HCC and may offer novel insights for effective treatment.展开更多
Live yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae) constitutes an effective additive for animal production;its probiotic effect may be related to the concentrate-to-forage ratio(CTFR).The objective of this study was to assess t...Live yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae) constitutes an effective additive for animal production;its probiotic effect may be related to the concentrate-to-forage ratio(CTFR).The objective of this study was to assess the effects of S.cerevisiae(SC) on fiber degradation and rumen microbial populations in steers fed diets with different levels of dietary concentrate.Ten Simmental × Local crossbred steers(450 ± 50 kg BW) were assigned to a control group or an SC group.Both groups were fed the same basal diet but the SC group received SC supplementation(8 × 10^9 cfu/h/d through the ruminal fistula)following a two-period crossover design.Each period consisted of four phases,each of which lasted 17 d:10 d for dietary adaptation,6 d for degradation study,and 1 d for rumen sample collection.From the 1^(st) to the 4^(th) phase,steers were fed in a stepwise fashion with increasing CTFRs,i.e.,30:70,50:50,70:30,and 90:10.The kinetics of dry matter and fiber degradation of alfalfa pellets were evaluated;the rumen microbial populations were detected using real-time PCR.The results revealed no significant(P〉 0.05) interactions between dietary CTFR and SC for most parameters.Dietary CTFR had a significant effect(P〈 0.01) on degradation characteristics of alfalfa pellets and the copies of rumen microorganism;the increasing concentrate level resulted in linear,quadratic or cubic variation trend for these parameters.SC supplementation significantly(P〈 0.05) affected dry matter(DM) and neutral detergent fiber(NDF)degradation rates(c_(DM),c_(NDF)) and NDF effective degradability(ED_(NDF)).Compared with the control group,there was an increasing trend of rumen fungi and protozoa in SC group(P 〈 0.1);copies of total bacteria in SC group were significantly higher(P〈 0.05).Additionally,percentage of Ruminobacter amylophilus was significantly lower(P〈 0.05)but percentage of Selenomonas ruminantium was significantly higher(P〈 0.05) in the SC group.In a word,dietary CTFR had a significant effect on degradation characteristics of forage and rumen microbial population.S.cerevisiae had positive effects on DM and NDF degradation rate or effective degradability of forage;S.cerevisiae increased rumen total bacteria,fungi,protozoa,and lactate-utilizing bacteria but reduced starch-degrading and lactate-producing bacteria.展开更多

Since that many numerical methods on the subject have been developed, such as pure numerical techniques, ray method and boundary method. The boundary method based on boundary integral equation is a semi-analytical method which is suitable to modeling wave field induced by irregular border. According to the property of the applied Green's function the boundary methods can be sorted into space domain boundary method and wavenumber domain boundary method. For both of them it is necessary to solve a large equation, which means much computation is needed. Thus, it is difficult for the boundary methods to be applied in simulating wave field with high frequency or in large range. To develop a new method with less computation is meaningful. For this purpose, localized boundary integral equation, i.e., discrete wavenumber method is proposed. It is rooted in the Bouchon-Campillo method, an important wavenumber domain boundary method. Firstly the force on interface is separated into two parts: one is on flat part and the other on irregular part of the interface. Then Fourier transform is applied to identify their relation, the unknown distributes only on irregular part. Consequently computation efficiency is dramatically improved. Importantly its accuracy is the same as that of Bouchon-Campillo.展开更多
