目的对腹膜透析患者远程培训的时机、内容、方式和应用效果进行范围综述,为今后的研究方向提供依据。方法以澳大利亚乔安娜布里格斯研究所2020版的范围综述指南为方法学框架,系统检索中国知网、万方数据库、维普数据库、PubMed、CINAHL...目的对腹膜透析患者远程培训的时机、内容、方式和应用效果进行范围综述,为今后的研究方向提供依据。方法以澳大利亚乔安娜布里格斯研究所2020版的范围综述指南为方法学框架,系统检索中国知网、万方数据库、维普数据库、PubMed、CINAHL、Cochrane Library、Web of Science、Embase和EBSCO,检索时限为建库至2023年7月31日。对纳入文献进行汇总和分析。结果最终纳入14篇文献,总结远程培训载体有电话、短信、互联网、自行开发的软件、微信;远程培训的内容包括居家腹膜透析操作、并发症管理、营养指导、药物管理、康复指导等;远程培训的形式包括个体化针对性培训,定期线上推送培训内容,线上答疑,线上案例共享和同伴教育等;远程培训对腹膜透析患者的预后有正向作用。结论联合应用多种载体实施远程培训可提高腹膜透析患者的培训效果,但载体的便利性和智能化有待进一步提高;腹膜透析患者远程培训内容和形式多样化,但缺乏特异性;腹膜透析患者远程培训的时机、持续时间和效果评价指标尚无定论,可根据患者需求灵活调整;腹膜透析患者远程培训的短期效果明确,但长期效果有待进一步探索。展开更多

METHODS: Effects of iron on oxidat...AIM: To investigate effects of iron on oxidative stress, heme oxygenase-1 (HMOX1) and hepatitis C viral (HCV) expression in human hepatoma ceils stably expressing HCV proteins. METHODS: Effects of iron on oxidative stress, HMOX1, and HCV expression were assessed in CON1 cells. Measurements included mRNA by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, and protein levels by Western blots. RESULTS: Iron, in the form of ferric nitrilotriacetate,increased oxidative stress and upegulated HMOX1 gene expression. Iron did not affect mRNA or protein levels of Bach1, a repressor of HMOXl. Silencing the up-regulation of HMOXl nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) by Nrf2-siRNA decreased FeNTA-mediated up-regulation of HMOXl mRNA levels. These iron effects were completely blocked by deferoxamine (DFO). Iron also significantly decreased levels of HCV core mRNA and protein by 80%-90%, nonstructural 5A mRNA by 90% and protein by about 50% in the Con1 full length HCV replicon cells, whereas DFO increased them. CONCLUSION: Excess iron up-regulates HMOXl and down-regulates HCV gene expression in hepatoma cells. This probably mitigates liver injury caused by combined iron overload and HCV infection.展开更多

Metbods Retrospective analysis was conducted in 7 cases of brain metast...Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of brain metastasis in patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma. Metbods Retrospective analysis was conducted in 7 cases of brain metastases of epithelial ovarian carcinoma from January 1986 to March 2007 in Peking Union Medical College Hospital for summarizing therapy results and prognosisaffecting factors. Results Incidence of brain metastases of epithelial ovarian carcinoma was about 0. 66% (7/1 055 ). Serous adenocarcinoma was the predominant pathological type in 4 cases and the subsequent was adenocarcinoma in 3 cases. All the patients were diagnosed at late stage, 6 cases with the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (HGO) stage Ⅲc and 1 with FIGO stage IV. The mean duration from diagnosis of ovarian carcinoma to brain metastasis was 32.7 ± 20. 0 months (range, 23-73 months). Single metastasis focus occurred in 43% of cases and multiple metastases in 57% of cases. Fifty-seven percent of patients presented extracranial metastasis. Serum CA125 played a role in monitoring reoccur- rence and brain metastases. The average survival time was about 12 months. Better treatment with prolonged survival could be achieved by combination of operation and chemotherapy or combination of radiotherapy with chemotherapy. Concltusions As a rare condition, brain metastasis of epithelial ovarian carcinoma is rising in incidence with improved treatment of ovarian carcinoma and prolonged survival. However, brain metastasis indicates bad prognosis which can be improved by combined therapy.展开更多

Instead of time-consuming laboratory incubation, we attempt to use pedo-transfer functions (PTFs) approach to get this information. 27 soil samples with various soil depths were collected from paddy field, woodland and tea field in subtropical central China, anaerobically incubated at 35°C for 7 weeks to determine N mineralization, which was fitted by a modified double exponential model with two parameters (the fraction of active N pool (f) and mineralization rate constant (k) for active N pool). The PTFs for parameters were developed from significant soil properties using multiple stepwise regression method. Parameter f (range: 1.59% - 10.4%, mean: 5.2%) was mainly correlated with soil total N (TN), organic C (SOC), sand and silt particle contents (r = -0.59 - 0.69, p k (range: 0.027 - 0.155 d-1, mean: 0.97 d-1) was significantly related to TN, SOC, clay content, C to N ratio and pH (r = -0.6 - 0.71, p f (R2 = 0.72, p TN and pH) for parameter k (R2 = 0.61, p < 0.01). The developed PTFs, integrating various land uses and soil depths, suggest that basic soil properties are helpful for estimation of anaerobic soil N mineralization.展开更多

