The solubility of H_(2)S was measured in solutions of N-butyl-N-methylmorpholine acetate([Bmmorp][Ac])containing 20%-40%(mass)water at experimental temperatures ranged from 298.15 to 328.15 K and pressures up to 320 k Pa.The total solubility of H_(2)S increased with higher temperatures,lower pressures,and reduced water content.The reaction equilibrium thermodynamic model was used to correlate the solubility data.The results indicate that the chemical reaction equilibrium constant decrease with increasing water content and temperature,whereas Henry constant increase with increasing water content and temperature.Compared with other ionic liquids,H_(2)S exhibits a higher physical absorption enthalpy and a lower chemical absorption enthalpy in[Bmmorp][Ac]aqueous solution.This suggests that[Bmmorp][Ac]has a strong physical affinity for H_(2)S and low energy requirement for desorption.Quantum chemical methods were used to investigate the molecular mechanism of H_(2)S absorption in ionic liquids.The interaction energy analysis revealed that the binding of H_(2)S with the ionic liquid in a1:2 ratio is more stable.Detailed analyses by the methods of the interaction region indicator and the atoms in molecules were conducted to the interactions between H_(2)S and the ionic liquid. 展开更多

Hydrogen production through hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)offers a promising solution to combat climate change by replacing fossil fuels with clean energy sources.However,the widespread adoption of efficient electrocatalysts,such as platinum(Pt),has been hindered by their high cost.In this study,we developed an easy-to-implement method to create ultrathin Pt nanomembranes,which catalyze HER at a cost significantly lower than commercial Pt/C and comparable to non-noble metal electrocatalysts.These Pt nanomembranes consist of highly distorted Pt nanocrystals and exhibit a heterogeneous elastic strain field,a characteristic rarely seen in conventional crystals.This unique feature results in significantly higher electrocatalytic efficiency than various forms of Pt electrocatalysts,including Pt/C,Pt foils,and numerous Pt singleatom or single-cluster catalysts.Our research offers a promising approach to develop highly efficient and cost-effective low-dimensional electrocatalysts for sustainable hydrogen production,potentially addressing the challenges posed by the climate crisis. 展开更多

[Objectives]To investigate the acute toxicity and hepatoprotective effect of Jinchuan formula plum wine extract on mice,determine its safety range,and evaluate its hepatoprotective effect.[Methods]The median lethal dose(LD_(50))was determined by acute toxicity test with the toxic reaction and mortality of mice as indexes.Sixty Kunming mice were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal control group,model group(ConA-induced liver injury model),Jinchuan formula plum wine high,medium and low dose groups(1.0,0.5,0.25 g/kg)and silybin group(0.1 g/kg).The levels of ALT,AST,LDH in serum and TG,VLDL in liver were measured.After HE staining,the pathological changes of liver tissue in mice were observed,and the liver protective effect of Jinchuan formula plum wine extract was analyzed and evaluated.[Results]LD_(50)was 11.18 g/kg,and the 95%confidence limit of LD_(50)was 10.31-12.05 g/kg.The high-dose group of Jinchuan formula plum wine extract could significantly reduce the serum ALT and AST activities of ConA-induced liver injury mice(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Jinchuan formula plum wine extract is relatively safe,and also has a protective effect on liver injury. 展开更多

Due to the harsh actual operating environment of the permanent magnet wind turbine,it is easy to break down and difficult to monitor.Therefore,the electromagnetic characteristics identification of major fault types of large-scale permanent magnet wind turbines is studied in this paper.The typical faults of rotor eccentricity,stator winding short circuit and permanent magnet demagnetization of permanent magnet wind turbines are analyzed theoretically.The wavelet analysis algorithm is used to decompose and reconstruct the abnormal electromagnetic signal waveform band,and the characteristic frequency of the electromagnetic signal is obtained when the fault occurs.In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a 3.680MW permanent magnet wind turbine was taken as the research object.Its physical simulation model was established,and an external circuit was built to carry out field co-simulation.The results show that the motor fault type can be determined by detecting the change rule of fault characteristic frequency in the spectrum diagram,and the electromagnetic characteristic analysis can be applied to the early monitoring of the permanent magnet wind turbine fault. 展开更多

