In this case report, we retrospectively analyzed the imaging findings of three cases of non-HCC with macroscopic BDTT on dynamic enhanced multislice computed tomography (MSCT) scan. One case of primary hepatic carcinosarcoma was presented as a solitary, large welldefined tumor with significant necrotic changes. One case of liver metastasis from colon cancer was presented as a Iobulated, large ill-defined tumor. One case of intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm involved the entire pancreas, presented as a cystic and solid mass with multilocular changes (the individual Ioculi were less than 5.0 mm in diameter). The bile duct was dilated due to expansible growth of the BDFE in all three patients. The BDTT was contiguous with hepatic or pancreatictumor, and both of them showed the same enhancement patterns on dynamic contrast-enhanced computed tomography scan: early enhancement in the hepatic arterial phase and a quick wash out of contrast agent in the portal and equilibrium phases. Macroscopic BDTT- in non-HCC patient is rare, dynamic enhanced MSCT scan may be valuable in the diagnosis of non-HCC with BDTT.展开更多

The new phenomena include deformation instability with the formation of a helical domain, domain topology transition from helix to cylinder, domain-front branching and loading-path dependence of domain patterns. In this paper, we model the polycrystal as an elastic continuum with nonconvex strain energy and adopt the non-local strain gradient energy to account for the energy of the diffusive domain front. We simulate the equilibrium domain patterns and their evolution in the tubes under tensile loading by a non-local Finite Element Method (FEM). It is revealed that the observed loading-path dependence and topology transition of do- main patterns are due to the thermodynamic metastability of the tube system. The computation also shows that the tube-wall thickness has a significant effect on the domain patterns: with fixed material properties and interfacial energy density, a large tube-wall thickness leads to a long and slim helical domain and a severe branching of the cylindrical-domain front.展开更多

It turned out that the majority of surveyed subjects were characterized by deformation of element status demonstrated by excess and deficit of the basic essential elements of different degrees of manifestation. Deficit of Co (68% of surveyed people), Mg (67%), Ca (64%), Cu (47%), K (46%), Zn (44%), I (41%), Na (33%), P (27%) and Se (24%) was typical for female subjects as well as excess of Si (28%), Zn (22%) and P (20%). Male residents were characterized by deficit of Co (81%), Ca (66%), Mg (65%), I (50%), Cu (37%), K and Na (27%) and excess of Zn (41%). In individual cases it was noted excess concentration of nominally essential and toxic elements in both examined groups. They were: A1, As, Cd, Li, Ni, Pb, Sn, V and B. While analyzing of medians of chemical concentration it was stated reliable sex-related differences (P 〈 0.05): content of Ca, Mg and Mn was higher in hair samples of women, and content of As, B, Cd, Cr, K, Li, Na, P, Pb and V, on the contrary, was higher in male samples.展开更多

Based on the extracting principle of acoustic emission(AE) signals from damaged components, the paper introduces Wigner high-order spectra to the field of feature extraction and fault diagnosis of AE signals. Some main performances of Wigner binary spectra,Wigner triple spectra and Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) are discussed, including of time-frequency resolution, energy accumulation, reduction of crossing items and noise elimination. Wigner triple spectra is employed to the fault diagnosis of rolling bearings with AE techniques. The fault features reading from experimental data analysis are clear, accurate and intuitionistic. The validity and accuracy of Wigner high-order spectra methods proposed agree quite well with simulation results. Simulation and research results indicate that wigner high-order spectra is quite useful for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis in conjunction with AE technique, and has very important research and application values in feature extraction and faults diagnosis based on AE signals due to mechanical component damages.展开更多