Tothis end, we propose a generative model of landuse distribution that learns from geographic data.The model is based on a transformer architecturethat generates a 2D map of the land-use layout,which can be conditioned on spatial and semanticcontrols, depending on whether either one or bothare provided. This model enables diverse layoutgeneration with user control and layout expansion byextending borders with partial inputs. To generatehigh-quality and satisfactory layouts, we devise ageometric objective function that supervises the modelto perceive layout shapes and regularize generationsusing geometric priors. Additionally, we devise aplanning objective function that supervises the modelto perceive progressive composition demands andsuppress generations deviating from controls. Toevaluate the spatial distribution of the generations, wetrain an autoencoder to embed land-use layouts intovectors to enable comparison between the real andgenerated data using the Wasserstein metric, which isinspired by the Fr´echet inception distance.展开更多

Previous studies revealed that PED...Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV) is a highly infectious pathogen that can cause severe diseases in pigs and result in enormous economic losses in the worldwide swine industry. Previous studies revealed that PEDV exhibits an obvious capacity for modulating interferon(IFN) signaling or expression. The newly discovered type III IFN, which plays a crucial role in antiviral immunity, has strong antiviral activity against PEDV proliferation in IPEC-J2 cells. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of PEDV nucleocapsid(N) protein on type III IFN-λ. We found that the N proteins of ten PEDV strains isolated between 2013 and 2017 from different local farms shared high nucleotide identities, while the N protein of the CV777 vaccine strain formed a monophyletic branch in the phylogenetic tree. The N protein of the epidemic strain could antagonize type III IFN, but not type I or type II IFN expression induced by polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid(poly(I:C)) in IPEC-J2 cells. Subsequently, we demonstrated that the inhibition of poly(I:C)-induced IFN-λ3 production by PEDV N protein was dependent on the blocking of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB) nuclear translocation. These findings might help increase understanding of the pathogenesis of PEDV and its mechanisms for evading the host immune response.展开更多

Rsb R, an upstream regulator of the sigma B(Sig B) factor, is thought to sense environmental challenges and trigger the SigB pathway. In Bacillus subtilis, two phosphorylation sites in RsbR are involved in activating the SigB pathway and a feedback mechanism, respectively. In this study, the role of RsbR in L. monocytogenes under mild and severe stresses was investigated. Strains with genetic deletion(Δrsb R), complementation(C-Δrsb R), and phosphorylation site mutations in the rsbR(RsbR-T175 A, RsbR-T209 A, and RsbR-T175 A-T209 A) were constructed to evaluate the roles of these RsbR sequences in listerial growth and survival. SigB was examined at the transcriptional and translational levels. Deletion of rsb R reduced listerial growxth and survival in response to acidic stress. Substitution of the phosphorylation residue RsbR-T175 A disabled RsbR complementation, while RsbR-T209 A significantly upregulated SigB expression and listerial survival. Our results provide clear evidence that two phosphorylation sites of Rsb R are functional in L. monocytogenes under acidic conditions, similar to the situation in B. subtilis.展开更多

No effective drugs are available clinically on toxoplasmosis. Chinese traditional herbal medicines have provided remedies for many health problems. There exists a possibility that Chinese herbs may provide protection against T. gondii. This work aims to assess the protective efficacy of combined Chinese herbs against T. gondii. We screened five herbal medicines that have different pharmacological effects and combined them into a prescription according to the traditional Chinese medicine compatibility principle. The drug potential and protective efficacy were evaluated through a mouse model by determining the survival time, the parasite load in blood and tissues, the change of cell proportions in blood and histological detection. The results showed that the survival time of mice in the 500 mg Chinese herbs group and sulfadiazine group was significantly longer than that of the PBS control group. Also the parasite load in blood and tissues of 500 mg Chinese herbs and sulfadiazine groups was significantly lower than that of PBS group at 7 days post infection(dpi), which was in accordance with the result of histological detection. Monocyte and neutrophil of infected mice were remarkably increased while lymphocyte was dramatically decreased compared to that of blank group at 7 dpi. The results demonstrated that the 500 mg dosage of our Chinese herbs could slow down the replication of T. gondii and prolong the survival time of mice and could be considered as possible candidate drug against toxoplasmosis.展开更多
