UAV marine monitoring plays an essential role in marine environmental protection because of its flexibility and convenience,low cost and convenient maintenance.In marine environmental monitoring,the similarity between...UAV marine monitoring plays an essential role in marine environmental protection because of its flexibility and convenience,low cost and convenient maintenance.In marine environmental monitoring,the similarity between objects such as oil spill and sea surface,Spartina alterniflora and algae is high,and the effect of the general segmentation algorithm is poor,which brings new challenges to the segmentation of UAV marine images.Panoramic segmentation can do object detection and semantic segmentation at the same time,which can well solve the polymorphism problem of objects in UAV ocean images.Currently,there are few studies on UAV marine image recognition with panoptic segmentation.In addition,there are no publicly available panoptic segmentation datasets for UAV images.In this work,we collect and annotate UAV images to form a panoptic segmentation UAV dataset named UAV-OUC-SEG and propose a panoptic segmentation method named PanopticUAV.First,to deal with the large intraclass variability in scale,deformable convolution and CBAM attention mechanism are employed in the backbone to obtain more accurate features.Second,due to the complexity and diversity of marine images,boundary masks by the Laplacian operator equation from the ground truth are merged into feature maps to improve boundary segmentation precision.Experiments demonstrate the advantages of PanopticUAV beyond the most other advanced approaches on the UAV-OUC-SEG dataset.展开更多

The global convergence and linear convergence rate of these curve search methods are investigated under some mild conditions. Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems worldwide.The loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on wetlands.Methods:The China Coa...Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems worldwide.The loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on wetlands.Methods:The China Coastal Waterbird Census was organized by volunteer birdwatchers in China's coastal region.Waterbirds were surveyed synchronously once every month at 14 sites,as well as irregularly at a further 18 sites,between September 2005 and December 2013.Results:A total of 75 species of waterbirds met the 1 % population level Ramsar listing criterion at least once at one site.The number of birds of the following species accounted for over 20 % of the total flyway populations at a single site:Mute Swan(Cygnus olor),Siberia Crane(Grus leucogeranus),Far Eastern Oystercatcher(Haematopus osculans),Bar-tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica),Spotted Greenshank(Tringa guttifer),Great Knot(Calidris tenuirostris),Spoon-billed Sandpiper(Calidris pygmeus),Saunders' s Gull(Larus saundersi),Relict Gull(Larus relictus),Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo),Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia),Black-faced Spoonbill(Platalea minor) and Dalmatian Pelican(Pelecanus crispus).A total of 26 sites supported at least one species of which their number met the1 % criterion.Forty-two species met the 1 % criterion in the Yellow River Delta,Shandong;29 at the Cangzhou coast,Hebei and 26 species at the Lianyungang coast,Jiangsu.Conclusions:The results highlight the international importance of China's coastal wetlands for waterbirds.This study also demonstrates that participation of local birdwatchers in waterbird surveys results in data that are invaluable not only for understanding the current status of waterbirds in China's coastal regions but also for waterbird conservation and management.展开更多

