We present a physical scheme to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity decay. In the teleportation process, four-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state is used as quantum channel, and two unknown entangled atoms and two of four atoms in the four-particle GHZ state are trapped in four leaky cavities, respectively. Based on the joint detection of the photons leak out from the four cavities, we can teleport an unknown entangled state to two other remote atoms with certain probability and high fidelity. 展开更多

In the teleportation scheme Bell state measurements (BSMs) are difficult for physical realization, so we investigate another strategy using separate measurements instead of BSM based on cavity quantum electrodynamics techniques. The scheme of two-atom entangled state teleportation is a controlled and probabilistic one. For the teleportation of the three-atom entangled state, the scheme is a probabilistic one. We propose a scheme for teleportation of an unknown N-atom state using a two-atom entangled state within a cavity QED and show the feasibility in experiment. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay, which is important from the experimental point of view. Another feature of the scheme is that teleporting a N-atom state just requires a small amount of entanglement (i,e. a two-atom entangled state) and less classical bits (two bits). 展开更多

In addition, our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay, which is important from the experimental point of view. If the quantum channel is a two-atom maximally entangled state, teleportation of an unknown N-atom state can be realized by a simpler scheme via cavity QED. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose a physical scheme to concentrate non-maximally entangled atomic pure states by using atomic collision in a far-off-resonant cavity. The most distinctive advantage of our scheme is that the non-maximally entangled atoms may be far from or near each other and their degree of entanglement can be maximally amplified. The photon-number-dependent parts in the effective Hamiltonian are cancelled with the assistance of a strong classical field, thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. 展开更多

This paper proposes a scheme for implementing the teleportation of an arbitrary unknown two-atom state by using a cluster state of four identical 2-level atoms as quantum channel in a thermal cavity. The two distinct advantages of the present scheme are: (i) The discrimination of 16 orthonormal cluster states in the standard teleportation protocol is transformed into the discrimination of single-atom states. Consequently, the discrimination difficulty of states is degraded. (ii) The scheme is insensitive to the cavity field state and the cavity decay for the thermal cavity is only virtually excited when atoms interact with it. Thus, the scheme is more feasible. 展开更多
