BACKGROUND Epilepsy is a nervous system disease characterized by recurrent attacks,a long disease course,and an unfavorable prognosis.It is associated with an enduring therapeutic process,and finding a cure has been difficult.Patients with epilepsy are predisposed to adverse moods,such as resistance,anxiety,nervousness,and anxiety,which compromise treatment compliance and overall efficacy.AIM To explored the influence of intensive psychological intervention on treatment compliance,psychological status,and quality of life(QOL)of patients with epilepsy.METHODS The clinical data of 105 patients with epilepsy admitted between December 2019 and July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,including those of 50 patients who underwent routine intervention(control group)and 55 who underwent intensive psychological intervention(research group).Treatment compliance,psychological status based on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Depression Scale Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores,hope level assessed using the Herth Hope Scale(HHS),psychological resilience evaluated using the Psychological Resilience Scale,and QOL determined using the QOL in Epilepsy-31 Inventory(QOLIE-31)were comparatively analyzed.RESULTS Treatment compliance in the research group was 85.5%,which is significantly better than the 68.0%of the control group.No notable intergroup differences in preinterventional SAS and SDS scores were identified(P>0.05);however,after the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores decreased significantly in the two groups,especially in the research group(P<0.05).The two groups also exhibited no significant differences in preinterventional HHS,Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),and QOLIE-31 scores(P>0.05).After 6 months of intervention,the research group showed evidently higher HHS,CD-RISC,tenacity,optimism,strength,and QOLIE-31 scores(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Intensive psychological intervention enhances treatment compliance,psychological status,and QOL of patients with epilepsy. 展开更多

目的观察有无消化道症状糖尿病(diabetes mellitus,DM)患者近端胃功能特点;了解有或无消化道症状的DM患者血糖控制情况;研究血糖对DM患者近端胃功能的互相影响.方法 54例DM患者,男性24人,女性30人,平均年龄61.3岁±11.9岁,所有受试... 目的观察有无消化道症状糖尿病(diabetes mellitus,DM)患者近端胃功能特点;了解有或无消化道症状的DM患者血糖控制情况;研究血糖对DM患者近端胃功能的互相影响.方法 54例DM患者,男性24人,女性30人,平均年龄61.3岁±11.9岁,所有受试者均除外胃肠道器质性疾病,根据DM上消化道症状的有无将之分为二组:无消化道症状DM组(n=26)及有胃肠症状DM组(n=28),受试者行饮水试验,并用B超分别测量两次饮水后近端胃及远端胃的周长与面积;同一天测空腹、餐后血糖及糖化血红蛋白.结果 (1)有胃肠症状组饮水差值、胃底面积差值、胃底周长差值显著低于无症状组,其饱感阈值饮水量、最大耐受饮水量显著低于无症状组;(2)有胃肠症状组空腹血糖及糖化血红蛋白明显高于无症状组组;(3)有症状组饱感阈值与空腹血糖、餐后血糖及GHb均成负相关;最大耐受饮水量与餐后血糖及GHb值成负相关.结论 DM患者存在近端胃功能损害;有上消化道症状DM患者血糖控制情况差于无症状组;血糖控制不良可能影响患者近端胃功能. 展开更多

Expression of three essential antioxidants of Helicobacter pylori in clinical isolates 被引量:2

Objective: Helicobacterpylori maintains long-term persistence in the host and combats oxidative stress via many antioxidant proteins, which are expected to be relevant to bacterial-associated gastric diseases. We aimed to investigate the expression of three essential antioxidants in H. pylori strains isolated from patients with different clinical outcomes. Methods: Forty H. py/ori strains were isolated from endoscopic biopsy specimens of gastric mucosa from 13 patients with gastric cancer, 13 with peptic ulcer, and 14 with gastritis. The expression of thioredoxin 1 (Trx1), arginase (RocF), and alkyl hydroperoxide reductase (AhpC) in H. py/ori was measured by real-time PCR. Comparisons among multiple sample sets were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA test. Pearson's correlation test was used to assess relationships among multiple continuous variables. Results: Trx1 expression of H. pylon in gastric cancer and peptic ulcer tissues was higher than that in tissues with gastritis. RocF expression of H. py/ori in gastric cancer tissues was higher than that in tissues exhibiting peptic ulcer and gastritis. However, we did not find any differences in AhpC expression in samples from patients with different clinical outcomes. The expression of Trx1 and RocF had a positive, linear correlation. The expression of Trx1 and AhpC had a positive correlation without a linear trend. We found no correlation between the expression of RocF and AhpC. Conclusions: Our observations indicate that the expression of Trx1 and RocF in H. py/ori might be related to gastric carcinogenesis. In hi. pylori, the expression of members of the antioxidant system may be correlated and relevant to gastric cancer. 展开更多

The aim of this study was to investigate the chemical compositions of chalk dust and examine the adverse effects of fine chalk particle matters(PM(2.5)) on rat alveolar macrophages(AMs) in vitro.Morphologies and element concentrations of chalk particles were analyzed using quantitative energydispersive electron probe X-ray microanalysis(ED-EPMA).The oxidative response of AMs exposed to chalk PM(2.5) was measured by luminol-dependent chemiluminescence(CL).The results showed that(1)Chalk dust was mainly composed of gypsum(CaSO4),calcite(CaCO3)/dolomite(CaMg(CO3)2),and organic adhesives;(2) Fine chalk particles induced the AM production of CL,which was inhibited by about 90%by diphenyleneiodonium chloride(DPI).Based on these results,we showed that cytotoxicity of chalk PM(2.5) may be related to the reactive oxygen species(ROS) generation. 展开更多