[Results]The optimal determination conditions of total polyphenols content: sample dose of 1. 0 m L,Folin-Ciocalteu reagent of 1 m L,4% Na_2CO_3 solution of 4. 0 m L,reaction temperature of 50 ℃,reaction time of 1. 5 h,and determination wavelength of 756 nm. Absorbance showed good linear relationship with total polyphenols content within the range of 17. 73-59. 12 μg/m L( y = 14. 878 x + 0. 0739,R^2= 0. 9998). Recovery rate of adding standard sample was between 98. 8% and 103. 5%,and relative standard deviation was 2. 0%( n = 5). The density and viscosity of ferric chloride/trioctylmethylammonium chloride ionic liquid(rFeCl_(3)/[A336]Cl)with different molar ratios(r=0.1-0.8)of FeCl_(3) to[A336]Cl were measured at temperatures from 313.15 to 358.15 K and atmospheric pressure.The density and viscosity data were fitted by the relevant temperature variation equations,respectively.The variation of density and viscosity with temperature and r was obtained.The solubility of rFeCl_(3)/[A336]Cl to H_2S was measured at temperatures from 318.15 to 348.15 K and pressures from 0 to 150 kPa.The effects of temperature,pressure,and r on the solubility of H_(2)S were discussed.The reaction equilibrium thermodynamic model(RETM)was used to fit the H_(2)S solubility data,and the average relative error was less than 1.3%,indicating that the model can relate the solubility data well.And Henry's constant and chemical reaction equilibrium constant were obtained by the RETM fitting.The relationships of Henry's constant and chemical reaction equilibrium constant with temperature and r were analyzed. 展开更多

Background:Wear particles-induced osteolysis is a major long-term complication after total joint arthroplasty.Up to now,there is no effective treatment for wear particles-induced osteolysis except for the revision surgery,which is a heavy psychological and economic burden to patients.A metabolite of gut microbiota,short chain fatty acids(SCFAs),has been reported to be beneficial for many chronic inflammatory diseases.This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effect of SCFAs on osteolysis.Methods:A model of inflammatory osteolysis was established by applying CoCrMo alloy particles to mouse calvarium.After two weeks of intervention,the anti-inflammatory effects of SCFAs on wear particle-induced osteolysis were evaluated by micro-CT analysis and immunohistochemistry staining.In vitro study,lipopolysaccharide(LPS)primed bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs)and Tohoku hospital pediatrics-1(THP-1)macrophages were stimulated with CoCrMo particles to activate inflammasome in the presence of acetate(C2),propionate(C3),and butyrate(C4).Western blotting,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and immunofluorescence were used to detect the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome.The effects of SCFAs on osteoclasts were evaluate by qRT-PCR,Western blotting,immunofluorescence,and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRAP)staining.Additionally,histone deacetylase(HDAC)inhibitors,agonists of GPR41,GPR43,and GPR109A were applied to confirm the underlying mechanism of SCFAs on the inflammasome activation of macrophages and osteoclastogenesis.Results:C3 and C4 but not C2 could alleviate wear particles-induced osteolysis with fewer bone erosion pits(P<0.001),higher level of bone volume to tissue volume(BV/TV,P<0.001),bone mineral density(BMD,P<0.001),and a lower total porosity(P<0.001).C3 and C4 prevented CoCrMo alloy particles-induced ASC speck formation and nucleationinduced oligomerization,suppressing the cleavage of caspase-1(P<0.05)and IL-1β(P<0.05)stimulated by CoCrMo alloy particles.C3 and C4 also inhibited the generation of gasdermin D-N-terminal fragment(GSDMD-NT)to regulate pyroptosis.Besides,C3 and C4 have a negative impact on osteoclast differentiation(P<0.05)and its function(P<0.05),affecting the podosome arrangement and morphologically normal podosome belts formation.Conclusions:Our work showed that C3 and C4 are qualified candidates for the treatment of wear particle-induced osteolysis. 展开更多