Once released to circulation upon exercise or cold exposure, irisin stimulates brow...Irisin is a polypeptide hormone derived from the proteolytic cleavage of fibronectin-type III domain- containing 5 (FNDC5) protein. Once released to circulation upon exercise or cold exposure, irisin stimulates browning of white adipose tissue (WAT) and uncoupling protein I (UCP1) expression, leading to an increase in total body energy expenditure by augmented UCPl-mediated thermogenesis. It is currently unknown whether irisin is secreted by bone upon exercise or whether it regulates bone metabolism in vivo. In this study, we found that 2 weeks of voluntary wheel-running exercise induced high levels of FNDC5 messenger RNA as well as FNDC5/irisin protein expression in murine bone tissues. Increased immunoreactivity due to exercise-induced FNDC5/irisin expression was detected in different regions of exercised femoral bones, including growth plate, trabecular bone, cortical bone, articular cartilage, and bone-tendon interface. Exercise also increased expression of osteogenic markers in bone and that of UCP1 in WAT, and led to bodyweight loss. Irisin intraperitoneal (IP) administration resulted in increased trabecular and cortical bone thickness and osteoblasts numbers, and concurrently induced UCP1 expression in subcutaneous WAT. Lentiviral FNDC5 IP administration increased cortical bone thickness. In vitro studies in bone cells revealed irisin increases osteoblastogenesis and mineralization, and inhibits receptor activator of nuclear factor-kB ligand (RANKL)- induced osteoclastogenesis. Taken together, our findings show that voluntary exercise increases irisin production in bone, and that an increase in circulating irisin levels enhances osteogenesis in mice.展开更多
The emergence of Y6-type nonfullerene acceptors has greatly enhanced the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of organic solar cells(OSCs).However,which structural feature is responsible for the excellent photovoltaic perf...The emergence of Y6-type nonfullerene acceptors has greatly enhanced the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of organic solar cells(OSCs).However,which structural feature is responsible for the excellent photovoltaic performance is still under debate.In this study,two Y6-like acceptors BDOTP-1 and BDOTP-2 were designed.Different from previous Y6-type acceptors featuring an A–D–Aʹ–D–A structure,BDOTP-1,and BDOTP-2 have no electron-deficient Aʹfragment in the core unit.Instead,there is an electron-rich dibenzodioxine fragment in the core.Although this modification leads to a marked change in the molecular dipole moment,electrostatic potential,frontier orbitals,and energy levels,BDOTP acceptors retain similar three-dimensional packing capability as Y6-type acceptors due to the similar banana-shaped molecular configuration.BDOTP acceptors show good performance in OSCs.High PCEs of up to 18.51%(certified 17.9%)are achieved.This study suggests that the banana-shaped configuration instead of the A–D–Aʹ–D–A structure is likely to be the determining factor in realizing high photovoltaic performance.展开更多

As the sacrificial templates, polystyrene(PS) latex spheres were assembled with graphene oxide(GO) to build up a sandwich type composite film, followed by heat removal of which with a simultaneous reduction of GO. The 3DGF exhibited high specific surface area of 402.5 m2/g, controllable pores and mechanical flexibility, which was employed as the binder-free supercapacitor electrode and shows high specific gravimetric capacitance of 95 F/g at 0.5 A/g, with enhanced rate capability in 3 electrode KOH system.展开更多
Aqueous Zn-ion battery has emerged as one of the most prospective energy storage devices due to its low cost,high safety,and eco-friendliness.However,Zn-ion batteries are bottlenecked by significant capacity fading du...Aqueous Zn-ion battery has emerged as one of the most prospective energy storage devices due to its low cost,high safety,and eco-friendliness.However,Zn-ion batteries are bottlenecked by significant capacity fading during long-term cycling and poor performance at high current rates.Here,we report an available cooperation of multivariate manganese oxides@carbon hybrids(MnO_(2)/MnO@C and MnO_(2)/Mn_(3)O_(4)@C)via a plasma-assisted design as an attractive Zn-ion cathode.Among them,the MnO_(2)/MnO@C cathode exhibits a reversible specific capacity of 165 m Ah g^(-1)over 200 cycles at a high rate of 0.5 A g^(-1),and possesses great rate performance with high capacities of 110 and 100 m Ah g^(-1)at a high rate of 0.8 and 1 A g^(-1),respectively.The good cathode performance significantly results from the facile charge transfer and ions(Zn^(2+)and H^(+))insertion in the manganese oxides/carbon hybrids featuring phase stability behavior in the available cooperation of multivalence and carbon conductive substrates.This work will promote the Zn-manganese dioxide system for the design of low-cost and high-performance aqueous rechargeable Zn-ion batteries.展开更多

