When muscle weakness occurs, or after failure of more conservative treatments, anterior transposition is used. In the present study, the ulnar nerve and its blood vessels were examined in the elbows of 18 adult cadavers, and the external diameter of the nutrient vessels of the ulnar nerve at the point of origin, the distances between the origin of the vessels and the medial epicondyle of the humerus, and the length of the vessels accompanying the ulnar nerve in the superior ulnar collateral artery, the inferior ulnar collateral artery, and the posterior ulnar recurrent artery were measured. Anterior transposition of the vascularized ulnar nerve was per- formed to treat cubital tunnel syndrome. The most appropriate distance that the vascularized ulnar nerve can be moved to the subcutaneous tissue under tension-free conditions was 1.8 ± 0.6 cm (1.1-2.5 cm), which can be used as a reference value during the treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome with anterior transposition of the vascularized ulnar nerve.展开更多
Objective To realize AIDS related knowledge, attitude and behavior among floating people in China and discuss its influencial factors, and to provide the evidence for how to prevent AIDS in floating population. Method...Objective To realize AIDS related knowledge, attitude and behavior among floating people in China and discuss its influencial factors, and to provide the evidence for how to prevent AIDS in floating population. Methods The data were collected from the "Sex and Reproductive Health Baseline Survey among Floating People in China" conducted in March 2004. The standard questionnaires were used to interview altogether 4 900 floating people from 6 provinces. Results Nearly 95.4 % of them had heard about AIDS, but only 0.5% can judge all the transmitted ways and no-transmitted ways correctly, 45.9 % believed that we need to isolate the HIV positive people. Only 65.7% knew that using condom can preventive HIV infection, 43. 7% showed their understanding about the man who has long time no sexual life has sex with a sexual worker. About 13.6% floating people chose condom as FP method and among them only 34. 6% used condom every time. Conclusion Chinese floating people are lack of AIDS knowledge. Most of them do not practise Safe Sex Activity. We need to give more intervention to the floating population.展开更多
In the field of roads,due to the effect of vehicle loads,piezoelectric materials under the road surface can convert mechanical vibration into electrical energy,which can be further used in road facilities such as traf...In the field of roads,due to the effect of vehicle loads,piezoelectric materials under the road surface can convert mechanical vibration into electrical energy,which can be further used in road facilities such as traffic signals and street lamps.The barium titanate/polyvinylidene fluoride(BaTiO_(3)/PVDF)composite,the most common hybrid ceramic-polymer system,was widely used in various fields because the composite combines the good dielectric property of ceramic materials with the good flexibility of PVDF material.Previous studies have found that conductive particles can further improve the dielectric and piezoelectric properties of other composites.However,few studies have investigated the effect of conductive carbon black on the dielectric and piezoelectric properties of BaTiO_(3)/PVDF composites.In this study,BaTiO_(3)/PVDF/conductive carbon black composites were prepared with various conductive carbon black contents based on the optimum ratio of BaTiO_(3)to PVDF.The effects of conductive carbon black content on the morphologies,thermal performance,conductivities,dielectric properties,and piezoelectric properties of the BaTiO_(3)/PVDF/conductive carbon black composites were then investigated.The addition of conductive carbon black greatly enhances the conductivities,dielectric properties,and piezoelectric properties of the BaTiO_(3)/PVDF/conductive carbon black composites,especially when the carbon black content is 0.8%by weight of PVDF.Additionally,the conductive carbon black does not have an obvious effect on the morphologies and thermal stabilities of BaTiO_(3)/PVDF/conductive carbon black composites.展开更多

The results showed that thousand kernel weights of seeds from different strawberry varieties had significant difference, and the sequence was Benihoppe=Akihime>Qianmei>Tuscany. Gibberellin treatment could improve germination rate of strawberry seed, and the optimal gibberellin concentrations for Benihoppe, Tuscany, Qianmei and Akihime were 5, 5, 5 and 10 mol/L. Gibberellin treatment could improve germination potential of Tuscany and Qianmei, and germination potential rose with gibberellin concentration increased within certain range, while ultrasonic treatment obviously inhibited germination of strawberry seed.展开更多
By combining cryo-rolling and post-annealing treatments,the nanostructured NiTi alloy is produced.A diff erential scanning calorimetry measurement was used to test the eff ect of the preparation process on phase trans...By combining cryo-rolling and post-annealing treatments,the nanostructured NiTi alloy is produced.A diff erential scanning calorimetry measurement was used to test the eff ect of the preparation process on phase transformation.The cryo-rolling changes the tensile fracture of NiTi alloy to a ductile manner.Interestingly,the recovered structure exhibits signifi cant strength improvement,while the tensile plasticity is still comparable to that of the coarse-grained structure.This optimized mechanical performance is due to the strengthening eff ect of refi ned microstructure and the high work hardening capability rendered by moderate dislocation density.Ball-on-plate reciprocating dry-sliding wear test reveals that the nanostructured NiTi alloy also has enhanced wear resistance,which is primarily ascribed to the high content of residue martensite formed during cryo-rolling.These results provide an eff ective route to optimize the mechanical and wear properties of NiTi alloys.展开更多
This study aims to analyze the impact of health education effort that promote exercise activities have had on middle-aged and older people in central-western rural China.The Project for Family Health Care(PFHC)of the ...This study aims to analyze the impact of health education effort that promote exercise activities have had on middle-aged and older people in central-western rural China.The Project for Family Health Care(PFHC)of the population in central and western China used questionnaires completed anonymously to survey 4217 randomly selected respondents in the baseline year of 2011,and 4529 in the end-line year of 2015.We used bivariate and multivariate analyses to examine the associations between several factors and regular exercise activities.The 2011 baseline year sample indicated that 90.5%of respondents knew the functions of regular exercise,but that only 45.4%participated in regular exercise activities.In the baseline multivariate model,a number of factors were positively associated with the prevalence of participation in regular exercise activities.Respondents who were women,older,retired,lived with children,had chronic diseases,and self-reported better health were more likely to participate in regular exercise.The proportion of those participating in regular exercise increased to 75.9%among the end-line year respondents after health education.This study revealed that health education interventions effectively encouraged rural middle-aged and elderly people to participate in regular exercise activities.Health education efforts of this sort for rural middle-aged and older adults should be further strengthened,and more public facilities for exercise should be provided.展开更多
