The ESA and CAS SMILE mission orbit is highly elliptical and will pass through multiple radiation environments.The Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)instrument aboard has a radiation shutter door designed to close when the surrou...The ESA and CAS SMILE mission orbit is highly elliptical and will pass through multiple radiation environments.The Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)instrument aboard has a radiation shutter door designed to close when the surrounding radiation flux is high.The shutter door will close when passing below an altitude threshold to protect against trapped particles in the Earth’s Van Allen Belts.Therefore,two radiation environments can be approximated based on the shutter door position:open and closed.The instrument background for the CCDs(Charge-Coupled Devices)that form the focal plane array of the SXI were evaluated for the two environments.Due to the correlation of the space environment with the solar cycle,the solar minima and maxima,the background was also evaluated at these two extremes.The results demonstrated that the highest instrument background will occur during solar minima due to the main contributing source being Galactic Cosmic Rays(GCRs).It was also found that the open background was highest for solar minima and that the closed background was highest during solar maxima.This is due to the radiation shutter door acting as a scattering centre and the changes in the energy flux distribution of the GCRs between the two solar extremes.展开更多

Different ...The space environment background of various particle fluxes of the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI), one of the payloads of the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S) spacecraft, is investigated and presented. Different approaches are used to obtain the input information on various space environment particles(protons, alpha particles, electrons, positrons, neutrons, and photons). Some special regions(SAA and radiation belt) are also taken into account. The findings indicate that electrons are the primary background source in the radiation belt. Due to the large background flux generated by electrons, HXI cannot effectively observe solar flares in the radiation belt.Outside the radiation belt, primary protons and albedo photons are the main sources of background at low and high magnetic latitudes respectively. The statistical analysis of the flare and background spectra shows that the errors of the flare energy spectrum observation are mainly concentrated in the high energy band, and the detector still has a certain spectrum observation capability for flares of C-class and below in the low energy band of the non-radiation belt. The imaging observation of flares of C-class and below is significantly affected by the accuracy of background subtraction. The energy band with the best signal-to-noise ratio is from 10 to 50 ke V, which can be used to monitor the formation and class of flares.展开更多
The progressive aging of populations has resulted in an increased prevalence of chronic pathologies,especially of metabolic,neurodegenerative and movement disorders.In particular,type 2 diabetes(T2D),Alzheimer’s dise...The progressive aging of populations has resulted in an increased prevalence of chronic pathologies,especially of metabolic,neurodegenerative and movement disorders.In particular,type 2 diabetes(T2D),Alzheimer’s disease(AD)and Parkinson’s disease(PD)are among the most prevalent age-related,multifactorial pathologies that deserve particular attention,given their dramatic impact on patient quality of life,their economic and social burden as well the etiopathogenetic mechanisms,which may overlap in some cases.Indeed,the existence of common triggering factors reflects the contribution of mutual genetic,epigenetic and environmental features in the etiopathogenetic mechanisms underlying T2D and AD/PD.On this subject,this review will summarize the shared(epi)genomic features that characterize these complex pathologies.In particular,genetic variants and gene expression profiles associated with T2D and AD/PD will be discussed as possible contributors to determine the susceptibility and progression to these disorders.Moreover,potential shared epigenetic modifications and factors among T2D,AD and PD will also be illustrated.Overall,this review shows that findings from genomic studies still deserves further research to evaluate and identify genetic factors that directly contribute to the shared etiopathogenesis.Moreover,a common epigenetic background still needs to be investigated and characterized.The evidences discussed in this review underline the importance of integrating largescale(epi)genomic data with additional molecular information and clinical and social background in order to finely dissect the complex etiopathogenic networks that build up the“disease interactome”characterizing T2D,AD and PD.展开更多

The mode architecture, working pattern and development flow of this system were described. The prototype system developed was applied to Lambda 900 Spectrometer in Chongqing University to realize electromechanical instrument networked sharing, and demonstrated desirable expansibility and felxibility to satisfy diverse demands of customers.展开更多

This paper presents a design scheme for human comfort instrument based on embedded system, using S3C2440 embedded development board and the sensors to collect the real-time temperature, relative humidity and wind speed data and to process the collecting data;then obtaining the human body comfort value according to the basic algorithm of human body comfort instrument;giving the human comfort conclusion according to the diastolic index range of human comfort, and showing the temperature and humidity, wind speed, comfort value and conclusion through writing the Qt graphical user interface program. At the same time, the human comfort instrument has the data storage function. The human comfort instrument is high in integration, strong in real time, high in sensitivity, stable and reliable, and it meets the development goals of the intelligent meteorological service, and meets the demand of the meteorological service that is closer to life, and it has broad development prospect.展开更多

DM seems to outweigh visible matter roughly six to one, making up about 27% of the universe. Here’s a sobering fact: The matter we know and that makes up all stars and galaxies only accounts for 5% of the content of universe! But what is DM? [1]. Many experiments to detect and study Dark Matter Particles (DMPs) directly are being actively undertaken, but none have yet succeeded. Indirect detection experiments search for the products of the annihilation or decay of DMPs in outer space [2]. In this paper, we discuss main ideas of the Hypersphere World-Universe Model (WUM) and introduce an additional new DMP “XION” (boson) with the rest energy 10.6 μeV that is an analog of Axion. On June 28, 2023, it was announced the existence of Cosmic Gravitational Background. In frames of WUM, we give an explanation of this discovery based on the analysis of “Gravitoplasma” composed of objects with Planck mass, which were created as the result of Weak Interaction between XIONs and other particles in the Medium.展开更多