Cotton architecture is partly determined by shoot branching and flowering patterns.Gh BRC1 was previously identified by RNA-seq analysis of nulliplex-branching and normal-branching cotton.However,the roles of Gh BRC1 ...Cotton architecture is partly determined by shoot branching and flowering patterns.Gh BRC1 was previously identified by RNA-seq analysis of nulliplex-branching and normal-branching cotton.However,the roles of Gh BRC1 in cotton remain unclear.In the present study,investigations of nuclear localization and transcriptional activity indicated that Gh BRC1 has characteristics typical of transcription factors.Gene expression analysis showed that Gh BRC1 was highly expressed in axillary buds but displayed different expression patterns between the two branching types.Overexpression of Gh BRC1 in Arabidopsis significantly inhibited the number of branches and promoted flowering.In contrast,silencing Gh BRC1 in cotton significantly promoted seedling growth.Gh BRC1 was induced by multiple hormones,including strigolactones,which promoted seedling growth and seed germination of Arabidopsis plants overexpressing Gh BRC1.Consistent with these findings,RNA-seq analysis of virus-induced gene silencing treated cotton revealed that a large number of genes were differentially expressed between Gh BRC1-silenced and control plants,and these genes were significantly enriched in plant hormone signalling pathways.Together,our data indicates that Gh BRC1 regulates plant branching and flowering through multiple regulatory pathways,especially those regulating plant hormones,with functions partly differing from those of Arabidopsis BRC1.These results provide insights into the molecular mechanisms controlling plant architecture,which is important for breeding cotton with ideal plant architecture and high yield.展开更多
Objective Ubiquitin conjugate enzyme E2O(UBE2O)is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that has been reported to be involved in tumorigenesis.This study investigated the role of UBE2O in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Method...Objective Ubiquitin conjugate enzyme E2O(UBE2O)is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that has been reported to be involved in tumorigenesis.This study investigated the role of UBE2O in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The expression of UBE2O was detected using qRT-PCR,Western blotting,and immunohistochemical staining.Cell proliferation and Transwell assays were used to detect proliferation,migration,and invasion of HCC cells,respectively.Bioinformatic analysis was performed to analyze the relationship between UBE2O and the clinical features,prognosis,and immune cell infiltration of HCC.Results UBE2O was significantly over-expressed in HCC tissues.High expression of UBE2O was associated with poor tumor grade and poor prognosis.Functional experiments showed that down-regulation of UBE2O inhibited HCC cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.Co-expression gene analysis and gene set enrichment analysis showed that UBE2O was associated with protein hydrolysis,cell cycle,and cancer-related pathways in HCC.The results of immune analysis revealed that the expression of UBE2O was positively correlated with the immune infiltration and expression of immune-related chemokines of HCC.Conclusions UBE2O is significantly correlated with the prognosis of HCC and may be a valuable prognostic biomarker for HCC.展开更多
AIM: To investigate the roles of mucin histochemistry, cytokeratin 7/20 (CK7/20) immunoreactivity, clinical characteristics and endoscopy to distinguish short- segment Barrett's esophageal (SSBE) from cardiac in...AIM: To investigate the roles of mucin histochemistry, cytokeratin 7/20 (CK7/20) immunoreactivity, clinical characteristics and endoscopy to distinguish short- segment Barrett's esophageal (SSBE) from cardiac intestinal metaplasia (CIM). METHODS: High iron diamine/Alcian blue (HID/AB) mucin-histochemical staining and immunohistochemical staining were used to classify intestinal metaplasia (IN) and to determine CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern in SSBE and CIM, respectively, and these results were compared with endoscopical diagnosis and the positive rate of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms and H pylori infection. Long-segment Barrett' s esophageal and IM of gastric antrum were designed as control. RESULTS: The prevalence of type III IM was significantly higher in SSBE than in CIM (63.33% vs 23.08%, P〈0.005). The CK7/20 immunoreactivity in SSBE showed mainly Barrett's pattern (76.66%), and the GERD symptoms in most cases which showed Barrett' s pattern were positive, whereas H pylori infection was negative. However, the CK7/20 immunoreactivity in CIM was gastric pattern preponderantly (61.54%), but there were 23.08% cases that showed Barrett's pattern. H pylori infection in all cases which showed gastric pattern was significantly higher than those which showed Barrett' s pattern (63.83% vs 19.30%, P〈0.005), whereas the GERD symptoms in gastric pattern were significantly lower than that in Barrett's pattern (21.28% vs 85.96%,P〈O.O05). CONCLUSION: Distinction of SSBE from CIM should not be based on a single method; however, the combination of clinical characteristics, histology, mucin histochemistry, CK7/20 immunoreactivity, and endoscopic biopsy should be applied. Type III IM, presence of GERD symptoms, and Barrett's CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern may support the diagnosis of SSBE, whereas non-type III IM, positive H pylori infection, and gastric CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern may imply CIM.展开更多
