On the Study of the Translator's Position in Traditional Translation Theories

In traditional translation theories, the author and the translator, the original text and the translated text are in the binary oppositions. Both author-centeredness and text-centeredness are in authoritative positions. Moreover, there are some incorrect viewpoints about the translator's position in the traditional translation theories. In this case, this paper will analyze the translator's position in the traditional translation theories comprehensively.

Alignment of beam position monitors in cryomodule of CADS injector Ⅱ

Significant temperature difference(300-77 K or even 4 K) can cause large deformations and displacements of the beam position monitors(BPMs),which affect BPMs measurement resolution or even cause their malfunction in cryogenic situations.In this paper,to check the offset from the mechanical to electrical center in low temperature(77 K),Fourier's law and finite element method are used to simulate cryo-deformation.Laser tracker and micro-alignment telescope are employed in combined BPM calibration,installation and monitoring.The calibration error is<0.02 mm,and the installation and monitoring precision are 0.06 mm and 0.01 mm,respectively.The monitored cryo-deformation agrees well with the simulation results.These indicate that the combined alignment can improve performance of the BPM system.All these guaranteed the success of running the 9.55 MeV@2.14 mA cw protons.

Health risk assessment of trace metal(loid)s in agricultural soils based on Monte Carlo simulation coupled with positive matrix factorization model in Chongqing, southwest China

This study aimed to investigate the pollution characteristics, source apportionment, and health risks associated with trace metal(loid)s(TMs) in the major agricultural producing areas in Chongqing, China. We analyzed the source apportionment and assessed the health risk of TMs in agricultural soils by using positive matrix factorization(PMF) model and health risk assessment(HRA) model based on Monte Carlo simulation. Meanwhile, we combined PMF and HRA models to explore the health risks of TMs in agricultural soils by different pollution sources to determine the priority control factors. Results showed that the average contents of cadmium(Cd), arsenic (As), lead(Pb), chromium(Cr), copper(Cu), nickel(Ni), and zinc(Zn) in the soil were found to be 0.26, 5.93, 27.14, 61.32, 23.81, 32.45, and 78.65 mg/kg, respectively. Spatial analysis and source apportionment analysis revealed that urban and industrial sources, agricultural sources, and natural sources accounted for 33.0%, 27.7%, and 39.3% of TM accumulation in the soil, respectively. In the HRA model based on Monte Carlo simulation, noncarcinogenic risks were deemed negligible(hazard index <1), the carcinogenic risks were at acceptable level(10^(-6)<total carcinogenic risk ≤ 10^(-4)), with higher risks observed for children compared to adults. The relationship between TMs, their sources, and health risks indicated that urban and industrial sources were primarily associated with As, contributing to 75.1% of carcinogenic risks and 55.7% of non-carcinogenic risks, making them the primary control factors. Meanwhile, agricultural sources were primarily linked to Cd and Pb, contributing to 13.1% of carcinogenic risks and 21.8% of non-carcinogenic risks, designating them as secondary control factors.

Adsorption behavior of CO_(2)/H_(2)S mixtures in calcite slit nanopores for CO_(2) storage:An insight from molecular perspective

It is acknowledged that injecting CO_(2) into oil reservoirs and saline aquifers for storage is a practical and affordable method for CO_(2) sequestration.Most CO_(2) produced from industrial exhaust contains impurity gases such as H_(2)S that might impact CO_(2) sequestration due to competitive adsorption.This study makes a commendable effort to explore the adsorption behavior of CO_(2)/H_(2)S mixtures in calcite slit nanopores.Grand Canonical Monte Carlo(GCMC)simulation is employed to reveal the adsorption of CO_(2),H_(2)S as well as their binary mixtures in calcite nanopores.Results show that the increase in pressure and temperature can promote and inhibit the adsorption capacity of CO_(2) and H_(2)S in calcite nanopores,respectively.CO_(2)exhibits stronger adsorption on calcite surface than H_(2)S.Electrostatic energy plays the dominating role in the adsorption behavior.Electrostatic energy accounts for 97.11%of the CO_(2)-calcite interaction energy and 56.33%of the H_(2)S-calcite interaction energy at 10 MPa and 323.15 K.The presence of H_(2)S inhibits the CO_(2) adsorption in calcite nanopores due to competitive adsorption,and a higher mole fraction of H_(2)S leads to less CO_(2) adsorption.The quantity of CO_(2) adsorbed is lessened by approximately 33%when the mole fraction of H_(2)S reaches 0.25.CO_(2) molecules preferentially occupy the regions near the po re wall and H_(2)S molecules tend to reside at the center of nanopore even when the molar ratio of CO_(2) is low,indicating that CO_(2) has an adsorption priority on the calcite surface over H_(2)S.In addition,moisture can weaken the adsorption of both CO_(2) and H_(2)S,while CO_(2) is more affected.More interestingly,we find that pure CO_(2) is more suitable to be sequestrated in the shallower formations,i.e.,500-1500 m,whereas CO_(2)with H_(2)S impurity should be settled in the deeper reservoirs.

