The Effect of Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Dropping Pill Combined with Butylphthalide Capsule on Cognitive Dysfunction in Patients after Acute Ischemic Stroke and Its Impact on Serum Cytokines

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Ginkgo biloba extract dropping pills combined with butylphthalide capsules on cognitive dysfunction in patients after acute ischemic stroke (AIS) and its impact on serum cytokines CRP, IL-6, and Hcy. Methods: This study selected 76 patients with cognitive dysfunction after ischemic stroke who were hospitalized at Zhuji People’s Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024. The patients were divided into two groups. The control group was treated with butylphthalide capsules, while the combination group received Ginkgo biloba extract dropping pills in addition to the treatment given to the control group. The neurological function, cognitive function, activities of daily living, and levels of serum cytokines CRP, IL-6, and Hcy were compared between the two groups after 1 month and 3 months of treatment. Results: The NIHSS scores, MMSE scores, ADL scores, and levels of CRP, IL-6, and Hcy in both groups showed statistically significant differences compared to before treatment (P Conclusion: The combination of Ginkgo biloba extract dropping pills and butylphthalide capsules has a better therapeutic effect on cognitive dysfunction in patients after ischemic stroke. Application of Time-Tracking Platform in the Reperfusion Treatment of Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke in Primary Hospitals

Objective To explore the application effect of time tracking platform in improving the reperfusion treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke in primary hospitals. Methods and Results Patients with acute ischemic stroke who carried out emergency intravenous thrombolysis and arterial thrombectomy in our hospital in 2021, 2022 and 2023 were selected. The time tracking mode was implemented, and the patients were recorded at each time node of the hospital and the whole-process digital management was conducted. Compared the mean DNT (Door to Needle Time) of intravenous thrombolysis in emergency stroke patients in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the total number of hospital cases within 4.5 h of onset, the total number of thrombolysis cases within 4.5 h of onset, the number of intravenous thrombolysis in 60 minutes of acute ischemic stroke, and the number of thrombolysis cases. The results show that from 2021 to 2023 our emergency stroke patients with intravenous thrombolysis average DNT shortened year by year, to the hospital within 4.5 h after the onset of the difference is statistically significant (all P < 0.05) conclusion through the application of stroke time tracking platform, is beneficial to shorten the treatment time of each link, can effectively reduce the hospital time delay, improve the rate of thrombolysis, improve the reperfusion of stroke centers in primary hospitals. 展开更多

Photoemission cross section:A critical parameter in the impurity photovoltaic effect

A numerical study has been conducted to explore the role of photoemission cross sections in the impurity photovoltaic(IPV) effect for silicon solar cells doped with indium. The photovoltaic parameters(short-circuit current density, opencircuit voltage, and conversion efficiency) of the IPV solar cell were calculated as functions of variable electron and hole photoemission cross sections. The presented results show that the electron and hole photoemission cross sections play critical roles in the IPV effect. When the electron photoemission cross section is 10^-20cm^2, the conversion efficiencyη of the IPV cell always has a negative gain(△η 0) if the IPV impurity is introduced. A large hole photoemission cross section can adversely impact IPV solar cell performance. The combination of a small hole photoemission cross section and a large electron photoemission cross section can achieve higher conversion efficiency for the IPV solar cell since a large electron photoemission cross section can enhance the necessary electron transition from the impurity level to the conduction band and a small hole photoemission cross section can reduce the needless sub-bandgap absorption. It is concluded that those impurities with small(large) hole photoemission cross section and large(small) electron photoemission cross section,whose energy levels are near the valence(or conduction) band edge, may be suitable for use in IPV solar cells. These results may help in judging whether or not an impurity is appropriate for use in IPV solar cells according to its electron and hole photoemission cross sections. 展开更多

Integrating lithium metal anodes with polymer electrolytes is a promising technology for the next generation high-energy-density rechargeable batteries.As the progress is often hindered by the dendrite growth upon cycling,quantifying three-dimensional(3D)microstructures of dendrites in polymer electrolytes is essential to better understanding of dendrite formation for the development of mitigation strategies.Techniques for 3D quantification and visualization of dendrites,especially those with low Li contents,are rather limited.This study reports quantitative measurements of the spatial distribution of Li dendrites grown in solid polymer electrolytes using 3D tomographic neutron depth profiling(NDP)with improved spatial resolution,compositional range,and data presentation.Data reveal heterogeneous distribution of Li over length scales from tens nanometers to centimeters.While most dendrites grow from the plating toward the stripping electrode with dwindling Li quantities,dendrites apparently grown from the Li-stripping electrode are also observed.The discovery is only possibly due to the unique combination of the high specificity and high sensitivity of the neutron activation analysis of Li isotope. 展开更多

Patterned photonic crystals with structural colors on textile substrates have attracted a special attention due to the great advantages in application,which currently become a research hot-spot.This study utilized an ink-jet printing technology to prepare high-quality photonic crystal patterns with structural colors on polyester substrates.The self-assembly temperature of poly(styrene-N-methylol acrylamide)(P(St-NMA))microspheres set to construct photonic crystals were deeply optimized.Moreover,the structural colors of prepared photonic crystal patterns were characterized and evaluated.When the mass fraction of P(St-NMA)microspheres was 1.0 wt.%,the pH value ranged from 5 to 7,and the surface tension was in the range of 63.79 to 71.20 mN/m,inks could present the best print performance.At 60°C,prepared P(St-NMA)microsphere inks were good for printing to obtain patterned photonic crystals with regular arrangement and beautiful structural colors.Specifically,photonic crystals with different colors could be constructed by regulating the diameter of microspheres in inks,and prepared structural colors exhibited distinct iridescent phenomenon.The present results could provide a theoretical basis for the industrial realization of patterned photonic crystals by ink-jet printing technology. 展开更多