Purpose:Ocular trauma occurs disproportionately in children on an annual basis.However,because of this frequency,other diagnoses,.such as orbital neoplasms,.can easily be ignored.Methods:We report on a two-year-old bo...Purpose:Ocular trauma occurs disproportionately in children on an annual basis.However,because of this frequency,other diagnoses,.such as orbital neoplasms,.can easily be ignored.Methods:We report on a two-year-old boy who presented with a dark purple,irregularly shaped lesion on his lower left eyelid.The patient had suffered injuries twice to that area.Results:Axial computed tomography images demonstrated an ill-defined and inhomogeneous soft tissue mass in the lateral and posterior region of the left orbit,.with bony destruction and absorption of the adjacent orbital wall..Magnetic resonance imaging of the orbit showed a lesion involving the greater sphenoidal wing,the supraorbital wall,and the frontal area.Enlarged nuchal and inguinal lymph nodes were detected by sonographic examination.Histopathological examination of a surgical biopsy showed an accumulation of characteristic Langerhans cells.The diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis was confirmed by immunohistochemical examinations positive for CD1a and SP-100.Conclusion:Orbital Langerhans cell histiocytosis is rarely encountered in ophthalmic practice,.so the ophthalmologist needs to be familiar with its presentation and work-up,.and has to be aware of possible OLCH diagnosis when a child(or even an adult)presents with prolonged and persistent eyelid edema,.even with a history of ocular trauma.展开更多

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of sudden deafness.Methods:Ninety-six patients with sudden deafness diagnosed by the otolaryngology department were divided into 2 groups ...Objective:To observe the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of sudden deafness.Methods:Ninety-six patients with sudden deafness diagnosed by the otolaryngology department were divided into 2 groups which comprised of 48 patients in the conventional treatment group and the other 48 patients in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group.Both groups were treated with methylcobalamin,vitamin B1,and ginkgo biloba extract.The patients in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy of 2.0 ATA once a day.Each course of treatment lasted 10 days and after two courses of treatment,the clinical efficacies of the two groups were compared.Results:After two courses of treatment,the effect of treatment in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group was significantly better than that of the conventional treatment group.Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can effectively improve the hearing level of patients with sudden deafness and the overall effective rate of treatment.展开更多
Posttranslational modifications increase the complexity and functional diversity of proteins in response to complex external stimuli and internal changes.Among these,protein lipidations which refer to lipid attachment...Posttranslational modifications increase the complexity and functional diversity of proteins in response to complex external stimuli and internal changes.Among these,protein lipidations which refer to lipid attachment to proteins are prominent,which primarily encompassing five types including S-palmitoylation,N-myristoylation,S-prenylation,glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPl)anchor and cholesterylation.Lipid attachment to proteins plays an essential role in the regulation of protein trafficking,localisation,stability,conformation,interactions and signal transduction by enhancing hydrophobicity.Accumulating evidence from genetic,structural,and biomedical studies has consistently shown that protein lipidation is pivotal in the regulation