Gly-LysPred: Identification of Lysine Glycation Sites in Protein Using Position Relative Features and Statistical Moments via Chou’s 5 Step Rule

Glycation is a non-enzymatic post-translational modification which assigns sugar molecule and residues to a peptide.It is a clinically important attribute to numerous age-related,metabolic,and chronic diseases such as diabetes,Alzheimer’s,renal failure,etc.Identification of a non-enzymatic reaction are quite challenging in research.Manual identification in labs is a very costly and timeconsuming process.In this research,we developed an accurate,valid,and a robust model named as Gly-LysPred to differentiate the glycated sites from non-glycated sites.Comprehensive techniques using position relative features are used for feature extraction.An algorithm named as a random forest with some preprocessing techniques and feature engineering techniques was developed to train a computational model.Various types of testing techniques such as self-consistency testing,jackknife testing,and cross-validation testing are used to evaluate the model.The overall model’s accuracy was accomplished through self-consistency,jackknife,and cross-validation testing 100%,99.92%,and 99.88%with MCC 1.00,0.99,and 0.997 respectively.In this regard,a user-friendly webserver is also urbanized to accumulate the whole procedure.These features vectorization methods suggest that they can play a critical role in other web servers which are developed to classify lysine glycation.

Fast ray tracing method in 3-D structure and its proof of positive definiteness

Based on Fermat’s principle, two-point ray tracing method was studied in three-dimensional structure. By means of first order Taylor’s incomplete series expansion (i.e. no expansion to the length of the ray), a symmetry block tridiagonal matrix equation set was deduced. Further, the positive definiteness of coefficient matrix was discussed, and the positive definiteness was accurately proved in a mathematical way. It assured that the algorithm was well-posed. Associated with iterative method, the solution to ray tracing can be got through step-by-step linearized iteration of the nonlinear problem. An algorithm of the whole path iterative ray tracing method in three-dimensional velocity structure was obtained. This method shows a clear and simple as well as explicit computation formula, which makes ray tracing computation easily applicable in practice. The correction vector is obtained through finding the solution to the positive definite block tridiagonal equation set, which ensures the method is robust convergence. This study offers a new kind of feasible and efficient ray tracing method for three dimensional seismic migration and tomography. Meanwhile, it also provides the prerequisite guarantee to design a fast algorithm.

Existence of Positive Solutions of Three-point Boundary Value Problem for Higher Order Nonlinear Fractional Differential Equations

In this paper, we consider the positive solutions of fractional three-point boundary value problem of the form Dο^α＋u（t）＋f（t,u（t）,u＇（t）,…,u^（n-3）（5）,u^（n-2）（t））=0,u^（i）（0）=0,0≤i≤n-2,u^（n-2）（1）-βu^（n-2）（ξ）=0,where 0〈t〈1,n-1〈α≤n,n≥2,ξ Е（0,1）,βξ^a-n〈1. We first transform it into another equivalent boundary value problem. Then, we derive the Green＇s function for the equivalent boundary value problem and show that it satisfies certain properties. At last, by using some fixed-point theorems, we obtain the existence of positive solution for this problem. Example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our result.

Investigation on characteristics of liquid self-diffusion in slit nanopores using simple quasicrystal model of liquid

Dynamical properties of liquid in nano-channels attract much interest because of their applications in engineering and biological systems. The transfer behavior of liquid confined within nanopores differs significantly from that in the bulk. Based on the simple quasicrystal model of liquid, analytical expressions of self-diffusion coefficient both in bulk and in slit nanopore are derived from the Stokes–Einstein equation and the modified Eyring's equation for viscosity. The local self-diffusion coefficient in different layers of liquid and the global self-diffusion coefficient in the slit nanopore are deduced from these expressions. The influences of confinement by pore walls,pore widths, liquid density, and temperature on the self-diffusion coefficient are investigated. The results indicate that the self-diffusion coefficient in nanopore increases with the pore width and approaches the bulk value as the pore width is sufficiently large. Similar to that in bulk state, the self-diffusion coefficient in nanopore decreases with the increase of density and the decrease of temperature, but these dependences are weaker than that in bulk state and become even weaker as the pore width decreases. This work provides a simple method to capture the physical behavior and to investigate the dynamic properties of liquid in nanopores.

Positive solutions to (n-1,1) m-point boundary value problems with dependence on the first order derivative

Using the extension of Krasnoselskii＇s fixed point theorem in a cone, we prove the existence of at least one positive solution to the nonlinear nth order m-point boundary value problem with dependence on the first order derivative. The associated Green＇s function for the nth order m-point boundary value problem is given, and growth conditions are imposed on the nonlinear term f which ensures the existence of at least one positive solution. A simple example is presented to illustrate applications of the obtained results.
