Despite numerous known methods for a solution, the mentioned problem is very complicated due to the presence of an extensive population of certain dynamical conditions, requirements and restrictions, which must be satisfied by the appropriate choice of a steering control law. The aim of this paper is to simplify the procedure of the synthesis, providing accurate steering with desirable dynamics of the control system. The approach proposed here is based on the usage of a special unified multipurpose control law structure that allows decoupling a synthesis into simpler particular optimization problems. In particular, this structure includes a dynamical corrector to support the desirable features for the vehicle's motion under the action of sea wave disturbances. As a result, a specialized new method for the corrector design is proposed to provide an accurate steering or a trade-off between accurate steering and economical steering of the ship. This method guaranties a certain flexibility of the control law with respect to an actual environment of the sailing;its corresponding turning can be realized in real time onboard.展开更多

In Alopex-DE, each original individua...To solve dynamic optimization problem of chemical process (CPDOP), a hybrid differential evolution algorithm, which is integrated with Alopex and named as Alopex-DE, was proposed. In Alopex-DE, each original individual has its own symbiotic individual, which consists of control parameters. Differential evolution operator is applied for the original individuals to search the global optimization solution. Alopex algorithm is used to co-evolve the symbiotic individuals during the original individual evolution and enhance the fitness of the original individuals. Thus, control parameters are self-adaptively adjusted by Alopex to obtain the real-time optimum values for the original population. To illustrate the whole performance of Alopex-DE, several varietal DEs were applied to optimize 13 benchmark functions. The results show that the whole performance of Alopex-DE is the best. Further, Alopex-DE was applied to solve 4 typical CPDOPs, and the effect of the discrete time degree on the optimization solution was analyzed. The satisfactory result is obtained.展开更多

The approach proposed here is based on the use of a special unified multipurpose contr...This paper focuses on the problem of control law optimization for marine vessels working in a dynamical positioning (DP) regime. The approach proposed here is based on the use of a special unified multipurpose control law structure constructed on the basis of nonlinear asymptotic observers, that allows the decoupling of a synthesis into simpler particular optimization problems. The primary reason for the observers is to restore deficient information concerning the unmeasured velocities of the vessel. Using a number of separate items in addition to the observers, it is possible to achieve desirable dynamical features of the closed loop connection. The most important feature is the so-called dynamical corrector, and this paper is therefore devoted to solving its optimal synthesis in marine vessels controlled by DP systems under the action of sea wave disturbances. The problem involves the need for minimal intensity of the control action determined by high frequency sea wave components. A specialized approach for designing the dynamical corrector is proposed and the applicability and effectiveness of the approach are illustrated using a practical example of underwater DP system synthesis.展开更多
In order to provide a practicable solution to data confidentiality in cloud storage service,a data assured deletion scheme,which achieves the fine grained access control,hopping and sniffing attacks resistance,data dy...In order to provide a practicable solution to data confidentiality in cloud storage service,a data assured deletion scheme,which achieves the fine grained access control,hopping and sniffing attacks resistance,data dynamics and deduplication,is proposed.In our scheme,data blocks are encrypted by a two-level encryption approach,in which the control keys are generated from a key derivation tree,encrypted by an All-OrNothing algorithm and then distributed into DHT network after being partitioned by secret sharing.This guarantees that only authorized users can recover the control keys and then decrypt the outsourced data in an ownerspecified data lifetime.Besides confidentiality,data dynamics and deduplication are also achieved separately by adjustment of key derivation tree and convergent encryption.The analysis and experimental results show that our scheme can satisfy its security goal and perform the assured deletion with low cost.展开更多

Our novel method is to add chaotic dynamic vibration to the measurement or sensor system.The sensor sensitivity and precision of a measurement system would be improved with this method. We aim ...The main goal of the paper is to interpret the concept of organizational change in the perspective of critical management studies, by analyzing both the discourses and the control practices used by management. We aim at denaturalize the concept of change related to transition from a bureaucratic model to a professional (post-bureaucratic) model of the call centers organizational design, showing how these discourses and practices reproduce control systems. For this purpose, two cases study of call center outsourced industry are presented. On one hand, we emphasize the bureaucratic nature of call center A associated with standardization of processes and products and where work is highly controlled and routinised. On the other hand, we observe a different image of call center: call center B can be described as a place where work is customized, workers are considered key resources with higher competences and skills that are able to give customers unique solutions and to give answer to complex questions. We suggest that these "new practices" and "new organizational approaches" are merely illusions of change. We argue that in professional model (call center B), control institutionalized through technology is strengthened and deepened by the use of post-bureaucratic control in shaping organizational behaviors, reproducing a Panopticon structure both in terms of electronic surveillance and in terms of behavioral (self) regulation and discipline展开更多

Then we propose an inverse optimal controller based on the static CLF that attains a gain margin. Moreover, the static energy-efficient power control (SEPC) algorithm is proposed in static scenario to maximize the capacity of secondary users (SUs) and to reduce the power consumption according to the interference from PU to SU. Furthermore, based on the analysis of PU's dynamic feature with Markov chain and SEPC algorithm,the dynamic energy-efficient power control (DEPC) algorithm is proposed taking into account the probability of detection and false alarm caused by sensing errors. Extensive simulation results show that the performance of the proposed algorithms is significantly improved compared with the existing algorithm.展开更多

The approach incorporates the virtues both from indirect and direct methods: it solves the optimality conditions like the traditional indirect methods do, but uses a discretization technique inspired from direct methods. Compared with other indirect approaches, the proposed approach has two main advantages: (1) the discretized optimization problem only employs unconstrained nonlinear programming (NLP) algorithms such as BFGS (Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno), rather than constrained NLP algorithms, therefore the computational efficiency is increased; (2) the relationship between the number of the discretized time intervals and the integration error of the four-step Adams predictor-corrector algorithm is established, thus the minimal number of time intervals that under desired integration tolerance can be estimated. The classic batch reactor problem is tested and compared in detail with literature reports, and the results reveal the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Dealing with path constraints requires extra techniques, and will be studied in the second paper.展开更多

The planar Kagome truss can achieve arbitrary in-plane nodal displacements with minimal internal resistance when its rods are deformed. Moreover, the in-plane deflection of the planar Kagome truss may induce the lateral deflection of the whole sandwich plate. In this paper, the feasibility to enhance the damping of the truss-cored sandwich plate through the replacement of a very small portion of rods in the planar Kagome truss by cylindrical viscoelastic dampers is exploited. The Biot model is chosen to simulate the behavior of the viscoelastic material in the dampers, and the fraction of axial modal strain energy of the rods in the planar Kagome truss is adopted as the index to decide the positions of the dampers. Through complex modal analysis and time-domain simulation, it is shown that the passive vibration control approach is very effective for the vibration reduction of this kind of truss-cored sandwich plates.展开更多

In the dynamic modeling, the double-compatible free-interface modal synthesis method is used to establish dynamic model of the system, and its model precision is compared with those of finite element method(FEM), fixedinterface modal synthesis method and free-interface modal synthesis method. In the active control, the swing angle of rocket motor is used as design variable, and the control law design based on the model of mass center motion is adopted to validate the system. Simulation results indicate that the double-compatible model synthesis method can properly approximate the FEM which is used as the benchmark solution, and the model precision of the double-compatible modal synthesis method is obviously higher than those of the fixed-interface and freeinterface modal synthesis methods. Based on the control law design, the deflection of mass center of the launch vehicle is very small.展开更多
