There is growing evidence that long-term central nervous system(CNS)inflammation exacerbates secondary deterioration of brain structures and functions and is one of the major determinants of disease outcome and progression. In acute CNS injury, brain microglia are among the first cells to respond and play a critical role in neural repair and regeneration. However, microglial activation can also impede CNS repair and amplify tissue damage, and phenotypic transformation may be responsible for this dual role.Mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)-derived exosomes(Exos)are promising therapeutic agents for the treatment of acute CNS injuries due to their immunomodulatory and regenerative properties.MSC-Exos are nanoscale membrane vesicles that are actively released by cells and are used clinically as circulating biomarkers for disease diagnosis and prognosis.MSC-Exos can be neuroprotective in several acute CNS models, including for stroke and traumatic brain injury, showing great clinical potential. This review summarized the classification of acute CNS injury disorders and discussed the prominent role of microglial activation in acute CNS inflammation and the specific role of MSC-Exos in regulating pro-inflammatory microglia in neuroinflammatory repair following acute CNS injury. Finally, this review explored the potential mechanisms and factors associated with MSCExos in modulating the phenotypic balance of microglia, focusing on the interplay between CNS inflammation, the brain, and injury aspects, with an emphasis on potential strategies and therapeutic interventions for improving functional recovery from early CNS inflammation caused by acute CNS injury. 展开更多

To reduce the risk of mission failure caused by the MM/OD impact of the spacecraft,it is necessary to optimize the design of the spacecraft.Spacecraft survivability assessment is the key technology in the optimal design of spacecraft.Spacecraft survivability assessment includes spacecraft impact sensitivity analysis and spacecraft component vulnerability analysis under MM/OD environment. The impact sensitivity refers to the probability of a spacecraft encountering an MM/OD impact while in orbit.Vulnerability refers to the probability that each component of a spacecraft may fail or malfunction when impacted by space debris.Yet this paper mainly analyzes the impact sensitivity and proposes a spacecraft sensitivity assessment method under the MM/OD environment based on a panel method.Under this panel method,a spacecraft geometric model is discretized into small panels, and whether they are impacted by MM/OD or not is determined through the analysis of the shielding or shadowing relationships between panels. The number of impacts on each panel is obtained through calculation, and accordingly the probability of each spacecraft component encountering MM/OD impact can be acquired, thus generating the impact sensibility. This paper extracts data from the NASA’s ORDEM2000,the ESA’s MASTER8 as well as the SDEEM2015(Space Debris Environmental Engineering Model developed by HIT),and uses the PCHIP(Piecewise Cubic Hermite Interpolating Polynomial)method to interpolate and fit the size-flux relationship of space debris.Compared with linear interpolation and cubic spline interpolation, the fitting results through the method are relatively more accurate. The feasibility of this method is also demonstrated through two actual examples shown in this paper, whose results are close to those from ESABASE,although there are some minor errors mainly due to different debris data input.Through the cross-check by three risk assessment software-BUMPER,MDPANTO and MODAOST-under standard operating conditions, the feasibility of this method is again verified. 展开更多

A graphically oriented interactive program for assignments of rotationally resolved molecular spectra has been devised. The program functions by grouping spectral lines in term of the second difference principle. and graphing spectral intensity versus frequency in a bar graph of the selected groups, distinguished by color and/or line-type. This allows for easy detection of regular patterns buried in the observed spectrum. Furthermore, it includes a Loomis-Wood view for assisting in spectral assignments. As an example, the program was applied in assigning the molecular spectrum of the production in the discharge of PCl3 buffered by helium gas, which may belong to several species. The results suggest that the program is highly efficient and quite useful in the assignment and the analysis of molecular spectra, especially those of symmetric top, slightly asymmetric top and linear molecules. The accuracy and efficiency of this program will likely ensure its wide application in the processing of molecular spectra. 展开更多

Large wood in rivers can lead to accumulations in the river channel, affecting local flow structures, aquatic habitats, and the river’s topography. This plays a crucial role in the ecological restoration of the river. This paper presents flow field measurements downstream of six types of logjams at different flow velocities using acoustic Doppler velocimetry (ADV) for artificially designed engineered logjams. The results indicate that the presence of logjams reduces the flow velocity and increases the turbulent kinetic energy in the wake region, and as the distance downstream increases, the flow velocity and turbulence intensity in the wake region gradually return to the upstream level. The minimum values of normalized flow velocity under different conditions are located in the region of the bottommost logs. The differences in normalized flow velocity at various flow rates are not significant. Jets are less likely to be generated in logjams with larger and more concentrated projection areas, but the strength of the jet is influenced by the physical structure of the logjam (projection area, gap ratio). The flow distribution behind the logjam is primarily influenced by the proportion of the projected area in different regions. Changes in the vertical physical structure of the logjam have minimal effect on the lateral flow distribution. Flow velocity in the gap area (b0) at the bottom of different logjams is influenced by their physical structure. The larger the overall blockage area of the logjams, the larger the flow velocity in the bottom gap area will be. The flow velocity in the bottom gap area of a densely placed logjam is mainly influenced by the gap ratio. The velocity of flow in the gap area can impact the initiation and deposition of sediment near the logjam. However, the internal structure complexity of the logjam does not significantly affect river energy dissipation and flow attenuation. This study broadens the applicability of certain theoretical models and explores the impact of logjams on river ecology and channel geomorphology. The findings can serve as a theoretical foundation for ecological restoration, timber management, and logjam construction in rivers. 展开更多