of broad physiological functions and is inextricably linked to a variety of diseases.Decades of dedicated research have driven the development of a wide range of drugs targeting protein lipidation,and several agents have been developed and tested in preclinical and clinical studies,some of which,such as asciminib and lonafarnib are FDA-approved for therapeutic use,indicating that targeting protein lipidations represents a promising therapeutic strategy.Here,we comprehensively review the known regulatory enzymes and catalytic mechanisms of various protein lipidation types,outline the impact of protein lipidations on physiology and disease,and highlight potential therapeutic targets and clinical research progress,aiming to provide a comprehensive reference for future protein lipidation research.展开更多
To editor:This study reports a pregnant woman who was naturally conceived with monochorionic triamniotic(MCTA)combined with twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP).An ultrasound revealed that one of the fetuses had a c...To editor:This study reports a pregnant woman who was naturally conceived with monochorionic triamniotic(MCTA)combined with twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP).An ultrasound revealed that one of the fetuses had a cardiac malformation,and a connection between the umbilical arteries was suspected.To reduce the acardiac fetus,radiofrequency ablation was performed at 17+3 weeks of pregnancy.At 36+4 weeks,two healthy infants were delivered via elective cesarean section.Postoperative examination revealed a direct connection between the umbilical arteries,with the placental perfusion acting as a direct pump.It is essential to identify the intrauterine status of the blood-supplying infant and vascular connections in order to achieve successful outcomes in pregnancies with complications,such as edema and heart failure.The studies involving human participants were reviewed and approved by Human Research Ethics Committee of Tianjin Central Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology.The patient provided her written informed consent to participate in this study.展开更多

文摘Live yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae) constitutes an effective additive for animal production;its probiotic effect may be related to the concentrate-to-forage ratio(CTFR).The objective of this study was to assess the effects of S.cerevisiae(SC) on fiber degradation and rumen microbial populations in steers fed diets with different levels of dietary concentrate.Ten Simmental × Local crossbred steers(450 ± 50 kg BW) were assigned to a control group or an SC group.Both groups were fed the same basal diet but the SC group received SC supplementation(8 × 10^9 cfu/h/d through the ruminal fistula)following a two-period crossover design.Each period consisted of four phases,each of which lasted 17 d:10 d for dietary adaptation,6 d for degradation study,and 1 d for rumen sample collection.From the 1^(st) to the 4^(th) phase,steers were fed in a stepwise fashion with increasing CTFRs,i.e.,30:70,50:50,70:30,and 90:10.The kinetics of dry matter and fiber degradation of alfalfa pellets were evaluated;the rumen microbial populations were detected using real-time PCR.The results revealed no significant(P〉 0.05) interactions between dietary CTFR and SC for most parameters.Dietary CTFR had a significant effect(P〈 0.01) on degradation characteristics of alfalfa pellets and the copies of rumen microorganism;the increasing concentrate level resulted in linear,quadratic or cubic variation trend for these parameters.SC supplementation significantly(P〈 0.05) affected dry matter(DM) and neutral detergent fiber(NDF)degradation rates(c_(DM),c_(NDF)) and NDF effective degradability(ED_(NDF)).Compared with the control group,there was an increasing trend of rumen fungi and protozoa in SC group(P 〈 0.1);copies of total bacteria in SC group were significantly higher(P〈 0.05).Additionally,percentage of Ruminobacter amylophilus was significantly lower(P〈 0.05)but percentage of Selenomonas ruminantium was significantly higher(P〈 0.05) in the SC group.In a word,dietary CTFR had a significant effect on degradation characteristics of forage and rumen microbial population.S.cerevisiae had positive effects on DM and NDF degradation rate or effective degradability of forage;S.cerevisiae increased rumen total bacteria,fungi,protozoa,and lactate-utilizing bacteria but reduced starch-degrading and lactate-producing bacteria.