These new line search rules can extend the accepted scope of step sizes to a wider extent than the corresponding original ones and give an adequate initial step size at each iteration. It is proved that the resulting line search algorithms have global convergence under some mild conditions. It is also proved that the search direction plays an important role in line search methods and that the step size approaches mainly guarantee global convergence in general cases. The convergence rate of these methods is also investigated. Some numerical results show that these new line search algorithms are effective in practical computation.展开更多
Polypropylene(PP)mesh is commonly used in abdominal wall repair due to its ability to reduce the risk of organ damage,infections and other complications.However,the PP mesh often leads to adhesion formation and does n...Polypropylene(PP)mesh is commonly used in abdominal wall repair due to its ability to reduce the risk of organ damage,infections and other complications.However,the PP mesh often leads to adhesion formation and does not promote functional tissue repair.In this study,we synthesized one kind of aldehyde Bletilla striata polysaccharide(BSPA)modified chitosan(CS)hydrogel based on Schiff base reaction.The hydrogel exhibited a porous network structure,a highly hydrophilic surface and good biocompatibility.We wrapped the PP mesh inside the hydrogel and evaluated the performance of the resulting composites in a bilateral 1×1.5cm abdominal wall defect model in rats.The results of gross observation,histological staining and immunohistochemical staining demonstrated the positive impact of the CS hydrogel on anti-adhesion and wound healing effects.Notably,the addition of BSPA to the CS hydrogel further improved the performance of the composites in vivo,promoting wound healing by enhancing collagen deposition and capillary rearrangement.This study suggested that the BSPA-modified CS hydrogel significantly promoted the anti-adhesion,anti-inflammatory and pro-angiogenesis properties of PP meshes during the healing process.Overall,this work offers a novel approach to the design of abdominal wall repair patches.展开更多
Semiconducting polymer nanoparticles(SPNs)have shown great promise in second near-infrared window(NIR-II)phototheranostics.However,the issue of long metabolic time significantly restricts the clinical application of S...Semiconducting polymer nanoparticles(SPNs)have shown great promise in second near-infrared window(NIR-II)phototheranostics.However,the issue of long metabolic time significantly restricts the clinical application of SPNs.In this study,we rationally designed a biodegradable SPN(BSPN50)for NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided photodynamic therapy(PDT).BSPN50 is prepared by encapsulating a biodegradable SP(BSP50)with an amphiphilic copolymer F-127.BSP50 is composed of NIR-II fluorescent diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)segment and degradable poly(phenylenevinylene)(PPV)segment with the ratio of 50/50.BSPN50 has both satisfactory degradability under myeloperoxidase(MPO)/hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))and NIR-II fluorescence emission upon 808 nm laser excitation.Furthermore,BSPN50 shows good photodynamic efficacy under 808 nm laser irradiation.BSPN50 shows a faster degradation rate than BSPN100 which has no PPV segment both in vitro and in vivo.In addition,BSPN50 can effectively diagnose tumor via NIR-II fluorescence imaging and inhibit the tumor growth by PDT.Thus,our study provides a rational approach to construct biodegradable nanoplatforms for efficient tumor NIR-II phototheranostics.展开更多
The nitrate-nitrogen(NO 3-N) concentrations from shallow groundwater wells situated in 29 of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network field stations,representing typical agroand forest ecosystems,were assessed using m...The nitrate-nitrogen(NO 3-N) concentrations from shallow groundwater wells situated in 29 of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network field stations,representing typical agroand forest ecosystems,were assessed using monitoring data collected between 2004 and 2010.Results from this assessment permit a national scale assessment of nitrate concentrations in shallow groundwater,and allow linkages between nitrate concentrations in groundwater and broad land use categories to be made.Results indicated that most of the NO 3--N concentrations in groundwater from the agroand forest ecosystems were below the Class 3 drinking water standard stated in the Chinese National Standard:Quality Standard for Ground Water(≤ 20 mg/L).Over the study period,the average NO 3--N concentrations were significantly higher in agro-ecosystems(4.1 ± 0.33 mg/L) than in forest ecosystems(0.5 ± 0.04 mg/L).NO 3-N concentrations were relatively higher(〉 10 mg N /L) in 10 of the 43 wells sampled in the agricultural ecosystems.These elevated concentrations occurred mainly in the Ansai,Yucheng,Linze,Fukang,Akesu,and Cele field sites,which were located in arid and semiarid areas where irrigation rates are high.We suggest that improvements in N fertilizer application and irrigation management practices in the arid and semi-arid agricultural ecosystems of China are the key to managing groundwater nitrate concentrations.展开更多

