The changing relations between the ground-state energy of the bound polaron in the quantum well and the Coulomb bound potential, the electric field strength, and the well width are derived. The numerical results show that the ground-state energy increases with the increase of the electric field strength and the Coulomb bound potential and decreases as the well width increases.展开更多

The temperature distribution in laminated beams underging thermal boundary conditions has been investigated.The thermal boundary conditions are general and include various combinations of prescribed heat fluxes and te...The temperature distribution in laminated beams underging thermal boundary conditions has been investigated.The thermal boundary conditions are general and include various combinations of prescribed heat fluxes and temperatures at the edges.An analytical solution of temperature for the laminated beam is present on the basis of the heat conduction theory in this paper.The proposed method is applicable to the beams with arbitrary thickness and layer numbers.Due to the complexity of the boundary conditions,the temperature field to be determined was considered from two sources.The first part was the temperature field from the complex temperature conditions at two edges of the laminated beam.The solution for the temperature of the first part was constructed to satisfy temperature boundary conditions at two edges.The second part was the temperature field from the upper and lower surface temperatures without taking account of the thermal conditions at two edges.In this part,the exact solution for the temperature was obtained based on the heat conduction theory.The convergence of the solution was examined by analyzing terms of Fourier series.The validity and feasibility of the proposed method was verified by comparing theoretical results with numerical results due to the equivalent single layer approach and the finite element method(FEM).The influences of surface temperatures,beam thicknesses,layer numbers and material properties with respects to the solution of the temperature field of the beam were investigated via a series of parametric studies.展开更多
In order to consider the influence of temperature and underground water movement, an elastoplastic model and a 2D FEM stress fields on the migration of radioactive nuclide with code for analysis of coupled thermo-hyd...In order to consider the influence of temperature and underground water movement, an elastoplastic model and a 2D FEM stress fields on the migration of radioactive nuclide with code for analysis of coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) processes in saturated and unsaturated porous media were extended and improved through introducing the percolation and migration equation, so that the code can be used for solving the temperature field, flow field, stress field and nuclide concentration field simultaneously. The states of temperatures, pore pressures and nuclide concentrations in the near field of a hypothetical nuclear waste repository were investigated. The influence of the half life of the radioactive nuclide on the temporal change of nuclide concentration was analyzed considering the thermo-hydro-mechanical-migratory coupling. The results show that, at the boundary of the vitrified waste, the concentration of radioactive nuclide with a half life of 10 a falls after a period of rising, with the maximum value of 0.182 mol/m3 and the minimum value of 0.181 mol/m^3 at the end of computation. For a half life of 1 000 a, the concentration of radioactive nuclide always increases with the increase of the time during the computation period; and the maximum value is 1.686 mol/m^3 at the end of the computation. Therefore, under the condition of THM coupling, the concentration of radioactive nuclide with a shorter half life will decrease more quickly with water flow; but for the radioactive nuclide with a longer half life, its concentration will keep at a higher level for a longer time in the migration process.展开更多

There were errors in numerical analysis of stability for goaf, if it was analyzed as regular 3D mined-out area and the influence of coupling stress-seepage-disturbance was not considered adequately. Taking a lead zinc mine as the background, the model was built by the coupling of Surpac and Midas-Gts based on the goaf model precisely measured by CMS.According to seepage stress fundamental equations based on the equivalent continuum mechanical and the theory about equivalent load of dynamic disturbance in deep-hole blasting, the stability of mined-out area under multi-field coupling of stress-seepage-dynamic disturbance was numerically analyzed. The results show that it is more consistent between the numerical analysis model based on the real model of irregular 3D shape goaf and the real situation, which could faithfully reappear the change rule of stress–strain about the surrounding rock under synthetic action of blasting dynamic loading and the seepage pressure. The mined-out area multi-field coupling formed by blasting excavation is stable. Based on combination of the advantages of the CMS,Surpac and Midas-Gts, and fully consideration of the effects of multi-field coupling, the accurate and effective way could be provided for numerical analysis of stability for mined-out area.展开更多