文摘The global carbon market has developed rapidly with two significant trends of globalization and financialization.Deriving economic interest is a nation driven-force behind the international climate negotiation and carbon market.According to deeply analyzed relationships between the carbon market and the key subjects of the climate negotiation,this article reveals that promoting the development of the global carbon market is one of the core interests of developed nations.Based on the background of international carbon market development and domestic carbon market pilots,four suggestions to the key issues of China's carbon market are provided.The first is that the goal of China's carbon market should be in line with and contribute to the national objectives and policies addressing climate change.The second is that the Chinese carbon market should mainly target the emission reduction of production-sectors,and contribute to their upgradation and transformation.The third is mat the development of the nation-wide carbon market in China should first take the principle of unbalanced regional development into consideration.The fourth is that linking China's carbon market to the international market should keep steps in line with international opening-up of China's financing system.

文摘The pioneer study of simulating the wave field in media with irregular interface belongs to Aki and Lamer. Since that many numerical methods on the subject have been developed, such as pure numerical techniques, ray method and boundary method. The boundary method based on boundary integral equation is a semi-analytical method which is suitable to modeling wave field induced by irregular border. According to the property of the applied Green's function the boundary methods can be sorted into space domain boundary method and wavenumber domain boundary method. For both of them it is necessary to solve a large equation, which means much computation is needed. Thus, it is difficult for the boundary methods to be applied in simulating wave field with high frequency or in large range. To develop a new method with less computation is meaningful. For this purpose, localized boundary integral equation, i.e., discrete wavenumber method is proposed. It is rooted in the Bouchon-Campillo method, an important wavenumber domain boundary method. Firstly the force on interface is separated into two parts: one is on flat part and the other on irregular part of the interface. Then Fourier transform is applied to identify their relation, the unknown distributes only on irregular part. Consequently computation efficiency is dramatically improved. Importantly its accuracy is the same as that of Bouchon-Campillo.

文摘Cotton architecture is partly determined by shoot branching and flowering patterns.Gh BRC1 was previously identified by RNA-seq analysis of nulliplex-branching and normal-branching cotton.However,the roles of Gh BRC1 in cotton remain unclear.In the present study,investigations of nuclear localization and transcriptional activity indicated that Gh BRC1 has characteristics typical of transcription factors.Gene expression analysis showed that Gh BRC1 was highly expressed in axillary buds but displayed different expression patterns between the two branching types.Overexpression of Gh BRC1 in Arabidopsis significantly inhibited the number of branches and promoted flowering.In contrast,silencing Gh BRC1 in cotton significantly promoted seedling growth.Gh BRC1 was induced by multiple hormones,including strigolactones,which promoted seedling growth and seed germination of Arabidopsis plants overexpressing Gh BRC1.Consistent with these findings,RNA-seq analysis of virus-induced gene silencing treated cotton revealed that a large number of genes were differentially expressed between Gh BRC1-silenced and control plants,and these genes were significantly enriched in plant hormone signalling pathways.Together,our data indicates that Gh BRC1 regulates plant branching and flowering through multiple regulatory pathways,especially those regulating plant hormones,with functions partly differing from those of Arabidopsis BRC1.These results provide insights into the molecular mechanisms controlling plant architecture,which is important for breeding cotton with ideal plant architecture and high yield.

文摘Objective Ubiquitin conjugate enzyme E2O(UBE2O)is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that has been reported to be involved in tumorigenesis.This study investigated the role of UBE2O in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The expression of UBE2O was detected using qRT-PCR,Western blotting,and immunohistochemical staining.Cell proliferation and Transwell assays were used to detect proliferation,migration,and invasion of HCC cells,respectively.Bioinformatic analysis was performed to analyze the relationship between UBE2O and the clinical features,prognosis,and immune cell infiltration of HCC.Results UBE2O was significantly over-expressed in HCC tissues.High expression of UBE2O was associated with poor tumor grade and poor prognosis.Functional experiments showed that down-regulation of UBE2O inhibited HCC cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.Co-expression gene analysis and gene set enrichment analysis showed that UBE2O was associated with protein hydrolysis,cell cycle,and cancer-related pathways in HCC.The results of immune analysis revealed that the expression of UBE2O was positively correlated with the immune infiltration and expression of immune-related chemokines of HCC.Conclusions UBE2O is significantly correlated with the prognosis of HCC and may be a valuable prognostic biomarker for HCC.

