With the depletion of shallow resources,the exploration of deep earth resources has become a global strategy.The study of the different patterns in the physical mechanical properties of rocks at different occurrence depths is the basis for exploring deep into the earth,with the core and premise being the acquisition and testing of deep in-situ core specimens.Based on the original idea of deep in-situ condition preserved coring(ICP-Coring)and testing,combined with theoretical modeling,numerical analysis,test platform development,indoor testing and engineering application,the principles and technologies of deep ICP-Coring are developed.This principle and technology consists of five parts:in-situ pressurepreserved coring(IPP-Coring),in-situ substance-preserved coring(ISP-Coring),in-situ temperaturepreserved coring(ITP-Coring),in-situ light-preserved coring(ILP-Coring),and in-situ moisturepreserved coring(IMP-Coring).The theory and technology of temperature and pressure reconstruction at different occurrence depths and in different environments are proposed,and prototype trial production was completed by following the principle of displacement and tests based on the in-situ reconstructed environment.The notable advances are as follows:(1)Deep in-situ coring system:A pressure-preserved controller with an ultimate bearing capacity greater than 140 MPa,highperformance(temperature-resistant,pressure-resistant,and low thermally conductive)temperaturepreserved materials,an active temperature control system,and high-barrier quality-preserved membrane materials were developed;a deep ICP-Coring capacity calibration platform was independently developed,a deep in-situ coring technology system was developed,and the acquisition of deep in-situ cores was realized.(2)In-situ storage displacement system:Following the dual-circuit hydraulic design idea,a single-drive source push-pull composite grabbing mechanism was designed;the design of the overall structure for the deep in-situ displacement storage system and ultrahigh pressure cabin structure was completed,which could realize docking the coring device and core displacement in the in-situ reconstructed environment.(3)Test analysis system:A noncontact acoustic-electric-magnetic test system was developed under the in-situ reconstructed environment,and the errors between the test results and traditional contact test results were mostly less than 10%;a detachable deep in-situ core true triaxial test system was developed,which could perform loading tests for deep in-situ cores.The relevant technological achievements were successfully applied to the exploration and development of deep resources,such as deep mines,deep-sea natural gas hydrates,and deep oil and gas.The research results provide technical and equipment support for the construction of a theoretical system for deep in-situ rock mechanics,the development of deep earth resources and energy,and the scientific exploration of different layers and occurrence depths(deep and ultradeep)of the Earth. 展开更多

How Child Maltreatment Enduringly Impacts Aggression: A Perspective Based on Personality Solidification

From the perspectiv... It has been shown that early experiences of maltreatment can stably influence an individual’s internal and externalaggressive behavior in adulthood. And on what mechanisms do this stability arise? From the perspective of personalitysolidification theory, this study sample of 1951 primary and secondary school students was used toexplore the relationship between child maltreatment, Big Five personality and internalized and externalizedaggression, as well as the different mechanisms of differentiation of personality components in child maltreatmenton two different natures of aggression, using four scales: The Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), RevisedNEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI-R), None-suicidal Self-Injury Scale and Aggression Questionnaire. The findingssuggest that (1) neuroticism plays the same mediating mechanism in the effect of child maltreatment on thepersistence of internalized and externalized aggression;and (2) conscientiousness plays a different mechanism ineffect of child maltreatment on both internalized and externalized aggression. Therefore, child maltreatmentshould be discouraged and the development of a sound personality should be guided, thus reducing future aggressivebehavior and promoting child development and social harmony. 展开更多

Developing a mucosal vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 is critical for combatting the epidemic.Here,we investigated long-term immune responses and protection against SARS-CoV-2 for the intranasal vaccination of a triple receptor-binding domain(RBD)scaffold protein(3R-NC)adjuvanted with a flagellin protein(KFD)(3R-NC+KFDi.n).In mice,the vaccination elicited RBD-specific broad-neutralizing antibody responses in both serum and mucosal sites sustained at high level over a year.This long-lasting humoral immunity was correlated with the presence of long-lived RBD-specific IgG-and IgA-producing plasma cells,alongside the Th17 and Tfh17-biased T-cell responses driven by the KFD adjuvant.Based upon these preclinical findings,an open labeled clinical trial was conducted in individuals who had been primed with the inactivated SARS-CoV-2(IAV)vaccine.With a favorable safety profile,the 3R-NC+KFDi.n boost elicited enduring broad-neutralizing IgG in plasma and IgA in salivary secretions.To meet the challenge of frequently emerged variants,we further designed an updated triple-RBD scaffold protein with mutated RBD combinations,which can induce adaptable antibody responses to neutralize the newly emerging variants,including JN.1.Our findings highlight the potential of the KFD-adjuvanted triple-RBD scaffold protein is a promising prototype for the development of a mucosal vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 infection. 展开更多

The rapid mutation and spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants urge the development of effective mucosal vaccines to provide broadspectrum protection against the initial infection and thereby curb the transmission potential.Here,we designed a chimeric tripleRBD immunogen,3Ro-NC,harboring one Delta RBD and two Omicron RBDs within a novel protein scaffold.3Ro-NC elicits potent and broad RBD-specific neutralizing immunity against SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern.Notably,intranasal immunization with 3RoNC plus the mucosal adjuvant KFD(3Ro-NC+KFDi.n)elicits coordinated mucosal IgA and higher neutralizing antibody specificity(closer antigenic distance)against the Omicron variant.In Omicron-challenged human ACE2 transgenic mice,3Ro-NC+KFDi.n immunization significantly reduces the tissue pathology in the lung and lowers the viral RNA copy numbers in both the lung(85.7-fold)and the nasal turbinate(13.6-fold).Nasal virologic control is highly correlated with RBD-specific secretory IgA antibodies.Our data show that 3Ro-NC plus KFD is a promising mucosal vaccine candidate for protection against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron infection,pathology and transmission potential. 展开更多

Opto-thermal relaxation is one of the most important properties of nonlinear optical materials.Rapid and high precision measurement of this parameter is vital in both fundamental research and applications.Current measurement uses either complicated structure with poor precision or high power heating source with low efficiency.Here,we propose a pump-probe method(PPM) to optically measure the thermal relaxation using whispering gallery mode(WGM) microcavities.When the pump laser shines on a microcavity,the materials absorb the input power resonantly and heat up.Then the heat dissipates from the cavities to the surroundings.The opto-thermal effect induces a refractive index change reflected in the signal light transmission spectra.By analyzing the curve character of the transmission spectra of the signal response in the spontaneous relaxation process,the thermal relaxation time can be rapidly measured with high precision.Additionally,we systematically verify the PPM using microtoroids under various pump powers and at various locking points of the signal laser mode.The small rate of refractive index changes($10à8) can be discerned with an input pump power as low as 11.816 l W.Hence,the PPM can be used to detect refractive index perturbation,like gas or liquid sensing,temperature fluctuations with ultra-high sensitivity and be applied to optical materials analysis efficiently. 展开更多
