一般认为,Newmark-β法属于积分类型的动力数值分析方法,和基于荷载分段插值类型的数值方法不是相同类型的方法。在本文中,研究了这两类方法之间的关系,以最常使用的两种Newmark方法——平均常加速度法和线性加速度法为例,从Newmark基... 一般认为,Newmark-β法属于积分类型的动力数值分析方法,和基于荷载分段插值类型的数值方法不是相同类型的方法。在本文中,研究了这两类方法之间的关系,以最常使用的两种Newmark方法——平均常加速度法和线性加速度法为例,从Newmark基本假定出发推导出这两种方法所具有的荷载分布模式。结果发现:平均常加速度法和线性加速度法与各时间步距内荷载分布模式分别取为二次函数和三次函数时的荷载分段精确法完全相同,但平均常加速度法在时步的始末端点处荷载是不连续的,且同真实荷载值不重合。因此,Newmark-β法亦可看作是一种基于荷载分段插值类型的数值分析方法,可以从荷载分布模式假定的角度解释Newmark-β法的数值机理。最后,通过一个单自由度体系实例阐释了本文结论的正确性。 展开更多

In this paper, stochastic model to compete the probability that target penetrates the defended area along any flight path is established by the state analysis and statistical equilibrium analysis of stochastic service system theory. The simulated annealing algorithm is an enlightening random search method based on Monte Carlo recursion, and it can find global optimal solution by simulating annealing process. Combining stochastic model to compete the probability and simulated annealing algorithm, this paper establishes the method to solve problem quantitatively about combat configuration optimization of weapon systems. The calculated result shows that the perfect configuration for fire cells of the weapon is fast found by using this method, and this quantificational method for combat configuration is faster and more scientific than previous one based on principle via map fire field. 展开更多

A mathematical mechanism model was proposed for the description and analysis of the heat-stirring-acid leaching process.The model is proved to be effective by experiment.Afterwards,the leaching problem was formulated as a constrained multi-objective optimization problem based on the mechanism model.A two-stage guide multi-objective particle swarm optimization(TSG-MOPSO) algorithm was proposed to solve this optimization problem,which can accelerate the convergence and guarantee the diversity of pareto-optimal front set as well.Computational experiment was conducted to compare the solution by the proposed algorithm with SIGMA-MOPSO by solving the model and with the manual solution in practice.The results indicate that the proposed algorithm shows better performance than SIGMA-MOPSO,and can improve the current manual solutions significantly.The improvements of production time and economic benefit compared with manual solutions are 10.5% and 7.3%,respectively. 展开更多

The hyperrectangular flexibility region determined by the extended algorithm is larger than that calculated by the previous algorithms. The limitation of the proposed algorithm due to imperfect convexity and its corresponding verification measure are also discussed. A semiautomatic segmentation method based on active contour is proposed for computed tomography (CT) image series. First, to get initial contour, one image slice was segmented exactly by C-V method based on Mumford-Shah model. Next, the computer will segment the nearby slice automatically using the snake model one by one. During segmenting of image slices, former slice boundary, as next slice initial contour, may cross over next slice real boundary and never return to right position. To avoid contour skipping over, the distance variance between two slices is evaluated by an threshold, which decides whether to initiate again. Moreover, a new improved marching cubes (MC) algorithm based on 2D images series segmentation boundary is given for 3D image reconstruction. Compared with the standard method, the proposed algorithm reduces detecting time and needs less storing memory. The effectiveness and capabilities of the algorithm were illustrated by experimental results. 展开更多

This paper presents a new idea, named as modeling multisensor-heterogeneous information, to incorporate the fuzzy logic methodologies with mulitsensor-multitarget system under the framework of random set theory. Firstly, based on strong random set and weak random set, the unified form to describe both data (unambiguous information) and fuzzy evidence (uncertain information) is introduced. Secondly, according to signatures of fuzzy evidence, two Bayesian-markov nonlinear measurement models are proposed to fuse effectively data and fuzzy evidence. Thirdly, by use of "the models-based signature-matching scheme", the operation of the statistics of fuzzy evidence defined as random set can be translated into that of the membership functions of relative point state variables. These works are the basis to construct qualitative measurement models and to fuse data and fuzzy evidence. 展开更多