When subjected to shear loading condition,a steel rock bolt will become bent in the field close to the loading point in situ.The bolt is deformed as the joint displacement increases,which can mobilize a normal load and a shear load on the bolt accordingly.In this work,the relationship analysis between the displacing angle and loading angle is carried out.By considering elastic andplastic states of rock bolt during shearing,the rotation of bolt extremity can be calculated analytically.Thus,the loading angle isobtained from displacing angle.The verification of analytical results and laboratory results from reference research implies that theanalytical method is correct and working.In terms of in-situ condition,the direction of the load acting on steel bolt can be predictedwell according to the direction of the deformed rock bolt with respect to original bolt axis. 展开更多

Aiming at reducing the difficulty of cooling the interior of high-density motors,this study proposed the placement of a water cold plate cooling structure between the axial laminations of the motor stator.The effect of the cooling water flow,thickness of the plate,and motor loss density on the cooling effect of the water cold plate were studied.To compare the cooling performance of water cold plate and outer spiral water jacket cooling structures,a high-speed permanent magnet motor with a high loss density was used to establish two motor models with the two cooling structures.Consequently,the cooling effects of the two models were analyzed using the finite element method under the same loss density,coolant flow,and main dimensions.The results were as follows.(1)The maximum and average temperatures of the water cold plate structure were reduced by 25.5%and 30.5%,respectively,compared to that of the outer spiral water jacket motor;(2)Compared with the outer spiral water jacket structure,the water cold plate structure can reduce the overall mass and volume of the motor.Considering a 100 kW high-speed permanent magnet motor as an example,a water cold plate cooling system was designed,and the temperature distribution is analyzed,with the result indicating that the cooling structure satisfied the cooling requirements of the high loss density motor. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study aimed at providing gist for selecting qualified transport containers by comparing the performance of common SPF mouse transport containers at home and abroad,and laying a foundation for subsequent improvement of transport containers.[Methods]In this study,5 different transport containers were selected,and their microbial filtration performance,ventilation,sterilization method and flux,and other related design and construction were analyzed.[Results]The results showed all 5 SPF mouse transport containers can provide enough air for the survival of mouse and protect them from bacterial infections.Transport container B and D are superior to others on one-time sterilization flux and deformation degree after autoclaving.Furthermore,taking into account the related design and construction of these transport containers,such as viewing window and carrying handle,the result of comprehensive comparison is that the transport container D>A>E>C>B.[Conclusions]In summary,the 5 SPF transport containers tested in this study can all satisfy the basic demand of SPF mouse transportation,but each transport container has its own advantages and disadvantages on storage space,deformation degree after autoclaving and other aspects.Thus,SPF mouse transport containers should be selected by different demand. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to select suitable mouse beddings from commercial corncob bedding(A-E)produced by five different manufacturers.[Methods]The physical properties and microbial indexes of the five kinds of corncob bedding were studied by means of visual inspection,dust content determination,moisture content determination,water absorption tests and microbial detection.[Results]In visual inspection,corncob bedding A was better than other four kinds.During dust content determination,corncob bedding D was higher than other 4 kinds(1.83%±0.2983%,P<0.05).In terms of moisture content,the moisture contents of the five kinds of corncob bedding were less than or equal to 10%.In the water absorption test,the water absorption capacities of the five kinds of bedding before autoclaving were all greater than 150%,and the water absorption of corncob bedding D after autoclaving was better than other four kinds(171.0±5.3,P<0.05).During microbial detection,the total number of colonies of corncob bedding B before autoclaving was higher than those of other four types(1.42×10^(5)±4.3×10^(4),P<0.05).The five kinds of commercial corncob bedding have different physical parameters and microbial conditions,and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.When purchasing and selecting corncob bedding,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the needs of daily feeding work,and choose bedding according to the effects on the health and welfare of experimental animals.[Conclusions]This study provides a reference for selecting suitable corncob bedding for mouse. 展开更多

