This is particularly true when multiple signal frequency bands overlap. Message passing algorithms (MPA) with Dirichlet process (DP) prior can be employed in a sparse Bayesian learning (SBL) framework with high precision. However, existing methods suffer from either high complexity or low precision. To address this, we propose a low-complexity DOA estimation algorithm based on a factor graph. This approach introduces two strong constraints via a stretching transformation of the factor graph. The first constraint separates the observation from the DP prior, enabling the application of the unitary approximate message passing (UAMP) algorithm for simplified inference and mitigation of divergence issues. The second constraint compensates for the deviation in estimation angle caused by the grid mismatch problem. Compared to state-of-the-art algorithms, our proposed method offers higher estimation accuracy and lower complexity.展开更多

On one hand, the quasiexact/exact solution obtained in the time/frequency domain is time-consuming and just as a reference value for approximate solutions;on the other hand, calculation errors and application range of approximate solutions not only rely on approximate algorithms but also on discharge modes. For the purpose to track the transient dynamics for Li solid-phase diffusion in spherical active particles with a tolerable error range and for a wide applicable range, it is necessary to choose optimal approximate algorithms in terms of discharge modes and the nature of active material particles. In this study, approximation methods, such as diffusion length method, polynomial profile approximation method, Padé approximation method, pseudo steady state method, eigenfunction-based Galerkin collocation method, and separation of variables method for solving Li solid-phase diffusion in spherical active particles are compared from calculation fundamentals to algorithm implementation. Furthermore, these approximate solutions are quantitatively compared to the quasi-exact/exact solution in the time/frequency domain under typical discharge modes, i.e., start-up, slow-down, and speed-up. The results obtained from the viewpoint of time-frequency analysis offer a theoretical foundation on how to track Li transient concentration profile in spherical active particles with a high precision and for a wide application range. In turn, optimal solutions of Li solid diffusion equations for spherical active particles can improve the reliability in predicting safe operating regime and estimating maximum power for automotive batteries.展开更多

文摘We address the 1-line minimum Steiner tree of line segments(1L-MStT-LS)problem.Specifically,given a set S of n disjoint line segments in R^(2),we are asked to find the location of a line l and a set E_(l) of necessary line segments(i.e.,edges)such that a graph consisting of all line segments in S ∪ E_(l) plus this line l,denoted by T_(l)=(S,l,E_(l)),becomes a Steiner tree, the objective is to minimize total length of edges in E_(l) among all such Steiner trees.Similarly,we are asked to find a set E_(0) of necessary edges such that a graph consisting of all line segments in S ∪ E_(0),denoted by T_(S)=(S,E_(0)),becomes a Steiner tree, the objective is to minimize total length of edges in E_(0) among all such Steiner trees,we refer to this new problem as the minimum Steiner tree of line segments(MStT-LS)problem.In addition, when two endpoints of each edge in Eo need to be located on two different line segments in S,respectively,we refer to that problem as the minimum spanning tree of line segments(MST-LS)problem.We obtain three main results:(1)Using technique of Voronoi diagram of line segments,we design an exact algorithm in time O(n log n)to solve the MST-LS problem;(2)we show that the algorithm designed in(1)is a 1.214-approximation algorithm to solve the MStT-LS problem;(3)using the combination of the algorithm designed in(1)as a subroutine for many times,a technique of finding linear facility location and a key lemma proved by techniques of computational geometry,we present a 1.214-approximation algorithm in time O(n^(3) log n)to solve the 1L-MStT-LS problem.

文摘Li transient concentration distribution in spherical active material particles can affect the maximum power density and the safe operating regime of the electric vehicles(EVs). In turn, optimal solutions of Li solid diffusion equations for spherical active particles can improve the reliability in predicting safe operating regime and estimating maximum power for automotive batteries.
