A quantitative criterion for calculating the constant strain rate of composites was established. Then the upper limit of strain rate, restricted by stress equilibrium and constant loading rate, was rationally estimated and confirmed by tests. Within the achievable range of 0.001/s-895/s, it was found that the strength increased first and subsequently decreased as the strain rate increased. This feature was also reflected by the turning point(579/s) of the bilinear model for strength prediction. The transition in failure mechanism, from local opening damage to completely splitting destruction, was mainly responsible for such strain rate effects. And three major failure modes were summarized under microscopic observations: fiber fracture, inter-fiber fracture, and interface delamination. Finally, by introducing a nonlinear damage variable, a simplified ZWT model was developed to characterize the dynamic mechanical response. Excellent agreement was shown between the experimental and simulated results.展开更多

The experimental results show that the N2 porosity of beam-weaving laser welding low carbon steel can be remarkably reduced with increasing weaving frequency, and porosity can be eliminated when the weaving amplitude is only 0.5 mm; and the Ar porosity in the weld metal is decreased with increasing weaving frequency and amplitude when the welding speed is higher than 0.5 m/min. The beam-weaving laser welding of ultra-fine grained steel has been investigated. The experimental results show that beam-weaving laser welding with appropriate amplitude and frequency can partly restrain the growth of the columnar grain and improve the tensile strength of the weld metal.展开更多

Various weaving techniques and various totem patterns contain rich cultural connotations. The development of cultural and creative industries often uses existing environmental materials to deconstruct and use them in innovative ways to reinspire and present another style. With the rapid progress of computer-aided design technology, digital applications in the design practice has become an important element, and parametric design is the best popular design method in recent years. This paper is mainly in view of the weaving crafts in the traditional culture of the world occupies an important role, and the precious traditional weaving crafts gradually lost. Therefore, it is planned to construct a 3D model with knitting characteristics through a parametric design method, and print out the prototype through the 3D printing mechanism, that is, the traditional craftsmanship is integrated into the modern manufacturing process with innovative techniques, to show the new style of this weaving craft culture that is different from the past, so that it not only retain its inherent spirit, but also can promote this ideal of cultural creativity.展开更多

The wooden loom parts unearthed in the Hemudu ruin, Zhejiang Prov. were studied with reference to the inscriptions on bones and tortoise shells as well as the characters casted on bronze objects, denoting the weaving instruments of pre-Zhou pcriod. The results show that, all the main natural fibres were utilized, all simple and combined weaves except the satin weave had appeared, and the weaving instruments might include the ground loom with 3 or 4 points support, besides the breast loom already reported.展开更多