文摘AIM: To investigate the roles of mucin histochemistry, cytokeratin 7/20 (CK7/20) immunoreactivity, clinical characteristics and endoscopy to distinguish short- segment Barrett's esophageal (SSBE) from cardiac intestinal metaplasia (CIM). METHODS: High iron diamine/Alcian blue (HID/AB) mucin-histochemical staining and immunohistochemical staining were used to classify intestinal metaplasia (IN) and to determine CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern in SSBE and CIM, respectively, and these results were compared with endoscopical diagnosis and the positive rate of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms and H pylori infection. Long-segment Barrett' s esophageal and IM of gastric antrum were designed as control. RESULTS: The prevalence of type III IM was significantly higher in SSBE than in CIM (63.33% vs 23.08%, P〈0.005). The CK7/20 immunoreactivity in SSBE showed mainly Barrett's pattern (76.66%), and the GERD symptoms in most cases which showed Barrett' s pattern were positive, whereas H pylori infection was negative. However, the CK7/20 immunoreactivity in CIM was gastric pattern preponderantly (61.54%), but there were 23.08% cases that showed Barrett's pattern. H pylori infection in all cases which showed gastric pattern was significantly higher than those which showed Barrett' s pattern (63.83% vs 19.30%, P〈0.005), whereas the GERD symptoms in gastric pattern were significantly lower than that in Barrett's pattern (21.28% vs 85.96%,P〈O.O05). CONCLUSION: Distinction of SSBE from CIM should not be based on a single method; however, the combination of clinical characteristics, histology, mucin histochemistry, CK7/20 immunoreactivity, and endoscopic biopsy should be applied. Type III IM, presence of GERD symptoms, and Barrett's CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern may support the diagnosis of SSBE, whereas non-type III IM, positive H pylori infection, and gastric CK7/20 immunoreactivity pattern may imply CIM.
文摘Purpose:Ocular trauma occurs disproportionately in children on an annual basis.However,because of this frequency,other diagnoses,.such as orbital neoplasms,.can easily be ignored.Methods:We report on a two-year-old boy who presented with a dark purple,irregularly shaped lesion on his lower left eyelid.The patient had suffered injuries twice to that area.Results:Axial computed tomography images demonstrated an ill-defined and inhomogeneous soft tissue mass in the lateral and posterior region of the left orbit,.with bony destruction and absorption of the adjacent orbital wall..Magnetic resonance imaging of the orbit showed a lesion involving the greater sphenoidal wing,the supraorbital wall,and the frontal area.Enlarged nuchal and inguinal lymph nodes were detected by sonographic examination.Histopathological examination of a surgical biopsy showed an accumulation of characteristic Langerhans cells.The diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis was confirmed by immunohistochemical examinations positive for CD1a and SP-100.Conclusion:Orbital Langerhans cell histiocytosis is rarely encountered in ophthalmic practice,.so the ophthalmologist needs to be familiar with its presentation and work-up,.and has to be aware of possible OLCH diagnosis when a child(or even an adult)presents with prolonged and persistent eyelid edema,.even with a history of ocular trauma.

文摘Due to the development of network technology,the number of users is increasing rapidly,and the demand for emerging multicast services is becoming more and more abundant,traffic data is increasing day by day,network nodes are becoming denser,network topology is becoming more complex,and operators’equipment operation and maintenance costs are increasing.Network functions virtualization multicast issues include building a traffic forwarding topology,deploying the required functions,and directing traffic.Combining the two is still a problem to be studied in depth at present,and this paper proposes a two-stage solution where the decisions of these two stages are interdependent.Specifically,this paper decouples multicast traffic forwarding and function delivery.The minimum spanning tree of traffic forwarding is constructed by Steiner tree,and the traffic forwarding is realized by Viterbi-algorithm.Use a general topology network to examine network cost and service performance.Simulation results show that this method can reduce overhead and delay and optimize user experience.