In this work,the chromium aluminum nitride(CrAlN)coatings were prepared on TC11 titanium alloy by composite magnetic field cathodic arc ion plating with controllable pulse electromagnetic combined with permanent magne...In this work,the chromium aluminum nitride(CrAlN)coatings were prepared on TC11 titanium alloy by composite magnetic field cathodic arc ion plating with controllable pulse electromagnetic combined with permanent magnet.The effects of electromagnetic frequency on the morphology,microstructure,nano-hardness and elastic modulus of the coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and nano-indenter.This paper has mainly studied the influence of CrAlN coatings which are prepared at various electromagnetic frequencies on the wear and erosion resistance through a series of wear and solid particle erosion experiments.It was found that the deposition rate of CrAlN coatings increases with the increase of electromagnetic frequency.And CrAlN coatings all preferentially grew along the(111)crystal plane.At 16.7 Hz,with the increase of pulsed electromagnetic frequency,the hardness is the highest(23.6 GPa)and the adhesion is the highest(41.5 N).In addition,the coating deposition exhibited the best wear and solid erosion resistance at 16.7 Hz and 33.3 Hz,the friction coefficient is about 0.35,and the erosion rate is about 0.2μm/g at 30°and less than 1μm/g at 90°,respectively.These results indicate that the CrAlN coating formed at an appropriate pulsed electromagnetic frequency can achieve excellent mechanical properties,wear and solid erosion resistance.展开更多

In this paper, the authors employ correl...The aim of the paper is to provide some evidences on relationships among the degree of financial integration, stock exchange markets, and volatility of national market returns. In this paper, the authors employ correlation and cluster analyses in order to investigate the impact of stock exchange consolidation on volatility of market returns, in terms of a financial integration between involved stock exchanges before and after the merger. By using the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) (1.1) model, the authors test the change in volatilities of national stock exchange markets involved in the following stock exchange integration case studies: Euronext, Bolsasy Mercados Espanoles (BME), and Swedish-Finnish financial services company (OMX). These three case studies are considered as completed cases of market consolidation, where the data are available enough to conduct the current research. By using daily data of national returns of engaged European stock markets from 1995 to 2007, the paper investigates the influence of stock exchange consolidation on volatility of national stock market returns. The obtained results confirm the gradual decrease of volatility in each of the integrated stock markets. However, the level of decrease in terms of volatility depends on economic characteristics of each engaged market and its degree of integration with other financial services. The results of correlation and cluster analyses confirm that stock operators have created significantly non-official integration links through cross-memberships and cross-listings even before the consolidations. Thus, the mergers among stock exchanges can be considered as the rational consequences of the high internal co-movements between involved markets. Furthermore, stock exchange markets with strong non-official integration links show an immediate decrease of volatility after the merger, meanwhile for others, it takes several years before the volatility can decrease as markets should reach the full integration.展开更多

Fourier transforms are used to reduce the mixed boundary value problems of the crack, which is assumed to b e permeable, to dual integral equations. The solution of the dual integral equations is then ex pressed analytically. Expressions for strains, stresses, electric fields, electric displacements, mag netic fields and magnetic inductions in the vicinity of the crack tip are derived. Field intensi ty factors and energy release rate for piezoelectromagnetic material are obtaine d. LiFePO4/C composites were synthesized by a molten salt (MS) method using the mixture of LiCl,LiOH and NaCl.The prepared LiFePO4/C composites are characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD),field emission scanning elec...LiFePO4/C composites were synthesized by a molten salt (MS) method using the mixture of LiCl,LiOH and NaCl.The prepared LiFePO4/C composites are characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and charge-discharge test.XRD patterns indicate that LiFePO4 prepared in the temperature range of 550-700 ℃ crystallizes well in an olivine-type structure.Through FESEM images,the sphere-like and homogeneous particles of 0.2 μm can be observed.The charge-discharge test shows that the materials prepared at 600 ℃ for 12 h have good electrochemical performance.At the rates of 0.2C (34 mA/g) and 0.5C,the discharge capacities are 144.6 and 122.3 mA·h/g,respectively,together with good cycle performances.展开更多

The obtained results confirm the gradual decrease of volatility in each of the integrated stock markets. However, the level of decrease in terms of volatility depends on economic characteristics of each engaged market and its degree of integration with other financial services. The results of correlation and cluster analyses confirm that stock operators have created significantly non-official integration links through cross-memberships and cross-listings even before the consolidations. Thus, the mergers among stock exchanges can be considered as the rational consequences of the high internal co-movements between involved markets. Furthermore, stock exchange markets with strong non-official integration links show an immediate decrease of volatility after the merger, meanwhile for others, it takes several years before the volatility can decrease as markets should reach the full integration.

