The vibration shows a strong coupling between the membrane and bending solutions: either the membrane drive or the bending drive causes motions of both the membrane type and bending type. Three interesting effects characteristic of the forced vibration emerge from the coupling nature: the non-bending effect, the inner-quiescent effect and the inner-membrane-motion-and-outer-bending-motion effect. These effects may have potential applications in engineering.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To investigate how the“special effect”/“coeffect”/“synergistic effect”can achieve a positive result using an“acupuncture prescription”for functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGIDs)in clinical pract...OBJECTIVE:To investigate how the“special effect”/“coeffect”/“synergistic effect”can achieve a positive result using an“acupuncture prescription”for functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGIDs)in clinical practice,based on the characteristics of single/compatible acupoints and acupuncture techniques.METHODS:According to the search strategy,we searched six electronic bibliographic databases and provided a summary for this overview.RESULTS:A large body of evidence has shown that acupuncture has positive effects in the treatment of FGIDs.However,the“prescription”intervention involved different single acupoints,compatible acupoints and acupoints based on expert consensus.CONCLUSIONS:The core acupoints,including Tianshu(ST25),Zusanli(ST36),and Shangjuxu(ST37),emphasize the application of special acupoints,meridian points and nerve segments,and the two-way regulatory effect found in this study is often used as the basis of acupoint selection and acupoint prescription for acupuncture treatment of FGIDs.展开更多

According to the current information that the author retrieved, there are relatively fewer domestic theses on the researches on the subtitle design. Although the domestic and the foreign scholars have confirmed the status of the subtitles in the film and television works, so far there is no known special work on the subtitle design, and only a handful of the journal articles have been published. Most of the researches on the subtitles are also about the functional production, and few Focus on the subtitle design. With the degree of freedom of the center of mass(CM) characterizing the collective quantum state of a macroscopic object(MO),it is found that an MO consisting of N particles can decohere with a time scale of no more than p (√N)^-1. Here, the special relativity can induce the coupling of the collective motion mode and the relative motion modes in an order of 1/c^2, which intrinsically results in the above minimum decoherence.展开更多
We address the issue of public or bank holidays in electricity load modeling and forecasting. Special characteristics of public holidays such as their classification into fixed-date and weekday holidays are discussed ...We address the issue of public or bank holidays in electricity load modeling and forecasting. Special characteristics of public holidays such as their classification into fixed-date and weekday holidays are discussed in detail. We present state-of-the-art techniques to deal with public holidays such as removing them from the data set,treating them as Sunday dummy or introducing separate holiday dummies. We analyze pros and cons of these approaches and provide a large load forecasting study for Germany that compares the techniques using standard performance and significance measures. Finally, we give general recommendations for the treatment of public holidays in energy forecasting to suggest how the drawbacks particular to most of the state-of-the-art methods can be mitigated. This is especially useful, as the incorporation of holiday effects can improve the forecasting accuracy during public holidays periods by more than 80%, but even for non-holidays periods, the forecasting error can be reduced by approximately 10%.展开更多
