Density of States in Two-Dimensional Square Lattices Around Half Filling with Strong Impurities

We calculate the lowest-order quantum-interference correction to the density of states (DOS) of weakly-disordered two-dimensional (2D) tight-binding square lattices around half filling. The impurities are assumed to be randomly distributed on small fractions of the sites, and have a-strong potential yielding a unitary-limit scattering. In addition to the usual diffusive modes in the retarded-advanced channel, there appear diffusive pi modes in the retarded-retarded (or advanced-advanced) channel due to the existence of particle-hole symmetry. It is found that the pi-mode diffuson gives rise to a logarithmic suppression to the DOS near the band center, which prevails over the positive correction contributed by pi-mode cooperon. As a result, the DOS is subject to a negative total correction. This result is qualitatively different from the divergent behavior of the DOS at the band center predicted previously for disordered 2D two-sublattice models with the particle-hole symmetry. 展开更多

The paper gives a detailed account of the dynamic change in forest resources in China, including the overall process of forest evolution, the status quo and features of the existing forest resources and the development and use of major forest resources. In addition, it analyses the current situation of China's environment and explores the main contributing factors based on the overall environmental situation. In order to achieve sustainable management of forest resources and improve the environment in China, the Chinese government attaches great importance to the protection and development of forest resources as well as environmental development and improvement. Impacts on growth of young trees of Pinus Koraiensis of 6 environmental factors of intensityof sunlight, direct sunlight, thickness of soil humus, neighboring trees, upper canopy species, herbs andshrubs were investigated on young tree of Pinus Koraiensis and 4 neighboring trees which are consideredthe structural unit of the microenvironment. Results indicated that the 6 environmental factors underinvestigation had effects, to various extents, on growth of the young trees. Based on the findings, suitablegrowing conditions for regenerated young tree of Pinus Koraiensis under forest were identified andcorresponding silvicultural measures were proposed for operational practice. 展开更多