Several peripheral nerves intimately regulate the state of the brain, spinal cord, and visceral systems. A new class of therapeutics, called bioelectronic medicines, are being developed to precisely regulate physiology and treat dysfunction using peripheral nerve stimulation. In this review, we first discuss new work using closed-loop bioelectronic medicine to treat upper limb paralysis. In contrast to open-loop bioelectronic medicines, closed-loop approaches trigger ‘on demand' peripheral nerve stimulation due to a change in function(e.g., during an upper limb movement or a change in cardiopulmonary state). We also outline our perspective on timing rules for closedloop bioelectronic stimulation, interface features for non-invasively stimulating peripheral nerves, and machine learning algorithms to recognize disease events for closed-loop stimulation control. Although there will be several challenges for this emerging field, we look forward to future bioelectronic medicines that can autonomously sense changes in the body, to provide closed-loop peripheral nerve stimulation and treat disease. 展开更多

A more general method was presented to construct measure, which was an essential improvement to the existing result. Permanent magnet tubular linear motors(TLMs) arranged in multiple rows and multiple columns used for a radiotherapy machine were studied. Due to severe volumetric and thermal constraints, the TLMs were at high risk of overheating. To predict the performance of the TLMs accurately, a multi-physics analysis approach was proposed. Specifically, it considered the coupling effects amongst the electromagnetic and the thermal models of the TLMs, as well as the fluid model of the surrounding air. To reduce computation cost, both the electromagnetic and the thermal models were based on lumped-parameter methods. Only a minimum set of numerical computation(computational fluid dynamics, CFD) was performed to model the complex fluid behavior. With the proposed approach, both steady state and transient state temperature distributions, thermal rating and permissible load can be predicted. Computer simulation is a good guide and reference for development and research on petroleum refining processes. Traditionally, pseudo-components are used in the simulation, in which their physical properties are estimated by empirical relations and cannot be associated with actual chemical reactions, as no molecular structure is available for pseudo-components. This limitation can be overcome if real components are used. In this paper, a real component based method is proposed for the simulation of a diesel hydrotreating process by using the software of Unisim Design. This process includes reaction units and distillation units. The chemical reaction network is established by analyzing the feedstock. The feedstock is characterized by real components, which are obtained based on true boiling point curve. Simulation results are consistent with actual data. 展开更多

RTFF was designed with the goal of scaling to high volume data feeds that are common in large Tier-1 ISP networks and providing rich, timely information on observed attacks. It is a software solution that is designed to run on off-the-shelf hardware platforms and incorporates a scalable data processing architecture along with lightweight analysis algorithms that make it suitable for deployment in large networks. RTFF also makes use of state of the art machine learning algorithms to construct attack models that can be used to detect as well as predict attacks. 展开更多

The aim of this paper is to create an interface for humanrobot interaction. Specifically, musical performance parameters (i. e. vibrato expression) of the Waseda Flutist Robot No. 4 Refined IV (WF-4RIV) are to be manipulated. This research focused on enabling the WF-4RIV to interact with human players (musicians) in a natu- ral way. In this paper, as the first approach, a vision processing algorithm, which is able to track the 3Dorientation and position of a musical instrument, was developed. In particular, the robot acquires image data through two catneras attached to its head. Using color histogram matching and a particle filter, the position of the musician's hands on the inset are tracked. Analysis of this data determines orientation and location of the iustnment. These pa- rameters are mapped to manipulate the musical expression of the WF- 4RIV, more specifically sound vibrato and volume values. The authors present preliminary experiments to determine if the robot may dynamically change musical parameters while interacting with a human player (i.e. vibrato etc. ). From the experirnental results, they may confirm the feasibility of the interaction during the performance, although further research must be carried out to consider the physical constraints of the flutist robot. 展开更多