Ecological studies suggested a link between air pollution and severe COVID-19 outcomes,while studies accounting for individual-level characteristics are limited.In the present study,we aimed to investigate the impact of short-term ambient air pollution exposure on disease severity among a cohort of 569 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 patients admitted to designated hospitals in Zhejiang province,China,from January 17 to March 3,2020,and elucidate the possible biological processes involved using transcriptomics.Compared with mild cases,severe cases had higher proportion of medical conditions as well as unfavorable results in most of the laboratory tests,and manifested higher air pollution exposure levels.Higher exposure to air pollutants was associated with increased risk of severe COVID-19 with odds ratio(OR)of 1.89(95%confidence interval(CI):1.01,3.53),2.35(95%CI:1.20,4.61),2.87(95%CI:1.68,4.91),and 2.01(95%CI:1.10,3.69)for PM_(2.5),PM_(10),NO_(2)and CO,respectively.OR for NO_(2)remained significant in two-pollutant models after adjusting for other pollutants.Transcriptional analysis showed 884 differentially expressed genes which mainly were enriched in virus clearance related biological processes between patients with high and low NO_(2)exposure levels,indicating that compromised immune response might be a potential underlying mechanistic pathway.These findings highlight the impact of shortterm air pollution exposure,particularly for NO_(2),on COVID-19 severity,and emphasize the significance in mitigating the COVID-19 burden of commitments to improve air quality. 展开更多

In order to accurately assess the risk of the hybrid AC/DC network under fault,a risk assessment method for the hybrid AC/DC system based on the transient energy function is proposed.First,based on the energy transfer relationship of the hybrid AC/DC power system,the transient energy function model of the hybrid AC/DC system is established.Based on the operating data of the power grid,the energy function is used as an efficiency variable,and the efficiency variable is integrated into the prior risk probability calculation of nodes in the network,and a Bayesian network-based risk assessment model of hybrid AC/DC system is established.Considering the dynamic update model of network cascading failures,the clique tree propagation algorithm is used to dynamically calculate the posterior risk probability of the node to realize the dynamic assessment of the network risk.Finally,the improved IEEE-39 node hybrid AC/DC system is used as an example for analysis.The results show that the proposed model can not only effectively evaluate the overall safety of the network,but also has feasibility in predicting faults,which can provide a theoretical basis for the stability control of the hybrid AC/DC system. 展开更多

Based on decreasing the flexibility of the power grid through the integration of large-scale renewable energy,a multi-energy storage system architectural model and its coor-dination operational strategy with the same flexibility as in the pumped storage power station and battery energy storage system(BESS)are studied.According to the new energy fluctuation characteristics and the different peak valley parameters in the power grid,this paper proposes a electricity heat hydrogen multi-energy storage system(EHH-MESS)and its coordination and optimization operational model to reduce the curtailment of wind power and photovoltaic(PV)to the power grid and improve the flexibility of the power grid.Finally,this paper studied the simulation model of an energy storage optimization control strategy after the multi-energy storage system is connected to the distribution networks,and analyzed three operational modes of the multi-energy storage system.The simulation results show that the EHH-MESS proposed in this paper has a better power grid regulation flexibility and economy,and can be used to replace the battery energy storage system based on MATLAB. 展开更多

In view of the problem of low self-service capability of the microgrid due to the high operating cost and low capacity of the traditional battery energy storage system.In this paper,an electrothermal hybrid energy storage model based on electricity,hydrogen and thermal energy conversion and storage is introduced,and a microgrid autonomous operational strategy is proposed.First,the addition of the power to hydrogen transfer equipment in the traditional combined heat and power(TCHP)system without battery energy storage is studied,and a micro gas turbine,electric to hydrogen transfer equipment and electric boiler based electrothermal energy storage system(ETSS)model is established.Aiming at the lowest comprehen-sive operating cost of multiple energy sources in a microgrid and maximizing the consumption of curtailed wind,the multi-objective scheduling model of an electrothermal hybrid energy storage system is established,then the multi-energy autonomous operational strategy of a microgrid is proposed.Lastly,the simulation of a multi-energy microgrid in Northeast China is taken as an example.The results of the simulation showed that compared with a combined heat and power microgrid system considering conventiona battery energy storage,a multi-energy microgrid system using electrothermal hybrid energy storage has better flexibility and economy,and can improve wind power accommodation. 展开更多
