In this study, based on AVA forward modeling and angle-domain common-image gathers we use prestack AVA parameters consistency inversion in predicting gas hydrate sediments in the Shenhu area at northern slope of South China Sea, and obtain the vertical and lateral features and saturation of GHS.展开更多

The effect of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), alkyl polysaccharide glycoside (APG) and cyclopentane (CP) on natural gas hydrate formation rate, induction time and storage capacity was studied. Micellar surfactant solutions were found to increase hydrate formation rate in a quiescent system and improve hydrate formation rate and natural gas storage capacity. The process of hydrate formation includes two stages with surfactant presence. Hydrate forms quickly in the first stage, and then the formation rate is slowed down. Surfactants (SDS or APG) reduce the induction time of hydrate formation. The effect of an anionic surfactant (SDS) on gas storage in hydrates is more pronounced compared to a nonionic surfactant (APG). CP also reduces the induction time of hydrate formation, but can not improve the natural gas storage capacity in hydrates.展开更多

It has some advantages such as shallow burial depth, good physical properties and the huge accumulations. Based on the Wigner-Vill distribution,a general spectral decomposition method is applied in the shallow gas detection. Cone-shaped kernel function filtering method is used to suppress cross-terms of the Wigner-Ville distribution, which is tested on field seismic data. Because of shallow gas reservoir has a characteristic that low frequency energy is stronger and high frequency energy is weaker,it indicates the presence of shallow gas successfully.展开更多

The gases include Ar (argon), N2 (nitrogen) and CO2 (carbon dioxide). The gas kinetic diameter with respect to permenace was found to occur in the order of At 〉 CO2 〉 N2, which was not in agreement with molecular sieving mechanism of transport after the first dip-coating of the support. However, gas flow rate was found to increase with gauge pressure in the order of Ar 〉 CO2 〉 N2, indicating Knudsen mechanism of transport. The porous ceramic support showed a higher flux indicating Knudsen transport. The surface image of the dip-coated porous ceramic membrane was characterised using SEM (scanning electron microscopy) to determine the surface morphology of the porous support at 333 K.展开更多

However, there are no industrial products of LDHIs available domestically, and the corresponding application experience is in urgent need. In this paper, a combined hydrate inhibitor (HY-1) was synthesized after a series of reaction condition optimization, and its performance on THF hydrate inhibition was investigated using kinetic hydrate inhibitor evaluation apparatus with 6 cells bathing in air. The results show that when the reaction temperature is 60℃, the reaction time is 6 h, and the monomer: solvent ratio is 1:2, the product has the best kinetic hydrate inhibitor performance on THF hydrate. On these bases, the scale-up production of this combined hydrate inhibitor was carried out. Although the scale-up product (HY-10) performs less effectively on the THF hydrate inhibition than HY-1, it functions better than a commercial product (Inhibex501) during in-house tests. HY-10 was successfully applied to the gas production process. Field trials in northem Shaanxi PetroChina Changqing Oilfield Company (PCOC) show that 2 wt% of HY-10 is effective on natural gas hydrate inhibition. It is found through economic analysis that the use of HY-10 has obvious economi- cal advantage over methanol and Inhibex501.展开更多
