Entanglement in macroscopic systems,as a fundamental quantum resource,has been utilized to propel the advancement of quantum technology and probe the boundary between the quantum and classical realms.This study focuses on a unique hybrid quantum system comprising of an ensemble of silicon vacancy(SiV)centers coupled to phononic waveguides in diamond via strain interactions.By employing two sets of time-dependent,non-overlapping driving fields,we investigate the generation process and dynamic properties of macroscopic quantum entanglement,providing fresh insights into the behavior of such hybrid quantum systems.Furthermore,it paves the way for new possibilities in utilizing quantum entanglement as an information carrier in quantum information processing and quantum communication. 展开更多

Delayed treatment of diabetic foot ulcer in patients with type 2 diabetes and its prediction model

BACKGROUND Diabetic foot(DF)is a serious complication of type 2 diabetes.This study aimed to investigate the factors associated with DF occurrence and the role of delayed medical care in a cohort of patients with type 2 diabetes.AIM To reveal the impact of delayed medical treatment on the development of DF in patients with type 2 diabetes and to establish a predictive model for DF.METHODS In this retrospective cohort study,292 patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent examination at our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the DF group(n=82,DF)and nondiabetic foot group(n=210,NDF).Differential and correlation analyses of demographic indicators,laboratory parameters,and delayed medical treatment were conducted for the two groups.Logistic regression was applied to determine influencing factors.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)analysis was performed,and indicators with good predictive value were selected to establish a combined predictive model.RESULTS The DF group had significantly higher body mass index(BMI)(P<0.001),disease duration(P=0.012),plasma glucose levels(P<0.001),and HbA1c(P<0.001)than the NDF group.The NDF group had significantly higher Acute Thrombosis and Myocardial Infarction Health Service System(ATMHSS)scores(P<0.001)and a significantly lower delayed medical treatment rate(72.38%vs 13.41%,P<0.001).BMI,duration of diabetes,plasma glucose levels,HbA1c,diabetic peripheral neuropathy,and nephropathy were all positively correlated with DF occurrence.ATMHSS scores were negatively correlated with delayed time to seek medical treatment.The logistic regression model revealed that BMI,duration of diabetes,plasma glucose levels,HbA1c,presence of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and nephropathy,ATMHSS scores,and delayed time to seek medical treatment were influencing factors for DF.ROC analysis indicated that plasma glucose levels,HbA1c,and delayed medical treatment had good predictive value with an area under the curve of 0.933 for the combined predictive model.CONCLUSION Delayed medical treatment significantly affects the probability of DF occurrence in patients with diabetes.Plasma glucose levels,HbA1c levels,and the combined predictive model of delayed medical treatment demonstrate good predictive value. 展开更多

目的了解重庆市农村40岁以上人群青光眼的患病率及流行病学特征,为青光眼防治工作提供科学依据。方法于2018年8—10月采取分层整群随机抽样的方法对重庆市荣昌区、綦江区等地区农村40岁以上人群进行青光眼调查,受检人群为在当地生活10... 目的了解重庆市农村40岁以上人群青光眼的患病率及流行病学特征,为青光眼防治工作提供科学依据。方法于2018年8—10月采取分层整群随机抽样的方法对重庆市荣昌区、綦江区等地区农村40岁以上人群进行青光眼调查,受检人群为在当地生活10年以上的农村人口。统计每位受检者性别、年龄等基本信息,常规测视力、眼压,裂隙灯显微镜检查眼前节,采用Van Herick法评估中央及周边前房深度,前置镜检查眼底,重点评估视盘杯盘比(C/D)值,对所有可疑青光眼者进行进一步青光眼标准检查。结果确定调查对象4680人,实际参与调查4073人,应答率为87%。最终确诊青光眼患者70例,青光眼患病率为1.72%(70/4073)。不同性别间原发性闭角型青光眼(PACG)和原发性开角型青光眼(POAG)的患病率比较差异均无统计学意义(χ^2=0.042,P=0.837;χ^2=2.838,P=0.092),70岁以上人群青光眼患病率为2.5%,明显高于其他年龄段。青光眼患者视力损伤的比例为68.57%(48/70),致盲比例为47.14%(33/70),不同类型青光眼低视力发生率比较差异无统计学意义(χ^2=2.785,P=0.248),致盲率比较差异有统计学意义(χ^2=10.668,P=0.005),继发性青光眼致盲率最高。现场筛查中,眼压、前房深度、C/D的检出率情况显示,C/D异常时青光眼检出率最高,3种检查方法检出率比较差异有统计学意义(χ^2=43.325,P<0.001)。综合考虑眼压和C/D因素时,青光眼检出率可提高至55.88%。结论重庆农村40岁以上人群青光眼患病率为1.72%,PACG患病率较以往下降,青光眼致视力损伤比例较高。现场筛查中,眼底视神经的形态学检查对青光眼确诊十分重要。 展开更多

They recapitulate cell-cell, cell-niche interactions in tissue development, homeostasis, regeneration anddisease, and provide an in vitro model for drug screening. This review summarizes the recent advances of organoidcultures derived from adult lung stem cells and human pluripotent stem cells, especially focusing on the organoidsof the distal airway stem/progenitor cells. We also discuss the applications of organoids in studying lungregeneration and pulmonary diseases, including pulmonary fibrosis, airway diseases and Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19). 展开更多