文摘Polypropylene(PP)mesh is commonly used in abdominal wall repair due to its ability to reduce the risk of organ damage,infections and other complications.However,the PP mesh often leads to adhesion formation and does not promote functional tissue repair.In this study,we synthesized one kind of aldehyde Bletilla striata polysaccharide(BSPA)modified chitosan(CS)hydrogel based on Schiff base reaction.The hydrogel exhibited a porous network structure,a highly hydrophilic surface and good biocompatibility.We wrapped the PP mesh inside the hydrogel and evaluated the performance of the resulting composites in a bilateral 1×1.5cm abdominal wall defect model in rats.The results of gross observation,histological staining and immunohistochemical staining demonstrated the positive impact of the CS hydrogel on anti-adhesion and wound healing effects.Notably,the addition of BSPA to the CS hydrogel further improved the performance of the composites in vivo,promoting wound healing by enhancing collagen deposition and capillary rearrangement.This study suggested that the BSPA-modified CS hydrogel significantly promoted the anti-adhesion,anti-inflammatory and pro-angiogenesis properties of PP meshes during the healing process.Overall,this work offers a novel approach to the design of abdominal wall repair patches.

文摘Semiconducting polymer nanoparticles(SPNs)have shown great promise in second near-infrared window(NIR-II)phototheranostics.However,the issue of long metabolic time significantly restricts the clinical application of SPNs.In this study,we rationally designed a biodegradable SPN(BSPN50)for NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guided photodynamic therapy(PDT).BSPN50 is prepared by encapsulating a biodegradable SP(BSP50)with an amphiphilic copolymer F-127.BSP50 is composed of NIR-II fluorescent diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)segment and degradable poly(phenylenevinylene)(PPV)segment with the ratio of 50/50.BSPN50 has both satisfactory degradability under myeloperoxidase(MPO)/hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))and NIR-II fluorescence emission upon 808 nm laser excitation.Furthermore,BSPN50 shows good photodynamic efficacy under 808 nm laser irradiation.BSPN50 shows a faster degradation rate than BSPN100 which has no PPV segment both in vitro and in vivo.In addition,BSPN50 can effectively diagnose tumor via NIR-II fluorescence imaging and inhibit the tumor growth by PDT.Thus,our study provides a rational approach to construct biodegradable nanoplatforms for efficient tumor NIR-II phototheranostics.

文摘The nitrate-nitrogen(NO 3-N) concentrations from shallow groundwater wells situated in 29 of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network field stations,representing typical agroand forest ecosystems,were assessed using monitoring data collected between 2004 and 2010.Results from this assessment permit a national scale assessment of nitrate concentrations in shallow groundwater,and allow linkages between nitrate concentrations in groundwater and broad land use categories to be made.Results indicated that most of the NO 3--N concentrations in groundwater from the agroand forest ecosystems were below the Class 3 drinking water standard stated in the Chinese National Standard:Quality Standard for Ground Water(≤ 20 mg/L).Over the study period,the average NO 3--N concentrations were significantly higher in agro-ecosystems(4.1 ± 0.33 mg/L) than in forest ecosystems(0.5 ± 0.04 mg/L).NO 3-N concentrations were relatively higher(〉 10 mg N /L) in 10 of the 43 wells sampled in the agricultural ecosystems.These elevated concentrations occurred mainly in the Ansai,Yucheng,Linze,Fukang,Akesu,and Cele field sites,which were located in arid and semiarid areas where irrigation rates are high.We suggest that improvements in N fertilizer application and irrigation management practices in the arid and semi-arid agricultural ecosystems of China are the key to managing groundwater nitrate concentrations.