文摘Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy ofFuzi Lizhong Wan and trimebutine in the treatment of diarrhea irritab1e bowel syndrome.Methods:A tota1 of 90 patients with diarrhea irritable Dow1 syndrome were divided intocontro1 group(n=45)and treatment group(n=45)using the random.number table method.Patients in the control group were po administered withtrimebutine 0.2 g.three time daily for 4 weeks.Patients in the treatment group were po administered with Fuzi Lizhong Wan 9 g,three time daily for 4 weeks on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy and the TCM symptom scores were evaluated after treatment.The serological indicators in two groups were compared before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the clinica1 efficacy and the TCM symptom scores in treatment group were significantly 1ower than that in contro1 group(P<0.05).The 1evels of serological indicators in both groups improved significant1y,and those in the treatment group were better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combined therapy of Fuzi Lizhong Wan and trimebutine in the treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowe1 syndrome has a significant effect,which canrelieve clinical symptom;and reduce visceral sensitivity,and improve leve1s of inflammatory and quality of life.So it is suggested to be applied.
文摘Objective:To observe the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of sudden deafness.Methods:Ninety-six patients with sudden deafness diagnosed by the otolaryngology department were divided into 2 groups which comprised of 48 patients in the conventional treatment group and the other 48 patients in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group.Both groups were treated with methylcobalamin,vitamin B1,and ginkgo biloba extract.The patients in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy of 2.0 ATA once a day.Each course of treatment lasted 10 days and after two courses of treatment,the clinical efficacies of the two groups were compared.Results:After two courses of treatment,the effect of treatment in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group was significantly better than that of the conventional treatment group.Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can effectively improve the hearing level of patients with sudden deafness and the overall effective rate of treatment.

文摘Posttranslational modifications increase the complexity and functional diversity of proteins in response to complex external stimuli and internal changes.Among these,protein lipidations which refer to lipid attachment to proteins are prominent,which primarily encompassing five types including S-palmitoylation,N-myristoylation,S-prenylation,glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPl)anchor and cholesterylation.Lipid attachment to proteins plays an essential role in the regulation of protein trafficking,localisation,stability,conformation,interactions and signal transduction by enhancing hydrophobicity.Accumulating evidence from genetic,structural,and biomedical studies has consistently shown that protein lipidation is pivotal in the regulation of broad physiological functions and is inextricably linked to a variety of diseases.Decades of dedicated research have driven the development of a wide range of drugs targeting protein lipidation,and several agents have been developed and tested in preclinical and clinical studies,some of which,such as asciminib and lonafarnib are FDA-approved for therapeutic use,indicating that targeting protein lipidations represents a promising therapeutic strategy.Here,we comprehensively review the known regulatory enzymes and catalytic mechanisms of various protein lipidation types,outline the impact of protein lipidations on physiology and disease,and highlight potential therapeutic targets and clinical research progress,aiming to provide a comprehensive reference for future protein lipidation research.

文摘To editor:This study reports a pregnant woman who was naturally conceived with monochorionic triamniotic(MCTA)combined with twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP).An ultrasound revealed that one of the fetuses had a cardiac malformation,and a connection between the umbilical arteries was suspected.To reduce the acardiac fetus,radiofrequency ablation was performed at 17+3 weeks of pregnancy.At 36+4 weeks,two healthy infants were delivered via elective cesarean section.Postoperative examination revealed a direct connection between the umbilical arteries,with the placental perfusion acting as a direct pump.It is essential to identify the intrauterine status of the blood-supplying infant and vascular connections in order to achieve successful outcomes in pregnancies with complications,such as edema and heart failure.The studies involving human participants were reviewed and approved by Human Research Ethics Committee of Tianjin Central Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology.The patient provided her written informed consent to participate in this study.