文摘For higher concentration of inclusions, an effective medium approximation (EMA) method is used to investigate the bulk effective response of weakly nonlinear composites, which are subject to the constitutive relation of electric displacement and electric field, Dα = εαE +Xα|E|^2 E. As an example of three dimensions, under the external AC and DC electric fields Eapp = Eα(1 + sinωt), we have derived the general effective nonh'near response of composites by the EMA method for higher concentration of spherical inclusions. Furthermore, the effective nonlinear responses at harmonics are predicted.
文摘Analytical solutions for a Griffith crack inside an infinite piezoel ectromagnetic medium under combined mechanical-electrical-magnetic loadings are formulated using integral transform method. The singular stress, electric and magnetic fields in the piez oelectromagnetic material are obtained by the theory of linear piezoelectromagneticity. Fourier transforms are used to reduce the mixed boundary value problems of the crack, which is assumed to b e permeable, to dual integral equations. The solution of the dual integral equations is then ex pressed analytically. Expressions for strains, stresses, electric fields, electric displacements, mag netic fields and magnetic inductions in the vicinity of the crack tip are derived. Field intensi ty factors and energy release rate for piezoelectromagnetic material are obtaine d. The stresses, electric displacements and magnetic inductions at the crack tip show the traditional square root singu larities; and the electric field intensity factor (EFIF) and the magnetic field intensity factor (MFIF) are always zero.

文摘A new approach to maintenance scheduling of generating units(MSU)in competitive electricity markets was presented,which was formulated as a noncooperative game with complete information.The payoff of each generating company(Genco)was defined as the profit from the energy auction market minus maintenance cost and risk loss.The compensation fee of interruptible load was a part of the maintenance cost when the permitted maintenance capacity in the system was insufficient.Hourly energy auction was incorporated in the computation of both revenues from energy market and risk loss of maintenance strategy as a nested game.A new heuristic search algorithm for the calculation of the game equilibrium of MSU was presented,which coordinates the solutions of non-equilibrium,unique equilibrium and multiple equilibria.Numerical results for a two-Genco system and a realistic system were used to demonstrate the basic ideas and the applicability of the proposed method,as well as its computational efficiency.
文摘The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the vibration dispersion characteristics of fluid-shell coupled structures was studied.Both fluid-loaded cylindrical shells and fluid-filled cylindrical shells were considered.Numerical analysis was applied to solve the dispersion equations for shells filled with or loaded with fluid at various hydrostatic pressures.The results for external pressure showed that non-dimensional axial wave numbers are nearly independent when the pressure is below the critical level.The influence of internal pressure on wave numbers was found significant for the real branch s=1 and the complex branches of dispersion curves.The presence of internal pressure increased the cut on frequencies for the branch s=1 for high order wave modes.

文摘LiFePO4/C composites were synthesized by a molten salt (MS) method using the mixture of LiCl,LiOH and NaCl.The prepared LiFePO4/C composites are characterized by X-ray diffractometry (XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and charge-discharge test.XRD patterns indicate that LiFePO4 prepared in the temperature range of 550-700 ℃ crystallizes well in an olivine-type structure.Through FESEM images,the sphere-like and homogeneous particles of 0.2 μm can be observed.The charge-discharge test shows that the materials prepared at 600 ℃ for 12 h have good electrochemical performance.At the rates of 0.2C (34 mA/g) and 0.5C,the discharge capacities are 144.6 and 122.3 mA·h/g,respectively,together with good cycle performances.
文摘A perturbation method is used to study effective response of nonlinear Kerr composites, which are subject to the constitutive relation of electric displacement and electric field, Dα=εαE+xα|E|^2E. Under the external AG and DC electric field Eapp = Eα(1 + sinωt), the effective nonlinear responses and local potentials are induced by the cubic nonlinearity of Kerr materials at all harmonics. As an example in three dimensions, we have investigated this kind of nonlinear composites with spherical inclusions embedded in a host. At all harmonic frequencies, the potentials in inclusion and host regions are derived. Furthermore, the formulae of the effective linear and nonlinear responses are given in the dilute Iimit.

文摘This paper investigates the entanglement of a two-qutrit Heisenberg XXX chain with nonlinear couplings under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. By the concept of negativity, we find that the critical temperature increases with the increase of inhomogeneous magnetic field b. Our study indicates that for any |K| 〉 |J|, or |K| 〈 |J| entanglement always exists for certain regions. We also find that at the critical point, the entanglement becomes a nonanalytic function of B and a quantum phase transition occurs.

文摘The molecular-based magnetic materials AFe11 Fe111(C2O4)3 have a honeycomb structure in which FeII (S = 2) and FeIH (S= 5/2) occupy sites alternately. They can be described as mixed spin-2 and spin-5/2 Ising model with ferrimagnetic interlayer coupling. The influences of the transverse field on the internal energy and the specific heat of the molecalar-based magnetic system have been studied numerically by using the effective-field theory with self-spin correlations and the differential operator technique.
