基于主位推进理论,本文对中国文化类英语教材《中国文化概况(英文版)》中的六个章节采用定量统计和定性分析的研究方法,探究教材中主位与主位推进模式的使用情况。研究发现:1) 单项主位最多,复项主位居中;2) 延续型和主位同一型占主导;...基于主位推进理论,本文对中国文化类英语教材《中国文化概况(英文版)》中的六个章节采用定量统计和定性分析的研究方法,探究教材中主位与主位推进模式的使用情况。研究发现:1) 单项主位最多,复项主位居中;2) 延续型和主位同一型占主导;3) 主位推进模式的选择受中西方文化差异、外国学习者的心理防范等因素影响。研究发现对中国文化类英语教材的编写和如何用英语讲述中国故事具有一定参考价值。Based on the thematic progression theory, this study applies quantitative and qualitative approach to analyze six chapters of the English textbook on Chinese culture, Overview of Chinese Culture (English Version), to explore the use of themes and thematic progression patterns in the textbook. The findings are as follows: 1) Simple theme is the most, and multiple theme is in the middle;2) Linear thematic progression and thematic progression with a continuous theme are dominant;3) The selection of thematic progression patterns is affected by factors such as the differences between Chinese culture and Western culture, and the psychological precautions of foreign learners. This study has certain reference value for the compilation of English textbooks on Chinese culture and how to tell Chinese stories in English.展开更多
