In order to better understand and guide college students’ idol worship, this paper uses questionnaire surveys, literature research, interview surveys and other methods to conduct an in-depth analysis and research on the idolatry psychology of college students. Through the survey, it can be seen that the idol worship of college students is very extensive, and has both positive and negative effects, their idol worship shows diversity, and most college students prefer consumer idols. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, this paper argues that college students have the need for celebrity idolatry in terms of social needs, respect needs, aesthetic needs and self-satisfaction needs, and should pay enough attention to their mentality and behavior, and give them scientific guidance, so that they can give full play to the positive role of idolatry, so as to better promote the healthy development of their bodies and minds, promote their personality development, and then correctly guide college students to worship idols.展开更多
